This place is absolutely terrible. The food took 2 hours to come out. Half my table left to go get food elsewhere at about 1.5 hours in. Once the food showed up it was cold and honestly tasted terrible. The owner showed up and was nasty and rude to me telling me all the things he wouldnt do and asked me what I wanted. All I wanted was to pay for what I had consumed and leave after 3 hours of being there for no reason. Once I gave my card for the bill the waiter brought me someone elses card and bill to sign. Once I pointed it out they started yelling at me about giving them the wrong card, and blaming me when they literally are holding my card and just needed to run it for my bill. Probably the worst experience Ive ever had at a restaurant. Owners name is Rob and hes very nasty and rude. Please dont ever go here, you will regret it

I had the Cobb salad and took the Fish Tacos home to my hubby. The salad was fresh, huge and the Blue Cheese dressing was excellent. My friend had the Steak Avocado salad and was impressed as it was her first visit to this restaurant. Our waiter whos name I didnt catch (hes a 30ish bearded guy) was attentive without being intrusive like on my previous visits which is a skill in itself. The food and waitstaff make for a great experience and I highly recommend The Bar and Grill for your next meal out. Sorry I met a friend I hadnt seen in awhile and we were so busy talking I forgot to take pictures! Parking: At times parking can be tight, especially lunchtime when most of the other businesses are open.

We been here several times and with my service dog Hunter. Hes highly trained, certified, and people friendly. But last week the big guy behind the bar asked us to leave because Hunter didnt have a service vest. Hunter did have a service collar and leash. He still didnt believe he was a certified service dog. I had to show him his ID card. And even then he was hesitant to let us dine in. Helping out the local restaurants sometimes sucks. But I will say they have great food. Thank you very much

DONT EVER EVER GO HERE We arrived at 6:45 got our food at 9:20 had half our party leave because they had small children and could not wait any longer. Our food arrived lukewarm, under seasoned and under flavored. The owner arrived and told us he d comp our meal after our terrible experience just to give us more attitude when it took him another 30 minutes to close our tab when there where only 4 other parties at the restaurant at the time. The waitstaff and bartender were great but the owner and cooks are sorely lacking in actual experience. I d even go to faijitaville who serves frozen chicken over this place.

Me and my wife went there with our three kids and friends ordered appetizers about 20 minutes after arriving the appetizers took about 30 minutes to come out. I ordered spicy cheesy fries and the Che on them were stale. Then, after we waited an hour and a half after ordering, we decided to leave because the food still hadn t come to the table. Our kids were able to finish a whole movie. The waitresses never kept us updated on the food. The drinks were OK. They came out on time so I suggest if you go there go for drinks don t order food unless you plan on waiting 45 to 2 hours and be mindful that something may come out cold or be stale when you get your food.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. My boyfriend and I decided to try this place out because we have never been there before and from the look of the website the food looked relatively good. When we get there we decide to try out their spicy pickle appetizer and it just tasted like I was drinking the old oil from the fryer. No spice at all. Then we decide to order some kind of fish tacos and although they tasted decent, it was not good enough to be worth the food poisoning I got from it. And not to mention our server decided to walk out of the restaurant in the middle of serving us to go to some nearby shop to get some drinks. Nowhere to be seen for 15-20 minutes. 10/10 do not eat here

All was great until school was out. Seemed to become an after school day care. Decimal levels went way up. We all love our children, giggles and laughter are amazing. However it is a place where persons gather to enjoy a great meal & beverages. Not so enjoyable when it is so loud one can not have a conversation with the persons at their table due to the after school atmosphere. Timing is everything.

Overall bad experience, the service was slow and the food was cold. Took about 45 minutes for our food to come out. You could tell the food had been sitting under a heat lamp for a while . My friend s salad had no dressing and tons of bad lettuce. THEN when we tried to find the waitress and ask her about it, she was no where to be found! She finally came back out after 20 minutes. And we told her about it and she just said sorry and offered no solution. If your looking for a bar your in the right place, but if your looking for a good eat I d look else where.

