Uncle Calvin’s Coffeehouse is a not-for-profit, volunteer-run live music venue, presenting concerts nearly every Friday night in the fellowship hall of NorthPark Presbyterian Church in Dallas, TX. Our goal is to bring you the best possible environment for listening to acoustic-based categories like singer/songwriter, folk, americana, roots, blues, bluegrass, world music, with clear, pristine sound, free of smoke, alcohol, and conversation. In addition to the music, we offer fine coffees, teas, juices, desserts, and salty snacks We present concerts on most Friday nights, roughly forty weeks out of the year, from 8pm until approximately 11pm.

My second visit to Uncle Calvins. A small, fairly intimate venue featuring regional talent in the folk music genre. Coffee and dessert available for purchase. Receptive audience. Had a very enjoyable evening. Check Uncle Calvins website for entertainment schedule.

First time...incredible! An oasis of high quality... Everything! Venue, staff (all volunteer), sound, entertainment and coffee and pastries! Was completely entranced and satisfied the whole night! I played Nashvilles Bluebird Cafe in the 90s, and Uncle Calvins is right up there for listening!

This is one of the most wonderful venues for live music in the Ft Worth/Dallas area. They have some of the best performers there with very reasonable snacks and coffee. No booze allowed since this event is held in a large church. You are up close and personal with all the musicians. I dont know of a better place for entertainment on a Friday night.
