This is a cool sports bar located in the Omni Hotel. Enjoy the views of the hotel as you walk through to go to The Owners Box. I went late Saturday night. I ordered the BBQ bacon burger, fries, and a side salad; all were delicious. My gf ordered the shrimp tacos. The shrimp tacos were so so and definitely not worth the price. We also ordered two drinks. The Texas drink which had pear and whiskey was delicious. The only thing Id add is that it should be served colder than it was. My gf had the Pick Six; she had no complaints. The atmosphere and service were great. We would definitely go back.

We have tried to eat twice @ this location, we were seated promptly both times,and both times we were ignored the first time last year we waited about 10 min then walked out. This time we waited about 5 minutes and no one greeted us or anything. So we walked out. No one said a word as we walked out. I own a automotive repair facility and if I treated these folks the way they treat their guest I would be out of business and they would be livid. I hope the generic response of we are sorry is not the result of this post. Yall could increase your revenue by over 50% if you would fix the customer service issue. Your restaurant has a problem. Take a minute to look at your negative reviews. Its pretty obvious. But its very easy to fix.

Our bartender gave our credit card to someone else. We didn t get an apology and we re left feeling like it was our fault. No follow up call. Really disappointed. Be careful when you there. Had to cancel our card that our rental car and housing is secured with because he didn t pay attention.

Not much open at this time so came in to grab a quick bite after arriving. Our server Ndidi was very friendly and provided good recommendations. The humus came with lots of vegetable, maybe a little too much compared to the amount of hummus, the fried garbanzo beans mixed in was a nice touch. Chicken tinga tacos, though Americanized hit the spot. Burger was ok and we substituted the crowds for cob salad.

Less than 3 minutes left in the Iowa basketball game and we get kicked out of our seats because they are reserved for dinners. Bar was full, I was with my over 70 year old parents who need to sit. Over half the seats were open in the dining area and they would not let me parents have a seat. This shows lack of common sense at this place. Thanks for ruining our night.

When we arrived through the back entrance, workers just looked didn t greet us then finally one worker told us to check in with the hostess. Sat down ordered our food, took forever to get our drinks had to remind the waitress, food arrived not hot, my husbands chicken wings were not fully cooked, very disappointing for how expensive it is. The waitress seemed inexperienced, 5 star hotel should be doing better. McDonalds would have been a better choice after having that experience.

Came here for a quick lunch meeting. The chicken tinga tacos were tasty! They were made with shredded chicken for those wondering. We also had the chicken club sandwich. What was tasty too. My lemon drop was mixed to perfection! Best I ve had ever. Was equal parts tangy as well as sweet. Loved it. Parking: Bring your parking receipt so they can give you a complimentary card for it.

My wife and I walked in at 7pm on 9/8/24 and no one was a the host counter. we walked to the bar where there were 5 or so employees talking to each other and very few people at the bar. I asked to be seated and they said to see the host counter. I told them no one was there and they said I could sit and some small booths near the bar or wait to be seated. We sat at the both and it was several minutes later the person at the bar came over with two classes of water, silverware and a single menu and walked away. I was surprised she didnt take a drink order. A few minutes later she walked back over and said Did you figure it out yet. I said no we are still trying to decide. Again she walked away without taking a drink order. We decided at that point to leave and go to a different restaurant that had much better service. Atmosphere was ok I guess and I cant speak to the food, but the service was terrible. No reason to go back.

No blame to the server, it was her second day. Blame on the manager/other servers who let her take a 16 top table on her second day. Therefore, she put in our 16 orders and when we got half the food, we were missing 6 meals still. Server never came back since taking our order so we had to flag someone down about it. We then got 1 more meal (an app as entree), then the server came and asked how we re doing. We replied we re still missing 5 meals (two people got a chicken caesar and one got theirs and not the other lol) and the server went to the back to see what s up. Came back and retook our missing orders and got it on the fly. Still missing one and had to ask AGAIN! Got our food and as we re eating our food, bussers are trying to grab plates as we re eating from them, I straight up had to say no I m literally eating as your pulling, no . Then when we paid, two missing meals got comped but not the others and it took a long time to get our cards back and we even had another table s paid receipts get dropped off at our table. Had to ASK for our cards back. Again, not mad at the server, it was her second day and probably a hectic one, but a manager should have taken it upon themselves to take the table altogether or at least help her serve us. Extremely disappointed in this place after 5:00pm. Guess I should have read the reviews on the service, it still hasn t changed after so many complaints. Service was none existan, no one attended us even though waitstaff was passing by our table several times. My husband asked 3 different waiters who was assigned to our table and if they could please come over, but yet no one ever came( literally no one came from 5-10:00pm until we asked to speak to a manager). When we brought it up to Richard the manager he simply said your prior waiter before 5pm should have introduced you to the new waiter, that s out policy. How could our prior waiter introduce us to someone who wasn t there!!! Our waiter left at about 5:10 and no new wait staff was visible. He literally blamed the prior employee instead of taking responsibility and talking to the waitress that was in charge of our area. He just completely dismissed our concerns. I m sure our table is assigned to someone, he just kept making excuses. After no one bothered to take our order, my husband just got up and ordered from the bar. I will give props to the Bar staff for bringing our food/drinks, which that is not their job since we were no where near the bar area. Robert our waiter at 3pm was Excellent!!! Very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive, can t say the same for the staff at 5pm to close and that includes Richard the manager that said he was doing accounting all night to step out of the back and greet guess.

