From the moment you arrive, it feels like youre entering a five-star resort. The design of the property, the amenities, the hospitality and the team on the property make it feel like a luxury stay. It gives Palm Springs meets Tulum vibes. You cant compare it to anything else in the Corpus Christi region, because there simply isnt anything like it. Lively Beach exceeded my expectations, and it is my new go-to hotel destination in South Texas. Rooms: The rooms were so nicely decorated in a tulum style decor. Nearby activities: love that they have guest activities and theres also a ton of beach activities in the area, such as kayak rentals, jet skis, and even helicopter rides. Walkability: two words: beach access

This was a wonderful place for a port-A surf getaway. It s on a secluded part of the island where there s a lot of peace and quiet and if there s some swells a good place for surf. They have kitchenettes and it s a good place where you can chill with your family or some friends and just enjoy some surf for a couple days. But if you want to drive into the portA city and get some nice seafood, that s close too. The facility has a wood walk deck to the main beach and they had some live music on the beach at the fire pit.

I am writing this in Korean for Korean people. This is a decent accommodation! It was amazing that there was a place like this in Texas so close to the ocean. There is only one bed in all accommodations, but this is not a disadvantage as you can use the sofa bed in the living room. Breakfast is not provided, but there is HEB nearby, so procuring ingredients is not difficult. However, I think you need to consider the season carefully, but there are a lot of mosquitoes in the grass around the walkway from the accommodation to the sea. You need to take good measures against mosquitoes. And in the summer sea, jellyfish the size of cushions often wash up on the beach. Be careful not to get stung by jellyfish. The sand has a texture somewhere between sand and sand, so its great for children to play in the sand, but if you go there hoping to take a walk on the beach, you may be a little disappointed. Still, overall it was a good accommodation.

Lively Beach offers an excellent getaway experience. I enjoyed a wonderful stay with convenient access to the beach and the resort-style pool, along with stunning views from both the balcony and rooftop. We utilized the contactless check-in process, which was seamless, especially since we arrived after 4 PM. The fully equipped kitchen allowed us to prepare meals for our family without any hassle. Also, fire pit and live music was such a great touch this past weekend. I highly recommend staying here if you are in the area!!

Our stay at Lively Beach was an absolute disaster. This was our third time booking here, but after this experience, we will never return. While the place itself is nice, the management and staff are absolutely horrible. We booked for one night, and the AC in our room didn t work. We asked the front desk to fix it, and they sent maintenance, who confirmed the AC was broken. However, the front desk refused to change our room and basically ignored the issue, completely ruining our night. After hours of arguing, we were forced to call the police just to get them to address the problem. When the cops arrived, suddenly their attitude changed. Omar, the manager, showed up, and they finally moved us to another room. Omar promised us, in front of the police, that we would get a free night due to all the trouble. But after several follow-ups, Omar completely ignored us and refused to honor his promise. He is an absolute liar and a terrible manager. To top it off, the first room didn t even have basic toiletries like shampoo or body wash. When we asked the front desk for some, the woman there rudely told us it wasn t her responsibility and that we should go find housekeeping ourselves. Unbelievable! Avoid this place at all costs. It was one of the worst hotel experiences we ve ever had.

Room was just a bit sparse but perfect for a beach resort. Nice big bed, coffee maker, microwave, etc GREAT location a bridge over the Dunes right at the beach! Wanna rent a golf cart? Cool, they got you. The one thing you HAVE to remember - bug spray. Holy moly, never been bitten more times in my life. Of course no reflection on this place. Pretty dang awesome pool too!

We enjoyed the view from this hotel. However, there are a few considerations for future visitors. 1) This place has a ton of mosquitoes. We suspect this hotel has food or water resources to keep them there. Maybe a mosquito treatment is needed. 2) The floor is filthy. My husband wore black color socks, and the white color pet hair stuck to his socks after walking on the floor. 3) The door to the beach doesnt work.

Its a great location in a quite place with beach access, music and drink at night. Floors were a bit dirty with what I assumed was some kind of animal hair. The mosquito population is out of control,so be prepaired to be quickly swarmed at night in the parking lot.

