I had an American classic! A steak house cheeseburger, which had a succulent fat patty with all the right toppings lettuce / tomatoes and not too overpowering onions (NO PICKLES) they give you mayo and ketchup on side. I like mayo on top bun applied by self. I like that you create your burg to how you like it. Sweet potato fries were really nice surprise, some of them were a little too salty. All good over all. I want to try the French Dip. Super pricey 18.40$ for a meal. Sheesh.

Frech dip and fries. Aujus was scummy. Chef should have skimmed gravy. House made horseradish was nasty, and lemon garlic aioli was just mayo. We were in a porch with the aisle too small for the waiter to get by. The waiter was great, though. They did not live up to their reputation.

Three friends and I enjoyed Saturday brunch at Woodlands recently. The food was delicious as usual; however, the best part of our meal came from our server, Cindy. Ive never had such a special experience from a server. Cindy knew all the tricks of taking care of her customers even down to preparing our leftovers in unique take-home fashion so they would be secure until we were ready to once again enjoy at home. For instance, she made sure the remaining half of my fish sandwich was secured so it would stay together and not fall apart during transport. Unfortunately, as I often do, I left the bag at the restaurant and was disappointed when realizing it didnt arrive home with me. Anything needed while dining was swiftly taken care of by Cindy. She was sharp and obviously very experienced. I like that Woodlands menu is filled with varied choices to satisfy different tastes. Each time a friend visits from out of town, she insists on dining at Woodlands, and is especially fond of the crab cake Benedict on the brunch menu.

My Wife and I went here for dinner the other night. It s definitely has an upscale feel to it for being a grill and a nice ambiance to it. Great place to take a date or if you just want a nice place to eat. Their services was top notch. Our server, Shawn made sure we didn t want or need to ask for anything. When looking at the menu he was able to answer any and all of our questions. He also made several suggestions and well versed in any specials available. The food was good and delicious for the most part. We started with the calamari great presentation, cooked properly and was paired with what tasted like 2 different homemade dips both delicious. I got the steak with a Loaded Baked Potato. The steak was seasoned to perfection and cooked just the way I asked. My wife got the French dip with sweet potato fries. The French dip was ok and the au jus that it came with it was rather bland and didn t have much flavor this was my only disappointment with our meal. The sweet potato fries that came with it were some of the best I ve ever had and served with a homemade aioli sauce that was superb. We finished our meal by sharing a white chocolate Raspberry Crème Brûlée that was very delightful and very rich it also came with 2 cookies. We were happy we shared it. Overall I loved this place and will definitely be coming back.

We didnt have a reservation for lunch, so we were seated by the back door entrance. My seat was in the isle right by the door which meant everytime someone came in I had to stop eating, get up, get my seat bumped, I was hit several times by people coming in also. The waiter was OK, but kept reaching over me while I was eating which was very rude but he couldnt go around my chair because I was in the isle by the wall. The fruit tray was pretty good, the calamari was not fried hard enough and was too soft. The spinach dip was really good. The fish and chips wasnt seasoned but Im from New Orleans and love spicy Ave seasoned food. The overall experience just wasnt good for the price I paid

Woodland s is a decent place for an ordinary meal- the menu and preparation aren t anything remarkable but it has its place. The vegetables are fresh, the fish is prepared well; although the technique is middling. It s a place for a casual dinner. Parking: Has its own lot but also is connected to a larger lot that belongs to a shopping center. Wheelchair accessibility: We dined with an elderly couple, one of whom needs a walker and she was able to access the building easily. There are no stairs and the sidewalk leads directly up to the door.

It was alright, more akin to a diner than I thought it would be. The bread service is basically croutons. Got the turkey club and it was definitely not a club without the piece of bread in the middle. My boyfriend ordered the steak medium and it was served rather rare. The creme brulee on the dessert menu was pretty tasty.

My partner and I came here a few weeks ago because of the AMAZING reviews . we both have a good nose for lively, trendy, delicious food experiences. Despite the amazing reviews online which allured us, this was NOT it. It felt like an iHop that was trying it s best to be upscale, especially with the pricing on the menu. The service lacked efficiency and connection. We did not feel cared about, but rather just as customers. When my partner s steak came it was DRY. Not the slightest bit of juice on the plate. We couldn t even believe it was served to him. Despite eating what he could, we both found it tough, fatty, (for a filtet) dry and bland. Get this; we are both servers at upscale steak houses! The bread starter was so dry and crunchy it hurt our teeth, and the spinach artichoke dip tasted so fattening and thick rather than balanced. I do NOT recommend for foodies or those looking for service that feels warm and inviting. Please beware of the high rating for this location.

Breakfast Bowl no longer overwhelmed by potatoes, bacon perfect - crispy and not greasy, perfect scrambled eggs with chives or bits of green onion, nice little sausages and a nice small fruit/berry bowl to finish. I ve dined at The Woodlands for years and love the food. We relocated and were back in Dallas for my husband s birthday and booked dinner here. My husband and I walked in and we told the woman we had a reservation. She looked at it on her iPad and walked away. A waiter nearby saw what happened and he came to us and apologized for her by saying she s into her regulars. The message was we were not important enough for her to do her job by seating us.

