Beautiful experience. Im glad the family made this for the fans! And werent greedy like every other celebrity that take advantage of the fans. This was intimate and just emotional Ive been a fan of Selena for years, and this was in the bucket list for my mom. She was a huge fan. We both walked in and got teary eye. And we were fortunate enough to see Selena dad from afar. Overall, we were crying and happy that just for a little bit, we felt close to Selena. Thank you again for this God bless Selena and all her family she is everyones angel

It was a fluke that they were open on a Saturday but it was labor day weekend and we were very disappointed we came to Corpus and missed the Selena Museum. I called just to be sure and we were glad they answered the phone and said come on, we are open. They were very nice and friendly, it was very cool to see Abraham there and he seemed happy to see so many people that love his daughter and their music. They came from nothing worked hard for all they have which really showed. They really have created an awesome place for the fans to visit and the giftshop was very cool also. We get to check this one off the bucket list and big thanks to the family for sharing everything with the fans. We really do appreciate everything.

Everything is very beautiful indeed, it is my Idol since childhood. I grew up always listening to his songs. His monument was very beautiful near the Quay of the city of Corpus Cristhi. Visited the Selena Museum on August 30, 2024. I enjoy the tour and all of memorabilia from Selena concerts. It took me back to my teen years when I would attend her concerts in Houston. My family and I got to meet Mr. QUINTANILLA Sr and take pictures. He was very laid back and talked with some jokes.

Its a small museum for such a great talent, but for a fan, the opportunity to be there is invaluable. We also met Don Abraham, whom we thanked for sharing the success of his children with us. The only thing I would suggest is to improve the quality of the souvenir shop products both in material and design.

The museum is small, but complete. When you enter, you access her studio. Which was something non of us expected. You later enter a display room. All of her outfits are complete from head to toe including a picture of her in them. Her outfit sketches are on the wall, as well as discs and magazines she was pictured in. They have an egg collection she use to have. Her car is also in the museum with the original stickers and LP! Truly fascinating I am giving it four stars for two reasons. It isn t open on weekends, which the majority of tourists come in on weekends. The hours are also short so you have to squeeze it into your schedule. They also don t permit videos, which I respect but quite frankly don t understand.

First-time visit to Selena Museum if youve never been, this is a Must. You wont be disappointed. We had a tour guide who explained Selenas legacy well, and we enjoyed hearing his perspective on Selenas aspirations. You see pictures of her youth and her budding singing career. Its bittersweet to see her beautiful clothing designs and her makeup laid out. You can tell she was nothing but Light; even in her fotos y recuerdos, she radiates so much happiness and love for life. Visit the boutique for cool gear. *The tour guide isnt long, but you get to take as long as you want to view her memorabilia. *The parking lot is tiny, but if youre patient, people always leave in 15-20-minute increments. Be careful if you park elsewhere and cross the street. Ive seen drivers not slowing down for visitors.

I loved it The entrance fee is $5 dollars per person. The Tour is completely in English, they explain what the museum is, what Selena did there, how old the establishment has been, after the booth you go to the area where you can take photos without flash and they do not allow videos, It is there where you can see everything carefully and at your own pace, no one pressures you to walk or advance. In the museum you can find * awards * sketches of her costumes * convertible car * paintings or portraits that were made of him * instruments of that time * your microphone * the phone you used * your jewelry and accessories * The complete wardrobe with photos of their presentations. There is also the sales area where you can get posters, t-shirts, sweaters, key chains, CDs, DVDs, and hats. A good experience and in the outside area are the trucks where they traveled to their presentations. There is good free parking. There is a little lack of space or they dont let so many people enter the reception area since there are many people gathered and the heat is very high. My 4 are because I wanted to take a panoramic photo and they told me I couldnt do it since they could take me because they think what Im doing is a video. To which I asked myself why cant it be recorded? Yes, its the same as taking photos of absolutely everything like I did, but anyway, its something I wanted to do and I dont regret it. Excellent experience.

The Selena Museum was a neat place to display Selena s most memorable outfits and awards! This was the first place we visited on a Friday during a 3-day trip to Corpus since the museum is not open Sat or Sun. The displays were amazing. I was a bit bummed there were very few descriptions of the memorabilia, though. There was also very little about those who were important in her life. The cost of entering correlates to the experience, imo. You probably will not spend more than 40 min to an hour here. It was quite crowded as they allowed multiple groups of people into the small gallery before the previous group was even done looking. FYI parking is free but limited, the parking lot is small and you may have to parallel park or leave the lot to park.

Wonderful Experience it s like traveling back in time. Upon arriving you think it will be an exciting and joyful atmosphere full of memories which maybe the case for most who travel from out of town. However upon entering the building quickly you sense the sadness in the air and as you are taken to each section in the museum. While viewing Selena s outfits her dad crosses the room without a word and I understood that while we go in to view and enjoy the artifacts her family is reminded of her tragic ending day in and day out. They are overshadowed by the tragedy. I pray her father and family find peace that comes from The Lord. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. John 14:27

I took my son here not too long ago and Im not surprised at how small it is. Since she passed so young, rip, she didnt get to fully blossom and have the extended career other artists have had. Even if its lacking on memorabilia or the quality of the gift shop items look like it came from Temu, it still is needed so the family can keep getting paid. Ab wont be welcomed back to San Antonio with paid gigs for a bit (as an Eagles fan thanks for being up the Cowboys lol) so Im sure he has to keep up with his child support somehow. What else can the sister do? The dad couldnt make his own singing career happen but they know the fans will keep lining their pockets. Yet the one star from me is because the entitled, rude mannerisms and arrogant attitude is unnecessary. They did a great job training their staff to mirror their own behavior. Gotta give them that one.

I dont understand how a star with such international projection only opens the museum from Monday to Friday, and those of us who work? When can we visit?

There is some great items there and they claim they are all original pieces and you get to see places where Selina recorded and the parts of the movie was filmed . Parking however is TERRIBLE.