Our stay started out very nice. There is a massive mosquito issue every night that makes it unbearable to be outside your room. The pool was also overwhelmed with people not staying at the resort Saturday night. Water pressure in the shower was not good.

My boyfriend and I wanted to spend our summer vacation near a beach and this was the perfect place. The building and room styles are modern and cute. It is very pretty when it is lit up at night. The room was very spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed. The one thing I d recommend is having better AC to cool the whole room, but the room was cooler than outside. We chose this place due to the walkability to the beach. I would say to be prepared to get a workout carrying beach items and walking up and down stairs especially with it hot and humid. The beach is very nice compared to others. The pool is very nice. I would recommend having an outdoor shower by the boardwalk instead of inside the pool to rinse stuff off. We never had any issues with mosquitoes. I wore off spray once during our entire trip and didn t get bit. Staff and maintenance were friendly. Overall we really really enjoyed our stay and even added more days to our trip because we loved it so much! We can t wait to visit again. p.s I HIGHLY recommend trying out Coffee Waves trailer just down the road! Walkability: The beach is about a 5 minute walk from the resort. Be prepared it is a bit of a hike going up and down a few set of stairs on the board walk lugging along beach essentials.

Things I like about this location: Quiet and secluded. Good size rooms. Plenty of towels. There are social events every evening but we did not partake. Right by the beach location Everything we need to make a simple meal in the kitchen. Gated Connecting to Wi-Fi is a breeze. No password needed Things to improve on: AC in the living room wasnt strong enough to cool the secondary bedroom so that room is always warm. Mosquitoes were terrible! I got at least 10 bites just from walking from the car to the room. I understand this is the wetlands and mosquitoes are inevitable. But I feel they can be better controlled with outdoor fogging practices. The TV did not work half the time. It didnt bother me too much but I wish it worked as you would expect when you check into a resort. I wish there was an outdoor shower at our block as we drove to the beach and I wish we could rinse off our feet before going into our unit. The only showers are before the beach boardwalk. It would keep sand off the floors and beds. 2-ply toilet paper would be nice. We are not savages.

Staying here for my birthday was an epic fail! My husband booked here for my birthday as it s right on the beach we go to and it said it s a resort. We ve stayed at top notch resorts and this place isn t a resort even though they charge resort prices. About an hour away, my husband hadn t received the email with our room or code as he was supposed to. When he called, they told him they had someone cancel our reservation because someone died? Totally baffled! After letting her know that absolutely was not correct, she said okay come on in. About 30 mins later the girl calls back and says there is a maintenance issue in the room we were supposed to stay in so they were going to place us in a different room and we would have to go to our room the following day. (So we never unpacked , we just grabbed what we needed out of our luggage) Upon arriving to check in, my husband, and I both asked the girl at the front what time we would have to be out the room the following day as he had Planned a full day of events and we wanted to make sure everything ran smooth. The lady told us everything was up in the air but there was no time frame that we needed to get out of the room we were temporarily put in. they would call or text us whenever the room is ready and we could give them an estimated time of when we would be back. We told her we just wanted to make sure because more than likely we would not arrive back to the condos until after 5 pm. Everything was fine. Our room was decent, a little dirty, there was blood on the sheets and one our room towels had old blood on it also. I brought my own body and hair care products, but for those wanting to use the body wash, shampoo and conditioner, make sure they are filled up in your room as ours were almost empty. Also, this place really needs to address their mosquito issues on the property. We were eaten alive. In the evening we went to check out the roof top , walked around the little place and walked down the beach ramp. Unfortunately, we could not enjoy very much Out there because the mosquitoes were just terrible. ( This is also not a ADA compliant ramp for those who might need it.) The following day we packed up and went out to enjoy the day. Around 12 pm, the property manager calls and tells my husband we need to come back to the room and move our belongings to the room we are now supposed to be in so they can get the current room we re in, cleaned up for the next visitors. He explained the conversation we had with the young lady at check in yesterday And she responded to him by saying you need to come move your belongings. He told her that was Impossible as weren t close by and right in the middle of an event. Then he let me try and level with the property mgr & matters got worse. As I explained the check in conversation we had with the front, she said well sorry for the miscommunication, come get your stuff. I told her we will be there when we get there & disconnected the call. She calls back 8 minutes later TELLING my husband THEY WERE GOING TO MOVE OUR PERSONAL BELONGINGS TO THE OTHER ROOM! Which of course infuriated the both of us. There is too much to type that happened in the conversation with the property manager but needless to say, after trying to level with this clown, I had to request for the GM to call me. The GM was so nice and respectful. Understood & heard us out. of course his manager did not explain the miscommunication between the staff on the grounds, but just told him we didn t want to come back and pick up our stuff. We came to an agreement and we allowed his cleaning manager to move our personal belongings to the new room which was done with care. Another situation happened that evening with the condos but again, the GM took great care of us so I m not going to even bring it up. Ultimately, our state was eh! We will never stay here again. I m giving it more than one star because the GM was really great. Rooms: Rooms need additional cleaning. Old Blood stains on our linen and towel. Noteworthy details: The ramp access is not ADA compliant for those who might need it.