Nice neighborhood bar and grill to have food with friends or maybe a drink at the bar. Friendly staff and the owner is a really nice guy. The bar tender during my visit is awesome! Look for Erika for great drinks and conversation. She makes a great Ol Fashioned. I had the mushroom Swiss burger with chips made in-house. Fries are also available. Very tasty burger. There are lots of options on the menu to choose from.

Always a cool place to eat and enjoy a couple drinks. The food is great, atmosphere is relaxing, and it s never been noisy or hard to hear when we ve gone. One of our favorite places to eat. Was already contemplating not coming back after realizing how drunk the bartenders get while at work. Decided to give them another shot... If you get Misty as your server make sure to keep a copy of you receipt because she will steal from you by giving herself a higher tip at your expense. Talked to the manager and he just gave me the money she stole from me in cash and walked away. Felt like my meal should have been comped, or a promise of him to speak to the server at the very least but you could tell he didnt care at all.

David Lee is a restaurant guru! We try each of his new concepts and always fall in love! This place in the Bluff is cool and cozy! The Philly cheesesteak eggrolls are such an unexpected find! Pricing is super reasonable and the cocktails are top quality with lots of craft specialty options! Extra bonus points for opening after crazy weather and always taking care of community locals! We are appetizers and a single cocktail kind of people- this is a great place to stop in and let them make a suggestion or surprise you!

I was excited to find a local place a year ago when we bought a weekend home in the bluff. Closed on my home here. Terrible experience for a glass of wine and signing. Terrible service. Terrible ambiance. Terrible food- half cold half not. Three time customer exact same experience. Had to get up and ask how to pay. Horrible glaring lights. Hassled by musician on the way in for tips. I emailed the restaurant to get feedback and no response. Sad. I d love to have a local place to go now that we re full timers. Not this place. Moving on.

Stopped in for a late lunch. More people than I thought for the middle of the day , which I did not mind , it is a bar , but it took a long time to even get my menu. I got the burger of the month, Spicy Pickle burger. The server was nice , but I wish ALL servers would warn you when the place has HUGE portions. Ask have you had a burger here before ? We offer large portions , something to let me know it could have been shared for sure. It was very good the French fries were crisp , & well seasoned . I did take home half the burger and half the fries. At $12.00 , it was a burger , especially since it could have been lunch for 2. This place is not your normal stop for food since it is a bar, but there were kids in here , so stop if you want great food with a diverse menu. Parking: It is a strip center , so depending on day or time , parking could be harder , but it was a weekday, mid afternoon, and there were plenty of spaces. Kid-friendliness: There were kids here from infant in a carrier to 4 or 5 years old.

Eat there. Some of the best food we ve ever had. Everything was incredible and fresh. The ribeye was one of the best cuts of meat, cooked and seasoned perfectly. A gem in the bluff. Do not miss this one. Prices are amazing, large list of craft beers, but no draft beers. Many TVs for watching sports. Triple Decker Club was toasted perfectly, with thick bacon, turkey, and ham with two types of cheese and fancy mustard. Fully recommend. Chili cheese dog was huge. My son gave up eating it with his hands halfway through and had to use a fork and knife. He recommends it. Breakfast burger was cooked just as ordered. Fully recommend. After reading the great reviews, I ordered takeout and food was so disappointing. To start with, food was cold at pick up, we were told 20 min for prep time, we were there within 15. The mahi mahi tacos were dry, tortillas stale, the pico stale and beans unflavored. The og burger, pretty disappointing too. Fries cold and extremely seasoned and salty, lettuce on the burger old and brown, tomato stale and discolored. The crab corn was meh, looked like a can of corn with a few pieces of crab in a small salsa cup. Do not recommend.

Went in for some quick bites, just to try something new. Quaint little place in a strip mall, unassuming. The menu d had done interesting stuff on it but very approachable. My friend and I enjoy sharing appetizers so we picked a few that we thought would be up our alley. Everything we ate was delicious. There crispy Brussels sprouts lived up to there name, with just enough dressing to be apparent without downing them and taking away their delicate texture. The disco fries were perfectly seasoned and the queso/brown gravy combo was spot on, not to salty like those things can be, and the crispy bacon on those and the sprouts was divine. Even the hush puppies were just perfect, crispy in the outside and bready inside and the sauce they were served with was just great. Will 100% be going back to try more, and avail ourselves of what looks to be a very well stocked bar. Highly recommend!

