INCREDIBLE food, holy crap. I got a feast since seafood is only good by an ocean and I m a Midwest girly. Mahi mahi with tomato pesto sauce was insanely good! Crab cakes and bacon wrapped scallops were also amazing dipped in the sauce. The veggies and mashed potatoes too. Honestly, just drown all my food in that sauce from now on. Staff was super awesome too! All three I interacted with were really helpful and friendly. 10/10 place, I ll be back someday!!

Great seafood restaurant. Always have good specials and the food is well prepared. This is my fourth trip and I had the pecan crusted Redfish with the honey butter drizzle and, yes, its as good as it sounds if not better. One of the best things about Saltwater grill are the potato chips they provide for free while you wait on your meal. Great substitute for bread. All in all a first rate place to have a very good dinner.

We re visiting from out of town and were told this was one of the best seafood restaurants. I d definitely have to agree. We ve eaten here twice in the last week. The fish tacos and crab stuffed flounder were our favorites. Sometimes service was a little slow, but they were nice and checked on us a decent amount of times. I would definitely recommend going. Maybe not at peak rush times though.

It took forever to get our appetizers; our waitress acted as tho we were a hassle (all we did was order two cokes, two appetizers - one of which was undercooked scallops - and two entrees) and the food was truly flavorless - not even kidding. Even the tartar sauce had no flavor. This was my husband s first time to try real seafood, so needless to say, we were so disappointed.

Food was good. They could not over season the vegetables next time. Beers were $4 for the bottle and $6 and some change for a draft. I feel like the draft could be a little bigger since a bottle would have had the same volume as the glass draft was served in. Service was a bit slow, considering we were there on a Friday night and only 2 other tables were occupied. Not sure what the deal was. The ambiance is ok. Its a bit more casual than we anticipated. Food was very good overall. We had one of their grilled fish dishes. Despite those small things, I think we will be returning back to try their other dishes.

Food was average, slightly greasy! Variety was good. Service was horribly slow! Our server was on the verge of rude! Had to ask repeatedly for drinks! Three orders out 8 were wrong! My granddaughters food didn t come out. Asked three times and gave up so we all shared with her! Towards end of our meal it came out and we said no take it off bill. When bill came the meal was on the bill and were told she served it so she had to charge! Won t return! This was a second try after previous bad experience!

Finally was able to try this restaurant after years of driving by it. Everything was wonderful. Bacon crab stuffed shrimp, , crab stuffed mushrooms were wonderful. Husband had grilled fish with shrimp and added a crab cake and scallops, I had their grilled salmon with pesto special. It was supposed to come with sweet potato hash but they accidentally substituted rice with it, which was a better substitute. Veggies were fresh, crisp. Everything was tasty and well made. We brought home dessert ( bread pudding and bignets which was delicious) to enjoy as we were both full. We will be back.

1st time visited, I ordered 4 dishes. My family got the Chicken Alfredo, Chicken Fried Steak, Sriracha Redfish w/topped Mango Avocado Pico, & Pan seared Salmon topped Cilantro Lime Aioli & Corn Salsa. All the food was high quality and it was so delicious. My family is very picky when come to food. But this place is way outstanding. Compares to Olive Garden, Chilis, Charleston & Cheesecake Factory. It is way better!!! I also have to order to go Chicken Alfredo for my kids. It is a must try, you wont regret it. The price is reasonable and the employees are so friendly, nice, and very kind. The owner is friendly as well. I wish I can have this restaurant in Oklahoma. I would go eat every week for sure. EXCELLENT EMPLOYEES & OWNER.

