My experience at The Goat was absolutely lovely. The food was delicious and fresh, with creative dishes that surprised my palate. The romantic and elegant atmosphere created an intimate and cozy atmosphere, perfect for a special date. The service was exceptional, with friendly and attentive staff who made sure our experience was unforgettable. I recently dined at The Goat, and it was an exceptional experience! The ratatouille was bursting with fresh flavors and perfectly cooked vegetables truly a standout dish. The mashed potatoes on the side were creamy and indulgent, complementing the ratatouille beautifully. Props to our server recommending it, thank you Rudy! Our bartender, Mel, was a highlight of the evening. She crafted the most amazing Lost Duck drink, a perfect blend of flavors that left us wanting more. Mels knowledge and passion for mixology really shone through, making our evening even more enjoyable. Overall, The Goat delivers a fantastic dining experience with delicious food and outstanding service. Highly recommend going to visit!!

I recently dined at The Goat Restaurant and Lounge, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, with stylish decor that perfectly balances modern elegance and cozy charm. The service was top-notch; our server was attentive without being intrusive, and he provided excellent recommendations from the menu. Speaking of the menu, the food was simply phenomenal! I ordered the grilled lamb chops, which were perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. My dining companion couldnt stop raving about the chicken kebabs-so fresh and delicious! We also indulged in a couple of their signature cocktails, which were creative and expertly crafted. The mixologist clearly knows their stuff! To top it all off, the live music added a fantastic touch to the evening, enhancing the already vibrant atmosphere. Overall, The Goat exceeded all my expectations. I cant wait to return and explore more of their incredible menu! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great night out!

Brought my friends for a nice night out on a Friday. Had a drink at the bar with Patrick, who shook up a fantastic martini as well as their Sicilian Dreams cocktail (which has bubbles in AND ON it). The food was phenomenal. Deziray was able to inform us of our gluten-free options. My friends enjoyed the Baked Goat Cheese, but the Scallop and Mushroom Risotto was TO.DIE.FOR. I wanna come back for the DJs and electric violinist one day! Vegetarian options: The Ratatouille, Mediterranean flatbread, baked goat cheese, falafel and truffle pomme frites Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free

My birthday dinner here was a disaster. With a party of ten and a bill of $628, I expected a celebration, not the worst dining experience of my life. 1. Service: Our server was incredibly rude and dismissive. From the start, she rushed us through our ordering process, insisting we order appetizers and entrées separately without any prior communication. Throughout our meal, we were checked on only twice. When *ONE* guest asked for her check to be separated, the server snapped, YOU were TOLD you can only separate it FOUR ways ONLY. It was shocking and left us feeling unwelcome, as if we were an inconvenience rather than guests. 2. Food: The Euro-Mediterranean menu was bland and overpriced. The chicken kebab was served with unseasoned vegetables, plain rice, and pita with barely any hummus. 3. Atmosphere: The ambiance was dull and uninspiring, and even with help from another party s camera light, we couldn t get decent photos. Overall, this restaurant failed in every way, ruining my birthday. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere. You deserve better. Parking: Free parking in garage but you have to drive around valet, who blocks the entrance. Valet is $7.

Lighting was terrible!! (No photo ops in there at all) Put saffron in your rice. Server was rude, similar to what the comments said. $30 for dry chicken, no seasoning on veggies (not even salt) white rice (really? Put saffron), but garlic sauce was good!! Just another dude wanting to open a high scale restaurant with minimal knowledge. Goes around asking people how their food is but obviously disregards any of the comments about actual problems in the restaurant aka why that girl still working there. 5 stars to the talented violinist.

This place has more of a sports bar/dance club feel. They made me sign an agreement on OpenTable for dress code, which was unnecessary because there were people wearing shorts and hats so we felt overdressed. The service and food was decent. We ordered dynamite shrimp, lobster, hummus, pita, fried goat, cheese, falafel and everything was good. Our group had chicken and Kafta kebabs and they were OK. The pistachio ice cream was amazing. The level of noise is really high and it is the dance music so it s hard for us to hear each other. Vegetarian options: Rigatoni, falafel, flat bread

