It took a long time to sit us down more than 1 hour, the food was very good despite being a small place, no waiter is willing to serve you if it is not their area the only redeeming thing was the very friendly bar tender I dont know his name but he was from Monterrey and The food is very good, I mean the kitchen is very good too

Stopped by Oldfellows in Deep Ellum for brunch on Saturday. The 30-minute wait was expected, and the staff was super friendly and quick to move us to a more accessible table when needed. Unfortunately, the food didn t live up to the hype. I got the chicken fried steak, and my friends had chicken and waffles. Everything looked good but was surprisingly bland. I rarely add salt to my food, but I found myself doing just that to bring out some flavor. The best part of my meal was the potatoes, which is saying something. I really wanted to love this place, but I don t think I ll be back anytime soon. Wheelchair accessibility: Even though the restaurants seating is staggered throughout, they have ramps throughout. Its definitely better than nothing but not easy to maneuver. I appreciate the effort.

Went Sunday morning around 9:30, no wait, seated immediately which was very nice. Bathrooms were clean. These are thr highlights of our visit. The server Karla soured the dining in experience. I only know her name from the receipt, because she never introduced herself . We were greeted with Do you know what you want? If you asked her a question it was an eyeroll, if you asked for any suggestions, it was an eyeroll, if you asked for anything additional to accompany your meal it was an eyeroll. Poor dining experience. Ordered food and alcohol and non alcohol drinks. Pancake was the best thing I tasted from my order. The food was bland, literally no seasoning. The menu reads well, good options, however it does not translate to the palate well. Overall it was okay, I probably will not return not so much because of the food but because of the poor service. In the age of delivery, where options are vast , good service should really be a priority.

I love breakfast eateries. When charged with the task of searching for a breakfast spot, I knew I was in for it being in the Dallas area. When I came across Oddfellows, I knew this was going to be a great place to eat. Other than the vast amount of people that were there when we arrived to eat, this place was nothing short of fantastic. I loved the indoor outdoor atmosphere. The decor added nicely to the diner joint vibe I was getting. The food was warm and delicious although it did take some time making its way to our table. It was understandable though because of the sheer volume of people that was there. Great place to eat breakfast. Loved it Vegetarian options: There were some veggie salads and sandwiches on the menu Parking: There was plenty of parking near the venue. Valet parking right outside the venue Wheelchair accessibility: Easy outdoor accessibility

Awful. Food was mushy, chicken was inedible. There was a very active leak from the ceiling in the kitchen which I saw every time someone went through the kitchen door. Service was non existent. It took 5 minutes from ordering to get our meals, asked for a side of fruit and it took over 20 minutes. This place is nasty.

Located in the heart of bishop arts catering to everyone s taste & preference! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT IF YOU ARE IN OR AROUND BISHOP ARTS!

I ordered the chicken and waffles and the edges of my waffle were hard and the chicken was cold. May give another try but not likely, a less than pleasant experience.

Very cute restaurant with alot of shaded outdoor seating. Atmosphere was great and service was fast. Estimated wait time was 45-60 mins but we got seated in only 25. Food was okay, not as good as I expected for the ratings, but the prices were fair. The spinach on my eggs benedict was very bitter and over-powered the relatively simple hollandaise flavor. Home fries were delicious. Red velvet pancake had great flavor but was wet, possibly undercooked. Brisket hash was good. We also got the mimosa carafe which was the perfect size for two people and reasonably priced at $22 Parking: $10 valet for the area, not restricted to restaurant but conveniently located right next to it

Oddfellows - Dallas, TX. If youre in Dallas and looking for an exceptional breakfast experience, Oddfellows should be at the top of your list. The moment you walk in, youre greeted by a super eclectic vibe that perfectly sets the tone for whats to come. The coffee is absolutely on point rich, smooth, and just what you need to kickstart your day.But the real star of the show for me was the brisket hash. It was incredible tender, flavorful brisket paired with perfectly cooked potatoes and a hint of spice that brought everything together. The balance of flavors and textures was spot on, making it a dish Id come back for again and again.Oddfellows offers more than just a meal; it provides a memorable dining experience thats hard to beat. Highly recommend! Parking: Parking on a Sunday morning was not that bad for this area

Interesting restaurant, from the outside it doesnt look like much. But the inside is cozy. Had the devilled eggs for an appetizer and the chili jam made them. For dinner I had the chicken fried steak with poblano sauce. The steak and sauce were very good, but the green beans were spectacular! They were made with onions and chunks of bacon; reminded me of my grandmothers green beans. Highly recommend people come in and enjoy the food

Food was very tasty and there are options for everyone. We went half healthy and half indulgent. Pancake was fluffy and light and syrup tasted home made with a delicious hint of vanilla. Brisket hash is well portioned to leave you full but bot stuffed. Yogurt was fresh and the berries were too. Must try the deviled eggs but beware they are a wee bit spicy but not too bad. If you dont like spice though, you wont like them. The fans outside are a must and the only recommendation I have is to find more comfy seating. The chairs are hard and slippery and while there out elderly dog fell off twice and a kid behind us fell of too. No injuries thankfully but hard to get comfy and settle in.

