Dear Mia, The place has gone downhill Mia herself seems to have taken on too much with this move. Weve tried it and tried it again but they just havent been able to recover. The building is hot the hostesses are a mess and not in a good way, Leslie, the lacking hostess in particular ruined what might have been a 2 Star night. We wish them well but will not be returning. Honorable mention for the manager who attempted his best to tame the circus and the wonderful valet. One unhappy Mama

Very disappointed. Prices are higher than other similar Mexican restaurants, so I was expecting better quality...not the case. I ordered guiso de puerco, and it was totally bland. The top shelf margarita was decent, but for $15, I was expecting it to be much better. With so many other Mexican restaurants in DFW, there is no need to come back to this one.

This is a very low-end so called Tex-Mex restaurant with very mediocre bland food. The service ranks at the Top of the Worst and the Employees park in the Valet parking and will block you on causing a minimum of a 30inite delay when you are ready to leave the premises and then act like you are an inconvenience to the even though you are the paying customer, but how dare you ask for a parking space even though you are the customer. They do have a garage for employees to park in but too inconvenient for them. Your money is much spent better elsewhere on much better quality food and friendlier service. The inside at the building is also very hot, need to upgrade the air conditioning as it was very miserably hot in there.

Go for the beef brisket tacos, stay for the frozen margaritas! The service is quick, food isnt crazy expensive, and there were plenty of seats for lunch on Thursday. Parking: Valet is free and will manage the parking for you

I went yesterday for the first time and it was delicious. The best part about this restaurant was the service. Our server was Jimmy. For a family of 12 he did an amazing job. He was courteous, very attentive and fast to service this many people. I have gone to other restaurants where its only me and my husband, and never had such a good server like this. I highly recommed the restaurant to add gratuity for this many people. This young gentleman deserved it for the great job he did!! We did leave a big tip!

Very disappointed. The food had no flavor and rice was cold. Overpriced for the amount of food but most importantly the service there was terrible. They are rude and I thought it was juat our male waiter, but the way I saw another table being treated by the other male waiter was like wow, how rude! Without a doubt, the best restaurant in Dallas! Taco Tuesday at this place is something we eagerly anticipate each week. Let me save you time if you re looking for top tier Tex Mex in Dallas: - Salsa is one of a kind. Amazing quality, perfect texture & taste - Frozen margaritas are SO good. They are strong, yummy, and they have a Big Red frozen option - Food is PERFECT. Beans and rice - amazing tortillas - meat is quality. - The vibe is super chill - it s a perfect dark but cute and fun atmosphere. Terrible Customer Service !! If you re black stay out of this restaurant ! Racial Discrimination First foremost my fiancé and I had just came from a workout session! Car tires ended up going flat. So we drove to the nearest tire shop which at the time was PepBoys right across the street from, Mia s Tex-Mex Restaurant. We didn t want to Uber home so we ended up walking 1 min across to have a drink and lunch. We expected so much better from this restaurant! Unfortunately because we were the only black people Mia s Tex Mex. From the moment my fiancé and I sat down upon arrivals we were harassed about ID after putting in an order for 2 margaritas. The waiter came back less the 2 min with a $13 margarita in a water cup. && upon arrival with our queso our waitress slid our food on the corner of the table and walked away before we could ask her anything about the menu. Despite our waitress poor service. My fiancé and I both saw our waitress interact more with the YT people and other Hispanics around our table, with the upmost respect and generosity. NEVER EVER HAVE I EXPERIENCED SUCH ! We Work freaking hard for our money to get treated like sh8 completely sh8 !! Never ever again if you are black stay out of Mia s Tex-Mex spend your hard earned money elsewhere there s a bunch of other authentic Mexican restaurants down on Lemmon Ave in the 75219 zip. Mias is one of my favorites and will always be special to me. I first started coming here with my mom, who has since passed away but she loved the food and service as well. Visiting, the establishment again last week with my sister was no different. Even though it took my sister and I about three times for the waiter to take our order, he remained patient, with a smile and eventually helped us decide on what to have, which was excellent . The food is amazing, the service accommodating, and the price after tasting the food, you feel as though you have eaten way more than youre having to pay for, now that is what you call great value. I will come back and the valet parking people were nice and friendly and we tipped them double because we could tell, just by the way that they talked to us that they really took exceptional care of our car while we enjoyed our meal. I went here for lunch. 1st off they only have a small parking lot and you cant park there unless you valet(Money Grab). 2nd as a food connoisseur who loves tex mex , this place is horrible. I had the lunch special which cost $10.95 for a taco, chicken enchilada, and cheese enchilada. No rice or beans. I ate the taco and a little of the cheese enchilada. No flavor. Salsa was not spicy at all. I also had a margarita on the rocks which cost $12. Absolutely ridiculous as it had a bunch of sweet and sour juice and very little tequila. I definitely will not return. There are way too many VERY GOOD TEX MEX RESTAURANTS IN DALLAS . TRUST MIAs is not one of them.

Speedy service, they get you in and out, although we stayed for a while, catching up with friends . The chips are a little crunchy and good salsa. You can purchase several other salsas for your table. I enjoyed the made in house tamales and my chicken enchiladas. I wasnt a big fan of ground beef taco (flavor needed). Food is simple, yet excellent, essentially a sit-down taqueria. The house margarita (frozen) was delicious. The only drawback is that their parking lot is valet, and its just a regular old parking lot...no reason we couldnt park ourselves. Best, fastest and most attentive waiter i have had in a long time! He even spoke Spanish with me and was not put off given i am a gringo. Atmosphere great. Food: beans and cheese on enchiladas had the consistency of water. Cheese no flavor and tasted like flour and water mix. Refried beans watery. Not like i am used to at Rancho Restaurant in Irving. A little pricy for food quality but i do understand it borders on the southwest end of Highland Park. Get the food up to standard and i will amend this review after retesting.

Been here at least 6 times in the last few months. Excellent and fast service every time. The food is always great, the chips and salsa are my absolute favorite in all of DFW. The brisket tacos are very good and tender with great flavor, but we come for the enchiladas

Mias has been a staple in Dallas and a beacon from my youth into adulthood! Consistent is the term I would use for the quality, atmosphere, and price. Of course, inflation has happened to everyone but they compensate with good portions to balance it out! The drink menu is full of tasty treats and they will even let you experiment on occasion with the margarita recipes! Great for lunch, dinner, family special occasions or just hanging with friends! FYI- the valet service is cash tip only.

Ate there for a pre food show dinner. Was not sure what to expect...was blown away with how good the food was. Brisket enchiladas were superb and the best Spanish rice I have ever eaten. 10/10 would eat there again. Plus there was valet parking and that made the night.

Mia s has an unassuming presence, with excellent service and incredibly delicious food! I enjoyed beef and cheese quesadillas with guac, sour cream, and rice and refried beans, along with brisket taco on the side.

This place is the best. It s og tex mex and is the best place in Dallas to get brisket tacos. It comes with a meat Au jus to dip the taco in and you won t regret it. The service is always quick, and very friendly. We are never disappointed when we make the trip over to Mia s. Tea, chicken, tortilla soup, and the appetizer platter were the perfect amount of food! Can t wait to go back.

Mia s is a must stop for Te-Mex on Lemmon Ave. Must try the brisket tacos on flour tortillas - best in DFW. Fajitas and margs are outstanding. Service is quick and they never let you run out of chips&salsa. Large menu to pick from. Always busy with small parking lot. Valet available. Parking: Small parking lot, but valet available
