My wife and I hired Jacob to help us get our deposit back from our landlord in November of 2023. We agreed to ask for the deposit plus the attorney fees he was charging. He never asked for attorney fee in the demand letter like we agreed and ended up losing half of that deposit. He said he would reach out and request the attorney fee but we never saw anything from Jacob, even after we asked for updates and for him to copy us on any communication, but communication was just never there. To this day, we are still waiting for Jacob to give us an update but havent gotten a response to my last text or email. I would not use Jacob in the future as I got the feeling that his interest was not in us (the client) but in making quick money.

When we were faced with an inability to close on the house we had spent considerable amount of due diligence dollars on one week before closing. We were at a loss as to what to do. Jacob came to the rescue. His experience in real estate law was invaluable. Even the mediator at our mediation that finally brought closure to our year long ordeal was very impressed with Jacob s abilities. If you are in need of a real estate attorney Jacob Thompson is the best choice.

Jacob is extremely professional and helpful. He educated us on our real-estate contract and he continued to communicate with us throughout the entire process. We felt extremely comfortable due to his level of knowledge, professionalism, and communication. Thankfully, Jacob was able to provide a solution in a timely manner since time was of the essence.