Love the atmosphere and the food options they have here, the wait staff was nice and fast and the coffee was awesome. However the food was insanely overseasoned, the potatoes were grey and tasted awful, even the biscuit was super salty and hard to eat. The only item that wasnt overseasoned was the eggs, which were good. Overall I like their style and theme but their cooks need to believe in the power of a little salt and love, not everything needs hella seasoning.

They sat us outside because the wait to be seated inside was long which was fine, the weather was nice! But the flies were all over. This place seems cute, but the experience was a little dreadful. My friends and I were sat outside with pets: a dog, and cat. We were in a little hurry so we ordered quickly when the server, Chris L, came by and we told them separate checks. My cat was chilling on the floor behind my friends chair. The server stepped back and accidentally stepped on my cats tail and my cat reasonably freaked out. The server was freaked out, but left without an apology... That was awful. We got our food after waiting 20-25 mins and I was disappointed that I ordered the salmon lox bagel and only got half of it... $19 for half of salmon lox bagel. My partner received the prosciutto toast and it was $15. I am guessing that if you order any bagel\toast item, you will only received 1 slice of the bagel or toast. I wish I had ordered something else. My friend did not get their soup with their entree, it was forgotten. When we had to leave and ask for the check, the server forgot that it was separate. When we received our checks, there were wrong items on our receipt. We just paid and left. Might give this place another shot, but the service was messy on what we received on a Sunday afternoon.

Service was a bit slow . Which may have been due to the larger crowds. Food took a while.. the shrimp and grits was very good; the veggie burger was VERY dry . It had a sauce and lettuce, but very dry. Vegetarian options: Veggie burger, spinach and artichoke soup

Although our server was very pleasant, out experience here was NOT good. I like outside seating but there is ABSOLUTELY Nothing done to accommodate eating a meal at this location. Its like the owners have purposely placed greenery in the exact area where people will eat, and you are in constant fight with flies and gnats to eat your food. Not only that, the seating is like something at an elementary school with little, rickety chairs and we were seated at table that were not clean!! I had to use the menu to constantly swat at flies in order to eat!! And, I was not at ALL impressed with the food, ESPECIALLY for the price. Parking: Its ok if you get there early

The food here is very good, and the service is outstanding. The waiters and waitresses are very attentive and deserve good tips. My only positive suggestions would be that the establishment purchase citronella candles to ward off flies and knats as they can be annoying during the summer months. Also if they can provide laminated menus as opposed to paper menus that tend to easily get soiled. Parking: I would suppose it depends on the day and time when the parking is easily available.

Decided to eat here for Mothers Day and the service was terrible. Bartender, waiter and manager on staff were rude and unprofessional. They raised their voice multiple times and would get mad when we asked for missing items. The waiter got mad at us because she messed up on the tab and asked the bartender for help. When the female bartender came over she screamed at us and when we told her we felt disrespected she proceeded to argue with us. Dont waste your time and money here. THE WAITERS NAME IS JULY G

If I could give this place 0 stars for the disrespect AND service I would. Celebrated Mother s Day here and was treated so awful from the start. Not by one or two people but by THE ENTIRE STAFF. Do not go here unless you want to be rushed and disrespected the entire time. Worst place ever. And to top it off the servers go back and forth with you when you point out the bad service & never acknowledge or apologize. Hope this makes people double think eating here.

I went to Oddfellow with a big group of friends on a Saturday after 8:00 pm. It was pretty quiet, which I think might be because the restaurant is known for brunch. We had our table set up, and we ordered fried artichoke and fried green tomatoes to share as appetizers. For my main course, I ordered the vegetarian dish Cacio e pepe con Funghi, and interestingly, another person in our group ordered the same dish. However, his dish had a lot more mushrooms than mine. Im not sure, but it seemed like the chef couldnt quite achieve the right balance or adhere to a standard portion size. I mentioned this to our waitress, who said she would inform the chef in the kitchen, but I didnt receive any feedback. Overall, the food was good, but I believe this place would shine more for breakfast or brunch rather than dinner. As for drinks, I ordered a ranch water, but I wasnt impressed; it was very savory. Since we were a large group, a 20% tip was automatically added, which is standard practice. The ambiance of the place is quite nice for lunch or brunch. If you live around or are visiting Bishop Arts, its definitely worth checking out.

Great place. The hostess made some mistakes but corrected them quickly. The portions are kinda small so expect to order a little more to actually have a filling meal. Dietary restrictions: Had good alternative options for dietary restrictions.

