Happy Birthday to all October babies!! First stop of the day to celebrate at The BWB in Annaville for lunch we were impressed as first time visitors. The BWB sampler...mushrooms,popcorn chicken and sliders. My hubby had the chicken fried steak with okra and mash potatoes the meat was tender and savory. I had the chicken fried chicken with grilled veggies and a salad. I loved that you can actually taste the meats and breading was thin and crispy. Hubby tried the Estrella Jalisco pints dressed smooth brew. Destiny our server was friendly,attentive and always had a smile. Stopping by again.Thank you BWB! Great food, nice very western look to the restaurant. We went during the week for a late dinner so we were surprised by the lack of service. It took forever for someone to come take our order, and it took a bit for our food to come out, and our drinks never got a refill. There were several waitstaff manning the dining room, but ours disappeared in the back, and the ones out front visited with each other and took care of their tables. It was a minimal crowd for 8:30 pm and we couldnt understand why the wait was so long. We visit the southside location all the time and never have had those problems. Parking: Huge parking lot Wheelchair accessibility: Designated parking and flat entry, along with the whole restaurant having concrete floors so easy maneuverability throughout.

The brisket egg rolls are good. The brisket burger was not. The burger was dry and the brisket was flavorless and no smoke flavor at all. The service was good but the music was to loud and the place was kind of dingy. Just looked dirty but wasnt really dirty.

Elizabeth is a great waitress. Very kind and had all the details. It was our first time and she really helped us. We had the sampler appetizer with sliders, cheese sticks, and chicken poppers with hot sauce, brisket burger, and Cajun chicken breast. It was beyond expectations. Also a Pina Colada that was not too strong.

When this place opened up under new name the food was delicious and made you want to come back for more. These last two visits have not been the same. Must not have same cook or need more training. I suggest to go elsewhere. Specials posted on Facebook but yet not showing on receipt and then was challenge to show post to support 1/2 off appetizers. Drinks will kill ya w so much syrup ex Pina colada and strawberry daiquiri NO BUENO! For them to not know what they post on Facebook was last straw. They just lost a customer.

Everytime I order the fried shrimp for carry out, I get told something different regarding the shrimp being tossed in the chipotle honey mustard. I ordered last week and it was done as requested, but my order today not only was not tossed in the sauce but was wrong entirely. I said the fried shrimp and received fried fish. Also, on today s order, I requested a side of bleu cheese with my shrimp and the 2 ranches for my appetizer sampler and only received 1 ranch total.

Came back in April 2024 and totally didnt like my burger. Maybe they have a new cook but there a buying great about the burger this time. Sept 1st was my second time here! I came back because we really liked our burgers and wings the first time. Only this time, we were a group of 20! I had called ahead to give a heads up and they had our tables ready within a few minutes. Our servers were busy but attentive and engaging! She brought out the cake we had, she took pictures for us even tho it was a busy evening and I really appreciated it! Our table ordered fried pickles which everyone loved mozzarella sticks, wings, chicken bites with teriyaki sauce which I thought were great! I tried the Brisket tacos and OMG very delicious! I shared with everyone I could at the table because I wanted everyone to taste them. My sister ordered a chicken fried steak and she was very pleased. Mom ordered fried shrimp and she liked it and so did I because she gave me one If I had to say one thing about the restaurant that was less than 5 would be the skinny fries but thats just personal preference. Everyone seemed helpful even if they werent our actual server. Whoever passed by was willing to help or get what we needed (another menu, napkins, more drinks!) Well def be back!

