called fri never heard back tell tuesday said he was in classes not taking new cases because he was in class and sent me two other attorneys that couldn t help my case was against city of ft worth road department for my injuries he seem like he didn t care.

Doug, has been the worst retained lawyer I have had. Looks like a few years ago he was great but something must have happened since he can no longer care for his clients once he accepts them in. This is horrible at how he is treating people. If you can t follow through then just stop taking on new cases. If it is a case not worth your time let us go to another attorney. These are peoples lives and credit you are playing with and it is completely unacceptable! I have not been able to reach you for over 4 months after several attempts through emails, calls, and texts. I even went to the Addison office and tried to reach you there. I was told no one has seen you there in a while. My daughter is working on college applications and loans and this has caused us some set backs as my credit has dropped quite a bit with all the bills from my accident. The bills you were supposed to have been handling. The biggest issue I have seen with me and other reviews is your lack of communication. I just want to know what s going on to help me fight for what is right. I am ready to put all this behind me but you are making that very difficult. I can only pray that behind the scenes you have been a faithful and honest man doing what s right and in my best interest. However until I know and hear back from you I will continue to reach out and fight!

I retained Doug and the communication has been terrible! Our last conversation ( 2 months ago) was we were settling the claim, here is the amount, and we need to put you and your wife s name on check Cool, but have not received payment, have called and left messages at least 10 times along with emails to follow with no replies. I will be contacting the state soon to make a formal complaint. Stay far away from this firm

I am not asking much, you said everything will be completed last May...August is almost over and I am still waiting for your calls! Please have some humanity like what Ive said if you dont want to call me EMAIL me!

Doug took on my case in early November and I have not heard from him since. Ive reached out several times a week via email and phone calls only to have no response. This is very unprofessional, if you no longer want to have cases its only Professional to let your clients know! I definitely do NOT RECOMMEND!!

I hired Doug back in August of this year. At first he seemed very nice and attentive. But then as time went by he started taking a long time to reply to emails and after having to send multiple emails told me they were going to his spam folder which isn t true if you communicate with an email back and forth. Then after that there was no communication at all. I called and left a message saying that was the last attempt attempt to get him to respond to my email. No response, so I fired him. TO THIS DAY I have yet to receive my case file or a letter of withdrawal of representation. It is clear he is retaliating against me. Without the letter of withdraw of representation I cannot hire another lawyer OR move forward with my lawsuit directly with the opposing parties insurance. This is absolutely outrageous and unprofessional. I can only hope he will choose to do the right thing by sending me my case file and sending the withdrawal letter to the insurance company.

Doug Goyen is my attorney for life time he helped me when no attorney in North Texas helped and HE won my daughters accedent case, he always helped me beyond his Law practice area for more than 15 years. He and his wife Mrs.Goyen are great and real Human. Doug Goyen is the BEST of the BEST attorney.

Mr. Goyen helped me take on my own insurance company, the great and mighty Allstate. My prior firm basically dumped me, with a permanent injury, because the case didn t meet their financial guidelines for a settlement. I was a bicycle rider hit by a car driver at an intersection, and Allstate was the company on BOTH SIDES OF THE CLAIM. My own insurance company tried to throw me under the bus to limit their payout! Without Mr.Goyen s help, I would have been left with NOTHING! I had thousands of dollars in unpaid medical bills, unable to receive treatment to correct the issue. He was unafraid and helped me get the best settlement I could in binding arbitration. It was a modest settlement, but everything got paid. For that alone, I am tremendously thankful!

Doug is a great attorney. He took care of my auto accident claim promptly, and answered any questions I had. I also had one of my hospital bills go into collections for non-payment. I was able to contact Doug a year after the accident, and received a copy of the check the hospital claimed they didnt receive. I highly recommend this guy!

Very professional job handling my accident claim. I had some ER bills, and some visits to my ortho after (and various other bills that kept coming in). I was afraid I was going to get stuck owing money, but Doug Goyen took care of the case and had everything paid, including compensating me for the injury. Great lawyer IMO. I felt like my case was taken care of very well. Thx!!

You want a great lawyer who keeps you informed on whats going on speaks with you personally and gets the job done call Doug Goyen. Ive been in an auto accident before and used David S. Kohm & Associates and the experience was horrible!!!! The staff was rude, i never got any returned phone calls and they never called to let me know what was going on.To top it off my case didnt get settled for 2 yrs and with Mr. Goyen it took about a month. He is excellent & very professional you wont go wrong choosing him!!! Thanks again for all your help Mr. Goyen!