Mannn this place use to be good. Went here the other day and ordered the special . Nothing special to it. The fish was soooooo dry. I literally had better fish at Boat N Net. I told the server and she did nothing about it. It was $30 for my plate and couldn t even eat the fish. When I chewed it it was so rubbery I couldn t even swallow it! Very disappointed in the service and the food. I wouldn t have minded spending $30 on a plate of food it it was good but I didn t even get to eat anything and still had to pay for it. Ordered online. Walked in to pick up. 3 female workers were standing in front of the ice machine talking. No one said hi/can I help you/ nothing. I went to the bar... still nothing. Then they walked away. I went to one and told her I had a to go order. She got another one to help me - not very good customer service skills. The chicken fried steak was bland and parts of the meat tasted like it was on the verge of spoiling. The smashed taters were at least a day old reheated. Brussel sprout were sweet - maybe some like that. I didnt. Duck wings were ok. Cobb salad was messy, but overall ok. Only the turkey tasted bad. Menu online and other reviews were good so I thought I would try. Disappointing for sure, wont be going back.

Good food, friendly and attentive staff,seems very popular. Hubby had chicken fried steak which was so big we could have shared it. Fish tacos were good but a bit dry,a sauce of some sort should be good to add. All in all enjoyed it and will be back

This is a very low key place, that people probably overlook, but we had a very nice meal there. I had the Steak Avocado Salad, which the steak was cooked to perfection. My sister had the Brussels sprouts. She raved about them. My husband ordered the chili cheese fries which were yummy. The service was good. I highly recommend this place.

This place was great! The service was fast and we were taken good care of. We got the Philly cheese steak egg rolls with queso, they were great. We both got the chicken fried steak and it was massive, flavorful, and tender, best ive had in ages. The sides were excellent as well. I would highly recommend this place. They also have an extensive beer, wine, and spirits list. Ill be back.

Outside, the place looks unassuming. I actually thought it was closed. Had the rib eye with brussel sprouts and corn with lobster sauce. Steak was 16oz. Too big that I had to share with hubby. Food was excellent. Plan to be a regular when Im here in Corpus.

I just moved down to Corpus this is one of my favorite places for lunch if you go there Tuesday through Thursday ask for Taylor and tell her its the menu is curious its an inside joke shell bust out laughing I do highly recommend the food the cheesecake is better than cheesecake Ive had and five star restaurants

My son and I enjoyed our meals. It wasnt busy at all and we were surprised because it was only 6pm. Chicken fried steak was good, the meat was tender and the breading was nice and crispy. Cream gravy was a little bland but still ok. I really enjoyed the lobster creamed corn. I could eat that side as a main dish. My son had a slab of ribs and they were good. The side of brussel sprouts were delicious. I recommend you give them a try.

Stopped in here on the recommendation of the RV park we are staying at and so glad we did. Nice little restaurant with a variety of options. Sat at the bar and Ryan was courteous and very helpful. The kitchen even made me homemade cocktail sauce for my meal. Amazing service.

This place never disappoints everytime I stop in when Im not on the road working. Drinks are always consistent as well as the food! Great service. Phenomenal food. Among us, we had the breakfast burger, the steak and avocado salad, and the lobster mac and cheese. The burger: crispy bacon, over medium egg, and perfectly seasoned patty. The salad: steak cooked well and extremely flavorful. The lobster mac: OMG...I want more, please! We cant wait to go back.

I ran across this little restaurant I had the best experience of my life. The wait staff was so friendly and sweet and quickly sat us down and gave us the menu. I had the blackend chicken pasta which was so freaking good. The chicken was perfectly cooked and the pasta melts in your mouth. Would definitely go again.

Just left the Bar & Grill, with a full belly and a smile on our face! We had gotten the Brussel Sprouts with honey sauce as our appetizer. They were so good, addictive, cant eat just one! Well worth it! I had the Chicken Fried Chicken and mother had the Tuna Salad. Both meals were delicious! Everything was great and we even talked about going there again.