Appetizer and entries food were ready but no drinks, we re so thirsty and still waiting for drinks until food got cool. Have been here 3 times. Really good portions. Friendly staff. The hamburgers are delicious, chicken tenders are juicy and crispy tossed in a yummy sauce with the right heat. Got them with an additional garlic sauce last time and it was so good. Onion rings are awesome, strings and a light batter. Fried mushrooms are so good, also a light batter and they don t skimp on the mushroom. Have had the whole appetizer sampler and it was all great. Don t love the fries but that s a personal choice. I don t like thin fries across the board, not their fault. Salad with my meal was good, cheese seemed freshly grated which I prefer over the package and the ranch is so good. Love me a good ranch. I gave the service a 4 because our first visit the waitress must have been new.. to everything. No issues at all since. Pictures are leftovers but it s a good example of the portions. You don t leave hungry.

Everyone should at least eat here once, so that way they know that yes Corpus still has a great drinks, food, fun, great service restaurant. The one on 37 near CalAllen has one thing Corpus doesnt and its worth the drive you have to try the cajun red fish on rice pilaf its a favorite also the Grilled or fried Chicken Sandwich (both great) on a bun (not toast my preference). Great wings with sauces from hottt pineapple habanero to sweet and savory secret sauce. Get lemon pepper wings with sauces of 2 or more on side to dip and mix dip and dont forget to dunk in ranch last you wont be sorry its great. As far as sides all are good but my favorite are those fresh cooked green beans. A must try place it will be your favorite with or without kids. Kid-friendliness: Great crane machine that kids can actually win playing with 3 sections of prizes. Let the crane and toys keep them busy while you relax and catch up with family and friends over grear drinks and food and a good time... The only place in Texas to have Pokeballs with figurines to collect. Everyone there loves kids and seems to have lots of kid parties in free party room.

I love this place. The staff, always sweet and welcoming, enhances the experience. When I go with friends, we consistently enjoy a good meal. Devon, our go-to waitress, is really nice and attentive. I had shrimp tacos , the grilled shrimp was some of the best I have eaten. I did not care for the pico on it . I would order without it next time. I asked for the spicy mayo on the side. When the server sat it down, there was another small container on plate , what is that? Oh, just a salsa, they serve with it. Well, let me tell you , DO NOT put it on your tacos till you taste it!! I am from Texas , like spicy salsa , but this was HOT ,in fact, hotter than most red sauce in local Mexican restaurants. Luckily, I tasted it first, but since the server did not say it was HOT , I tasted too much!! So beware!! I also like to taste my food , not just heat!! I had a side of roasted corn , it was very good. Next time, I would put the corn on my tacos , not what came on it. My husband had the brisket tacos. He thought 3 tacos might not be enough , but they were stuffed full, and he said the brisket was tasty . He even added some of my corn and some of my spicy mayonnaise. Our first time here, we wanted to take my 92 yo mom to eat for her BD, looked at their menu and took a chance . We had a party of 15-17 , KAyla (?) was our server. Everyone loved their food, girls sang bd song for mom. We definitely will be back ! Thanks for making our first visit great

Excellent food and service. Adi was an awesome server and helped us with any questions we had. Queso with brisket and chips made for a great appetizer. Seafood was so good from the fried shrimp to the fried catfish. Excellent wings and sandwiches. Draft beer was refreshing and so was the frozen watermelon margarita. The fried ice scream was delicious! Everything we tried was flavorful and well portioned. Will highly recommend to family and friends!

I have been here a few times. Everything is always great. I ordered some hot wings and ordered the mild buffalo wings, which was the first time I actually ordered them. When they came out they looked hot but wasnt sure if thats the way they were. I ate one and it was extremely hot. I tried another just to be sure, and even scraped off the layer or cooked saucer on it. Those were extremely hot. I notified the waitress. It turns out they have met someones habanero wings. My stomach was already upset because its not used to the heat. She brought her out the wings that were mine. I ate one and left the whole basket there. My stomach wasnt feeling it any longer. So I paid for wings that I couldnt really eat.

Great place to kick back after work. They have plenty of seating for both family and an 18+ side in the bar area. Servers are attentive, drinks specials alternate often, and the food is top notch. Calallen / Annaville needed a breath of fresh air in options, and we definitely got it with BWB.
