This place has some cool vibes and nice people but the brunch and cocktails were a let down. The pictures look so good but the food was lacking seasoning and cocktails were sickly sweet. I got the cool as a cucumber and felt nauseous from how sweet it was. The server gave us some 1/2 coupons for next time because I didnt finish my meal or drink, which was nice but I dont think Ill visit again. Also the dress code isnt that serious, lots of casual outfits here.

Came to this place and it was a great choice. Their dynamite shrimp is die for. I tried garden of temptation drink and hell yeah it s sooo good. Tried several food and nothing made me disappointed. We came from out of town for work and we were recommended this spot and the drinks and menu was so delicious. The vibe was upscale and elegant. We had a table of 6 and food came out on time, hot and delicious. Will definitely be back. This is for the grown and sexy crowd. Oh the drink and cocktail menu was so well curated it felt like Vegas. Loved this spot.

When I moved to Dallas in 1989 I lived in the apartments next door. It was The Office Lounge back in those days. We had a band and they would let us play on Sunday night for free beer. The Goat is a cool happening place. I really miss it since I moved 420 miles south. I have a good audio recording of us jamming there in 1990. My old drummer J. W. Hammett was really good about recording our jams. It takes me back to the good ole days. Since Schooners is long gone and the whole area has changed The Goat is probably the coolest bar in the area. Last year I met an awesome harmonica player named Kirk from Alaska. He spends at least one month every winter in Port Aransas. Somewhere along his travels he had jammed at The Goat...its a small world....peace out....

Great dive bar. Only bar I frequent in the city of Dallas. There are no pretentions here. Beer is cold, music is great. They have jam bands on the weekends. Place is jumping. Pool table is always running. Snake, the bartender is the best. Old school place. Go today!!!! Only reason I didnt give any stars for food is the last time I was there they didnt have any. But they do have potlucks and there is a few restaurants in the area they allow you to bring food in. Thanks Goat for some really good times. Parking: Kinda fills up quick on weekends, and they share a lot with the gym next door. Wheelchair accessibility: A little hairy, but manageable.

KJ was pretty rude and a little strange all night. My friend left her phone there and we went back while they were cleaning up. Instead of offering to help out, he just kept saying we open at 7am. really?? Thank goodness one of the bartenders overheard and gave it back

If you like Texas Blues and want an environment as close as possible to the old juke joints, this place is for you. Reasonably priced drinks, comfortable chairs and live music on most weekend nights. In 1912 Hart Wand put out the first Blues song- Dallas Blues and here you have right smack in the center of Dallas an original Blues Bar. Your standard drinks are here, PBR to Coors but if your hankering for a drink with a diminutive umbrella, maybe not. Notarized in many Dallas magazines and other publications and kept alive by word of mouth The GOAT may be the greatest of all time but it s former owner Bill put it this way - The GOAT is just the best dive in Dallas .

We went to the Goat on a Thursdsy night. The place was hopping. There was a band playing and the crowd was chill. There is a large area to dance, and the music was authentic and real. The guys in the band were friendly and polite. The establishment was clean and tidy. The workers behind the bar were on spot and attentive. The lady made us special shots as well. (Cinnamon toast crunch). I will definitely go back to The Goat for a fun place to hang out.

Place is ok. But sometimes they complain about. How many drinks you get. Sometimes you just want to get off work & Get a few drinks or shots with some friends at a bar. If you get more than 4 drinks here they stop serving you or complain about how many drinks you got. & They dont know how to make a lot of popular drinks. No other bar does this. Better off going to any other bar. Only thing this place has for it is kareoke sometimes.

It is a charming place. Typical authentic rock club. Then, it has the bad things about this type of clubs (a lot of strange characters, dirt, smells...). I like the place, but its clear that you have to like this type of place. Authentic places are missed in Dallas and this, without a doubt, is one of them.

Great little neighborhood spot. I didnt get a chance to listen to any live music, though because they do karaoke one day a week, but Ill be back for the music. The bar is divey but charming. Not trying to be anything else. Im so grateful to have a venue for musicians in the area. The pizza shop next door is owned by the same ppl so they let you buy a pizza and eat it in the bar. The bartender was very attentive.

Would be better if the bartenders cared about the customer more. No specialty shots that they know and hard to get to serve. Two bartenders and a bar back for a crowd one good bartender could handle alone. Only upside is a heavy pour but service is not the best. I travel all over for dive bars and all of them have shot specials but the bartenders here say you re at a dive bar we don t have shot specials ????? Really

Went a Sunday night to this horrible place, the bartender was the rudest woman I have ever meet, we were sitting at the bar and she ignored us and after she finally decided to pay some attention to us pretended she did not understand us; she claim to be the manager too ! She didn t even know what a Long Island tea was. Very disappointing!
