Did not follow allergy restrictions, then were rude about remaking the food. Service was extremely slow and the bare minimum. The restaurant was loud and empty on a Sunday. They had someone at the door checking IDs so I can only imagine how this is on a Saturday night. Additionally the table was disgustingly dirty and sticky Go literally anywhere else in the shopping center

We did not remain for a meal or assess the service. Upon sitting down, we noticed a distinct odor, which we later discovered originated from the menus that had a mildew smell. This was quite unappealing. Additionally, the glasses that were set at the table prior to our arrival appeared to be unclean.

Andrea was our waitress genuinely the worst experience we ve ever had. She came to our table already not caring, took our order and we ordered our drinks first, time went by and our food came out. Still not our drinks. We start to eat and she says the drinks will be out soon. We finished our meal, then she brings the drinks out and doesn t know which is which. Confused them all and still doesn t give us the correct drinks. Stares at us. Then leaves. Didn t come back until the end to give us the bill. Showed no service.

STIRR ADDISON IS ALWAYS A VIBE!! I always enjoy this place. If you want a more low-key experience, then get seated downstairs for a more demure ambiance. If you want a dancing good time with great music, grab a table upstairs where the party is! I haven t had a dish that I didn t like. Make a reservation so you don t have to wait. I went last weekend and was there over 4 hours because it s just that good of a time. Love this place!!! Food plays an important part in my experience. The chicken & waffles were so-so. Waffles were not done and a bit tough. Didnt realize it was chicken strips. I prefer real chicken pieces. Frozee was waaay too sweet. Couldnt drink it. Not enough employees. Get it together Stirr! You have potential. Thankfully, the people watching was amazing.

Attended a party today and the food was very bland. Absolutely no seasoning. Ii ordered sweet tea the waiter brought me unsweet tea and sugar on the side. First time here visiting from Chicago. The atmosphere is amazing it s a 2 level establishment . I had the shrimp and grits 10/10. The pitchers of mimosa was very strong pineapple with strawberry. The server Madison was great and friendly. She answered my questions and she checked in regularly. The manager Sammy was awesome. He checked in with us and we talked about the menu. He is very professional. I will come again.

It s my first time here and I had the worst experience ever. We went on my birthday with only 5 adults and 1 child. We made reservations on Saturday at 8pm. Our service was horrible, we didn t get our alcohol until very late and our main dish very late, the food was not good at all on top of that I was not aware that we were charge a gratuity of 20 percent because the dj came. Basically the sever state on on weekends doesn t matter how Many people at a table anytime after 5pm you will automatically be charge for a gratuity. I will never come back again.

Mediocre food and service. My friend and I ordered the chicken and waffles with hot maple syrup and coffee. The chicken was two dry chicken strips and and a Texas shaped chewy waffle. We had to ask for butter. It was hard and cold. By the time the server arrived our waffles were cold. I had to ask for a coffee refill. My friend asked for a spoon to stir her coffee. They brought her some stirrers. The menu is rather limited. The atmosphere is very nice. The restaurant is large and well suited for large gatherings. I understand why the tips are automatically applied to the bill because the service is not the best. When I get good service I give large tips. We won t be returning here.

Way different from the deep ellum location. We came in Sunday 08/11 around 12 pm. The place was almost empty and plenty of reservation options available on open table. The host told us we could only sit at the bar because she was expecting people over the next hour. We went upstairs to sit at the bar. Sat for 10 minutes and all of the employees just sat and chatted amongst themselves. One of the girls even looked me directly in the eyes and continued on with her conversation. We ended up leaving and will definitely not be back. Ive also shared my experience with our club of about 700 people that frequent Stirr often. Well be looking for other places to spend our money. Went to Cafe Nubia the same day and had a way better experience. Word of advice for the employees: Acknowledge everyone you encounter, not just the men you THINK are big spenders. I run a bartending company and have bartended myself so I know how important tipping is. You all really missed out on having consistent business.

