Interesting place. Nice view of water and occasional boater. The fried shrimp was excellent, plenty of fried frozen fries, fried oysters were very small pieces as if they had been cut that way. They were very strong and some were to tough to eat, coleslaw was tasteless, but we enjoyed the salad after we got someone to take off the impossible lid.

My bill was 54 dollars. I used a credit card but did not get a receipt. When I checked my account I was billed for 62 dollars. That does not seem right that a restaurant can do that. I not sure if they charge for using a credit card or they just add to my bill. We eaten there several times and I never notice this before. We will not eat there again and if I do I will get a receipt to make sure this does not happen again.

We went to Snoopys and ended up leaving. The cashier could not ring up our order because he couldnt find most of the requests on the cash register. Then we couldnt pay because he didnt know how to use the card reader. Total disaster and we wont be returning.

This had to be the driest experience Ive ever had. i was so shocked i couldnt belive it this was a train wreck, fish Jerky, bland oilly batter, no seasoning, I was assaulted by this meal. I couldnt stop, one fish came in and was nah im good i have some moisture, that ; things would be better.Then BAM!! backhanded into next Tuesday by the teeth flossing Floor Carpet of a fish that finished off this toxic relationship. P.S they gave us crackers with this meal. As I sat weeping and sweeping up, the pieces of humanity that I had remaining. I took out these saltines. Clasped one between my traumatized lips the floppy stiff stick of a cracker had the audacity to be STALE!!!

Location was good with nice views, I got the combo fried plate ,oyster, shrimp,fish(cod), fries, and crab cake. The seafood tasted very fishy especially the shrimp. All the food had so much oil no seasoning. I expected better since it so close to the gulf but I never have eaten seafood from corpus christi 1st time was not a good experience.

This restaurant has always been one of my favorite places since my children were small.Theyre all grown up now, and I take my grandchildren there now. Food is always a wide selection. It is plentiful. The serving staff is friendly, plenty of space to sit down inside and outside. Kids had fun watching the fish in the pier.

Look, we ve been going to snoopys for over 15 years. And I get it, things change. Just here to voice my opinion. Snoopys used to have mahi fish fried as a standard. Used to be a family of 4 could get fish and chips each and a pound of peel and eat. 50-60 bucks. Now the fish is cod, heavily battered. You can still request mahi. But when we ordered the same thing as years ago, with the request of mahi (4 piece), you re well over 115 bucks. Staff don t yell your name out enthusiastically when your order is ready anymore. Was always part of it. Sad to see the change. Quality still the same after the special requests.

My first restaurant we went to when we moved to corpus Christi. The best fried fish, shrimp had a drink from the bar. Something like a creamy coconut/pineapple drink with nutmeg? It was so good! We also watched the boat parade from Snoopys Pier around Christmas. Love it there!

This was from a couple weeks prior to the post date. We were returning back north with the boat from Riviera after the last storm scare. As we got close to the JFK, my co-worker and I decided to dock at Snoopys for something to eat. GREAT idea... Ordered Two of the Hamburger plates to go. One with Fries, and one with Onion Rings. I wish that I had taken a photo of them ... The patties on the Burgers were at least pounds and Thick! The veggies were fresh also. Fries were fresh from the Fryer and the Onion Rings were delicious!

What I can say about this place is, the atmosphere is amazing outside, the staff are nice. What I did not like was my food, I ordered the Grilled Mahi Mahi blackened $28.50, it was wayyyy over cooked just nasty. The nice staff offered to make it over again or try a different fish. I decided to try the red fish and got it back it a timely manor but that fish also was wayyyy over cooked. Jerky fish is the best way to describe my food, the rice also had many dry pieces in it which was very upsetting. I did not complain about my second plate I just picked around it.

Got here about 4:30 on a Saturday and got our food really fast and it was delicious. There was a line out the door by the time we left but we went back for ice cream at scoopys next door around 8 and the line wasn t that long. Been coming to Snoopys for a LOOOOONG time. We always enjoy the drum sticks. Today was something else. It was busier than Ive ever seen it and judging the speed (or lack thereof) of service, they werent ready for it either. There was nowhere to sit and the registers kept printing receipts. Every table was packed and there were lines of people waiting on their food. I can personally vouch for this place on a standard business day but the huge dinner rush totally overwhelmed them. With the exception of one lady, all the staff was friendly, understanding, and hustling to get food out. My order was wrong when I got it, and now I wonder if maybe I was overcharged after spending over $100. I didnt get my receipt. Its almost 9:45 and we finally got all of our partys food. Ill be back, but never on a summer weekend.

