Our sole work truck (on which our business is dependent) was wrecked in early January 2024 and the body shop we used for repairs gave us excuse after excuse (no parts) as to why it couldnt be repaired. At the end of AUGUST 2024 -- 8 months! -- we enlisted the help of Silberman Law Firm. They sent a letter that generated a response from the COO of the body shop within 24 hours, stating that they had a plan to complete repairs by the end of September. Lo and behold, we got our truck back within the time frame as promised. Throughout the process, Silberman Law Firm was extremely responsive to our questions and needs. I only wish I had contacted them MUCH sooner. If youre in a bad situation, hoping it will resolve itself or that the other party will act in good faith, I would recommend not waiting and letting the pros handle it.

Very poor communication. They were quick to respond initially and bill & charge. Once the review was done it was very hard to get a response from the attorney. Austen was the attorney who responded saying there was case but never heard back after repeated emails and calls. Wouldve expected better. I wouldnt recommend.

I would be aware of this company - the initial interaction with Allison was great. She was a pleasure to work with and I am not sure what happened to her. I was set to complete a quitclaim through them which was supposed to be an easy fast process. During my divorce I was stationed in South Korea and luckily my ex-spouse and I were still on speaking terms and she competed the quitclaim as requested got it notarized and everything. Chris Heald was absolutely horrible to work with. No professional bone in his body and couldnt care less about how they played a part in this extremely inconvenience and mishandling of legal actions. Apparently when the letter was sent to their Houston location, that location was shutdown and she was not made aware. So we were asked to resend the original letter. At that point my spouse and I were not on speaking terms but she did it anyways sent me the information and her mailing it off to their Dallas Location. Weeks later they claimed to still not have received this letter. They claim they couldnt find it in Dallas or Houston Location. An absolute administrative nightmare. At this point my divorce is finalized and getting my spouse to resend this letter to do again is nearly impossible and now I have a legal obligation to my ex-spouse with a home I am paying for due to their inability to complete administrative actions or at least inform their paying clients of an entire location shutdown. I called in January and was informed they still couldnt find paperwork from June 2023 and they would issue a refund which should be issued in 7-10 business days. I never received it and reached out to them to inquiry about it. I informed Chris it was nearly impossible to send out a letter for a third time and I was still waiting for the refund that was promised. Untimely didnt receive a refund or any legal work promised besides a draft I could have gotten off google or from the local Military office that helps with legal dealings. I would put my money in a credible law firm that you can visit and get a hold of someone when you call. My biggest mistake was entrusting them when I couldnt physically visit their location and in a deployed location. PLEASE GO WHERE YOU ARE WELCOMED AND LISTEN TO AS A CLIENT.

1 star seems too generous. I was passed around to 3 different people with the initial person we had a call with not being the person we were passed to and passed again too. No meaningful legal strategy was provided though was claimed to have been and certainly charged. Billable hours were conveniently created to use up the entire retainer I paid, including billing for emails where I communicated a mistake in noting the correct monetary amount they made in their written demand for my claim. So they charged for time emailing back to me about their mistake and again for their second round of time to fix their mistake and rewrite what should have been written correctly in the first place.

BEWARE of this law firm!!! Jesse Buttery was assigned to my case. He gave me an outline and timeline for my case which he did NOT follow. When trying to follow up to see if he had done the things he said he would, I got FULLY IGNORED!!! Could not reach him via phone or email for a couple of months. The lack of communication was so bad that I had to reach out to Philip Silberman himself to see if Jesse was even still working at his firm any longer or not. Philip assured me Jesse would be reaching out to me. Guess what Jesse still failed to contact me even when his own boss told him to. This treatment was completely unacceptable while paying for their services so I demanded a full refund because I no choice but to fire Jesse Buttery and the firm as a whole. I only was refunded my money once I filed a grievance with the State Bar of Texas and they realized that I was not playing with them and was fully willing to hold them accountable for their chosen unacceptable behaviors. Due to these poor business practices I was experiencing with them, the only way to then deal with them was to file a grievance with the State Bar of Texas, which I did. It was at that time that I learned that AFTER I FIRED them that Jesse decided to send out a demand letter on my behalf. A demand letter that I had no knowledge of, they did not have my consent or approval to send (due to having FIRED THEM weeks before), and that I never even saw prior to being mailed. Come to find out it was full of lies and falsehoods about my claim. That letter could be potentially very damaging to my case which is still ongoing.

