1st time being at the establishment, will be back since I have a understanding, but 1st off false advertising and acting Manager Adrianna would not honor the ad just apologized in a uncaring manner. Server showed a little more empathy on the matter, but her hands were tied. Had to keep asking for more water so didnt like she wasnt very attentive to the table. Best thing was the food, fresh and well seasoned, along with the ambience but drinks to food ratio was a little overpriced. Maybe Im a little slow but if you received this flyer would u say it read as free wings till half-time with a 2 drink minimum per person or 1 order of wings per 2 drink minimum? Asking for a friend!

Ive been here a handful of times and have always had a good time. I love the poetry/open mic nights and the karaoke! Food is always good, drinks are good and strong, the live band is a vibe. Theres also a guy who sells his oils and jewelry outside on the weekends and I always have to stop and reup with him. Be ready to DANCE when you go!

Ive been looking for a place to get good Jamaican food in Dallas and I cant entirely say that I found it here. I came in and ordered two beef patties, coco bread, and fruit punch. They didnt have fruit punch, so I got a rum punch. The rum punch was fantastic and I would honestly go back just for that drink alone. Where they lost me though, is the beef patties. I didnt look in the bag when it was given to me and I should have. When I got home, one of the beef patties was so burnt that I couldnt even eat it. Even at that, I wasnt super upset until I remembered that I paid $5 per patty. Highly disappointed.

The food wasnt authentic Jamaican cuisine the Jerk chicken and brown stew were dry lacked flavor and the oxtails were small. The wait staff however was refreshing, very friendly and prompt. I enjoyed the live band. The place was dark and food served with plastic ware. Vita coco coconut water is definitely not what I expected

I was here on a Saturday night with a party of 8 . Service was a 5/5 . Waitress was friendly and attentive. You also had a hostess that walked the floor to help with customer service and satisfaction. Atmosphere : definitely has a Jamaican vibe with a mixture of DJ and live music Both the DJ & Band was a 5/5. Food : I ordered the vegetarian brown stew tofu dish the overall taste was an 4/5 the presentation was an 5/5 , they give you plenty of food. Side dish of plantains was perfectly balanced 5/5. My husband ordered the Veggie patty , wait time was over 30 min just to be told they were out of pineapples that was the main topping for the veg burger patty . Overall he didn t like the taste of the veg patty as it was soft in texture and lacked the overall carribean flavor. The rest of the party ordered meat dishes such as jerk wings , Rasta pasta , and thoroughly enjoyed their dishes each one gave a 4/5 to 5/5. Dress code : casual - casual - jeans - polo - t shirts- or grown & sexy - basically whatever you choose. Hookah section outside. Parking : get there early ! Parking lot is spacious but fills up quickly. They also TOW at nearby businesses so be careful on where you park. Cover fee : free B4 9pm . Reservations: made online and was well accommodated at 7pm upon our arrival. She is going to need someone to take care of her because she definitely is not going to make it far off her looks and her natural curly hair. Will not be back. **Review for Heroes Jamaican Club in Dallas, Texas** I recently visited Heroes Jamaican Club in Dallas and had a mixed experience. The DJ that performed was fantastic and kept the energy high throughout the night. The staff is typically very, very nice and attentive, which added to the overall positive atmosphere. However, I have to address a major issue: the bathrooms. They are absolutely atrocious. For an establishment that hosts so many patrons, its essential to have someone constantly monitoring and maintaining the cleanliness of the bathrooms. Unfortunately, they were in a terrible state, almost to the point of being a health hazard for the entire restaurant/bar. I hope the management takes immediate action to improve the bathroom situation because it significantly detracts from an otherwise enjoyable experience.

I recently placed an online order for goat curry and chicken curry to go from Heroes Island Cuisine Lounge, and my experience was quite mixed. Firstly, upon arrival, I was unexpectedly patted down before entering the establishment, which I found rather unusual and off-putting. Inside, there was loud live music playing, which added a vibrant, albeit loud, atmosphere. Moving on to the food, I was disappointed with the portion size considering the price. For a $22 goat curry box, I expected a more substantial meal, including rice and beans and plantains. Instead, it came with just plain white rice and a side of cabbage. The goat curry itself was too salty for my taste, and I did not enjoy my meal. My wife, who is from a Caribbean country, also found her chicken curry lacking in curry flavor, which was quite surprising and disappointing given the cuisine s heritage. Overall, I would not recommend Heroes Island Cuisine Lounge based on this experience.

What a great restaurant! Two occasions I want to mention. One was the Saturday before Superbowl I called to see if I could order a pan of Rasta Pasta. I was able to pick it up an hour before the game came on, THE NEXT DAY. Second was a birthday celebration I hosted for myself. I texted Samantha (owner) and all was Irie! My group came, ate their hearts out, drank and danced the night away as we watched the Dallas Mavericks Game 4 of the finals! Toya, our waitress was and always is SUPERB! Her drive to always give 100% will always have me return. My guest couldnt stop talkinthe service, service, food and just the whole vibe! Happy Hour done like no other place Ive ever been. 10 out of 10 recommend!

This place was recommended to my husband and I so we decided to try it out after having dinner downtown. We were looking for a Caribbean spot where we could chill, have some good drinks, and listen to some nice music. Service was good - we were seated as soon as we arrived and had a great view of the band. The rum punch was good, but a little too sweet - I ended up with a headache when I got up in the morning and I made sure I was ready to have a good time before I went out (Liquid IV for the win!). We enjoyed the vibe, though, and there is plenty of seating if you want to make a reservation. The music was great and exactly what we were looking for. Well be back to try the food another time.

