Sitting on the patio on a perfect tempature night. This place is a hidden gem close to the gayborhood and Love Field Airport. My 3rd time here, there s never a line, service is always spot on, great beer selection (over 40) and a full bar, they have some different delicious options besides the BBQ but their BBQ is lit as well. The loaded kimchi fries are yummy but need more kimchi. Get an extra side of just kimchi with them to top it off. Parking: They have an extra lot 1/2 a block away that easily handles the overflow of the regulate parking.

Had some time to kill before our friends landed at Dallas Love Field, so we looked for a place to grab dinner. Maple Landing was rated well on google, and now we know why! We were seated on the patio and greeted by an employee who came to get our drink order. He brought our waters and said that he noticed I was looking at flights and wondered if he could do anything to be sure we were served quickly if we were in a hurry. We thanked him for being so aware and explained that we had plenty of time. My husband asked if he was a manager, and he replied that he was the GM. Joe was attentive and aware of our space and needs. Our waitress, Kelsey, made great suggestions and was also attentive in checking in. The food (a bacon avocado burger and an ML Silver Bowl) were both fantastic. If we are back in the area, we will definitely return!

Decided to sit outside as we had our dog. Immediately met with menus and shortly after two cheerful servers. One was on her last day of orientation. We were there for brunch- ordered a beer, mimosa and for food ordered the chicken and biscuit and the brisket migas. Mimosa was what you would expect, same with beer lol Food was bland. The server ordered two chicken biscuits on accident both werent great. The chicken was cold, not crispy at all, dry and tough. You know when you eat day old kfc? It was worse than that by far. The biscuit and gravy was alright- nothing exciting. The bacon was good. There was supposed to be syrup also but there wasnt and the menu said $3 for syrup so we skipped asking. Wouldnt remcommend this dish unless you like really bland food. The migas were brought out without brisket..... when asked if there was supposed to be meat, the server apologized and we were met by the manager(?)And a small plate of brisket explaining he was training a cook and apologized. The migas were surprisingly healthy looking- reportedly tasted good even before the brisket was added. The bbq sauce was strange tasting, recommend trying but dont recommend using without tasting first. Lastly another mimosa and coffee old fashion was ordered. We have had multiple coffee old fashions at Derby and they are great, this one at Maple Landing was not. It tasted like cigarette butts/coffee grounds. All in all the service was cheerful and kind. Will return to try other things on the menu and report back!

I came in a bit early and sat at the bar. Plenty of seating and some music playing. Got the bartenders attention right away and he helped me pick a great beer (a Manhattan Projects Red Gate Amber). I went with his recommendation for dinner - the brisket and sausage plate with a vinegar based coleslaw and a slightly spicy potato salad. Everything was good, and the potato salad stood out. For dessert I had the bourbon pecan bread pudding which was outstanding! Dinner, dessert, and 2 beers plus tip was under $50

Atmosphere is great, service is great, cocktails are great. Overall just a good spot. Maple Landing has some great food. Its a very relaxed atmosphere. My burger was cooked exactly how I ordered it. The Mac And Cheese was probably the best Ive ever had and the elote was nice and spicy. However, my main critique is with the Brisket Melt. The meat was very fatty. I told the wait staff and they said thats how the owner likes it. You can buy fatty brisket and keep fat for flavor while cooking, but kitchen staff should trim it a little before serving or at least have the waitstaff ask if you want the fat trimmed. The bun ended up being soggy it soaked up so much fat.

Rick was a wonderful server as anyone else we encountered. They shared the ingredients are local and everything made there, you can tell the difference! Happy hour is wonderful, I ordered their red house wine to pair with my burger. Make sure you save space for dessert. The banana bread pudding and key lime crème brûlée were superb! We ll be back.

I was there for brunch with friends yesterday. The food and drinks (mostly mimosas) were very good and prices are quite affordable. The BIG downside was service. Our waiter was not paying attention and service was very slow. We ordered queso with brisket as an appetizer and we did not get the brisket in it. She forgot to place our food order and once she realized it was already 40 mins late. By the time we got our food it s been almost 1.5 hours since we first ordered. Prices change after 3PM, but because she was absent from our area and quite late with everything our last round of mimosas were $2 more. Honestly, with all the mistakes in just one visit we should get a discount?! The restaurant forgot our food order and we never got an apology. It was a disappointing visit and I hope they fix it, because they do have great food and drinks.

