If you want someone just to take your thousands of dollars for weekly meetings that 3 people bill you for that never happened, this is the place for you. Know that your first 3000.00 goes to entering and leaving the case. Expect continuous charges by 3 people weekly when they are no longer your attorney. Expect horrible service and broken promises. If you need a family attorney, dont risk your family with these crooks.

Everyone seen the movie KNOCKED UP And that was a great movie!! And I believe one of the reasons that made the movie great was because many UNWED MEN having kids outside of marriage could totally relate..lol IN MY CASE I felt this to be true...but NOW with one GOOGLE SEARCH ..all my unknowns were answered..by one name! MORDERN FAMILY LAW. Confused heart pounding and didnt know how to handle everything that comes with men having basically no right in Texas. So I called and was surprised to be met with a LIVE person that showed compassion and empty and a sense of urgency to help me out and resolve all of my unknowns. More than anything that mattered that my voice was heard and it was important to feel like my situation isnt TRADITIONAL..and definitely needed a MORDERN type of representation! So I want to shout NAJMU MOHSEEN for people more then a SCRIPT but being true to the name of the LAW FIRM..and having to compassion to explain all of the QUESTIONS UNKNOWNS CONCESSIONS THE PROCESS THE RIGHT IF A UNWED FATHER IN TEXAS ... I would give them a negative star if I could! Update::: we fired this attorney and they continued to invoice us for bogus charges, we were charged for the hired attorney to consult with a senior attorney about a case that she didn t do anything with. She never fixed the motion that we filed, so we were just being charged so that they can eat the entire escrow that we put down. Do NOT waste your time, I am filing a complaint with the state board! Over charged for nothing! We were actually paying for an attorney that was charging for her consultation from her lead attorney and we did the motions ourselves. Nothing was done. The attorney only came to two resets and we had to hire someone else. Because we already saw that the outcome was going to be bad. The attorney herself was a doll and very sweet, but it s not about that, it s about the case.

LOOK ELSEWHERE! Horrible experience. I was needing an attorney to review a prenup that my husband s attorney drafted. I somehow paid more just for the reviewal than he paid to have the whole thing drafted. Every week I ve been getting charges for absolutely no reason other than to discuss case to ensure it s moving forward . My attorney also sent the wrong final copy to the opposing attorney which then caused us more time and money in this case. My assigned attorney then left the firm in the middle of all of this and I was assigned another attorney. Terminated services with them immediately and yet I still have charges. It s very clear that they are nickel and dime-ing their clients and I regret ever using their services. They asked me to leave them a 5 star review and mention who I worked with by name so they could receive bonuses. I refuse to leave them anything less than 1 star unless they can rectify this situation.

I am so unhappy with their services, or lack there of. I asked for temporary orders drawn up and they waste $3000.00 just to enter the case. Then tell me I need to pay them $3000.00 more now or they leave the case. With that kind of lack of service I think Id rather save the money for my family. Family attorneys are the lowest level of humans taking from others the way they do. They will charge you weekly for 3 people to meet amongst themselves supposedly to talk about your case to ensure they drain you of every penny for doing more of nothing. Worst money ever spent.

Completely unprofessional. I was carried away with the ratings and reviews. These reviews are an amalgamation of all offices. I found very few pertaining to Dallas office alone. Initially when I called them they connected me to an attorney in Colorado. She spoke to me for a while and suggested I go with Roya Atashi as per my location and requirement. Meanwhile I was told to put in personal information. They did my credit check and said I was not eligible for a discounted retainer fee as my income was low, I had a good credit score and a good credit line. The financial team lady said the minimum income should be $65k/annum to be eligible. She said the more the income the more the household expenses, which makes someone eligible for a discount. What a logic I decided to go ahead anyway. After few days Roya could finally give me time for a consultation. I explained her how bad my situation was and my immediate requirements. She said she would get certain things done, schedule another consultation and asked to mail some documents. I did. She would not respond back no matter what. I emailed her, sent her texts but she wouldnt reply. I was told she was busy with trial. That doesnt mean you neglect everything for weeks. It is a minimum courtesy and takes 30 sec of your time to respond. Highly disappointed wasting my time and energy with them.

After I finally cut ties with the other firm, I was on a very tight deadline to get my documents in order. I m in the early stages of the legal process for my divorce and I was nervous about the cost. I had a coworker who referred me to Diana M. at Modern Family Law. After contacting her, she listened to my concerns and showed me the fee calculator they have on their website that really made it easy to see what the financial aspect of this was going to be.