Snoopy s was recommended by a friend and I wish I had gone last night instead of where I ate but that s a different review. Canned beers for $2.50 yes please. Cold and ready to drink. I had the fish and chips with curly instead of regular fries and this meal was on point. The fish flaky and the batter crispy. The fries were traditional curly fries. It came with slaw that was lacking in flavor but was fresh. Chose to sit outside because location, location, location! Bartender was nice but scatter brained and not very knowledgeable about the restaurant menu, despite being a full service bar. One suggestion for the restaurant .the outside full service bar could use fans to help with the ever present mosquitos. All in all .standard island fare. Decent pricing and a wonderful view. Would come back again.

We have been coming to Snoopys for years and we are not locals! The food is typically always amazing, not tonight, tonight the fish was over cooked. I will also say their prices have gone up, and it seems the quality of the food has gone down, way down! The fish actually tastes different like they switched something up, then being over cooked on top of that, for the price you pay you would think you were eating in a 5 star restaurant with ac. Way too expensive for the quality of food you get! You use to get hushpuppies and cole slaw with your order, didnt happen this time! In the past when we have come to Snoopys youre lucky if you get a table, this time you had your pick of any table. Guess that should have been our first indicator! We are very disappointed in the change at Snoopys and if the new owners dont get it together they will lose alot of customers, and maybe they already have!! It would be nice for the owners to see this and explain why the drastic changes to the food, and price increases that dont warrant the quality of the food.

My great niece and I were in town for Vacation Bible School. Once we were done, I had to show her Corpus Christis select restaurant and sites! Snoopy was a must and did not disappoint! We ordered 6 pieces fried shrimp with sweet potato fries and 6 pieces fried cod with regular fries. I gave my niece the choice of seating inside or outside, and of course, she chose outside! Texas heat was all that, but the view was amazing! Our meals were delicious, but the fish was a bit overcooked. It was batter fried too hard! I love this spot. I was able to secure outdoor seating on the deck and worked on my tan. During this visit, I ordered something different. I ordered a spicy rice and shrimp meal that didnt taste spicy at all. I think the cooked forgot to add the heat. I also had a tasty alcoholic coconut drink from the bar. Honestly, I love Snoopys. We have been going there for years and have enjoyed the atmosphere every time. We have watched it grow from a little hole in the wall to an extremely well respected dining establishment. The food is good, but the prices they now charge dont make it great. $22 for a fish and chips plate is a bit exorbitant. I also wish the outside deck was better shaded. It is almost impossible to find a seat in the restaurant after 3 PM and from June to Sept, you better bring your sunglasses and be prepared to sweat whilst eating. I really miss the Snoopys I used to know and love, but I guess everything changes.

First time here and we loved it! We usually go to a resturant next to it. Snoopys was very affordable for what you get! Their hushpuppies were so tasty! As well as their fish tacos, the batter was light and crispy and the fish was delicious! We will definitely be coming back again! I ordered the combo, they were out of oysters so they said they would add more fish and shrimp to compensate. When the food came out it didnt have oysters or the additional shrimp or fish, just the 4 shrimp and 2 fish on the plate. I brought this to their attention and all they did was add 1 piece of shrimp while acting very overwhelmed with the request. I paid close to 30$ for the plate, if they dont have the full plate it should be less money or more of something else to compensate. Dont charge me the full price and give me less than. All in all wont be coming back, too pricey to not be full and feel screwed

A place with atmosphere. In my opinion, the food is averagely tasty. Way too much breading on the shrimp and too much batter on the fish. The cake is tasty, but it overpowers the taste of the fish. The fries were also great. Large portions. Still, its worth coming here.

