You need to call the Law Offices of Nick Nemeth if you re ever on the receiving end of any nasty IRS correspondence. He didn t try to sell me his services. He instead told me my best solution during the free consultation. It was something I could do myself. Make sure to be honest and provide as much information as possible so he can make the best recommendation. We have work to do but after talking to Nick, I know the light at the end of the tunnel isn t a train.

I needed help with the IRS. It was during a the time of Covid and after when the IRS was low on staff and made many posting errors. Not only did Jamie and her whole team help me, words are not adequate on how much they did. They care! Hands down! They battled and assisted me with the IRS with misposted payments by the IRS over and over, which made my account a mess. They helped me get a payment plan together and worked to get penalty and interest removed. I couldnt be more grateful for all the work they did. The IRS made it harder than it had to be but they didnt give up. That was a huge mistake that I made, and I wish that I would have called them from the beginning of the audit. I am long overdue to thank the entire staff at the Law Office of Nick Nemeth. This journey I have been on started well over 10 years ago. I made some bad choices before I sought help from Nick. I chose a tax resolution firm out of state and after years of nothing to show except precious money going to their retainer fees I decided to reach out to Nicks office. Wish I would have done that from the start. I signed the POA and they took charge and got my personal taxes completely down to zero owed. Not bad, since the irs claimed that I owed 7 figures. Once that was done, they jumped on the issue with 941 taxes I could not pay when my business was going under. They got me on a 12 month payment plan of 1,200 a month for a year on a liability of over 6 figures. They have been a real life savior for me and my family. Been able to get back on my feet and have a good outlook for what the future brings. If you have any doubts about hiring them to resolve your irs problems, my experience with them gives me the ability to tell you to hire them, quickly get what they needed and your life will get better. Worked with Joseph on the Nick Nemeth team and he is an absolute Rockstar! We had 2 years of terrible tax filling that we needed fixing before IRS came after us! I was being audited for two calendar years. I paid my accountant a retainer to handle what should have been a simple resolution. My account got sick and never filed. Although she said she was handling it never did. I was at a loss. With 5 days left to file a protest and file for tax court I was referred the the Law Offices of Nick Nemeth. They quickly filed necessary documents to keep my case current. And eventually resolved my case resulting in me owing the IRS $0.00. Before hiring NN I was miserable. We needed help in correctly a return from 2019 that was causing all kinds of havoc. While I was warned it would take a good stretch to get this all completed, I was kept informed along the way, the whole time. In the end, the IRS accepted our correction and we were able to move forward. The Law Offices of Nick Nemeth have very friendly staff and worked diligently to help us submit the correct information. I called to see if they could help reduce some penalties and fees. The person I spoke with told me it might be counterproductive for them to take my case since their feels would likely equal the amount of penalty/interest abatement. I decided to pass on moving forward but was so happy to hear a legal team, or any business for that matter, who has that much integrity. I feel most others would likely try to take my money anyway. I had an incompetent tax preparer, who also ignored several notices from the IRS, which in the end resulted in a lien on my property. I did not know what to do and an attorney friend recommended that I contact the Nick Nemeth Law Offices. I met with Jamie Flores and Ivan Nalbantov in December 2021 for a free consultation, and right away was impressed by their thorough examination of my paperwork and extensive knowledge of IRS tax laws. I felt not pressured and appreciated their advice and in the end decided that I would pursue resolving the issue by myself. I paid the IRS Civil Penalty and, as recommended also submitted a letter to the IRS requesting a refund and explaining what happened. I am glad to report that my persistence finally paid off. My case took two years to resolve and I finally received a full abatement/refund check from the IRS in December 2023. They do a good job of using scare tactics to get you use them. Brought in the office manager and another attorney and flat out said that the IRS is going to take my home, etc. if I dont pay and that it will cost me $3k to use them. I went to a CPA and he thoroughly went through all my paperwork (which I provided to Nick Nemeth and his team) and he immediately identified the issue. We were able to amend our 2018 tax return and get it dropped. Glad I got a 2nd opinion on this.