We came in around 2pm. It was very busy but had attentive waiter staff. Someone was always cleaning up any empty dishes or refilling drinks. We started with hush puppies and Oysters on the Half Shell and Oysters Rockefeller. The oysters were very large and fresh. The hush puppies for me were a miss, overly dry and lacked flavor, but Im not sure Ive ever had a hush puppy I was in love with. For entrees, we got Mahi Mahi Alto Cocina and Cajun Shrimp and Scallop Pasta. The fish was cooked perfect, it was a thick filet, veggies were mushy but tasty. The rice pilaf didnt have flavor but really fluffy. For the pasta, the scallops and shrimp were delicious! The Cajun spice was very overpowering for me, but you could absolutely tell this wasnt just a generic Cajun spice bottle used but a homemade blend. Overall, it is pricey, but I do think worth it. I can see why great reviews.

In my first review (below), I said we would be back and we were. Again we shared the ceviche for appetizer, and then ordered two of the daily specials. The grilled Mahi with lemon-dill aeoli and roasted corn salsa got very high marks from our table. The Pina colada drizzled red fish with mango salsa was quite unlike any dish Ive had before and a real winner. Both were served with rice and grilled veggies. Service was again extremely good and very personable. Very high marks on the food. And yes, we will return. Ive attached photos of the entrees. ---- We shared the shrimp and scallop seviche appetizer and had the salmon caprese and mahi-mahi alto cocina with no special sauce for our entrees. The seviche was very nicely prepared and an ample helping served with homemade tortilla chips. A really nice blend of seafood, avocado with just the right amount of lime and in-rhe-background spicyiness. We are really glad we ordered this. Both entrees were really excellent with the fish perfectly cooked and both served with rice and their veggie of the day. Nicely done! BTW- the complementary homemade potato chips were also a hit at our table. Service was really good. We will be back to try your other dishes!

Horrible attitude by the manager- At the end of our meal our waitress accidentally charged us some one else s ticket instead of ours. We asked to speak to the manager because even though they would cancel & stop the charge later that night, we still had to pay twice. The manager raised her voice at my husband and was rude. My husband never once raised his voice to her. I also noticed that maybe we weren t the right color of skin tone in comparison to the rest of the restaurant and staff. I am sure had we been she would not have treated my husband in that manner. We tried reaching the general manager over the phone - no call back or respond. We will never come back to that restaurant.

I ll be very honest I don t like seafood, Lent is the only time I eat fish. So I ordered mahi-mahi fried with sweet potato fries and coleslaw. Since it is Valentines Day , we wanted to go somewhere different, but no way want to go out tonight after 30 + years , my idea of romantic evening is PJS, Pizza and a movie. I had the Cajun pasta with blackened shrimp and scallops , tomato cream sauce , and it was some of the best pasta I have eaten in a while. My husband had the fried seafood mix. He said it was just OK , I tasted a bite of hush puppy , it was a little undercooked , and the fish was ok , I have had better , but the pasta , and homemade chips are worth the trip. Split the dish. It is a lot of food , I took half home. The salad had several pieces of rusty lettuce , but the blue cheese dressing was thick and had chunks of blue cheese. It was very crowded, but we still had great service and got our food quickly.

So disappointed as this was my favorite seafood restaurant. Today we went to celebrate Valentines early and ordered the Mahi-Mahi special. We did not even get to enjoy a bite due to the human hair we found in our food. The manager never came out to apologize at all. We paid for our two salads and teas and then left. I understand that hair in food will happen but for the manager not to take the time to come out and apologize or even recognize that this happened was disappointing. Blue Cove it is from now on.

We ate a very early dinner. We were the only customers there. Im really starting to enjoy retirement. We started with an appetizer of a mushroom dish that I dont recall the name of. It was mushrooms in a sauce with cheese. It was delicious and went really well with the homemade, very fresh, potato chips. For entrees, my wife had coconut shrimp, and I had the fried oysters and shrimp combo plate. We both enjoyed our food and had no complaints. The shrimp and oysters were fresh and cooked perfectly. I thought that even the fries were exceptional. It was more food than either of us could finish, but not enough was left over to take with us.