Reality did not meet expectations. Lively Beach Resort bills itself as a luxurious resort with a variety of amenities and services, and a commitment to excellence. Based on this description and pictures/videos online my fiancé and I thought it might be a nice place to host our wedding. We booked 2 nights mid week in July and paid almost $900 for the two of us and our dogs to stay in a studio condo. To be clear, I am not a picky person but with a price this high I have certain expectations. Because of the price and the advertising I was expecting a cute boutique resort. That was not our experience. Within a few hours of our arrival we had cancelled our appointment to tour the facility and were discussing going home early. We only stayed because we didn t want to drive the 4 hours home after we just got out of the car. The gate code that was emailed to us didn t work when we arrived. We drove in through the exit gate because it was open and stayed open for the duration of our stay. The room itself was not luxurious. There were several maintenance issues, it was not very clean, and not well stocked. We thought there would be everything we needed to cook dinner but there was no knife and no seasonings or cooking oil. My fiancé had to prep our dinner with his pocket knife. There was an empty tissue box in the bathroom with no tissues, dirt on the walls, peeling paint, footprints on the floor, the linens had visible stains, odors and there were several other issues. We had an accident with our bedding where it needed to be replaced shortly after arrival so I stripped the bed and called the office to ask for replacements. They did respond quickly and sent someone who picked up the fitted sheet, the flat sheet, the duvet, and duvet cover. In exchange they gave us a duvet. No sheets or cover. I asked for sheets and was given a flat sheet. Nothing else. We made it work for the rest of the stay. The amenities consist of a pool that doesn t have lights so isn t safe to use at night. Two dirty barbecue grills, a corn hole game, and 3 roof tops with peeling decking. Not sure what the services are they describe because literally everything is DIY. Even taking out your own trash. There is no housekeeping. As many others have said the mosquitos are insane right now and make it hard to be outside. I know this is how it is on the Gulf Coast, but between the mosquitos and all the other bugs it s pretty clear there is no pest control. If the price was half of what we paid and didn t advertise itself as luxury I would give it more stars and say the expectation meets reality, but to say they are a resort and charge resort prices without delivering seems like fraud. I will never come back.

Nice place but rude staff and some rooms are misleading. First, I haven t had issues with check in time ever but our room wasn t ready until 4:45PM. Pretty annoying when you have a child and drive 4 hours. The staff wasn t nice about this at all either when normal customer service would apologize and offer something. Second, I paid for a pool view but the room is far from the pool, you cannot see the pool from most places unless you re on the patio or standing in the corner of the room. There was no mention of heavily obstructed pool view from a far distance, it just said pool view. The rooms are nice, the pool is nice and the beach access is good. The soap in the shower was completely out and shampoo dispenser didn t work at all. The hotel is out away from everything but I knew that going in. What I didn t expect is a ton of mosquitos and it s like camping in Minnesota It s so bad. The little things are annoying but the rest is not bad, and probably a decent stay for a lot of people just don t trust pool view, expect late check in and a rude staff. BTW, I have an Airbnb and if I ran my place like these people I wouldn t get a lot of bookings, just saying.