The atmosphere at The GOAT is both stylish and welcoming, blending modern decor with a cozy ambiance. Upon being seated, we were greeted by our waitress, Cameron, who provided outstanding service throughout the evening. Her warm personality and extensive knowledge of the menu made our first experience with Mediterranean cuisine both enjoyable and memorable. The standout dish of the night was the Sicilian Dreams. The flavors were vibrant and beautifully balanced, showcasing the best of what Mediterranean cuisine has to offer. We also enjoyed a creative selection of bubble cocktails that added a fun and refreshing element to our meal. The Dynamic Shrimp appetizer was another highlight perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The GOAT in Dallas exceeded my expectations. From the excellent service to the flavorful dishes, it was a fantastic introduction to Mediterranean cuisine. Whether you re a local or just visiting, The GOAT is a must-try for anyone looking to enjoy a top-notch dining experience in Dallas. ** Im an emoji Google local guide in DFW areas if you want more reviews, dont forget to follow my account. @chloechoe_INC **

Scallops and Mushrooms Risotto 7/10 this was good. Brussel Sprouts where crispy but not seasoned. Creme Burlee- -8/10 this was the worst I ever had. Its grainy and overcooked. The food was great but our waitress was horrible! We went to celebrate our anniversary so we figured we give this new place GOAT a try. Dominique just seems miserable and like she does not want to be there. She was not friendly, very dismissive, and had a bunch of sarcastic remarks. One of them in which she embarrassed herself is when she brought out our dessert and I thought there was only 1 spoon, I asked for another spoon but then we noticed there was a 2nd spoon under the first spoon, so I said actually we re good . She then spewed out YOU WANT 3 SPOONS, and then angrily walked away. We weren t going to lower ourselves to play in the mud with her, so we didn t respond to any of sarcastic remarks and we refuse to be made uncomfortable. We even tipped her 20% to maybe bring some good energy into shift, but I don t plan on returning. Because we are big on service. The food and drinks came out quick and each item tasted great. Dominique needs to maybe change professions, because her personality does not align with good, great, or superior service. She has more of a fast food personality and should not be serving in a place where the bill is $200. We had 4 drinks, 2 appetizers, main courses, and dessert. We like spending money and would have stayed for the lounge and spent a lot more if she was at-least decent to us and she would have made a way bigger tip. I work in a profession where I have a lot of colleagues and customers that are always looking for a new great place to go out and enjoy and I will not be recommending this place or returning. Here s my philosophy The bill needs to match the service . The bill could be $1000 as long as the service equates. After service, great tasting food and drinks make us return. Now that was some $200 Popeyes service lol. Oh and somebody tell the host to smile, bad vibes running through that place.

I loved dining at the The GOAT in Vickory Park tonight! The atmosphere was upbeat and fun & the decor is unique & gorgeous. I started out sipping on a delicious specialty cocktail, The Lost Duck, that was amazing! I also ordered Goat Baked Cheese topped with mango puree and toasted almonds. It was served with Baguette slices. It melted in my mouth, one of the best appetizers I ve ever had! My entree was Scallops served over Mushroom Risotto and brussel sprout medley. This was well prepared & so delicious! Finally, I followed this with the best Key Lime Pie I ve ever had it was exquisite!! Our waitress was friendly, sweet, and prompt with our food and drink. The prices were great, and the overall dining experience was amazing. Everyone in my party thought that every menu item we enjoyed was done to perfection, including the steaks, Kibbe meatballs, salads, sides, and the specialty made desserts, and top notch kraft cocktails. Everyone needs to get out and try The Goat!!

Decided to have a little fun on this lovely summer Thursday! Been hearing a little chatter about The Goat from social media and a few friends of friends so I took my homie here to get a BIG dinner. I had the tomahawk steak and it was divine. Perfectly cooked, well seasoned, juicy, and huge! My friend had the burger and it looked amazing!! The lobster starter was so flavorful, just wish it was a little bigger portioned. Lastly the chocolate desert was scrumptious and full of really faintly sweet chocolate and toffee. Best light desert out there. The waitresses were dolls. And the vibe was really chill yet clubby. Great experience overall! Parking: Enough spots for anyone and everyone

Food was excellent the attention our group received was great and the ambiance was very nice. We had a nice lunch. Which Im thinking has a lot to with the service. Most restaurant and lounges in Dallas are busy, packed and rushed at dinner time. I can see this being a new favorite for our monthly team luncheons. I would recommend and encourage those who have had a previous negative experience go back for lunch. Try them out. Ill be back for sure. The tropical chicken was very good. Eight of us went for brunch to celebrate a friends birthday. We were seated upstairs in a very nice area. The waiter was very accommodating even though it was obvious they were understaffed. He made our drinks because no bartender was visible at the upstairs bar. He had to go downstairs several times to complete our drink orders. When there was an issue with one of the meals being too salty, it was replaced and an apology was issued. I enjoyed my meal and my mimosas. The problems arose when greater time elapsed between being checked and getting the additional items we requested. It took longer than expected to get our checks and cash out. I do not blame the wait staff I blame management. Additionally, we were all blind-sighted by the parking situation. There is a sign at the entrance to the parking garage that states parking is free with validation. There is no time limit mentioned on the sign. I was there for approximately 2 hours and 38 minutes. I took my parking ticket to the hostess to get validated. I was still charged $27 to exit the parking garage, which I find to be absolutely ridiculous!

