Last time going to this place for food. These guys are charging sky high prices for very tiny portions. I ordered the steak frites that claims 6-8oz. They gave me what looked like 4oz of steak at $40. My friend had the chicken sandwich. The chicken patty was razor thin. Another friend had the fish and chips. It was all breading. No thanks! Save your time and money on this one.

Went for date night and was great. The service was awesome. Our server took good care of us, and we also had refills at just the right times. Great selection of drinks. I normally dont care for sweet drinks but the paper plane was really good. Food was good, the fried mushrooms were bland, and they cooked the burgers one step above what we ordered them as. They had good flavor, and the truffle fries were great for me, but my wife thought hers were a bit salty. There is a beer garden in the back that we will definitely come back to visit.

Kid-friendliness: I cant speak for later in the day since it was only around 11 am when we were there. But besides our son, there was also a family with 3-5 girls in little League soccer uniforms and 1-2 women with new babies. It was kid friendly atmosphere with the experience we had and we will not hesitate to go back as a family.

Very lovely Irish pub, pretty good food. I had the chicken and biscuits that came with a small amount of gravy. Tasty chicken, the house potatoes were crisp, lacking seasoning. And no salt or pepper in sight for us. I enjoyed my pancake. No real concern there. My friend enjoyed the Norwegian Benedict more or less. IDK why we payed for hotsauce instead of getting a bottle. I was very sad to see there was not many breakfast appetizer options. With that no English or Irish breakfast. Bangers with bacon beans toast and eggs. But this place has nice perks for a pub to come and sit enjoy. Not much for breakfast. Unless you just wanted a nice pick up from drinking the night before. Ill come back and try the dinner next time.

Lochlands is a friendly neighborhood Irish pub with excellent food and drinks. We ate brunch here with some neighbors this morning, and my eggs Florentine was delicious, perfectly prepared, and colorful (I got a very fresh side salad with home made buttermilk ranch). Service was friendly and efficient, and there are always soccer matches on the plentiful TVs mounted in every corner. Parking is plentiful, too. Highly recommended.

First time to visit Lochlands. Really had a pleasant experience. The Guinness had run out. That was a minor disappointment, but there were plenty of alternatives on the menu that I was happy to imbibe. I was especially impressed that they had a great selection of Sours, albeit, mostly Sours by Martin House, they are still great sours. The food menu was impressive. Hope to try more items on our next visit. Overall, great place. Nice and quiet. Very clean. Good atmosphere. Knowledgeable staff. Will go back.

Waitress was extremely rude to us from the moment we sat down. Thursday night, not crowded. At a small neighborhood restaurant, this is not the way you should treat your customers if you want them to come back. When you go out to have dinner, you dont want to feel uncomfortable at the place you are choosing to spend money at. It will probably be a long time before we consider coming back here. Very unfortunate because we used to love this place.

I fell in love with this place. A classic neighborhood pub. The decor is industrial with Irish touches but not kitschy. Clearly a neighborhood hangout. They feature rugby matches on the big screen (there are multiple other TVs) which draw an enthusiastic but not rowdy crowd. Plenty of beer, wine, and cocktail selections, and the food is good. I went for brunch (only available on weekends) and had smoked salmon on potato cakes, with an over easy egg added. Delicious. They have Guinness on draft, properly poured. I enjoyed a snakebite, which here is a Stella with Magners (Irish) dry cider. In other Irish pubs the beer is Harp, but they don t have that here. If I lived in this area I d be a Lochland s regular. Vegetarian options: They exist, but much of the menu features meat and fish. There are vegetarian flatbread choices as well as salads; if you eat cheese and eggs you ll be fine. Vegans will face limited choices, but there is a vegan shepherd s pie. Parking: Plenty of parking except when it s very crowded. Kid-friendliness: I observed one family group with kids (one little boy was wearing headphones). I was there during a televised Saturday rugby match, during which the pub got very loud, but I d guess normally it wouldn t be so loud as to upset little kids. The place is definitely kid friendly.