We stayed here for the second time and overall it was just okay. Last time we came the first week of May and it was perfect. No crowds, nice weather, etc This time, late June/early July and it was VERY different. The shades in all the rooms are basically non existent so its super bright even at night (which was very challenging trying to put toddlers and a baby to sleep) But the worst was the mosquito issue. It was unlike anything Ive ever experienced. There were swarms of them. Usually you dont even see the mosquito that bit you, but these things are like mutant creatures. I walked out to our car from our room and I had ten on me. Just hanging on my clothes biting me. Then they got in the car. Then all over the kids. It was nightmare fuel. Staff is aware but I never saw any type of pest control or anything. They just say yea its an infestation but dont seem to care. Not being able to go outside (even during the day!) around the resort without getting eaten was super disappointing.

Had an amazing two night stay with my family during spring break, the hotel felt like a resort and had extra activities like yoga, s mores, wine, and live music. Lots of parking right in front of your condo and access gate to enter the property. Everything from arrival to departure and in between were very pleasant and added to our relaxing vacation as a family with two younger kids. There was a good mix of couples and families so no one ever seemed out of place, very friendly guests and staff during our entire stay. Most communications were done via text and you get an access code to the gate and your room before you arrive, we had a one bedroom condo and were able to make breakfast and dinner in the condo each night so was fun and cost effective, when you add in what staying in a hotel then eating every meal out versus renting a condo and making meals at home condo is probably cheaper and healthier. The boardwalk with direct access to the beach was a nice perk and the rental golf carts and beach equipment was perfect! The pool was very warm and really big for everyone to spread out in a space of their own. Will definitely come back in the future!

The resort itself is so beautiful with a wonderful location right next to the beach, we had our wedding amongst the sand dunes right near the resort. The day of, Sarah and Marisol did a phenomenal job at coordinating and placing decorations, bringing my husband and I s vision together in such a beautiful way. We told Sarah our wishes and she really pulled through, leaving us with no worries on that big day. Everyone was so friendly and I would highly recommend to couples wanting to have a beautiful beach wedding with various different venue options on the resort. My wife and I spent 7 amazing days at Lively Beach from Sept 23-Sept 30 2023. We spend a lot of time at the coast because we fish a lot and have always driven by Lively Beach wanting to check it out and finally did on our little fishing vacation. The fishing was so hot that we spent far more time on property than we had expected and we were not disappointed. Every single staff member that we encountered were awesome (I wish I could remember all of their names for a shout out, I dont want to leave anybody out) Our room was clean and well stocked in the kitchen with everything that we needed to cook with. There were a couple of very minor things that needed attention in our room and they were promptly taken care of within an hour. Our favorite places on the property were the rooftop areas, the amazing pool area, the fire pit, and the Beach Club area that included a covered BBQ area. Super close proximity to some of the best fishing areas that Corpus/ Port A have to offer and easy access (8 minutes) to HEB or Walmart should you need to restock the fridge or other necessities. If I were to find one thing that could be better, the access to the beach would be very difficult for people with mobility issues or older guests. There are a lot of steep steps to get up over the dunes with no ADA access. Great place, I highly recommend!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. The location is great for a peaceful vacation. The beach access and outdoor amenities are wonderful. The front desk staff was very accommodating to any questions we had. The only cons we found were low water pressure in the bathroom - it was very difficult to get all the sand out of our hair after being at the beach. And, the housekeeping staff barged in at 9:30 AM while we were still preparing to check out by 10 AM.

PROS: Beautiful place and the amenities are wonderful, like the cornhole, fire pit, and BBQ area, beautiful pool as deep as 4ft (perfect for non-swimmers). The outdoor showers by the fire pit and at the pool were helpful. Ice machine and laundry room on site (free ice, laundry machines not free, FYI). Dishes, cookware, bath and body soaps provided. Gated access to the parking lot and beach. Very quiet location. CONS: The walk to the beach is not a very short one or handicap accessible. Theres a ramp on the beach side but there is no ramp at the hotel side, just steps (unless I missed it?). I appreciated the local business suggestions on the sheet that was in our room but location of the front office and ice/laundry room would be helpful too. **If youre sensitive to mold, like me, bring allergy medicine. I understand beach locations have higher humidity and mold is more likely to form, but I suggest deep cleaning and mold checks be performed regularly.