Mr. Nemeth is a perfect professional: he assessed my situation with machine-like precision, a detached perspective and tone, and advised promptly. I sought his advice about perceived fraud by a 3rd party interested in bankrupting me, a poor Texas teacher, after I became a whistleblower re. human trafficking by military contractors in Washington D.C. (seen while I was a language expert); the issue involved my military veteran family s unique case of victimization and forced separation by the guilty military contractors in their well-equipped attempts to cover up their crimes. I came to this office with a crisis and considered them because of the positive reviews. The first person I spoke to on the phone made me feel heard which gave me a bit relief with my sensitive situation. The second person I spoke for consultation, spoke too fast, with jargon I couldnt understand and rushed me when I would ask for clarity. I felt like I was spoken to in a condescending way. I hate coming across an attorney that attempts to speak to a possible client like their dumb. I came becasue I have no knowledge of what Im dealing with, not to be spoken to like Im dumb... When I worked with one of his attorneys, Eric B, I was just as pleased. All of the staff there are nice and very helpful. I wish I hadnt waited so long to get help with my issue. The offices of Nick Nemeth are the embodiment of professionalism and follow through from the first day of service to the very last. We found ourselves with a massive tax debt we were not able to pay at one time and our checks had been garnished as well as our bank accounts frozen and depleted. This has by far been one of the most stress-free experiences considering the circumstances. if you are having tax issues this firm should be your first call. UNBELIEVEABLE!!!! I had some questions about the status of my account with the IRS that the Nemeth Law firm had filed for me 2 years earlier and closed the case. I called to talk to the associate that had handled my case to find out that he was no longer with the firm, but was put in touch with Andrew Aleman at the firm. After i explained my concerns with my case Andrew did some research to help me with finding out answers to my questions with the IRS. Not only did he do the research, but went as far as after trying to contact an agent with the IRS numerous times was finally able to put together a conference between all 3 of us. After the conference call all of my questions were answered. Now mind you that Andrew and the Nemeth Law firm did all this work after my case had been closed for 2 years with absolutely no charge to me. Not only did they help me get answers with my case Andrew made me feel like he truly cared about my questions and needs. My wife and I had an IRS issue and reached out to Nick Nemeths office to consult. The office reached back out to us within 24 hours and we were able to get a consultation within the next day. We had the free consultation with Jamie Flores, who was very kind and patient as we explained our situation and she provided us with a ton of insight that is going to be helpful moving forward. She was very candid and, while their law firm doesnt specialize in our particular situation, was able to give us a referral to a law firm that does and made us feel much more comfortable about our situation. If we ever need a tax lawyer in Dallas in the future, this will be the first firm we look to!

I would not recommend Nick Nameth. I had a consultation with him. Not compassionate and boardering on rude. He made me feel worse about my situation rather than better. He scared me to death and then offered a payment plan that if I could not meet then they would withdraw. I am now getting things from him in the mail every week about how I need to hire his firm and not wait until my situation gets worse. You will be a number unless you have thousands to spend with him.Lastly, he said he has been an attorney for 20 years and knows the IRS. Why does he only have 27 reviews after 20 years. Either they keep the ones they like and delete the rest.