Went to my friends birthday brunch were seated upstairs, which seem to impact service. The waiter was attentive at first, he had to make all of the drinks but had to keep going downstairs to get what he needed to make Mimosas. After a couple of reminders, the 2 other members of the party got the Shot and the coffee. We ordered and got our food, and we had to ask multiple times for water refills, which we got one. The food was good, one plate was sent back, and one had to be remade. Once it was time to leave, the waiter disappeared for over 20 minutes. We had to ask for our checks 3 different times in total. Once that ordeal was over, we went to have a parking validated per the restaurants own signage and still ended paying $27.00 felt very bait and switch to me. Will not go back. There are many other restaurants on par if not better to spend over $50 on brunch.

Nice atmosphere, very slow service, and extremely salty food. I went for brunch with a group of friends for a birthday. The service was very slow. Drinks took almost 20 minutes, asked several times for water refill only happened once. Took about 30 mins to take our food order after waiting the 20 mins for our drinks. I ordered the Salmon BLT, now first let me say I looked at the menu before we even got there and I was dead set on ordering it. Well it was like pouring a salt shaker in my mouth. I sent it back and the manager did apologize and agreed it was overly salty. It took a very long time to get our checks after we asked for them. Upon leaving we got our parking tickets validated as there is a large sign that they validate parking. When leaving the parking garage we found out that the validation is only good for 2.5hrs. Which was news to all of us. We each were over that time by 2-3 minutes and had to pay $27 for parking! Very disappointed! My experience was not a good one to say the least. Will not go back!

The food was good. After one person in our party received a dish that was overly salty, they kitchen remedied it and apologized. The staff we interacted with was nice. However, the wait time for everything was extremely long. It took about 15 minutes before the waiter took our drink, and it took about the same amount of time to get our drinks. The bar didn t seem stocked, and it looked like our waiter was our bartender as It took about 30 minutes before our food order was taken. The food came out relatively quick, but it took a good 20 minutes to get our checks after we asked for them. This led to us all paying $27 for parking (per car). The restaurant validates, but it only covers 2.5 hours. We were over the 2.5 hours by 2 minutes and was charged $27. Had the service not been so slow, that wouldn t have been an issue, and our experience would ve been better. Not sure if they were short staffed or had new staff, but our wait times should not have been that long!

We stumbled upon this gem and was blown away. Our first time it was 10/10 the drinks were good the food was fantastic. We decided to tell her family and friends about the place and the following weekend decided to go back as an actual date night. Prior to me setting our date I reviewed to see if I needed reservations by going on the website and noticed every 15 minutes was available so it did not make sense to make a reservation b/c they were available for seating up until about 11pm. and we would have been there in about 45 minutes so I doubt 30+ reservations times would have been booked. The 2 of us arrived and asked for a table for 2 for the hostess/hostesses tell us they did not have any tables available. I scanned the room and noticed over 1/2 of the downstairs tables were empty. I requested if we could have some of the empty tables. She proceeded to say they were all booked. However, we can go to the bar and sit there. It was noticeably full at the 1st level bar so we proceeded to walk upstairs. That is when we noticed 2 managers were observing the entire situation. Were upstairs and to no avail there are not seats and there were plenty of seating upstairs. Before walking completely downstairs I decided to go online to see if there were any reservations available. Guess what every 15 minutes there was available seating. I reserved a table for 2. Proceeded to walk downstairs and informed the ladies we now have a reservation. She looked at the tablet and said ok we can sit you. I did not want to cause a spectacle so while she walked us to one of the tables that was available when we first walked in I asked her. Why did she say all of the tables were booked when I was able to book online. She did not have a rebuttal. Fast Forward the 2 supervisors we observed upstairs did not acknowledge or apologize for what took place but however; went to every table downstairs checking on their experience. They did not check on us 1 time nor did they apologize. I would not recommend this place at all to anyone. We had to recant our story to our family and friends to tell them do not go to the restaurant b/c at the end of the day presentable well dressed people of our decent are not welcome. So we can always find us somewhere else to go. Stay away!!!!!! No one would appreciate being treated like this. I also hope the 2 managers would read this b/c I am sure they would remember who we are but then again they probably carry themselves in this distasteful, lack of character manner often. Thank you but no Thank you! Find somewhere else to go. We thought we found a gem but this was really a joke!!!