What a beautiful resort. Stayed 7-25-2023 until 7-28-2023 two nights, and wow, it is lovely! It s secluded from everything, has a gated entrance a 1/4 mile private entrance paved road lined with palm trees. The rooms are clean, new looking, bright, good sized, comfortable bed, kitchenette with plates, pans, silverware, large wall mounted tv, bathrooms are bright and clean, modern. The grounds are well kept, and the buildings have a unique different look. The pool is amazing though the water was very warm almost hot from the high temperatures, but still a really nice pool. The skydecks were very nice, enjoy a drink watching the sunset and still be able to see the beach and feel the breeze up there, plenty of chairs/tables and small bars, also pretty string lights and canopies overhead. The boardwalk to the beach is direct access just feet from the resort buildings and parking lot. It is for resort guests only and is just beautiful as you walk toward the beach. It has a code gate near the end so that only resort guests are using it and it s very private feeling. The views from the boardwalk are as pretty as can be. We watched the sunrise our last morning before our departure and it was post card worthy. The resort isn t all too big with 6 buildings, which makes it feel relaxed and not crowded or loud. It s hard to hear anyone around, there weren t loud radios blaring or parties, it was more of a mature clientele but there were some families and that was just fine. It s about 1.5 miles to shopping/restaurants. Someone mentioned mosquitoes in a review and 99% of the time we had no issues at all with mosquitoes except right after sunrise walking from the freshly sprinkler watered green grass near the firepit/boardwalk staircase access, they attacked us all around our ankles. But 20 yards away on the sidewalk there were none, and never had any that I saw in the parking lots nor our sidewalks in between buildings. There are a couple of outdoor open showers conveniently located at the edge of the boardwalk staircase so after your beach time you can wash off the salt and sand. Overall I loved our stay, it was just so nice, relaxing and beautiful.

Resort staff was super friendly and very helpful and always available. Location was beautiful and was secluded. With easy walking or driving distance to the beach. Boardwalk is not wheel friendly and can be difficult if youre hauling wagon to the beach. Theres a huge drop off from the boardwalk to the beach. It was roughly.10mi from end to end of the boardwalk. Theres no fitness center or food on site except for a few snacks available for purchase. But there are lots of food options within 5-7mins. Mosquitos are huge bring bug spray! The unit was really clean and smelled nice. It was a full kitchen with dishes and cooking ware. My only complaint was there was hair/fibers on the sheets. Even with asking for a new set there were hairs/fibers.

We had a lovely stay at Lively Beach. The room was clean and very comfortable. The pool was lovely and it was so nice to be just steps away from the beach. We also appreciated that it was dog friendly. However, I really wish we had been warned about the enormous blood sucking mosquitoes. The property seems to have been built on top of a marsh and I ve never seen bigger or more aggressive mosquitoes in my life - including multiple trips to Africa. As soon as we arrived on the property and exited our car, we were immediately assaulted by a gang of them! The good news is that they really hate DEET but if you re unprepared, they will go after you and your dogs with a vengeance.

Went here for a family vacay during a very busy Father s Day weekend. At first I didn t know my brother and his fiancé booked this place. They just gave me the address and off I was. I rolled in at night and it caught me off guard because it was by itself enclosed in gated parking lot. This resort was cool! It had a variety of different rentable spaces they all were laid out on the property. It had great amenities such as the grill that we used ( gas pit all furnished ) and working sink all under a covered patio. They had a beautiful bridge to the beach as well so no need to drive out to the beach. The rooms had all you needed (pillows / blankets and some extra for couch beds) and kitchen and bathroom and the basic necessities. Our stay had a small back yard patio included. Tv worked and AC units were strong enough during the summer heat. I will say the living room Ac is a bit weak because of lack of air flow to the secondary room so if you have a fan bring one and that will solve that minor issue. Plenty of space for 4 in our little space. I also notice the staff is present and working on upkeep so that was nice to see. Overall great stay! You get to see a lot of wildlife as a bonus! Food and drinks: There is a gas station and donut shop near by! Also an Ice cream shop to enjoy! Down the road is also a Starbucks and plenty of gift shops.