Its crazy how many great reviews this establishment has from so many people. Me and my family got fried fish and shrimp. Being so close to the bay, the fish was terrible and tough. Ive bought gulf shrimp that tastes better from HEB. I do recommend the sauteed veggies. The complimentary potato chips were the best thing there. The calamari was very thick and tough. And the oysters on the half shell were very good but very small.

I would like to share a little something with y all. My family and I come to corpus almost every single weekend and we decided to try something new. We were greeted and seated immediately. The staff were friendly, food was delicious and our waiter Jerry was absolutely phenomenal. Not one single time did we have to flag him down. Our glasses remained full and our food came out quickly. Dessert was soooo tasty. I do believe we have found our new favorite dining location. Thank you Jerry for your kindness, swift service and helping us to pick just the right food for each of us. Fantastic experience here for lunch. From the moment we walked in, we were seated immediately and had tasty home made chips to snack on. Our server, Jerry, was not only waiter extraordinaire, but he also made a mean cucumber martini!! The stuffed bacon wrapped shrimp was amazing and we finished it off with the beignets!! The waitress was awesome and helped me picked the perfect thing? Grilled or blackened? Omg... the Blackened redfish and shrimp with rice and a salad! Oysters on the half shell and the stuffed bacon wrapped shrimp for an appetizer. And the bartender made the perfect spicy jalapeno margarita. Everything was delicious!

One of the best places Ive eaten Seafood in a while in Corpus Christi . I had the red fish with mushroom sauce that was cooked to perfection. My husband had fried redfish and it was well done. Our friends had oysters on the half shell and he said they were the best he had had in a long time. The serving sizes were quite worth the price. The waiter was very friendly and very helpful in choosing what we wanted from the menu. The place does get a little bit loud but was an overall wonderful experience.

We had the stuffed mushrooms. Very good but ask for some garlic toast with it. We also had the Parmean Crusted Shrimp as an appetizer. Very good and more filling than expected. We split the Mahi Mahi Alto Cocina. We requested it blacken. This is a great dish, thick piece of Mahi. Well leave the pico off next time. Some raw onions too strong. We also split the shrimp pasta. Very good sauce, great shrimp. Our server was fantastic.

My husband and I came here for the first time this past weekend and it was a good experience. The food was good, decent portions and reasonably priced when compared with other similar places. There was no wait even right at dinner rush but there were enough people there so you knew it was a good bet lol. Our waitress named Kyleigh was super sweet, welcoming and attentive. Went here to celebrate my sisters birthday. The stuffed mushrooms were really good! Im not one for oysters but the Oysters Rockafeller wasnt too bad. It was baked with spinach and parmesan. The crab cakes were okay a little, not what I expected seemed like some type of red and green pepper in it which I didnt like. The sauce was good with it. I had the salad which was good and fresh with the housemate dressing I recommend it! I had the Mahi Mahi it was good but lacking on crab on top I think I tasted a small spec on top. The sauce was good. The rice was pretty good. I heard the veggies were excellent so I would go with that next time. My fiancé had the burger he said it was good. He didnt care for the fries as much as the homemade chips so he ate those instead. The brownie was really good and warm with chocolate and ice cream. I really liked the cheesecake with chocolate drizzled on it even better than the brownie. I liked the local draft beer Nueces lager. Get it! The service was good.

Updated Review: We were able to visit this restaurant again and still found it to be outstanding (service and food). I would highly recommend!!! (following is my review from a few years ago) Out of town visitors...I picked this place for lunch because of extensive menu, lots of sides, and reasonable prices. Had the fish and Shrimp lunch and it was excellent! In particular, the onion rings and mac-n-cheese sides were outstanding. Also, serving size was great, and my wife and I both struggled to finish our plates. Great food at a good price...well definitely stop at this place again, when in Corpus.

The best seafood I have had in Corpus Christi! I had the red fish alto cocina and it was delicious!!! I saw a lady eating the creamy shrimp salad and looked great! Trying that one next time!
