Place like always is clean and quiet. Construction removed exsit heading north so be prepared to exsit before the original spot.

It was nice but not what we expected. Water didnt look clean was hoping our dog could swim there. Clean park plenty of picnic tables. Dog-friendliness: Plenty of room to run but watch out for sand burrs.

Nice place to park and eat and BBQ they have new tables and new bbq pits but Construction on the bridge is a little pain but you can make your way around it Dog-friendliness: Can walk your dogs lots of space Picnic area: New picnic tables also have wheel chairs assembled

Great improvement made with covered tables . A great place to relax. Toilets: Portapotty Dog-friendliness: Bring your dog on a leash. Dont forget water for your pooch. Picnic area: Covered picnic tables you are able to see the water from.

Nice area, unable to really be close to water grass was high, made it difficult for our little ones to fish. Only a porter potty not good kids. Picnic area: The table and little gazebo was great. Full of left over fishing scraps but was okay.

Beautiful park! Minimal road noise. Right on the river snd you could sit and watch the fish jump for hours! Was able to get a permit with just a phone call. Romy at the parks and recreation was extremely helpful. We had our permit within minutes! Highly recommend this park! Toilets: Portapotty available but we did not use them.

Park is always a blast and well kept. River was up pretty good compared to the last time I was here. The only thing that bummed me out was the fish werent hitting on the Saturday that we went out. Last time they wouldnt stop bitting and we caught at least a ice chest full. We didnt keep any just catch and release. I would definitely recommend this park for any wanting to hang out during the day. Im not sure about camping. There is some road construction going on right now right next to the park. Bonus part is you are 17 minutes from Corpus Christi if you decide to pack up and hit the beach.

Was a super chill spot to fish. My friend took me here on our way back from corpus and we setup our canopy and fished for about 5 hrs. Scenery and the lake running through was beautiful and the fish were jumping everywhere.

Plenty of fishing fun, just not catching lately. The cleanliness of the park is why I rated 3 star. Of course, theres tons of construction work around, so plenty of noise, much like most areas now. Theres much landscaping that needs to be done, too many weeds, making it difficult for true fishing fun. In my opinion, theres some improvement that could be done.

Stayed at the park for the weekend to camp out. It was good out there. Not alot of people. Only concern was the chiggers and fleas later in the evening and early morning. Got bit all over and bug spray didnt help at all. Wish the park would of been sprayed down. It was an infestation of them. Taking care of the all the bites with creams to sooth the itch.

We love this nice quiet park for a quick stop over in our RV for the night. With a permit you are allowed to stay 3 nights! A permit can be acquired by emailing the city of Corpus Christi. No hookups but nice big beautiful spots.

Theres bathroom but they are disgusting never get cleaned I dont think. Porta pottis...it is so nasty. You dont even wanna squat over the seat just avoid this all together. The rest of the park IS nice need a permit here. You can get it at H.E.B.

Nice park they try and keep it clean along with the porta potty s. But it seems to be the people that come out to fish mostly that are not respecting the campgrounds,leaving trash and messing up the bathrooms. Then the bathrooms are cleaned and restocked with toilet paper every few days. Everytime we notice they restock the toilet paper the next morning all 3 porta potty s are emptied of toilet paper. Crazy and one night it happened we were the only overnight campers here. Their were like 3 or 4 people fishing. Its a shame they dont respect the area where they are from. Other then that beautiful park