Mostly good but there could be some improvements and this would be a great place to stay. Great location, good beach access but little things could make it much better; more water stations to wash off after a day at the beach, knobs on the doors, more towels, options to hang wet clothes to dry, More COMMUNICATION. There are no instructions shared, no information about local attractions, no follow up before scheduled stay, no receipt provided for payments made, etc. But overall, a decent choice for a place to stay.

I think if your room happens to around the pool you might hear more people. Boardwalk area with fire pit and grills is cool. I appreciate that the property owners didnt blow up the dunes to built the place. There was a lots of nesting birds around and I am happy they leave them be also. Rooms can be really bright in early morning might want to bring an eye mask for sleep. I dont mind the light window coverings however because heavy ones make a place musty. I like that the property is gated.

This is my third stay at Lively Beach. I really love the condo style resort, its closeness to the beach and being able to bring my senior pups. I had a few bumps getting into the resort this time - door keypad not working, nail in my tire (that could have come from anywhere). I wanted to say that Joey, the maintenance lead, took a situation that could have lead to frustration and a bad experience. He made it into a reason to come back. For my doorpad, it died 9p on Sunday. He drove back to work and handled. He, then, made a plan with me to help handle my tire. We met 9am Monday. He installed a spare, gave me tips on buying a tire patch kit. He, then, installed the patch once I returned from the store. He shook my hand and said just come back. His patch got me back home with a working tire. Anyway, bumps happen, but people good at customer relationships are hard to find. Please thank him for me. See you all next time.

Let me start by saying that this is the most cleanest place I ve been to. There isn t even any dirt in the crevices of anything, not a spec of dust, nothing! Cleanliness is one of the most important things when we pick a hotel and the second is customer service. I can t tell you much about customer service because no one calls us back when we have tried to reach out to the front seat a couple of times for clean towels. I know they got our message because someone came to fix the fridge that was leaking. So they just ignored us asking for towels but sent someone for the fridge. That guy was super nice. It would also be nice to have someone at the front desk call us back. I d stay here again but it would be nice to have customer service.

We had an amazing stay at Lively Beach. The condo was super extra clean. We rented a one bedroom two bath with a view. The condo is very roomy and open. There is a TV in the living room and in the bedroom. It is private and secluded. Of course it is the off-season so it may be a bit busier in the summer but we found it nice and quiet. The staff you encounter around the property are very friendly and always greet you with a Hello. The outdoor amenities like the grilling area and the fire pit area are very well maintained. All of the grounds are maintained nicely. It s pricey but I believe it was worth it. We did rent a golf cart, also very pricey, and it required a two day rental. We will not rent a golf cart again because you can t really take it anywhere other than the beach. Since you can drive on the beach the golf cart was unnecessary for us. If you plan on taking a lot of luggage I would not suggest a third floor unit. I would recommend a lower floor unit. It was difficult getting my suitcase up all of those stairs. If you plan on bringing your own food to cook the kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, bowls, plates, cups, etc however you will need to bring everything including salt and pepper if you plan on cooking. They do have a Keurig machine in the unit and they were happy to let us pick up coffee pods from the office daily. They start you out with two sets of towels in each bathroom but will get you fresh towels if you ask. Water pressure in the shower was great and that s helpful when you ve been at the beach all day. But the water pressure in the bathroom sink is not very good. If you are going to the beach, be aware that the beach access has several steps and if you have a full cooler, chairs and other items you re gonna have to carry it up those stairs. I do wish the beach access had a ramp so that you could load up a wagon and cart all of your stuff to the beach. I would definitely stay here again because of how clean it was. Now I just know a little bit more about what to expect.

