Mondays are great here. Jojo Jam and the seven are playing great music as well as helping new artists show their talents during the open mic portions of the show. So far Ive been there 2 Mondays this September and had a great time. The bar tender is a good man and the overall vibe Is a good one.

I attended a show last night and it was amazing! For the first night of JOJO JAM, created by Jodie Ellen, it was a great turnout. The live band played fantastic covers of some of music s greatest hits, with their own much-enjoyed twist. Local artist and vendor Tyrone Montgomery, formerly known as TDashMo, was in charge of the food, and it was awesome. The bar itself was clean, and the restrooms had amazing posters and stickers, so there was no need to bring a magazine. The DJ kept the night grooving by playing hits that complemented the band s era of music and never missed a beat. The JOJO event is a weekly event at the bar, so I look forward to enjoying another night of great music, live performances, and delicious food.

Wow. In Dallas for work, I wanted to check out a show. Incredible bands playing, including The Foxies from Nashville and a few local artists! This venue did not disappoint. The acoustics were great, easy access for drinks and the staff was friendly and efficient. Thanks for a great night Three Links!

This was a small bar with a small stage for music. The bartenders are nice and the place seemed functional. It was an open door room so the heat was coming in from outside buy they had ac which was fabulous. Their bathroom was plastered with stickers and looked sketchy. I hope it was clean. They had a small outdoor area in the back. I didnt go back there but it had a picnic table. Maybe for smokers. Its right in deep ellum so lots to do around there.

What a great venue! The bar is pretty well stocked, and the bartender is fantastic . The stage wasnt so high that sitting up close gives you a sore neck, but not so low that people in the back couldnt see. And the sound was great, even without a DJ (who called in sick, so thats probably not the usual case). The talent is fantastic, and the venue is intimate enough that you really get to interact with the entertainers. I dont think they serve food, but the drag artists definitely serve looks. Go there with plenty of $5s though. The ATM charges a $3 fee per transaction.

I had a terrific time seeing Torched, Good Terms, Greywind, and Boys of Fall here. This is a serious music venue disguised as a bar, not the other way around. The acoustic dampening, sound quality, and audio mixing are on a level you wont find in a bar that just happens to host live music. My ears were ringing loudly for hours afterward, but I never noticed clipping or other sound distortions. Come early if you want a seat or to rub elbows with the band. Drinks dont take long at all. This is an exceptionally intimate venue. Dress for the ambient temperature. Enjoy!

Came from Greece..Travelled the world from Afrika to Japan and had countless drinks in countless bars and never ever a Bartender denied to give me another drink.. paid 30 dollars entrance for me and my lady and one of the guys behind the counter decided I assume either from the look of my eyes or by my minimalistic dancing moves that I m not worthy another drink.. I called that actually discrimination and then serving me chloride tasting tap water instead of another drink. Ridiculous I had another 5 drinks at the rodeos after

now, ive never personally been here, but i have been trying to call them the last few weeks and they NEVER answer their phone. Ive been trying to call to ask if i was under 18 but with a parent if i would be able to go see an artist thats having a concert there, but as ive said, they never answer their phone, and i called multiple times. please for the love of god, pick up your damn phone.

Fantastic spot in Deep Ellum. Amazing energy, live music, nice bar and friendly staff. If youre looking for something unique in Dallas this is the place. My husband and I were visiting the area and walking around after catching a comedy show near by. We saw there was music going on and decided to check it out. What a fun place! The night we went we got to see a WWE entrance theme cover band! The music was great, the drinks were cheap they even had N/A beers and the crowd was high energy and it was a decent size venue with outdoor seating, tables and bar seating.

Awesome dive bar/venue with live music that varies from local to national bands; we went to see Ours and it was an amazingly intimate show! Drink prices were average, along with specials. They had food but I did not eat this time, and I will definitely go back next time I visit Dallas.