I was a guest at the Omni and decided to call in my order. The young lady who answered the phone was talking; but not to me. I didn t know rather to hang up or call back. When she came back to the phone she asked me my name then was silent. I then proceeded to say I would like to order take out. She asked for my room number and call back number and said my order would be ready in 10min. Once we got there she said they did not have what we ordered. She could have called me for that .she had my number. Hostess customer service was bad. She directed us to the bar to wait for our order. The lady at the bar was very nice and upbeat and the only reason I gave a 3. The pretzel was hard, the wings undercooked, the burger was ok, and the fries would have been good if they had not been cold.

The service and food were pretty good. I will return. Update: When I returned home, I realized I was charged for two tickets. Both are over $100. I am currently trying to get in touch with management to no avail. Whoever is answering the phone and hanging up and putting it to voice mail needs to be trained better. Overall a real disappointment . Started off with the greeter. She seemed unhappy to be employed. Asked for outdoor seating, and she just handed us a menu and said youll need to order food at the bar. After going outside and seeing the wooden picnic tables, we opted to sit inside. We found a table, next to the window. Asked the waitress working the section, if this table was available. She also looked put off, and said youll need to talk to the hostess. So we walked back to the front and asked if we could have this table. She sat as at the table we requested. Now the waitress, you could tell was put off that we were sitting at the table. Very lackadaisical service, and sat for over 10 minutes waiting for our check. I ve been going to the Owner s Box for about 9 years. They are getting more & more disappointing with each visit AND I still keep giving them chances. First, I ll start by saying our server was great & made great drinks at the bar (I sat at the bar). I went here on Sunday 5/14 with a relative. We both ordered Buffalo wings. The wings were TERRIBLE. Barely ANY sauce/absolutely NO flavor. A waste of money. A frozen bag of Buffalo wings from Walmart would ve probably tasted much better. The wings and flavor used to be great! It s also disappointing that they ONLY have BBQ and Buffalo flavor. If I come back, I will never order the wings again. Adding a picture, the presentation is fine but the wings in the picture only look good if you re currently hungry. Don t be deceived.

I had an incredible experience at this restaurant. The waitress, Yasmin, was so friendly and attentive. She gave excellent suggestions and was always available to answer questions. The food was absolutely delicious with a wide variety of options; my favorite entree was the crispy buffalo-style gulf shrimp, which was perfect. I also enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant, which had a sports-theme. I highly recommend this restaurant; you ll be sure to have a great time! I give the restaurant and the waitress 5 stars!

Im sure its great when they serve food. They used to have a reduced late night menu. Dont expect to get a bite after 11pm now. Its the middle of a freeze. Everything surrounding was closed. Rather than opt to serve their clientele when everything else was closed (including all the restaurants on the property), they shut down at 11. Thats totally reasonable given the circumstances but dont for one second expect an above and beyond experience here.

So wife placed a togo order due to the restaurant being busy for the game. Got the food and checked the bag to find the chicken tacos not in the bag and asked for ranch dressing as a substitute for honey mustard and that was missing as well (asking for ranch as a substitute is a charge). Immediately went back to the bar and told the bartender we were missing the chicken tacos she went back to the kitchen to look for them and the kitchen didnt make them. So we had to wait another 15 minutes to get the tacos all while the other food was getting cold. After getting our missed meal I stopped by the hostess desk and asked for the manager. She asked what happened I told her what happened with the missed meal. She left to go talk to the manager. She came back saying they could only take 15% off (mind you that the 15% off was less than the cost of the meal that they missed) most restaurants would have taken the meal they missed off the ticket and said how sorry they were. I got the feeling as the manager could have cared less about me or our food that his staff missed. Do better than this. Take care of your customers, mistakes happen.

We had a group of well over 100 people in the bar for hours and all the bartenders were hustling non stop to take care of us all. Kudos!

Ive been here previously and recall a better experience. Granted there was a cheer competition at the Convention Center and pretty crowded. Our party could not be seated together. The high tables that can hold large groups had two or three people sitting at them. Service was good. My fring was excellent.

The picture should explain it all. I ordered the chicken and spicy avocado dish and that s exactly what they gave me. Salty chicken, some tomato rings, lettuce, and small pieces of avocado. For twenty dollars, I expected a lot more than leftovers from a unused chicken sandwich.

Wish they didnt take off the brisket! That was my main reason why Id go for on my lunch break...nachos are my thing and that brisket had me dreaming the night before. Bring brisket back!! I still go for lunch and have tried all the menu still that brisket I crave!