We just returned from a 6 night stay at Lively Beach. One of the biggest attractions was that our fur baby was able to join us. The condo was clean and well stocked with all the necessities for cooking/eating. The property was well manicured and we loved the ability to go from the beach to a pool in a matter of minutes! Sunrise from the beach and sunset from the roof top was the highlights of each day. It does feel like you are very secluded but in fact it is only about 4-7 minute drive from town - there are not food options within walking distance. Our fur baby was provided with some necessary cookies and poo bags from LB. There is a great grassy area to play chuck-it with the pooch and being off season we took full advantage of the open space of the lawn area! Since it was off season, the complex took advantage of having only a few guests and they planted about 20+ new palm trees while we were there - its great to see they are still improving the property - If we ever get back there Ill be interested in seeing how those trees have fared! My one slight complaint was the towels were minimal. When we asked for more they accommodated it but being there 6 days I would have thought we would have been given more than 2 towels, 2 washcloths, and 1 hand towel to begin with. Longer stays will require to you ask for more trash bags, dish soap, paper towels etc. Overall it was a lovely week at Lively Beach!

The rooms are dirty and don t seem to be maintained well at all. They are pet friendly although they don t tell you it is $45 extra a night till you get there (even asked about this when booking). Be aware the mosquitos are almost unbearable so you can t go outside in the mornings or afternoon. Overall very overrated and would rather have booked an Airbnb for the same price.

We had a lovely three night stay at Lively Beach. The fact that it was dog friendly made all the difference, as we were able to take our little pup with us. The accommodations were immaculate and complete with everything you could need. The kitchenware and appliances were modern and appeared brand new. Check in and check out was easy and required no direct contact. We had an initial issue with our door code on arrival, but management corrected it remotely right away. Included: Large screen TV, microwave, stove/oven, dishwasher, full-size refrigerator, heat lamp in the bathroom, comfortable bed, ample storage for such a small space. The grounds were well maintained and extremely quiet. It felt private and far away from the partying of Port A. In fact, the complex is surrounded only by dunes. The pool is spacious and spectacular. There is a boardwalk that leads to the beach that is lit up with lights at night. Walk-time from our unit to the beach was 4 minutes. Our unit was the studio, so it was small and on the first floor, with a view of the parking lot. If you are looking for a room with a view, be sure to check in advance. Very enjoyable stay!

Great location. Good amenities. Love the hoses for washing sand off. Love the walk to the beach. Dont like having to call so many times to get an answer. Left an oreo pack accidentally, slightly, unsealed on our kitchen counter, and we woke up with ants all over everything. They came and sprayed, but theres a massive gap in weatherstripping on the front door where we could see the ants crawling around. They need to fix that properly--spray isnt going to keep the ants out for long.

It was a great place to stay on our mini vacation. The location was great! Close to stores, gas station and food. The Condo was also in a great location right next to the beach.

We had planned to stay 3 days at lively beach , and we got there and enjoyed the first day. The room was decent and had close access to the pool and beach. However our vacation was cut short the second day, the reason being that we were flying a drone to check out the beach and once we finished we brought it back, and when we grabbed it a man on the second floor in a threatening voice told us we better not be recording him, which we werent, and then brandished us with his gun. We had told the staff and they had not done anything about it, they had rather tell us to leave than do something about the matter, so we were pretty much forced to leave as it was a matter of life and death, but were not given a full refund even though we were leaving because they did not act on the security of their own resort. On our way out the guy was mocking us by waving goodbye. Goes without saying our stay at lively beach wasnt a great experience.

Beautiful resort very relaxing. We had a wonderful time. Easy access to the beach. Wonderful BBQ location to cook out - we had a little trouble to start the pit but the office lady Paula was really kind to send someone to show us how to light it. Since it was an grill we never used before. Rooms are clean and very spacious - worth the price. It has everything you need to enjoy a peaceful relaxing get-a-way. Pool is beautiful and very relaxing day and night. Even other guests were delightful and respectful with their music volume. No complaints we will definitely be returning. Thank you Paula and all the staff for making our stay a very enjoyable! If you are looking for a place to retreat from daily life this is your place. Worth every cent.

Room and stay were fine but when opening the fridge the lettering on the brand name broke off and cut my hand open. I called the front desk to let them know because the same could happen to others and they didn t pick up or ever cal us back. Also the same fridge stoped working, we called again and they said they would come look and they never did and never called us back. Won t stay again.