They had no blinds on the large windows, making it difficult for everybody to sit comfortably. Apart from this, everything was great! I will definitely give it a try again. Parking: One can park in the garage located in the same building and the restaurant does the ticket validation.

We had an incredible dining experience! The service was top-notch, with our servers offering fantastic recommendations. The unique cocktails were a highlight, especially the Cool as a Cucumber and Garden of Temptations. For appetizers, we loved the filet bites and dynamite shrimp. The basil pesto rigatoni and scallops and mushroom risotto were absolutely delicious, and we ended our meal with the decadent Something Chocolate. The vibe and atmosphere were perfect, making it a night to remember. Highly recommend!

This was the worst dining experience I ve had, maybe ever. I came to the GOAT for a birthday dinner (14 people). When we arrived, the table was not ready for some time. Once we were seated, the drinks were ordered pretty quickly & that was the last time the service was decent. The food orders came out at different times & one couple didn t receive their steaks for almost 30-40 minutes after everyone else s food arrived. One of the steaks received was very small & the waiters did bring out another one at no charge, so that was nice (see photo). After we finished dinner, we had to run around the restaurant asking for water refills & small plates for the birthday cake we brought (for the birthday party). This is because our waitress disappeared for about an hour & one of the party guests had to find a jug of water to give us refills. During all of this, there were dancers behind us (which was fine), but the manager came out several time to check on them, but never once asked if we were doing well. This was on a Saturday night & the place was mainly empty & several waitresses were standing around on their phones. I have truly never had a dining experience like this & I m not sure how this place is being operated. Overall, the experience is not one I d come back for & the food is just mediocre + overpriced. 1 pro: The drink with the rubber duck is cute.

Not a pleasant experience and not what we expected. The food was not high quality, especially not for what we paid. The burger was plain and dry with a bun that was thick and crumbly. Fries served on the side with no ketchup, not even upon request. Also no greens on the burger. The beet and goat cheese salad was overwhelmingly simple. 99% wilted bagged salad mixed it seems. The service was highly lacking too, sadly. Maybe it was because we were a large enough party that the server could automatically charge us for tip, or maybe it s an every table issue. But we were not properly taken care of which is a shame. It was not a busy night at all. Very disappointed and wish things were different.

Most food was good but service was horrible. Went for a bday party w 8 guests, which was disclosed on reservation and when we walked in. Pros: Majority of food was great flavor (minus shrimp flatbread) Valet parking Allowed us to bring in a GF dessert for the bday girl bc they did not offer one on menu. Cons: Our waitress was so rude. Didn t even introduce herself, didn t acknowledge the bday, would only take part of the table s drinks orders while not checking on others that had empty drinks (busser even noticed and proactively went to get her to take our drink order) At the end of the night was slamming drinks on the table and sliding them over to us (no joke). Final straw was the dessert cupcake that we brought in, she brought it out in the box and slammed it in front of the bday girl and walked away. Couldn t even put it on a plate for her. Manager stopped by to ask how everything was and no joke, turned around to walk away before anyone could even answer him. Finally the waitress brought the check when we weren t event done (90 mins into us being there, when hostess stated we would have table for 3hrs) and didn t informed us that gratuity was included. Place stated had dancers/entertainment, we were there from 8-9:30 and didn t see anything. Would have stayed later but again, we were rushed out when half the tables were open. Not sure why you wouldn t want a larger check, but clearly she did not want to be there and had zero interest in contributing to a great bday experience.

Took my wife here 5/10/2024 to celebrate our 21st anniversary. We chose this place because from the description it seemed to be an upscale restaurant and bar. Boy were we duped, first we arrived and we greeted by valet, which was nice and probably the highlight of the evening. We had reservations but we were asked to go to the bar and wait, no biggie. We ordered drinks and they were decent but for the price I wasnt impressed at all. Finally they come to get us seated and Im expecting to be seated downstairs because the first floor was more upscale and my wife and I were dressed for the occasion. Unfortunately we were escorted upstairs to a bar-like area with a DJ and a few girls dancing in unison to hip-hop music. Not the vibe I was looking for but I didnt complain. That was, until we ordered what we thought were going to be appetizers. We ordered the steak bites and the dynamite shrimp. We were supremely underwhelmed by both the plating of the appetizers and the quality. So much so that we decided to end our dining experience prematurely. I will be putting this establishment on the do not return list, due to poor execution of what seemed to be a great concept on paper. If you find this place to be good after reading this review Im happy for you but for my wife and I who are constantly on the search for restaurants that deliver what they promise this one doesnt deliver on any level.

