Only rating on the breakfast: the buffet is pretty weak given the high price ($25). Its a glorified Hampton Inn variety for the buffet, plus a menu you can order from a la carte. If youre staying here its fine, but not worth the price if youre dropping in. Make sure your coffee pot isnt cold.

The menu has changed since covid (trio salad option removed) and prices have increased but it has changed into a subpar hotel restaurant. Once upon a time the simple quesadillas and salmon were wonderful but now they lack luster. Perfect place for happy hour and last minute hotel meals. I personally would search the area for other options unless this is the ONLY option available.

Great service and food. We had the wings and cheese pizza. The pizza came out looking overcooked, and after attempting to pick it up, it was hard as a rock. When I brought it to the servers attention, he offered to have a new pizza made. This one was perfect!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this establishment, where I ordered a Reuben sandwich for lunch. It was delightful and exactly what I needed to satisfy my hunger. Alongside my meal, I enjoyed a well-prepared old-fashioned. The staff were notably helpful and friendly, contributing to an overall pleasant experience. Returned a salad previously for being burnt (yes, that s correct) bartender told me to GTFO using profanity, waitress cried, and then bartender attempted to attack me. Reported to corporate and never got a call back. 0/5* s. Should have filed that police report! I have to add the elderly manager has ruined the food by changing suppliers. His drinks are also water with food coloring and he tends to be lost in a fog. Please get better management.

Affordable lunch buffet! This place is truly a hidden gem. The service was friendly, and helpful. Whether youre staying at the hotel attached, sitting out a layover from lovefield or work in the area, this is a great place for lunch and I can only imagine dinner is just as good. They have a nice outdoor patio to watch the planes fly over from and plenty of parking the back. The floors were kind of gross and sticky; is my only complaint.

Theyve always had a great lunch buffet! I wired the place when it was Sporting News Grill. Been eating there ever since whenever Im in the neighborhood. Dissadamnpointed. There was nobody else there when we came in that shouldve been a sign. But it was just after traditional lunch time so we were game. Immediately we were offered wasters and it just went downhill from there. Now why they had no lemons idk but limes were provided. Waters came back I explained I had a plane to catch. We order food I ask for a drink menu takes like 10 min guy comes back with it... mind you there are NO OTHER patrons at this time. I order the drink we wait like 15 20 min. Again I advise we have a flight he said food is coming. Another 10 min or so here comes the food. I ordered bowtie pasta with GRILLED shrimp. Ive got a pic of the dish..its more like chilled shrimp. I send them back (but why bring out shrimp you KNEW were cold). More shrimp comes out clearly not grilled by at least sautéed. It nearly time for me to head to airport so I send it back. Yes they removed it from the bill but for the life of me I cant understand why the service was so slow. There were at least 3 waiters so surely there is at least 2 cooks. First and last time.

We came in while staying at the hotel for a late dinner. There was only a few people there when we came in but the service was not the best. The guy seemed to be ready to end his day. We just got a burger and I got the loaded potato skins as a snack and the food was okay. I would hope the service is better during busier times, but dont know for sure. The restaurant was clean and well kept. I guess we will try it again if we are in the area.

Nice place to go when you re staying at the hotel. They have really friendly and helpful staff a nice bar with really good drinks. My favorite was the deep ellum IPA. Generous servings of food and decent prices. We should ve fajitas which is more than enough for two people and came with a huge side salad. Perfect!

I have had MUCH better food elsewhere for the price. Dont bother looking online for the prices as they dont reflect the prices in person. Everything is at least $2 more than what the website shows. We ordered the chicken tenders and the carnitas tacos. Absolutely no seasoning or flavor on either. They looked great and have a decent portion size, but it was not to be enjoyed while eating due to lack of flavor. Service was okay, but they were understaffed, as is the new norm...

Beer was luke warm at best hidden by a cold glass this kind of bait and switch after a long day was not welcome experience ordered a burger, it was busy due to Monday night football but not busy enough to wait as long as I did once it came over I realized why I waited, it was DYING under a heat lamp the fries were limp and cold and the burger was dry with the cheese coagulated . My waitress was kind and bought my warm beer and I tipped her as it was not her fault at all Oh and my plate had blue cheese crumbles and pieces of bacon on it 2 things that were NOT on the burger I ordered

Walked in @ 10pm on a Saturday when hours state 12am as closing. Sat down at a high top near the head of the bar. The waitress seen us come in and walked right by us without even acknowledging us. She went the other tables and then disappeared to the kitchen. The bartender looked at us a couple of times but never said anything or indicated we needed to order at the bar. We walked out after sitting for almost 10 mins. Not sure what was going on as sign said Please Seat Yourself and there were around 10-12 people in the restaurant.

We dine here often and have breakfast before leaving or flying out. This restaurant/bar is such a superb dining/bar that even if we were not staying at Doubletree, we would dine here. The food is great, the bar is just what is needed when you want a cocktail or a great draft beer. The breakfast buffet can not be beat. Honestly the best variety of fresh fruit, cheeses, even smoked salmon. They also serve eggs, roasted potatoes with peppers, stewed tomatoes, sausage, bacon, breads and waffles. Be careful with the morning buffet. Personally, I am not a fan of the moldy strawberries, brown mushy pineapple, watered down waffle batter, and unmopped floors. The lead cook or manager should quality control the food on occasion and maybe check an expiration date once and a while. The fantastic waitresses make this place feel like my home away from home. Tiara, Maggie, Patty, and Sandra always take great care of the customers. Love this place!

Just wonderful people. Wonderful service too. They went out of their way to get settled--two thumbs up. Its Doubletree. I rarely give 10/10, but Doubletree Hilton made my Dallas experience ...again, Wonderful.

The service here is outstanding, standard hotel fare, but good quality. Ive been coming to this restaurant for almost 20years and through all the iterations of hotel brands, the crew here has remained excellent.