Yesterday in the middle of eating dessert we paid electronically when we were forced to see our electronic detail bill. At the beginning we thought, it was the end of the servers shift. The server didnt explain to us etc. The server was still there serving other people. It seems pushed to get out ASAP and the place wasnt even crowded. Doubtful well be back.

Went for a function after work. I d never been and didn t know what to expect. Wow, I can t believe I had been driving past this place every day for two years. I ended up with the poutine, which made things a little better.

A fun place to get drinks and great food. Service is good but they might be a bit short staffed at times so speed was variable and some folks in our group had to wait to order food after our drinks had arrived.

So Wow! We walked in and there was a neat little cut out for you to snap a photo. It s near the restroom area. The burgers were amazing. I had a Patty Melt, my boyfriend had the Brisket Melt and my daughter had the sliders. Bro the Bourdon d onions were fckn awesome. House fries were bomb but what really stole the show was the Cajun/creole potatoes salad. I just wasn t expecting it to be so good. There is some type of meat inside with fire flavors (seasoned well) and corn yes, sweet corn in there and it was good lol the service was so awesome. We sat on the patio where there was a heater to keep warm and watch the planes leave and land near DFW airport. We went kind of late, so the patio was lit up and the parking was on site and free. Option to get pizza and the restaurant attached to it. Really lovely! Wish I would have taken photos. But there will be a next time! Parking: Parking was plentiful and free

I found this restaurant after I left a doctor appointment. At first, I was confused because we came through a residential area. But we got seated quickly and got our drinks. After a hard decision on which salad to have, I decided on the ML Silver Bowl. It had brisket, blue cheese crumbles, bacon, and grilled corn. And arugula! It was quite tasty! My sister had the Mediterranean with ahi tuna added. She said it was great! Im planning on returning! I want to experience the evening crowd.

Meet some friends here for an off site meeting.. I had the BBQ Brisket... it was just OK, nothing special... it was a little dry and over cooked... sauce was clumpy and street corn seemed out of a can and over done with condiments... but it is all typical for bat food.. The drinks were great, well made and service was fantastic... I will go back for darts, pool and drinks... snacks? Meh...

Seemed like a decent enough place to grab a bite before our flight. 15 minutes in and another waitress had to take our order. 40 minutes in and still no food. We had to leave so we would have enough time to grab a bite in the terminal prior to our flight. I can t say if the food was good or not because we didn t get to eat.

Sadly, for what I paid, this meal was truly lacking. The portions are small, the sausage, potato salad, and mack and cheese had NO flavor. The brussell sprouts were the best part of the meal. The baked beans had such a strong taste of beer that you could not even eat them. The corn bread was very dry. I was charged an additional .50 per order because I ordered to go. For a bill that was over $50.00 I will go back to Heims or Big Als. If I wanted cheap brisket and sausage I could have saved myself some money and went to Dickeys where at least the food has some flavor.

UPDATED REVIEW: They went above and beyond to make everything a lot better. Much better experience this time around. The food was a lot better and the service was great! First review: The entire experience was so bad. The brussel sprouts felt undercooked. The fries were bad. The brisket was dry. The turkey burger was unflavored. My order was wrong and we had to wait a long time to get the other plate. The server was hard to track down and we felt quite ignored. Honestly I wish I could get my $70 back because I ve never been so disappointed in how bad the food was.

Its a great place to sit out and have dinner as you watch the sunset on their outdoor patio. I take everyone I can to Maple Landing, its just an all-around good establishment. Their specialty drinks are okay, but youre coming here for the brisket and boy does it slap. I recommend a light refreshing mojito with their creamy and hearty brisket burger. Dietary restrictions: If you are one of my fellows who have a proclivity towards cheese apocalypses then I recommend taking your lactaid before-hand because their cheese has a nice umami and pull to its texture.

