This review is based on the owner of this business, not the venue itself. When I first connected with Bree in May 2022, I asked a bunch of questions and needed some clarity afterwards before I booked. Ill admit that I should have made more detailed notes at my initial visit so I didnt bother her with redundant questioning. I was triggered with her capitalized responses (her attempt at yelling & drawing down her point, I guess) so I responded in a rude manner. Bree expressed her concerns and I apologized for my response as I didnt want her to think I would be a problem for her. Fast forward to Aug 2022, Bree let me know that her venue, Little House on Bishop Arts, was closing and that she worked it out where I could use another venue. I was appreciative of her help and she expressed her gratitude that I was so flexible. My sister in law and I toured the new venue and everything was fine. We were told showed the amenties including the use of multiple bathrooms within the entire facility (the room is apart of a bigger storefront) and were able to see that there was 36 chairs and 5 tables, which is what we needed. My event was Aug 28, 2022 and the Bree I experienced this day was similar to our first mishap. The day before she gave me the code to enter and told me she would stop by to check on me on her way to Austin on the day of the event, which she never did. On the day of, I was asking for extra chairs because the new venue only had 20, when the website mentioned 36. Bree yelled at me and used those capital letters again to inform me that she NEVER said I had 36 chairs at my venue (The Little House on Bishop Arts). I told her I was talking about the new venue and then she understood, but never apologized for her attitude. Bree had dropped off a table and 4 chairs (for a total of 24 chairs and 6 tables) but that was not enough for my 40 guests. As the day went on, we found out we had no access to extra bathrooms (only the one bathroom in the venue, which wouldnt have been a problem if this was communicated to us), the portable AC unit was leaking, the AC system was turned off so it was incredibly hot and there was no soap and paper towels in the bathroom. I reached out to Bree about the bathrooms because both my sis in law heard her tell us about the use of multiple bathrooms and she never responded. My sister in law called her during my event but she turned her phone off. I know this other venue did not belong to Bree, but it would have been nice to call the venue owner myself since she was out of town and probably couldnt do much. I also didnt appreciate her telling us she would stop by and never doing so. I definitely would not book with Bree again just based on this experience.

I loved visiting this establishment it is a duplex house (no ramp or handicapped parking). The plants were beautiful and well maintained but I did not see any exotic plants. The owner was knowledgable about her merchandise and she also sells bath products and oils it is a quaint little shop and very much worth a visit.

I have been following The Little House on Routh on social media for a while now and this past Saturday I finally got to experience it in person. I LOVED it and I can t wait to attend another event. It was so cute, beautifully decorated, very welcoming and just an overall great vibe! Bree is the hostess with the mostest and you can tell that she puts her heart into everything that she coordinates. I don t go out often with Covid, but I can honestly say that the environment was safe enough for me to feel comfortable bringing my baby with me :). Social distancing, masks and great vendors! I m happy with my purchases and I look forward to the next event that I m able to attend at The Little House on Routh !

Little House on Routh is the perfect spot for both indoor and outdoor events! Its decorated so cute and has plenty of space to set up for pop ups, baby showers, or even a girls day out brunch! This past weekend I was part of The Iman Projects CU RA TED outdoor market, the back space was perfect area to have multiple vendors and still feel safe during this time. Will definitely be back for more pop up events and would def consider this a spot to host a party!

Had a wonderful experience as a vendor. The location is amazing. The Curated Market Pop-Up was diverse and authentic. The Little House on Routh Street was the venue for my sister, for her non profit organization called Action With Compassion . This venue might be called The Little House on Routh Street , but it is mighty! I was impressed with how much space it actually provided. Every single room is quipped with every need you or your guest could possibly need. Beautifully decorated. The decor makes you feel like you are at home. I would highly recommend this venue for bridal shower, baby shower, meeting, work shop, photo shoot, etc the back yard is increasingly spacious as well. Perfect for an intimate ceremony.

This cozy house was the perfect place for a chic urban baby shower. The house was clean, maintained, plenty of seating, not to mention, lots of items that only added to the over all experience. I havent had a chance to attend an event here in person, but I took Brees Wine & Design Floral Workshop this past weekend. Even though it was virtual, it was still a great time! You pick up all of your supplies at The Little House on Routh (which is so cute btw!) and youre all set for the workshop in the comfort of your own home. Brees created a beautiful space that is welcoming to anyone and everyone. I cant wait to be able to attend workshops there in person when the time comes or maybe even host an event there!

I attended one of the Wine & Design workshops this past weekend and it was phenomenal! It was an easy pick up at the beautiful Little House and both Bree and Carlos were so friendly and welcoming. The flowers were STUNNING and we received extra goodies in addition to the wine and flowers, such as some beautiful bracelets. This workshop was virtual (#COVID) but was so much fun. The Jubilee Flower co instructed us on how to build our arrangements and watching her and Bree just felt like hanging out with your best friends. The mission for these workshops is so special as well. Ensuring we all have a seat at the table. If you have the opportunity to attend a workshop in person or virtually I HIGHLY recommend doing so!!!