Traditional Irish Fare ? I ll agree that Shepards pie fits, but fish & chips is about as English as you can get. The food & service were very good, atmosphere isn t authentic : where s the snug? Great 1st experience on mothers day. Short wait for a seat at the bar as they were fully packed for brunch ! Bartender Paige greeted me warmly and gave me a firm handshake. I decided on a St Germain Spritz and Avocado Toast with 2 poached eggs on top. The cocktail was refreshing and I enjoyed my Avocado Toast too though the eggs were overcooked, but considering how busy they were, it would be an easy mistake. Will definitely try them out again. Service was stellar from all I encountered.

I really like the feel of this place, makes me feel at home. Drinks and food are great, but I come here more to just relax. Inside is dimly lit and welcoming, like an Irish pub should be. Outside there is a nice patio in the back in case you want some fresh air.

I like this place. Shepherds pie is yummy, as is the chicken/sausage biscuit brunch-thing...the gravy! Nice people, good beer selection. Great bourbon selection! And how do you go wrong with large-screen rugby!?

I went with a girlfriend, and had so much fun! Casey was our server! He was fun, and knowledgeable about the menu. He made us laugh, and made our first experience at Lochlands perfect! Thank you, Casey!! Definitely will be back!

My fiancé and I love coming here! The owners are always super attentive and nice to all guests. Their ingredients are always very fresh, including their smoked salmon. Proportions are big, so we always get a couple of things to share. I *crave* their lemon vinaigrette, it s so good! Ask for extra when ordering their sunny salad or their avocado toast So good.

Fantastic spot & even better food. Drinks are the cherry on top. The addition of the beer garden in the back is fantastic.

We have driven by multiple times and keep saying we should stop in. Finally we did. Ordered a bourbon cocktail that was excellent (Im a chef who cooks often with bourbon so it was right up my alley.) Friendly service and the food came out hot and fresh. The simplest thing was impressive... the side salad. It wasnt your typically iceberg lettuce. They actually used cut up romaine, sliced onions, grape tomatoes, a cucumber and a nice side portion of dressing. I ordered the lochland burger... I order medium and got well, well done. Some salt and pepper on the thick patty would have gave the overcooked burger some justice. The hash dish was on point. We will return, but next time Ill order medium rare to get a medium burger.

As many times as we have driven placed Lochlands and said, We gotta check that out! FINALLY!!!! Stepped in on a early Saturday afternoon and was greeted by a laid back, traditional Irish Bar. With a reasonable amount of people, the atmosphere was cozy with just the right amount of bar noise(quite by most bar standards). I ordered the Breakfast Bourbon Martini made with Knob Creek & Smoked Maple Bourbon Peach Liqeur, and Bitters, it was a great Cocktail!! Strong upfront with a gentle sweetness in the finish made this cocktail a sure winner! Hubby ordered the Lochland Burger that was fat and juicy on a beautifully, soft, Brioche Bun was really good. A little Salt and Pepper would have went a long way on this patty that was supposed to be Medium Rare, but came our Medium. I had the House Hash and Eggs which was a dream! The Corned Beef was tender and NOT DRIED OUT! With under tones of juniper and stout, sauteed with Caramelized Onions, Breakfast Potatoes, and Hollandaise was a sure winner! Everything worked together seemsless and delivered on all the flavors I love in a good Corned Beef! Staff was friendly and attentive. I am so glad we stopped in for a Saturday Brunch after a day of shopping! If you havent been? Check It Out!

Good food, good drinks. What more needs to be said? My only complaint is that I wish they had meatloaf and mashed potatoes on the menu.

One of my favorite brunches in Dallas. Since the original concept (Capitol Pub). Highly recommend the smoked salmon Benedict. (The Norwegian). Best in Dallas. I keep coming back even after their address change. All around great food and the freshest of ingredients. Also a go to place for soccer/rugby games and even hurling. Basically. When you re there you feel like teaghlach. (Family)