Difference between the service here vs the Deep Ellum location was night and day in a bad way. (Note that a 20 percent tip is automatically billed to your order.) Went for a solo brunch on Sunday. Was encouraged to sit at the bar which I didnt want. Dining room only had 2 occupied tables but was I only allowed to sit at a small table divided from the main section of tables. They didnt even mention the upstairs dining room which Id have much preferred (once I saw it after my meal). Staff was a bit unfriendly and very unattentive. Noticed them chatting among themselves and had to wait some time after I finished eating to get the waiters attention for the check. Upstairs I wanted a mocktail and after being handed a menu I waited and waited and waited before giving up and leaving. The bartender whod given me the menu was off to the side texting. Overheard a waiter tell her I dont want to interupt your texting when he needed her to make a beverage. Aside from that, the atmosphere is elegant with a luxe feel. Breakfast tacos were great. Due to the poor service I wont return to this location.

First time coming here for brunch. This place has beautiful natural lighting, and a somewhat open seating. I walked in and sat myself, but was attended to very quickly. I ordered the Honey stung Chicken and Waffles and my friend ordered a flatbread. I was amazed at the presentation, and couldn t stop taking pictures. Food was pretty good and finished it all.

If you are under 30 and don t care about your eardrums, Saturday at Stirrs is the place to be. My burger was almost raw, the server was so sweet but we couldnt hear ourselves think! Asked the mgr to turn down the music and he said that s what we do here! On the way out, one of the management asked my friend if everything was okay and my friend told her it would ve been if we could have heard each other at our table. The music was too loud! My friend was told then you need to go somewhere else! Trust me, we will.

Ive been here a few times, and its always worth it, food and hospitality wise. The environment is great. The only problem is a personal problem. They had the chicken and waffles and changed from wings to strips. That was my go-to entrée so now i dont have one anymore, but the other food is good. That was one of those. If it aint broke, dont try to fix it, and I feel like it was good, then they broke it. From extremely juicy flavorful wings to dry tenders is no comparison. I dont usually send food back, but while the waffle was hittin those little dried up scrap chicken pieces were an insult. I thought I was being punked, but it was fr. Other than that...phenomenal and worth the visit.

Went upstairs, less than half full but told without reservation that we could only sit at the bar. No bartender in site. Then went online and got a reservation 10 minutes away. Had a reservation for 4pm on Saturday May 11th. Arrived at 330p and was greeted by the hostess who was wearing a button up shirt with the buttons stretched to the max due to her protruding breast. Not a good look for a hostess. Was immediately seated and was not served or greeted for the next 30minutes. Day party upstairs with music and patrons coming in and going upstairs. Only 2 parties downstairs being served. Only 2 waiters on the main floor and neither of them gave us eye contact or asked if we wanted WATER. No manager or supervisory personnel in sight. Waited and waited and waited and after 30mins left and non one even asked or stopped us as we left. Will never go back to this restaurant. Poor customer service and not worth my dollars.

One word for this restaurant, HORRIBLE! The restaurant is nice looking but other than that I cant give it any additional kudos. The food came out cold, the pork chop was tougher than beef jerky, the broccolini was so salty that I couldnt eat it. On top of that the AC was blasting. We sat upstairs and Im telling you it was truly a horrible experience. Then at 10 out of nowhere my waitress came out 90% undressed with her cheeks out since upstairs turns into a club at night, it was off pudding to say the least. The rooftop at Stirr Addison is beautiful. The vibe is great for many occasions, whether brunch, dinner, or to watch the game with friends. Bryan was an excellent waiter. Once I found out he was from New Orleans, it all made sense. He exemplified Southern Hospitality at its finest!

This is my second time here, and I thought the food was mediocre. Recently ordered count of Montreal Cristo was dry. My friend order egg rolls and they were dry. Besides being dry, the there was nothing special to the food they offer. But cute drinks though. The servers dont pick up the dirty dishes or clear out for the upcoming next dish.

Great place to host a large brunch gathering! The inside is really cute with lots of natural light coming in. There is also an upstairs floor! From the start, customer service was excellent. It was hard deciding what to order because the menu had so many great options, but I went with the chicken fried ribeye. The duck fat gravy couldve been a tad more flavorful. I do think the ribeye was slightly tough but nothing too egregious. On the other hand, the mashed potatoes were excellent!

Austin was our server. Very polite and attentive. Calamari - served fresh and hot. Great flavor two dipping sauces to complement Garlic truffle parmesean fries - absolute perfection! 0/10 recommend. Came here yesterday for my birthday dinner and was extremely disappointed by the service. Our server completely neglected us to the point our dinner took over 3 HOURS because of his lack of service. The entire time we did not have water and we had to basically beg for him to give us water. Towards the end he got everyones tab wrong and blamed it on us for having a party of more than 6 people. He insisted on putting it on one big check instead of helping us out and splitting it for us. We finally got him to split the check and it took him over an hour to get back to us... Very disappointed by the service and atmosphere he created for my birthday when it was supposed to be a happy time celebrating. Not sure what his name was but he was tall blonde, and we were sitting downstairs near the windows.