I would say I overall had a pretty mid experience here. The service was not very good but that could ve just been our server. She did not seem knowledgeable at all about the menu and couldn t answer some of my questions about certain items. I was under the impression that this establishment was upscale but some of the crowd in the upstairs area where I was sitting seemed a bit vulgar. They were yelling across the restaurant and this ruined the experience for my mother and I. The food was maybe like a 7/10. Not amazing but not bad at all. I would recommend the rigatoni dish and the eggplant. Overall I would not come here again though.

This has to be one of the worst dining experience Ive ever had. Service was terrible, food was gross. My friends and I were so excited to try this place as it was the grand opening. I had friends visiting from out of town and even made reservations for the special occasion. Shout out to ROB for being an amazing bouncer/security. 1.) As we were seated, it took the server more than 15 minutes to greet us. And the lounge was not busy at all. Reservation was at 10PM. The hostess didnt check on us either and was just standing over the podium. 2.) Our server didnt say hi how are yall, is it your first time etc.. first thing that came out of her mouth was Do yall want water? And we had to tell her were ready to order. Still no introduction or explanation of the menu or welcoming us. This is not how you treat customers yet alone if it was a grand opening weekend 3.) We ordered a couple of appetizers for the table, truffle fries, steak bites and dynamite shrimp. It was okay. At least it was seasoned. The grossest food was the steak, the ribeye. It didnt have any seasoning on it and tasted bland. It was disgusting. We felt like we were back in high school eating Applebees with the quality. 4.) We sent the steak back and when it returned it just turned out to be salty and we ordered a sauce with it and it never returned with the steak. The server never returned either to check on us til it was time for us to just go ahead and close out. 5.) The executive chef went out and took a peek at our table but never talked to us. To add on, I believe one of the managers talked to us and asked how we were doing and I said no, we had to take the steak back and the excuse was oh it is just grand opening and we still have some stuff to address and fix... 6.) we werent compensated or discounted for anything which is fine but come on. Advertising as a luxury brand type of lounge is ridiculous. 7.) Server didnt say goodbye or anything either. Waters were not refilled and plates were not removed from the appetizers. 8.) overall rating experience is a 0/5!

So im kinda picky on what I like. I gave him an idea of what I liked and he made it happen. That was one of things I liked most honestly, the service. The chef came to our table personally asking us how we would like our steak. On the entertainment, The violinist they had was a whole experience. He had us up and dancing having a great time. The Goat is a good chill spot for a date night, pre-game to a Stars/Mavs game, or just kick it. We had our anniversary dinner here and really enjoyed the atmosphere and service. The food was average at best. The rib-eye was a bit over cooked and lacked flavor. The salmon was cooked perfectly but was bland. There were only 4 options for sides, and the truffle fries seemed like the best option, and they were pretty good! The dynamite shrimp were good also. The best part of our time here was their version of a smoked old fashion called Goated (I substituted my choice of whiskey to Woodford). I will come back just for that drink . Definitely my top 3 old fashions in the DFW area! Overall, its a good location to have a great time with family and/or friends.

So wanted to like this place . Staff is friendly, atmosphere dynamic. Cocktails good. The falafel appetizer had a great crust but was bland. We told our waiter when he asked about allergies and food restrictions, that my husband is vegan so we were surprised when the ratatouille came out with cheese. This wasn t listed as an ingredient on the menu and the dish came out completely covered. I ordered the filet medium rare but it came out medium to medium plus. It was however, very tender with a great crust as well. Our server never made a comment about the oozing cheese pushed out of the skillet onto the table or the overcooked steak despite coming to the table three times while we ate the main course. The Brussels sprouts were under seasoned and meh. We didn t dare dessert.

A friend suggested we try this place after we saw it online and unfortunately, we had a less than desirable experience. After calling to make sure we were able to have dinner/the dining room was open, we were told the kitchen was open until midnight to arrive and find out that it actually closed at 11. Though we understood, it was the treatment my friend received that is impacting this rating. Out of everyone in the restaurant, management decided to approach him and tell him that he had to take off his sweatshirt (it was less than 60° out at the time and we were next to a window so it was a little cold). Of course as a guest, we are expected to adhere to a dress code when at a restaurant, however, theres no dress code here/listed and we saw multiple people dressed in a similar way who were not approached at their table. Regardless of how the food tasted, I have no desire to come back to somewhere that doesnt treat their patrons equally because we were then practically rushed out of the restaurant and could barely enjoy our meal. I expect better as a respectful, paying customer (who has worked in food service nonetheless) and I am disappointed with how my guest was treated tonight.