I understand that most places with good food are hole in the wall restaurants. I personally wanted to try Jamaican food for the longest and drove 30 minutes to this place. When we got in the music was so loud you could not hear which is fine and understandable that it is a DJ music club but it was 3 oclock in the afternoon. The hostesses took forever to seat us and there was no one in the restaurant. The food that we ordered took forever to come out and when it finally got to the table it was cold.... after tasting some of the food I let the waitress know that I was not satisfied with the meal and to take it back. She agrees that the chicken is old and brings out more for my guest i was with then proceeds to tell me that because I taste the food I have to pay for percentage of it although it was cold and the jerk chicken was dry and old and most of all BLAND. I got the sampler platter and was forced to speak to the manager and she told me that basically I needed to pay for half of it. In order to not escalate the situation I went a head and paid for half of the food although I only ate a couple bites to taste. I will never go back to this to this establishment. On top of all of this the bathroom was probably the most disgusting bathroom Ive been in in a restaurant AND flies because they keep the door open. This apparently is a Dallas staple but I would recommend going somewhere else with your money.

One of my worst experiences EVER at a lounge and I never leave reviews. I went there once and I was by myself because I heard great things. I ordered fries and a drink that s $5. My total was less than $20. I tried paying with Apple Pay and I didn t have cash that day, and I didn t have any idea that they didn t take it. They thought I was trying to get over with not paying when I showed them that I had the cash on my card. The he said if you can tip the waitress and he will take care of it. I told him, I only have cash app. The manager came out and wouldn t let me leave out the building. My waitress ask did I have cash and I said I don t use cash app or don t have nothing link to it. I m not even from Dallas so I didn t even have anybody to meet me with cash or a card. She proceeded to stand out side to make a phone call. She was very RUDE! I then called the police because I felt unsafe because they wouldn t let me out of the building and had to call a friend to send some money. The whole experience was one of the worse experiences.

Yeah worst experience out in Dallas. If you are looking for an enjoyable place for night life Don t go here!!? The parking lot is full of extremely large pot holes. They have a man working in the parking lot that does help direct cars. They allow cars to take up 2-3 parking spaces and expect you to park in the mud. I witnessed a car being hit by another car that was looking for a park and the attendant or what ever he is in the parking lot said oh well . If you are looking for a quality experience, this is not it. I left. Not about to waste my time nor money. If the service was that bad before even going in, I couldn t imagine how bad it is when you get in.

Enjoyed an incredible Saturday evening at this Jamaican spot with their fantastic drinks and nostalgic music. Havent had the chance to try the food yet, but thats definitely on the list for next time. A bit tricky to find parking, but being close to the road has its perks. Can t wait to go back!

This place is the best Jamaican food I ve had since I ve moved to Texas (I ve tried Jamaican food in San Antonio, Houston and now Dallas). I ordered takeout and tried the 3 meat plate. The oxtails were 6.5/10, jerk 8/10, curry 9/10. Rice and peas were pretty decent, cabbage was 10/10 for me. And they included this hot sauce Lawd that was delicious! Will be my go to spot for Jamaican good!!

I went here a couple of weeks back Feb 10th for my birthday with a group of friends. The band was great, the food was delicious and our waitress was on point! This was some of us first time coming here and we will be back. If you want to enjoy a nice band and great music and food I highly recommend this place. Hands down the red snapper was the best!

I recently relocated to TX and as a vegan its hard to find a great bar & restaurant. Yesterday me and my family had a ball at happy hour. I had the BEST vegan veggie plate! Everything on my plate was fresh and seasoned to perfection! Our server was very polite and provided awesome service as well! i ve ordered from here using doordash 10+ times since i ve been to texas . (1.5 years almost to date) the food has always been phenomenal up until recently i only ever get the oxtails. the first time i got upset they were visibly rock hard. i have pictures but because i has only ever had great experiences i won t use that as depiction of this brand. however i had to cook them down to soften them up .. yesterday when i went in the building they were dry again and getting stuck in my teeth.. i ordered plain chicken wings the last time they were great . this time they had a bad taste and not enough seasoning.. i want to come back because i really enjoy spending my money here but i refuse to do it unless they get back to great quality food. the bar drinks are moderately priced and very nice! oh! first time actually walking into the building was yesterday. it was loud YET enjoyable . they had a live band which excited me! i love live music and they played a ton of oldies mixed with the new music. there s a pool table and a green grass wall for the instagram ppl lol PLEASANTLY surprised. definitely a nice hang out. I never thought I would say this I been frequently going since they were in North Dallas but I went this time and the food T tasted stale and the flavor has changed alot and its no where near the same. It made me sick so it was in fact old food. They only agreed to comp the drinks and I had no issues with my drinks. I will never go back.

Frequent customer. I always get the curry chicken add curry shrimp pieces, rice & peas and the vegetables. Usually it s good meat but this time it was more bones than anything on the plate (usually never has bones) and the spice level was over the top. I m not sure if it was because they just opened but I was not able to enjoy it. I only get to get jamaican when i come in town once a month and this time was a disappointment.

I m a loyal customer and I love Heroes however they have up d the prices( which I m not mad at). Twice I ve ordered through Door Dash and my order has been incorrect. I don t mind paying for quality food but I expect it to be right. The rice and peas are too spicy for me so I always pay for double veggies. Twice I ve received double rice and peas which means I can only eat half the meal. Love Heroes but please double check DoorDash orders!