If you want a party larger than 12, this restaurant won t allow you to have separate checks. So only one person will have to pay and then collect cash from all of the people attending and make change. Our lunch group, which has met there more than once a year for many, many years, won t be going there again. Too bad. Not customer service friendly. They d rather turn away the business than spend the time to make separate checks. I guess they care more about their wait staff (despite the lost 20% tips) than they care about their customers.

First off, want to say service did start off great. We had our party adjusted, but was kinda sad at the slow service. This didn t apply to our server, as our food came out slow for a table of 10. We have been to fancier restaurants that our food comes out within the hour, but our food took an estimate of 2 hours to come out. The menu is exaggerated and prices too over their quality of taste. Not to be rude, but this restaurant is more so for a certain group of people who have money to throw. For the price and drinks, it is not expected quality as served. Understaffed, slow cooks for big groups, and even a cockroach popping up on the floor to surprise us. Our server even broke a glass and forgot a part of our order. No fuss and upset myself we have been there for over 2 hours Will not come back to this place.

Great food, but the service was not good. We were a group, more Than 8, but still half the food was delivered 10 minutes after the first part.

Went with a group, no reservations. Some of us are picky and asked for recommendations. The recs were excellent (trout) as was everything we all ordered. I had the fish and chips. The battered cod was as good as I could expect, tender with not too much batter. The service was excellent, as well.

Excellent food and service. It is a little expensive. The bread was different and delicious. The ribeye and baked potato were the best. Highly recommend.

Our party of eight met for brunch or lunch on Sunday. Service was friendly and prompt, the food well executed and diverse. The breakfast bowl I ordered was tasty, including scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage, bacon, biscuit, and fruit.

Vincent my waiter was superb, very attentive. I sat on the bistro and enjoyed delightful food alone. I had spinach and artichoke dip with pita chips and aioli for the appetizer. Then fish and sea salt sweet potato with a creamy horseradish.

Really a wonderful place! The food was delicious and the service was very friendly! Only reason that I give it 4 stars was the lack of gluten-free appetizer options and itd be helpful if allergens were listed on the menu. However, the waitress was very patient and helpful in answering my questions and checking with the kitchen to confirm, and I found a dish that was absolutely delicious - the chicken cordon bleu with brussel sprouts. Plus creme broke brulee for dessert!

Waitstaff was 6 stars. Ribeye steak was good (oddly came with teriyaki as well as mango sauce on the side). They were out of baked potatoes to accompany the steak. For a steak house that is an odd thing to be out of. The salmon was overly salty. Bummer cuz I was missing good salmon from the PNW. And for desert they advertised they had fresh apple cobbler.. which they were also out of. 6pm on a Friday

Ive eaten here a few times and the food is always amazing. Recently I ordered their Caprese Chicken Sandwich and sweet potato fries. Another time I ordered their Westcott Steak Salad. I would highly recommend both dishes. The service is really great too. There was a mistake made on my last pick up order but they were quick to resolve it and gave me a free drink while I waited. Parking is limited and quickly fills up. I parked down in the grocery store parking lot and walked up to the restaurant last time I went. Update: I took my parents here on Tuesday and we all loved it! My husband and I shared the filet mignon. It was good because it is an 8 oz. and 4 oz. was plenty for me. It was served with mashed potatoes, mushrooms and broccolini. It was also served with a kind of soy sauce that was a little too salty for me. We ordered some of their macaroni and cheese on the side as well and that was delicious. I probably would have liked a different kind of pasta better than penne. We asked for their bread service and the bread was delicious and warm. The service was phenomenal. The host made sure we were comfortable. She first sat us at a booth but it was a little snug with a car seat for our baby on the bench. She then moved us to a table that was tucked away and there was lots of space for us and the baby. She also brought us a sling. Our waiter provided great service and he was very friendly and accommodating.

Its been awhile since I have been at the Woodlands. My coworker and I decided to go have lunch there. I always love walking in to see the glass waterfall. It is so intriguing. I was happy that my memory served me right because the food, service and ambiance was perfect! Loved every minute!

Nice environment, a bit less dressy than a Hillstone restaurant. Bartender Veronica gets an 11 out of 10 - super friendly. Hummus was a miss, but the cedar plank salmon salad was a nice entree. Half price glasses of wine on Wednesdays makes this the night to go. Chocolate brownie dessert was over-the-top delicious - well worth the calories!

Obsessed with coming to this place for lunch now. It was great the first time I came in December, so I tried it again yesterday and it was even better! The menu is great but it s the quality of the food and the taste that keeps me coming back. The service & timing is also great, which is especially great when it comes to getting back to the office in a reasonable time.