I was scared of the IRS coming after me for 5 years. I was always stressed out over it. I kept hearing Nick on the Radio, so I thought I would give him a call. I scheduled an Appointment with him. He put my mind at ease. We settled on a price I thought was fair. It ended up not being as bad as we thought. They hadn t tried to go after me at that time. So Nick got it all fixed up. We owed the IRS a tax debt we could not even possibly begin to pay. We had tried dealing with the IRS directly and had talked with another attorney and had been given a dire picture of what would ensue, and were more confused and fearful than when we started. We walked into The Law Offices of Nick Nemeth full of fear and trepidation, not knowing what to expect. The front desk staff were relaxed and professional, and assured us that if anybody could help us, it would be Nick Nemeth. Nick walked into the conference room and was confident and friendly. After talking with us at length and reviewing our files, he told us that we qualified to obtain the rare and coveted Offer in Compromise, which would, if approved by the IRS, result in a one-time payment of a small fraction of our tax debt. We met with Brittney, our case manager, who clearly explained what we would need to do, and that we would be working with Brad and Elizabeth as well. All three were readily available to communicate with us via telephone or email and met with us in person as needed. They helped us complete all the necessary documentation for submission to the IRS, and were very reassuring during the long wait for the IRS to come to a decision. Much to our surprise and delight, our Offer in Compromise was accepted by the IRS, reducing our tax debt from well over $100,000 to just over $1,300! This would never have happened without the assistance and knowledge of Nick Nemeth, Elizabeth, Brittney, Brad, and the other staff of Nick s law office. We would highly recommend retaining their services to anybody who feels overwhelmed and hopeless due to a huge tax debt. Don t give up! Nick was not our first foray into this, the previous others had either just stolen our money or taken our money and closed their business without any refund, and we were left hanging. The payment terms up front were very helpful and the communication was always prompt. The most important item we want to make clear was the level of commitment and services provided on the firms part never dwindled from the beginning to the end, long, long after the payments were made by us. Making a call to Nick Nemeth was the best decision I ever made. After years of fighting the IRS myself and getting deeper and deeper into debt with interest adding up to more than I owed to start with I had to do something. Nicks office got the IRS to settle with me for 10% of what they said I owed. Although it took a little over a year it was worth it in the long run. Elizabeth is in my opinion one of the best employees that Nick has. She stayed in touch with me and explained everything every step of the way. I totally recommend them to help with IRS issues. We enjoyed working with Nick and his staff. They are very professional, courteous and timely. The main thing I appreciate about Nick is that he will tell you upfront whether or not he can help you. While our situation was unique to us--we were not able to get much relief from the IRS. However, Nick was able to help us manage our way through the extremely untimely, inefficient, and non-compassionate IRS. We are very thankful for Nicks help with this process. There is no way we would have been able to figure out the IRS process on our own. If you think you can do it on your own--good luck--but I would recommend giving Nick a call.

After getting a garnishment letter from the IRS, I reached out to Mr Nameth. After a personal consultation by phone (I was on the east coast sweating bullets), he put a stop the same day to the garnishment. Other than some routine financials and consultations with his staff, I had to do nothing. His staff is five star as well as they communicated me regularly on where my case stood. I believe Mr Nameth named my case Tap Dance till December and sure enough, my case of 30K+ was dismissed 100 percent in December. Great team to work with and I highly recommend.

I personally would not recommend. and will never use their service again. My first conversation he told me I couldnt win the Appeal for Offer & Compromise and should offer more money. Long story short I won the appeal through work I did mostly myself. First visit he told me he wouldnt look at my case until I put up a least 1/2 the money. First visit wasnt free as advertised, I was charged in increments even the time it took to fill out his agreement forms. Even charged for an email solicitation from girl in his office wanting to do my taxes. Typical arrogant lawyer with a license to scalp.

It was a very rainy day and, after driving several hundred miles, I finally made it home and planned on having a warm meal and, maybe, watching a little television. But before doing so, I went outside to check the days mail. The usual array of junk mail, with a few bills mixed in, and... is that what I think it is? Yes, it was a letter from the IRS. My heart sank. Oh well, I better open it and see what they want. It was worse than expected. They wanted to review my tax records from a few years prior. Yes, I was being audited! Fortunately, I had about a month before I had to meet with the agent. After doing extensive research online, the consensus was that I should not meet with the IRS without adequate representation. Luckily, I had heard Nick Nemeths advertisements on ESPN radio. I decided to meet with one of his associates and it was one of the best decisions that I couldve made. He was very professional and explained the audit process, along with what I could expect. (Heretofore, I had no idea that an audit could sometimes take a year or more.) I hired Nicks firm and it was like a weight was lifted off my shoulders. The IRS had to meet with me at his office - not my home or workplace. They also had to deal only with the law office (after the initial interview) so I didnt have to worry about being taken advantage of - or saying the wrong thing. In the end, everything worked out well and the process only lasted a couple of months. I especially liked dealing with the Nemeths law office because it is locally owned and within a short drive from my home. I promise that you wont be disappointed if you use Nicks services. For me, it was money well spent.