I put me and my friends down for a table at 1:52pm. The hostess told me it could be up to 2 hours before I got seated and I told her that was fine. In the mean time me and my friend went to vidorra. 2 hours passed and no text letting us know the table was ready, 4 hours past and I realized I never got a text. 12AM rolls around and STIRR never text me again with an update on the table, imagine had I been waiting around for them to reach out to me. I have loved STIRR in the past but recently it s been so unorganized.

My friend and I went to stirr Addison yesterday, I had a reservation for 3:30pm, but got there 3:40pm when we got there we requested upstairs, the hostess took us upstairs, we sat down, so excited and hungry( nobody came to give us even water until 4:00pm the server came gave us water, ordered mimosa pilcher, we asked her if we can order food she said no she is just taking drinks, we waited 10 minutes and nothing, we decided to leave at 4:10pm we left and made sure we told a server who followed us and down stairs hostess why we left, the ambiance is good but the service has to be better, this is the second time it s happening that s why I decided to write this review, 30 minutes is a long time, we went to vidorra and we had eaten in 30 mins and drunk never going to stirr again.

The atmosphere was VERY nice. Decent food and drink menus. Our only problem was service. But because that seemed to be due to OUR server, I dont want to knock the restaurant. We watched people who arrived AFTER us, have their entrees delivered before we had appetizers, or even able to ORDER our entrees. We actually had to stop another server to ask him to take our orders. Bottom line: Nice place with good food and drinks, and I WOULD give them another try. Going to chalk that experience up to a server having a bad day.

Place was packed, upstairs food isn t served. Wait time was a 50 minutes for a group of 8. We ended up sitting at the bar where we found vacant seat. Food was amazing! Service was ok. Upstairs music was subpar, wasn t my cup of tea but there were plenty of people that were getting low and having a good time.

Came in for drinks and snacks one gorgeous Saturday! Our server was so sweet, and we found out later it was his first shift. He was very attentive and took care of all of our needs. We ordered a pitcher of the Over the Waterfall cocktail, which was so refreshing and yummy.... and strong! We also ordered the Pepperoni Pizza and calamari. Everything was great. DJ was doing his thing. It was the prefect Saturday chill spot!

Drinks are poor. Food was OK but basic. The restaurant adds a Commodity Fee which was explained as a surcharge added during Covid instead of raising menu prices. Leaves a bad taste in your mouth just as youre walking out the door. Many better options in the area than this!

First time at this place during a busy time of day. The front desk person guided wrongly to the second level whereas my party was on the first level. The waitress were hurrying us from the bar area to the table for some reason. It took a while to get us settled to a table. There was only one menu card for 6 of us. So others had to wait. Not sure what was going on. Not much vegetarian options. So asked for recommendation and no much guidance. Even water refill check came very late.

I am not a dramatic person, but this was probably the worst experience I ve ever had at restaurant. We came in on a Thursday night for the night event upstairs with friends to get drinks and food. Absolutely no one came to our table to even ask us if we wanted a glass of water for two hours. My partner talked to about 3 waitresses to ask for service, and still, nothing happened. There needs to be some major improvement in the service area. Don t come here if you want even basic service. They re only getting one star because the music was great. Vegetarian options: Not many vegetarian opions

I can see why they charge a mandatory 20% gratuity here (which was nowhere to be seen on the menu, as we would have walked out if we knew), because this is the worst service Ive ever received at a dining establishment. The food was just ok but the service and experience were abysmal. Waitress mostly ignored us, left me without a refill for 15+ minutes, didnt take our menus after ordering, never bussed dishes, took forever to take our order after the appetizer, left wine glasses we werent using on the crowded table, and took a long time to replace my disgusting fork I originally received (which had cheese or something caked onto it and yet still made it to my table). The only impressive thing about the location as the decor. There are much better options with quality food and staff nearby. Dont bother here. Im going to reach out and ask for the gratuity back (I normally tip but thats if they do a half-decent job) or reach out to my credit card company.
