I greatly appreciate The Lumen Room accommodating our large family photo shoot with no questions (15 ppl) - the space was top tier, with many props to utilize within the space. Thank you to the Lumen staff member who was available when I had questions, including allowing the family to utilize another room to get dressed. Had a great experience today! I ve photographed in multiple studios in Dallas, and I must say that the cleanliness, personal touch w/our name on the door and easy access was great! The owner was literally a text away, and offered quick feedback when needed. I will definitely book again and advise you to do the same if you re looking for a great studio to capture your next milestone or family photos.

We used the Home studio for a newborn/family shoot. This place is absolutely disgusting and very unsanitary. There s no staff monitoring either. The bed had hair, scuffs, and crumbs all over it, and the crib had pee on it. Please steer away and find another studio in the area. This place is very misleading and wish i would have not gone/paid for this service.

This place never disappoints. They have two separate studio rooms with two different vibes so you can have your pick. They have several furniture and prop options to suit your needs. Both studios have one full wall of windows. I believe one faces the east and one faces the west so you can choose which lighting meets your needs. They are on the third floor, however, there is an elevator for you and your clients. There are bathrooms on the same floor, however, the studios are HUGE with movable divider/walls that you can use to change behind if youd rather not go back and forth. There is parking on the street in front of the building as well as a lot on the side of the building. They have several DFW locations if Dallas isnt your cup of tea. You can view all of the locations on their website to see what each of the studios looks like and what furniture/props they have. I dont know how often they change the furniture/props out though. You can also book directly online which is a huge convenience especially if you charge your client the studio fee. They can book directly. Make sure to check out all of their locations.

I ve used the Lumen Room for multiple projects over the years. They have everything you need from furniture to backdrops! I just had a big shoot with up to 15 people and we all fit comfortably. The owners are nice and accommodating. My favorite studio in dfw!

We shot at the Dallas location-Its a great location for photography but not so much for video shoots. We recorded a video there that we couldnt use due to the sound of the AC everytime it came on. So it ended up being waste for us since we couldnt use anything we shot. Like I said great location for photos, it would be nice if the lighting was adjustable in the spaces also. If its gloomy outside you may want to bring your own lighting. If its bright and sun y outside you wont have any issues for your shots.

Amazing Studio!!! We had my daughters senior photoshoot here and everything about it was perfect! The natural lighting, the props, the back drops.... it was all perfect. Hands down the best, most flexible photo/video/event studio in Dallas! They work hard to offer a variety of furnishings and backdrops that are always being updated for new and fresh looks. I have been a professional photographer for over 11 years and could not recommend a better locations in and around Dallas. Not to mention, my clients love all of the options offered. I threw an intimate wedding in Lumen Room Dallas: Lifestyle and it was the best decision ever (pre-COVID)! The bride had very specific requests and with every one we threw at them, Xavier and Hilary went above and beyond to accommodate and made it a seamless experience. If we had to do it all over again, we d still choose the Lumen Room, NO DOUBT. It s the perfect space for a small-medium size event. The room itself was unbeatable too. The lighting was perfect, had an amazing view of the sunset for the ceremony, sound system was on point, ample parking, and the room furniture selection was perfect for the eclectic vibe we wanted (and they keep adding more great pieces). What I m getting at is that this space is amazing, don t sleep on it!!

The bathroom was nice but the price you pay is not worth it at all. Then you pay $25 to park valet. I parked right in front of the door not worth it. I couldn t connect the game or fire stick because the remote didn t work and they couldn t get me another remote. Overpriced

The Lumen Room is seriously amazing! This is the first studio I have shot at in Dallas and I can t recommend it enough. The furniture and props were perfect and versatile enough that you could do a individual, couples or family photo shoot there! A very affordable space, had no issues finding it, parking was great and the man who let us in was very helpful but non-invasive. I am looking forward to shooting here again!

I booked both white and the lifestyle rooms for an elopement ceremony. Both rooms were perfect. The spaces were clean. Hilary was there, she was so sweet. She made sure we had everything we needed, showed us how to set up our own music or the Apple Music they have and she even helped us move some items out of the room to help with the vibe we were going for. Everything was perfect.

This place is perfect for a family photo shoot and/or for your children so you can be in an enclosed area. We have an energetic toddler and it was perfect for her to get to run around and explore while we were between shots. The place has couches, a few props, and different rolling backdrops. There was one backdrop with fake greenery that was falling apart but otherwise everything seemed fairly clean and taken care of. They could have used a bit of a cleanup but overall since we saw lots of dust and stuff on the floor but it was still a pretty good experience. We would come back here if we had another shoot we had to take with family. Pricing is also pretty fair. Parking wasnt too hard on a morning weekday.

Just did my first styled shoot at the Lumen room white and I have to say, I am very impressed with their setup. The space has WiFi, bluetooth speakers for music and even an array of furniture pieces that can be utilized. I loved that I was always able to reach someone about my questions and concerns, I definitely plan on doing another booking very soon!

Its an excellent place for a photo shoot. We had a large family photo session and it was perfect with good natural light. There wasnt much parking but it was doable. You could schedule a time so that you could eat at one of the nearby restaurants and use their parking.

Amazing spaces for photo & video shoots. Natural lighting through huge industrial windows are a big plus. They have many backdrops on rolling casters per request, tables, decorative chairs & couches, and a small speaker for music while you shoot. Beware of this business. Even if you use this company multiple times, they still treat you like a stranger. They don t allow you to park in the parking lot and the studio owner Xavier, was upset that my photographer found her own way in. Also, if you have to cancel for any reason, Hospital, photographer lost camera, car crash, there is no leeway and they don t care. Xavier and his wife will keep your money. NO REFUNDS AT THE LUMEN ROOM. You re required to book again at a date that they allow, not a date of your choice, or you will lose your money forever. If you cannot arrive to your scheduled studio session for any reason, they are holding your money until they allow you to book again at a random way later date. This makes artists have to plan projects around their limited availibity, if they even respond. These business practices are shady and ridiculous.
