Honed by decades of service and experience, Occams blade holds true in the steady hands of this eminent surgeon of words. Several times over the past three years he had to take back a recurrent cancer of apathy and ignorance out from the dim gaslight into brilliance, and cut down further to healthy, correctly functioning structure and processes. Because of Patrick and his legal team, I have tension-free closure with early retirement rather than a prolonged, draining, mishandled separation for physical disqualification due to occupational injuries. They are way too expensive, they charged me 9500 and only had to go to court one time, they would not refund any of the money and would not take my sons case that was also involved with no extra charge, they would not answer any questions regarding parole, even when it was just a legal question. If your case is simple, don t go here!!! they seen me coming !!!!

Mr. McLain and his team were with me every step of the way for my two year long battle in the military court system, from my confinement to my full acquittal. The experience, passion and most importantly the care provided cannot be beaten. I would get consistent phone calls making sure that I was okay mentally, and not letting myself get painted as a number or a problem despite my commands efforts. Patrick does not sleep. He does not rest until the job is done. He is blunt and will tell you what is going on in every situation, making sure that you have an informed decision with honest feedback. When I called his office I spoke to Jose about the case. I was told Patrick was a pit bull and would fight hard for my son in a military case. Communication was horrible, the first time I spoke to him it felt like I was disrespected told not to speak and he did all the talking. His staff was a pleasure to work with. Him not so much. When my son would have conversation with him he felt same way like it was beneath him to speak to him. The witnesses were never contacted, day of hearing he was shocked to hear and see me there and was told he was never informed of his familys presence. Then I get an email/text stating call office and pay more money. Day of trial the Jag attorney was second chair and my son in middle. Jag said to my son tell him Objection and he refused. We as the family were so angry and frustrated we wanted to fire him and my son said were already hear just lets see where it goes from here. It got worse. He stumbled talking to Judge, always asked to repeat question. He acted like he was very distracted or extremely jet laged he was not tracking at all. Everytime we looked at him instead of paying attention he was on his lap top not following the case. The worst 50k + ever spent. On the 3rd day having no concern for taking care of his client the only thing he cared about was more money. He was not going to stay for day 3 unless he got more money. My advise find another attorney, one who actually cares and not just about money but the client he is representing. After talking to more familys who hired other attorneys for there case more serious than ours they got better representation and people skills with a better out come.

Amazing attorney. I never want to have the need for an attorney; however, when I did need one - I am so glad that Patrick McLain was available. He is very blunt. He will tell you like it is - and keep the conversation short. However, when you are in need - he really steps up. Watching him get ready for a hearing is pretty impressive as well. The entire team did such a superior and professional job for me, in my hour(s) of need, it has taken me almost a month (from the end of the trial) to put words to paper, and express my gratitude. I have known Patrick and his wife for over 40 years, a great Marine and a great family man. However, I never thought I would need his services. I was VERY wrong and VERY glad I knew him and his team. I have nothing but admiration for the professionalism, honor, dedication, and skills of the team of Patrick J. McLain, Eric Durojaiye, Jerry Ray, Michelle Araujo, Natalie McLain, and all the other team members who assisted with my case, at the Law Office of Patrick J. McLain. I have been a Banker for almost 40 years. In December of 1985, as a favor to a friend at a local charity, I donned a Santa suit, and assisted with food and gift distribution to indigent families in the Grand Prairie Community. Little did I know this would become a 35+ year side gig for me, assisting local charities and non-profits all over the DFW MetroPlex as Santa Claus. In December of 2021, while volunteering at the Grand Prairie Chamber of Commerce Christmas party, I was unjustly accused of inappropriately touching two young ladies. I had done nothing wrong, and refused to plead guilty (or no-contest) to something I did not do. While it was ONLY a Class C Misdemeanor, my reputation in the community was at stake. In a small community, and to a home town Community Banker, reputation is of paramount importance. Patrick, Eric, Jerry, Michelle and the entire team treated it (and me) like it was a life and death matter, because to me, it WAS. The, interviews, delays, discovery, scheduling, re-scheduling, additional witness interviews, multiple prosecutorial postponements and changes went on for OVER a year and a half. Through it all, the team at the Law Office of Patrick J. McLain kept me informed, protected, prepared, and ready for battle. When I finally got my day in court, Eric, Jerry and Patrick were there every step of the way, by my side, defending me against misstatements of the prosecutor s witnesses, and the slanderous, manipulative overreach by the team of prosecutors. In the end we prevailed; a unanimous decision by the jury of NOT GUILTY on all charges. If you re accused of a crime, hire Mr. McLain. You won t find someone that works harder to keep you out of a cage. I ve had Mr. McLain on my case for over 18 months due to a continuation, and he never stopped picking away at any possible government case. His closing argument alone was worth every penny. If you have a legal matter in the military, Patrick is the lawyer you want. Ive had Patrick on two different occasions to support me in legal issues in my career in which the case was either dropped or found not guilty. Both cases had to do with positive urinalysis. The first case was in 2008 as a junior service member, in which I requested court-martial, and the command dropped the case. The second was in 2021, in which the command sent me to an administrative board instead of allowing me to request court-martial, and the administration board voted in my favor, two to one. Patrick McLain literally saved my life. I was facing a allegation that carried a life sentence and would have torn me from my family. The opposition was highly motivated to nail me to the wall due to today s climate of victim hood I was in a perilous position. Patrick is a busy man and so his approach is not tender, but if you need someone to fight a war for you it is not tenderness you need. As a military academy cadet, our son was facing a sexual assault charge during the height of the epidemic of such accusations in our country. His case also coincided with a national news story regarding how the academy was addressing these types of issues within the academy and the resulting shake up of their sexual assault prevention office. Patrick McLain put his heart and soul into our sons case. He worked seamlessly with our sons assigned military legal team and utilized every available resource to understand the true facts of the case and bring these facts to light. Patrick, and team, have been by my side for the better part of a year. I hired him in response to an alleged article 92 violation geared towards fraternization. Frankly, I was the subject of a witch-hunt and my command had made me out to be some kind of super villain. Being stationed in Japan there is a 14-15 hour time difference, but anytime I called someone would answer the phone. I have had attorneys before that were next to impossible to get in contact with after I hired them, not the case with Patrick. Which went a long way in making me feel confident in my decision to hire him. Patrick is one of the few attorneys that will set a fixed, not hourly, price. I did not have to pay him per email or phone conversation, which is typical with other law firms. The price for his services was well beyond fair, especially when you tally up all the hours he put into my case. Patrick never pushed me towards a decision. He would present options and weigh pros and cons with me. Whatever choices I made, he was ready to formulate a battle plan. Before going to court, he would run me through possible courtroom scenarios, which paid off during the trial. When we had our day in court, I could not have gotten a better outcome. He kept me from losing my rank, my honorable discharge and my money. Best of all, I finally felt vindicated, which was the most important. Patrick McLain is THE EXPERT on the military justice system! Before I realized I needed an attorney, I thought my situation was a easily explained and easily understood mistake. I found myself being (subtly at first) ostracized and excluded from meetings, conferences, and correspondence --- all that were directly related to my area of responsibility. It dawned on me, via a we need to ensure the is are dotted and ts are crossed, from one of my bosses, that the easily explained, easily understood was going to cost me my 25+ year retirement - the result of a lot of sacrifices and opportunities foregone.