Place used to be so good we would go quite often but ever since the new owners and changed recipes not worth the over priced food u get. The fish is not good at all any more no flavor and its smaller .The atmosphere is great always loved sitting outside but unfortunately its not enough to keep us coming back. Such a let down :/

Location is good, close to the Port A area. Parking is very limited and tight. Staff are reasonably friendly and helpful. We have been going here for years after a day at the beach and its still a family favorite. If you plan to come here with family and friends, seating for large groups is challenging so make sure to make a reservation before you go so they will get some tables ready for you.

My picture is still on the wall of a tarpon I caught when I was 12 off Bob Hall pier. Doubt I ll be going back. Food and was good, but prices are ridiculous

During our visit to Snoopys Pier, we experienced an incredibly crowded atmosphere. It took 45 minutes just to get a seat, although sitting overlooking the water was a beautiful experience. Unfortunately, the wait for our meals exceeded the time it took to be seated, and we noticed other patrons around us were also without their food and were expressing their frustration. One of the dishes I ordered was the coconut shrimp, which cost $15 and came with a mere four shrimp. This seemed outrageous, especially compared to the calamari, which came in a full basket. I ended up sending the shrimp back. To make matters worse, when we received our bill, we were surprised to find an automatic 18% gratuity added for our group of four adults, a baby, and a 2-year-old. It seemed excessive, considering the baby and the toddler hardly ate anything. This charge likely aimed to ensure the waiter received a decent tip despite the poor service. Additionally, we were hit with a 4% merchant fee for using a Visa credit card. This not only felt unfair, as we werent informed about this charge upfront, but it also goes against the credit card companys policies. Overall, the service was horrible, and the food was just okay. We will not be returning to Snoopys Pier.

Love Snoopys. Its a bit more low key than Docs but good food people and atmosphere for something more casual. Came here on my honey moon in 2016 and loved coming back 8 yrs later. They have decent prices on alcohol. I love the classic fish and chips. Been around for a long time and still going strong. It just has a nice relaxed dockside feel.

Came across this place from a Texas Monthly article about Costal Seafood that mentioned Snoopy s in the same breath as Dirty Al s (SPI) and King s Inn, so I had to give it a try. Order at the front when you walk in, and find an open seat. My fried seafood basket had oysters, shrimp, and fish which were all fried in a different batter (oysters were kind of chicken fried, shrimp traditional, fish beer battered). The short and sweet is this place a winner, and worth venturing out of the way for. Ding ding. Money.

On a Memorial Day weekend mini family vacation to Corpus Christi from Oklahoma. Snoopy s was found by my sister looking for restaurants through online searches and she sent me the info. The moment I looked at the menu and website I knew we had to go. The food was amazing and staff were friendly. The music was good. Because it was a holiday weekend the line was out the door and there was a wait but in my opinion the wait was worth it. Probably the best restaurant I ate at this trip. Definitely get the crab stuffed jalapeños! The full combo plate was pricey but the amount of food you get is worth it.

We decided to try Snoopy s after eating at Doc s yesterday and this was an interesting restaurant! You walk up to order and then go pick a seat, wait for your name to be called to grab your food. They had plenty of seating both inside and outside which the outside had awesome views of the bay. We got the Full Combo Basket and it was great! 4 fried shrimps, 4 fried oysters, 3 hush puppies, and 2 fried fish with fries which was split between my mom and I. Warning! This is not like a regular dine-in restaurant!!! You will need to stand in line, order your food, & then find your seat & your name will be called when ready. If you are coming here for beachfront view go before 6:30pm to get seating right next to water. Outside patio seating is a little ghetto (old) but still enjoyable. My husband wanted to come here specifically to try the Mahi Mahi which he got fried and absolutely LOVED. I got the fried fish platter and it was good, shrimp was huge, but fish was a little undercooked as far as the breading goes. Thick breading undercooked isn t too tasty. I will say the fries are amazing. This place is known for their fried seafood. We did see 2 Dolfins swimming which was neat! Oh they also have an ice cream bar & for my husband and 2 boys to get cones it was $26 and my husband said not that good.

Fried fish is delicious! Its absolutely perfectly fried. Also had a great brocoli side. Lots of times steamed brocoli in restaurants comes sad, kinda mushy, and faded green. This was still crunchy in bright green, very good. Food
