***UPDATE*** The paralegal that was assigned to my case, Ivette Ramirez, was outstanding! She was very thorough, professional and always replied to my emails in a timely manner. Thank you Ivette! **Addition to my review. I have been debating leaving a review since I had such a negative experience but I am hopeful this will help other hispanic families as they spend their hard earned money trying to adjust their status. They are very helpful when you first start the process of filing your case but once it s submitted and USCIS sends letters or updates the attorneys wait until the deadline to reach out you. I was denied my case due to untimely filing. Now, I ve emailed the attorneys and paralegals more than 5 times to have my file mailed to me but they keep giving me the run-around. Safe to say I am disappointed we hired Davis & Associates in the first place and following their awful customer service once we were actually a client is really bad business. Please find another attorney.

I had an appointment yesterday with one of their lawyers, which went good. I met the receptionist, who made my visit more pleasant, she answered all of my question with a smile on her face and a good attitude. Once I was done with my visit another customer walked in late and the receptionist explained to her that she was late and that she needed to reschedule. To say the least the customer was super rude, talked over the receptionist when she was just trying to help her. The receptionist stayed very processional throughout the altercation, I very impressed by her behavior. Loved the visit, I definitely recommend.

At first everything was fine... but then once you sign the contract with them you no longer contact them, it is very difficult to contact the paralegal... I came to them for an I-130... I mentioned my process many times and in the end they made me the form was wrong... and when I realized it, I tried to contact them, it took almost a month and the only thing they told me was that this error did not affect me... which is not true... now I have to do the I-130 again which takes a whole year. I dont recommend the worst lawyers.

This is my second review of the firm and I am happy to recommend them. They were able to get a dismissal on my case. Mr David was quite understanding and encouraging from the get go. mrs Claire and Alma, and Karima were awesome. The response to emails were mostly good but the call backs were terrible. You can hardly get the Paralegal on the phone menu . I plan to use the firm in future should I need any immigration related issues.

Families not Files - A catchy way to make yourself seem open and inviting but hardly the truth. Let me tell others the actual truth here. Ive read over their reviews, and I can see they like to pretend bad reviews arent even customers. I m a real customer, I m sure they wont find me. They couldn t even find my wifes case without her case number. This goes back to the Families not Files. The reality is you re a file here. So let me go on here and say Im a customer, and they did my wifes green card or temporary green card. Overall, the process was mediocre. This law office family wont answer your phone calls. So thats the Family Not Files youre starting a relationship with. In addition, if you go into their office they wont be able to find you by your name, only the case number. Keep all that in mind when you think of Families not Files. The fact is, they dont know who you are, and they dont care. You are a file to them. In-fact youre such a file to them your name means nothing. What is your case number. My problem with them is the fact they misrepresent dramatically what they are. Youre simply a file, not a family member, and youre such a low quality file they wont answer any questions without charging you. We paid them $7000. We got my wifes green card, but they tried to tell me I had to pay $50-$100 more to hear what we had to do next. This again speaks to Families not Files. This law office is NOT worth the money. They dont care about you, your family. They care about your case ID, and apparently 50-100$. Infact, the girl at the front desk had a hard time actually defending that when I asked her why we paid 7000$ to have her say we had to pay for a new consultation. Well I wont pay for that. What I will do is come here to google and hopefully I can convince one, maybe two people to avoid this office. You cant have my $50-100$ and I dont appreciate you doing my wifes green card. I paid you 7000$ so I dont need to thank you. I think of you the same as you think of me, to me youre a string of letters, a transaction nothing more. I dont care what you think of me either. In the end, can they get you a green card? Yes they can, do they care about you. No they dont, they really have no idea who you are. Think twice about using them, think three times. Do another search, find another office to handle your case. I regret using them on principle, had I known more I would have never used them. Im in the process of doing my step kids green cards and we didnt hire this attorney again. Nothing says we dont appreciate your business like We charge $50-$100 for consultation for existing customers who paid them seven thousand dollars.

When we decided to do all our procedures with Davis & Associates it was because we wanted to feel confident with the people who would handle our cases, unfortunately that was not the case, my husband and I always felt ignored by the people who handled our case, so we could talk to them. People had to send emails over and over again to the point of sending one to the manager so that they could help us. Please, my son had his interview appointment at the United States consulate in Guatemala and it was very important that all the papers were in order when They gave me that package, everything was wrong and thats how they wanted my husband and my son to show up for the appointment. If it hadnt been for me noticing that package, maybe my son would never have been given residency, to ask for a appointment I had to almost beg for them to help me in person to review all the documents again and that everything was perfect and I could continue writing but thank God my son and I are already residents of this country it was a long and tiring process physical because I never felt supported by my lawyers, they were like 2 people who could help me in these almost 3 years, I learned a lot from all this and please I ask you to be kinder to the people who approach you because as clients we put all our trust in you