We got the avocado toast and the fried green tomato BLT. The Food took an hour and half to get to us and it was soggy and cold. The food was also the blandest thing I ve ever tasted. Not a single seasoning on the avocado toast. Wouldn t recommend.

Oddfellows in Bishop Arts is your classic American diner with a hipster twist. Picture mason jars overflowing with iced tea and folks with ironic mustaches sipping lattes. Theyve got a nice outdoor patio perfect for people-watching (because, lets face it, thats half the fun of brunch, right?). The food is not good the five spice Porkchop is TOO over-seasoned. I felt like I was eating Five spices with a side of pork. Thats how much five spice they put into it! Typical Westerners mistakes: they dont know that youre only supposed to sprinkle a tiny bit of five spice because that stuff is really strong and can really overpower your food. The steak is not good either. Fries soggy and steak is overcooked. Conclusion: I would grab a drink here and walk elsewhere for food.

This is one of my favorite brunch spots but they can never seem to get the OVEREASY EGGS right. They always come out overcooked. The waitress ordered new eggs for him. I decided just to keep mine bc I was already hungry.By the time his new order of eggs arrived I was already done with my plate. The manager took $4 off. I think we deserved at least half off his plate or taken care of his. Due to the fact that this is a repetitive mistake.

My friend and I stopped by on a Friday morning, were seated and given menus, as well as glasses and a water carafe. The gentleman who provided this service was very kind, and the atmosphere was modern and cozy. But thats where the good part ends. Other patrons came in, were seated, and waited on. A server came toward us, making eye contact, and we thought, Good, finally, because we were ready to order and excited for the delicious-looking selections, but she deliberately turned her back and waited on the couple next to us, who had just arrived less than a minute prior. We were flabbergasted; wed be sitting for ten minutes without anyone asking what we wanted to drink, much less what wed like to order for food. Needless to say, we took our menus back to the front where they were neatly stacked, left, and went to Normas.

I ordered the Smoked Salmon, on a bagel and wont do that again. Mostly b/c they can be upfront and print, 1/2 a bagel . If for no other reason, it was difficult to eat with loose toppings falling off. No sides, just 1/2 a bagel (what happens to the bottom half?), left one hungry. I added an egg on the side but still not sufficient for price. Good thing there are bakeries nearby.

food was okay but they were missing a key component of my dish (mushroom toast) because it ran out and didn t let me know when i was ordering, nor when he served the food, then i had to ask where the missing ingredient was and he came back 5 minutes later saying they ran out, a curt sorry and left without any explanation. there was no sincere apology or offer for a solution. this is my second visit and i will not be coming back.

The food LOOKED amazing. Now, the customer service was good! and our waiter was nice! but the food. Cold and old. There was a very thin hair in the toast. The atmosphere was alright, got a couple snarky looks from a certain group of people. (I myself didn t come in my best but I m Hispanic and came here comfortably) Supposedly, they took the toast off my tab but the total rounded up to 31 dollars. Very disappointing, heard a lot of good things about this place. COMPLETELY FORGOT TO ADD (edit): The silverware and plates had a weird garbage old food taste. Like if the dishes were just rinsed through.

Visited around 2p for a late brunch. The place wasn t crowded at all and we were seated immediately. The food was average. The waitresses were kind, but the service was lacking. We found a bug in our water, then hair in the 2nd. Food was cold when it arrived to the table. We asked for condiments and had to remind the waitresses several times before receiving them. We also had to ask for one of our sides that wasn t brought out with our initial order. Maybe this was an off day. Idk. Won t be visiting again. Kid-friendliness: Nice kid menu and portions

Good food. Good service. Our waitress Jessie was super attentive and on top of things. Keith went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable as we sat outside on a windy Dallas morning. The Host and Hostess need a lot more training. Aiden seemed nervous to tell guests how long the wait was and the male host was very close to being plain rude. If you like bread pudding 8 highly recommend the French toast bread pudding. The deviled eggs were tasty. Beignets were a bit doughy, if you like them that way, then they re perfect.

Don t the the picture fool you .it looks nicer than how I really got it *hint: i added the tomatoes* Staff: First off, staff was very friendly & fast Food: Avocado Toad & Smoked Salmon Bagel I got HALF a bagel with some unseasoned avocado spread that a 9yr old made with a side of store bought bottled white sauce & a poached egg almost forgot, I added the tomatoes myaself from my wife s Smoked Salmon bagel (call me Chef Boyardee ) all for the low price of $12 *insert sarcastic meme here* Total Cost: $53+tip (2 bagels, 2 lattes & 1 red velvet pancake) Overall, the place is nice, friendly staff, but the bagels need a lot of work for sure. Their red velvet pancakes & lattes were good, but the bagels not worth the price. Idk about other plates.