We had a recently completed remodel. Contractor is fully paid but subcontractors are not. Subcontractors are saying they would put lien to our house. The contractor said they couldnt do that. Also I had to make a bad Google review to our contractor and I got irate text messages. I email Silberman law firm one night and the following day I got a call from a lawyer (David Austin Black). He answered all of my questions. Its quite confusing when you hear conflicting information from different people and its frustrating to Google as I need answers on my specific questions. He provided me options of what I could do should the situation deteriorate and it really gave me a peace of mind knowing things straight from someone who knows Texas law. Really thank you!

When I asked for an engagement letter before I just send over money, with nothing in writing, I was told they don t do engagement letters for the amount they were charging me and that the attorney would send me an email instead. I hired this law firm to handle my business dispute. when I sent a request for consultation, Philip called me back in a few hours and he offered me a free consultation over the phone. After I explained my situation, he suggested to start with a demand letter. I agreed and paid $1,500 flat fee which will include cost of a full review, a demand letter, and correspondence. He assigned me Jesse Buttery to handle my case. He was very quick in writing a demand letter and deliver it to the opponent. HOWEVER, THAT WAS IT. There was no update what is going on unless I try to reach him for a few times. There was a time that I couldnt get a hold of him for 3 weeks (from Feb 4th to Feb 24th). I tried Philip and a secretary and they said his family member got covid-19 so hes been working from home. Yes, he was working from home but how come I am not able to hear back from him? Wasnt him supposed to ask someone else to follow up on my case? I was getting very upset because the demand letter was sent on Jan 13th and I wasnt hearing anything from the opponent at least until Feb 24th. I told them that I am going to file a complaint to the State Bar of Texas and finally got back to me. Even after that, he didnt really try to represent me or argue with the other side of the lawyer to persuade why I am asking for compensation. He would just offer them my price and give me their price.. After two more correspondence letters, I decided to hire another lawyer who can handle my case more aggressively and represent me to the opponent. Before I was hiring another lawyer, that date was a deadline to get back to the opponent by 5 pm and I did not hear back from Jesse at all, so I gave up on him and hired another lawyer. I dont know if $1,500 is a cheap price to hire a lawyer to do a demand letter and correspondence or its a reasonable price. I dont know since it is my first time, but people dont get deceived by their free consultation and flat fee. They will not handle your case as their priority. My case didnt go anywhere and I feel like I wasted at least $1,000 while I was stressed so much to get a hold of this lawyer. I am giving 2 stars because at least he did send a demand letter.

The opposing counsel provided me a written statement that Silverman law firm made two phone calls and never provided any type of formal or written offer. I received a fast initial callback and useful first consult and was told they could do the job in the time frame I was working on. Once I engaged Silberman to help with a small business investment, the attorney I was assigned was not responsive and billed several hours while providing no documents, useful email feedback, or consultation call availability. At the end of the day, I was billed several hours without getting any work product in return, and more significantly, the business transaction I was working on was delayed while I searched for a new attorney. Given several chances, my attorney and the senior partner failed to deliver or offer recompense for failure to deliver. I subsequently found an attorney at another firm and was able to quickly get the work done and questions answered that I needed. 2 stars instead of one because all interactions maintained professional courtesy despite the failed business engagement.

I needed legal advice on a private matter and had tried for two weeks to set up an appointment with another firm that had been recommended to me. After five attempts to get a call back I called Silberman and was able to speak with Phillip on my first call. He was very concise with his questions and navigated me through my case and determined on the line that I would not need his services and no legal actions were required. This saved me $4000. I would certainly recommend that if you need legal advice that you give them a call for a fair and honest answer.

I would like to share my experience with the Silberman Law Firm. I purchased a piece of commercial property from a close friends widow. Id known of the property for years, and knew my friend owed no money on it, so I just had someone do a cursory title search on it so the transaction could take place quickly. Later, as I preparing to sell the property, an oddball lien showed up, which involved no outstanding debt, yet clouded the title where no one would insure it. After speaking with one real estate attorney who hemmed and hawed, I found the Silberman Firm. Phil Silberman told me the options we had, that could achieve my goal. He hooked me up with Chris Quillin in their Dallas office, and from day one I knew that I was in good hands! Chris was also extremely knowledgeable, and constantly kept me updated as he progressed through the steps to get my title cleared of the cloud, which he did, indeed do. The property was sold with an insured title. Thanks again Chris and Phil!

I found Silberman Law Firm on Google search. I live out of state but my situation is in Dallas County. I filled out the info on the firms contact page and Phil called the following business day. He was easy to talk to; he asked pertinent questions and answered mine. As it turns out, I did not need his services (for which he told me straight up) but he did provide some guidance and suggestions that were helpful. It was a good initial consultation that did not cost anything. I would obtain his services when/if the need should ever come up.