OMG! Let me tell you about my recent visit to Maple Landing it was seriously amazing! I ordered the pulled pork Benedict, and oh boy, I practically licked my plate clean! And my hubby went for the pork belly grilled cheese, which was just as drool-worthy. Seriously, every bite was like a flavor explosion in our mouths! Plus, the vibe there was so cozy and welcoming, and the service was super friendly. If you re ever in the mood for some seriously delicious food and a great time, Maple Landing is the place to be!

For a BBQ place the brisket tasted of freshly started coals. So it had that butane flavor the coals give off when you first light them. Not pleasant. So be careful coming here for the main attraction. They forgot the silverware for multiple tables around me. Including mine. I ate with my hands for 10 minutes. I waited for an hour before my food got to me. A couple got their food before me and I was already waiting before they even got there. The Mac n cheese was great! Can t go wrong with cheese! Fries, good. 30 bucks plus 6 for a tip(because I m not stingy) for fries, Mac, and all brisket . The portion was small. Anyways, all in all. A 3 out of 5.

The food was sooo good, the service was good and the waiters were kind, and the price was extremely reasonable! Only con: I ordered two drinks, and both were subpar. Strong but not alot of flavor. Mimosa came as a half glass which was disappointing.

Stopped by for a first try after a trip to UTSW. It was 530pm high traffic time. Love that this little place is a nice unexpected delight in this busy medical district. There were two ladies working: one at the bar and one at the end tables. The lady at the bar warmly greeted us with a huge smile. The two of us sat at a high top. The bartender then came to wait on us. She was quick to walk on over as soon as we sat. She handed us menus and took our drink order. Then she was back in a flash. All the while still handling the people seated directly at the bar. We both order the BBQ burger with the goat cheese and Jalapeños. I opted out of Jalapeños. He opted out of BBQ sauce. I ordered a side of potato salad. He ordered a side of house chips. We both enjoyed our burgers. They were big and hot. I didnt care for the overabundance of large red onion chunks in my potato salad. Otherwise, it would have been great. The house chips tasted like they had been fried in fish or with fish. There was a definite fishy flavor to them. Otherwise, the texture was really good. But taste was off. So these two items brought my food stars down to four. Great service. Really good atmosphere. Lots of happy people talking and enjoying their meals after working hard all day. We were so glad the multiple TV screens were not blaring sound because it would have been overwhelming with all the patrons talking. Its really nice to hear people talking and laughing over a meal instead of the silence of people mesmerized by their phones. We really enjoyed the place. The smells of all the different plates available were wonderful. We are planning a return to try some other things that looked delicious on the menu. Highly recommend you stop in for a bite.

Maple Landing is a great place to go to watch a game. Plenty of TVs, pretty much a good view from anywhere you sit. The BBQ aroma when you walk in is amazing. Mouthwatering. As for the food itself, I ordered the brisket and sausage plate with mac and cheese and fries as my sides. The brisket was tender and flavorful. The sausage was good as well but I was expecting like a polish kielbasa. This is not kielbasa, but regular beef sausage (not spicy). The barbecue sauce was a huge disappointment. Taste and texture-wise the sauce was almost like a smoky, tangy applesauce but the meats paired much better with Sweet Baby Ray s when I got home. The fries were good and fresh. The mac and cheese was a 10/10. YUM. Both breads (roll and cornbread) were good. Service was fantastic. I also had a nice peach cocktail that was pleasantly strong. It did the job. I really like this restaurant but if they could improve their BBQ sauce (and maybe get kielbasa), that would take it to the next level!

Everyone in the group loved their food and the semi-private space was great for our diverse group and mingling. Our group was very excited to try this place for the first time and everything on the menu looked great. Sadly, we were disappointed. The service was decent, not great. The manager was actually the best server. He came to check on us more than our server and was quick to bring us things that we had asked our server multiple times for. The pastrami sandwich was so salty it was inedible. The sweet potato fries were very good. The brunchiladas were small, bland and dry. The burgers dont have enough meat to balance out the amount of bread. The regular fries were dry, hard and bland. Egg white omelet was bland. The salsa is very good and sneaky spicy. We all loved the queso...full of flavor and a wonderful portion to share. Great coffee. Nobody really liked their bloody Marys, but at $3 we werent going to complain. The tables in the back have broken raw edges that kept catching on our clothes and pulling threads and scratching people. They really need to be smoothed out.