Last month we hosted a pop up shop at the location in uptown. Here is the reason I am giving it one star. The place is nice but small. The owner was very rude and unprofessional. My partner and I ask a lot of questions when we invest our time and money into something. So needless to say this was the worst experience ever. Question after question there was never a consistent answer and the answers we were getting to our questions did not coincide with what was on the website. We were told one price and then told something else once we were close to the date for the event to take place. Ok that was fine so we paid the extra money(mind you, no one was ever available for us to look at the venue). So the day of the event my we walk in and have to rearrange the entire center so our vendors could set up(this was never mentioned to us). Again no biggie we moved things around and set up so we could proceed. After the event was over and vendors were gone we had to clean the place and ensure that everything was back in place in order to get our deposit back. There was an attendant on site while we were cleaning and looked everything over before giving us the ok to leave. Here it is 3 weeks, almost a month later we are just now receiving our deposit back. Not only that, my partner was belittled and told that she took a rug and a chair. If this was the case why did she received her deposit back and why wasnt this mention the first week after the event(there was another event held at this location on Dec 4). Then she proceed to tell her that she could not afford the place anyway and posted on her business social media pages. This is bad business!!!!!! As business owners, you do not belittle anyone or attack their character, this is not how you should operate. We will never recommend this place to anyone.

I was a vendor at a large event in June, and LHOR IS THE PERFECT VENUE - in the middle of Uptown Dallas, super cute interior, kitchen, large outdoor space in the back. Well designed and decorated backdrop for hosting workshops, intimate parties, or larger gatherings when combined with the outdoor space. I attended the Little House on Routh Curated Pop-Up event with 2 friends who had no idea where we were going- they were just coming along, well, because I asked them to! All of us agreed, it was so much fun! There were really cool brands represented that were selling unique pieces of cute clothing and fun jewelry! I picked up a couple of tops and an artsy ring that I adore. Everyone was so friendly, from the host and her team, to the vendors, to the people who attended! There were delicious refreshments, one of which we promptly purchased their product at the nearest store so that we could recreate their lemony drink! There were fun activities like succulent arranging, and stamping and more. It was really hot that day, so not only were the shops that were inside a respite from the heat, the house was adorable and perfect for an intimate event! Can t wait to see what happens with Little House of Bishop Arts- if it s anything like LHOR, it s going to be an incredible place to Gather. Keep up the great work!

We attended the Curated Pop Up market at Little House on Routh, and it was so fun! What a great way to spend an afternoon. It really had a mini festival vibe, they had vendors, a flower arranging table, make a bracelet bar, music & a tamale cart, (which was delicious). It felt good to purchase from fellow locals, I got some great merchandise, a beautiful dress & top, handmade jewelry, a couple of bday gifts & an awesome bandana for my dog. We definitely will be going back for the next one!

This Uptown Dallas space is absolutely the CUTEST. I was looking for a space that provided some great natural light while giving me options for multiple headshots. And Little House on Routh DID NOT disappoint. The first room in this quaint house is filled with plants and bring the outside in with plenty of gorgeous natural light. Next up is a complete kitchen with fridge, oven, stove, sink, tables and all you need if you ll be needing to prepare food for any event. Cute restroom is next on deck. And lastly, the final room has plenty of windows (again!) leaving it the perfect spot for more headshots I needed to capture. I recommend this place to any and all who ask me about a space for photography (family lifestyle, headshots, all the things!), workshops, pop-up, and more. You ll love it!!

This quaint space is used often for workshops I ve attended. You walk through the door and the house gives you a hug! So much love and warmth exudes from this house! The space is wonderful for workshops and intimate get together s! There s a kitchen, restroom and two spaces perfect for small get togethers. I have hosted 2 Sip & Shop events here and absolutely love the space. The location is perfect and fit over 75 people (in and out traffic) pretty comfortably. This space is already picturesque, but you can transform it into anything. I absolutely love the space and would recommend it to my friends. Actually, several of my friends have hosted events here its that amazing!

Hosted my podcast launch party here! Bree was very professional throughout the whole booking process. We did overspend our welcome the day of event by 30 mins but that s what deposits are for Bree was so nice about it! I loved doing business with Bree! My first time here was for a friend s bridal shower. I thought it was such a super cute place! And wondered how did they find it? My second time visiting Little House on Routh was for a workshop put on by Dallas Influencers. I stopped by the coffee house down the street before the event started. While I was there, I notice a woman who was posting a flyer. Little did I know she was the owner of Little House on Routh. My immediate impression was how friendly and down to Earth she was. The event was located in a room that I did not see for the bridal shower so, I was excited to see more. My most recent visit was for the Curated Event. There were so many unique and talented vendors there. The DJ and food were awesome! I love seeing how the venue is so inclusive and is a space where people can connect! And they are always redecorating the place. Every time I visit it looks different. Although I don t plan on hosting any events anytime soon, I highly recommend using this venue. I can t wait to attend future events!