To the owner that responded to this: instead of looking inward to see how you could have handle this differently, you are attempting to justify your behavior. The fact remains that in 30 seconds , NOT ONE WORD WAS SPOKEN FROM US, so if you/your staff can feel that we were dismissive or disrespectful simply by someones LOOK or GLANCE, or as you ve put it because we werent PAYING ATTENTION quickly enough for your liking, you might want to re-evaluate yourself. And your claim that we clapped in your face is creative, but a lie. Furthermore, arguing with your customers online is ALWAYS a good thing to do...shows growth. ------my review stands---- This is th LAST place on earth that anyone should be going to. Let me tell you, I walked in with my boyfriend on a Friday night, the girl at the door was having some kind of SENSITIVE-MOOD night. There was a band playing so it was very loud and hard to hear. She told us the cover charge was $5 but we couldnt hear, so she had to repeat it twice (which annoyed her) so she rolled her eyes at us. We gave them $10-for-2, but I guess we needed a wrist band (which we did not know so we started walking in after we paid), but again, since it was loud, she had to repeat that we needed a wrist band twice - which annoyed her even more! She got so annoyed for having to repeat herself, we were IMMEDIATELY asked to leave! Keep in mind, we had only paid and stepped inside, but not ONE WORD was spoken from us the entire time (but somehow weve offended her with no words)...yet because they were so annoyed from having to say it twice, we got kicked out...all for not being able to hear!!! Common sense alone would tell ya you might need to repeat yourself in a LOUD environment, and if you cant handle dealing with people at all...MAYBE (perhaps just a bright idea?), dont work in a social environment where youd have to talk to people and repeat yourself. Note to the bands playing here, just know that while youve worked hard and put in a lot of hours practicing, youre audience/crowd was turned away from seeing you, simply because of an emotional girl at the door. To those reading this, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, where you can be treated with respect instead of based on the mood of some emotional people at the door.

Saw a great set by Blue Hawaii here. Very helpful bartender. The space is comfortable and cozy. Tables pushed aside this night for dancing. The front of the place was open to the street. This openness was nice, with the music wafting outwards and attracting passersby. I speculate that this place punches above its weight class with the acts it books. Blue Hawaii a great example of a band that could have been in a larger venue, but was particularly good in this comfortable venue with an engaged audience. Perhaps the space needs some food offerings, the only downside this evening that I could tell. #Munchies

The honest truth: I love Three Links. This bar isnt just a music venue. Its home to a varied community of regulars that spans from Punk to Metal to, well anything local and fun who CoLab wants to host on Tuesdays. Youll find a lot of folks at Three Links who have been hanging out in Deep Ellum since Before two downturns ago. Most people think of Three Links as just a music venue. But this bar is often busy even when there arent any bands scheduled to play during the day on Saturdays and Sundays. And its well deserved. They serve a nice selection of craft beers right alongside domestic. And the Tully Mule is a pretty special signature cocktail. Theres a great patio in back and since they usually keep the garage doors up on the street I like to walk by and listen for a moment before deciding to go on in and see the whole show. EDITED TO ADD 2022: Three Links now has a Non-Alcoholic beverage menu! They listened when their regulars mentioned they were cutting out alcohol. They made a decision to embrace that new lifestyle choice with open arms. Not many bars are doing this. Like I said, this is a True neighborhood bar. It just so happens to Also be one of the best small music venues in Deep Ellum.

Iconic punk rock bar with live music. Canned local beer for just $3.50 until 8 p.m. Unfortunately the music from the bands was far too loud. I played drums myself for a long time, but it was really uncomfortable here and the quality of the music suffered.

Warning to all black African Americans visiting this establishment so called three links deep ellum as a black man I vist this place Saturday night the young lady at the door charging $5.00 cover charge to blacks only yes I ask was there a cover she say yes $5.00 so I left 3min later a white young couple walks in she politely checked there I.D and let them in no cover charge what so ever so she seen me witness this and all of a sudden she wants to back paddle and cop a attitude with me because of her stereo typing and racist practice against blacks yes blacks visiting this place be careful of this establishment Im in the process of going to Dallas channels news team on this one .

Nice spot to go and have a drink.. its open front so u can see the street adds a nice touch. Good music nice diverse crowd.