We were celebrating three months of marriage and we were so excited to stay here! However, from the moment we got there, things were not as they were made out to be. The deadbolt on our door did not lock, and the original code we were given did not work either. So then we had to go out of our way to get a different code for the door. Once we entered, we were happy to see how clean and bright it was. However, as the day went on, we realized that we were only given two bath towels for the entirety of our trip (no clean ones were available after using the originals). The sheets and comforter were very thin, and we ended up using the extra blanket to cover the glass doors in order to prevent the bright light getting in at 7 am so that we could possibly sleep longer. When we got up on Saturday, the pool was closed for maintenance, so that was not an option to visit. We also realized that our building was the only one without an ice machine and laundry center. The insulation between units was subpar, as our neighbors above us were walking around until midnight but it sounded like stomping and prevented us from sleeping. Also, Sunday morning, the water pressure was highly lacking and we could barely shower. Overall, we were hoping for a much better experience. Instead, it was severely lacking and hardly the restful vacation we had hoped for. Unfortunately, we will not be back.

I would say this place is nice, but not quite as advertised. First off, this is pretty much all managed remotely, which is fine, but just know there isn t much staff on site to assist. Everyone we did interact with was very nice, aside from the lady present when we checked in. Not what I would describe as welcoming . Second, the impression I got was that this was close to restaurants and maybe even had some on site. Where it is located, you are close, but definitely not walkable due to the highway. Definitely nothing on property. Three, the boardwalk is nice, but don t be under any impression that you could wheel a stroller or ice chest or wagon over. There are 2 flights of stairs up and down and lots of thick sand to get through. Good news is that there is a beach access road right by the resort .. also, there is a beach access road right by the resort so that s where everyone parks and crowds the beach. I kept seeing reviews of seclusion, and this is definitely not secluded. 4) the grills, tables, fire pits, corn hole boards were all nice. 5) they had to close the pool twice while we were there because of sanitary incidents in the pool. When you stay 3 nights here and 2 of those nights they close the pool, it s not great. It s odd because this place didn t have a raging party vibe. Often, we were some of the only people at the pool. I guess those things can happen anywhere, just unfortunate it was 66% of our trip. All in all, the space, furnishings, kitchen, grounds, were all very nice. I just felt the need to set the record straight on what you are getting in this resort.

We found lively beach on google researching places to vacation at. This place is fairly new and SO BEAUTIFUL. We loved that it was gated and well lit at night so we had fun strolling the outside with our kiddos. Our room had a full kitchen and comfortable king bed, the bathroom was spacious and everything was very clean and new. We would have loved a better view of the beach but appreciated that the sky deck on the roof offered the view instead. This place also has gas grills so we for sure will be bringing some fajitas for our next stay! Definitely try the amazing pool here, it is body temperature and perfect for a night swim (huge opportunity is if they added a night for a movie projector to do a swim & view ). They offer a golf cart rental service so you can drive the cart down to the beach, but honestly the walk isn t bad through the boardwalk on the property, just know the sand dunes are a bit of an incline down. We also loved that they had an ice machine and washing machines for our clothing. I did dock one star as we had issues getting in touch with the property due to having an ant infestation in our unit. Ants came in from under the crown molding and got all over our clothing/luggage, our shoes and sandals. When we called the property they said they would send someone out the next day but we never heard back from them & were not told if they even did anything to stop the problem. However, we did notice the ants stopped coming in, but communication would have been nice. Other than that, this is a place we have decided to add to our returning to list! It is absolutely gorgeous and a must for people with families! Thank you for having us and we can t wait to be back!

The resort wasnt to shabby . They need a dumpster for trash . And God forbid you need to rent a golf cart . Tried for 4 days to rent a golf cart and couldnt ever get ahold of their third party vendor to rent one . The manager of the place tried also and she couldnt even get ahold of anybody !!!! She was suppose to get back to me as soon as she heard something and I have to assume she never heard back

Absolutely love Lively Beach, my boyfriend & I have made it a yearly trip for the summer & have had no major complaints in 2 years. We love the rooms, cleanliness, atmosphere, & amenities. Our only feedback is the gas grills, we use them every stay & they give us some trouble starting & if you don t have a long lighter on hand you won t be getting more then one side of the burner started- always a laugh trying to help other guest get them going though!
