Just experienced Bellinos recently and I have to say, I wish I would have discovered it sooner. The food was delicious and so different from your typical Italian restaurants. It was very authentic and unique. The staff were all so friendly and accommodating. They made my entire party feel special and valued. I highly recommend Bellinos.

Our server was so attentive without hovering. We had the calamari as an appetizer. The breading was flavorful and the calamari so tender. Th chicken in gorganzola sauce was perfection. Highly recommend especially for a special occasion.

If you are looking for authentic Italian food in Corpus then Bellino is the place for you! You know the people in the kitchen know what they are doing if your general spaghetti & meatballs are to die for. I also really appreciated that they teach their employees how to say the menu items in proper Italian. The staff is very friendly and the ambience is perfect for a date night.

Had a quick trip to Corpus Christi and wanted some Italian food before I left - Google hit the nail on the head with this one! The gorgonzola sauce was tasty and the chicken breast was so tender - I normally have leftovers, but all semblance of self-control went out the window it was that good The chocolate mousse for dessert was delicious and server Margo was sweet and attentive the entire time. I hope I get to come back next time I m in town!

My experience , we went around around 2:00 and able to get lunch hour prices. Thankful for that. First impression walking in was beautiful, and looked like a fine dining restaurant. Our dishes were ordered were good but definitely not great. To start we ordered the calamari, calamari season and texture was good, but there was an after taste of old it being fried in old oil. The flavors were there but meatball consistency was a little soft for my liking. Pasta was more than Alden te, our meal did not come with a salad or bread. I did ask for bread after we started eating and I have to say, I instantly regretted asking. Bread tasted old, and stale. brushed lightly with butter and toasted would have tied our food together for a better experience. It definitely has potential to be an awesome restaurant, just a couple of easy changes that doesn t cost a penny other than a little more TLC . Waitress knew her job and was great at recommending menu items. Very friendly!

Really lovely restaurant BUT we were really disappointed in the service. Kimberly was kind but not attentive. Our wine and water were never refilled during our stay, she had another employee come take our dessert order and never gave us a wine bag to take home the rest of our bottle. The bread was dry and old - thankfully, we weren t charged for it. Overall, the service felt turn and burn despite this being our special date night that we spent a lot and had hoped would be a grand experience for what we paid. Very disappointing.

I know how to cook Sicilian Italian food.. this was not even close.. The waitstaff was wonderful...my sauce did not taste like it was cooked for 8 hours. I like al dente pasta but this was undercooked and very chewy. The 2 people who had lasagna said it was ok. 1 had the aoli on pasta which was good. Cant mess up garlic and butter too much. 2 people had the chicken parm. So-so.

We ordered the ravioli special on Wednesday. Came out later than everyone elses since the chef was still working on what the special specifically entailed. It ended up being cheese stuffed ravioli with asparagus and shrimp, smothered in a parmesan based sauce. The issue: There was little to nothing inside of the ravioli. If there was anything inside of the ravioli, we couldnt tell. They were flat pieces of square like pasta underneath everything else. Unsure if this was some unique, relatively unknown form of ravioli, I asked our waiter about it. He spoke with chef and told us that 1.) It was a Sicilian style of ravioli and 2.) Theres a general misconception around what ravioli actually is due to the popularity of Chef Boyardees canned ravioli. Its not difficult to google pictures and definitions of ravioli, and more specifically Sicilian style ravioli and see small pasta envelopes that are very clearly filled with meat, cheese, or pasta, which is exactly what we didnt receive. The atmosphere is the best aspect of this restaurant, barring the house / electronic music. The service is good, but the food overall is okay for Italian based fare.

Was very impressed with the food, I spent plenty of time in Italy as a youth, and this is as authentic as it gets here in US. The server was great and timely, very personable, and accommodating. Next time I will dress in more appropriate atire instead of jean shorts and shirt.

Had a good experience here overall. The service was great and the staff super friendly. The atmosphere is okay, some of the tables are a bit small and/or too close together but it s not a big deal. The food was good but could ve been better. Still, I recommend and hope to visit again in the near future. Vegetarian options: Can ask staff to accommodate vegetarian needs. Dietary restrictions: Certain dietary restrictions can be accommodated. Parking: There should be more than enough parking in front of the restaurant. The lot is shared by different businesses, so spots may be hard to find during busier times but shouldn t be a big problem. Kid-friendliness: This place is good for kids. Wheelchair accessibility: There s access for wheelchairs.

Where to start? They served yellow lettuce for my salad. Pasta noodles were chewy and stuck to our teeth. Not to mention the atmosphere was bad. A table next to us with about 15 people were inconsiderate of others trying to enjoy a NICE QUIET lunch. Very loud and obnoxious.

The food, the experience, the service were perfect. You can taste the difference between a random pasta and the fresh pasta from Bellino. Its a little expensive, we just had one plate of food each and it costs around $130 in total but it was totally worth it. All of the waiters were extremely nice to us and they were interested in making us feel heard. 20/10 we are totally coming again! Parking: It has a lot of space to park

Went to corpus to enjoy a mini vacation with my partner and we stopped here for dinner and, it was so delicious, the staff was super friendly and even something that wasnt on the menu for that day was specially made for my partner. They accommodated his craving and the fact that they did that just made our first day there awesome. Food was delicious homemade sauce and all. Drinks were delicious and even the desert. We will definitely be going back next time we visit corpus.

As we walked in we were greeted immediately by staff and shown to our table, which we reserved prior. The atmosphere in this little restaurant was rustic Italian, but at the same time modern and intimate. Our drink order and entrees arrived in perfect time and the only complaint I have was that the calamari were overcooked in oil, and I believe they were probably frozen, thus overpriced. We also order the goat cheese balls, which were excellent, by the portion size did not meet the price. The pasta though was fresh and excellent, and the portion size was perfect. My son and I ordered the Pasta Francesco, which is feducini in a cheese blend sauce, and we ordered it with shrimp. The pasta was excellent (a lot to say because I lived in Italy for over 9 years), and the shrimp was fresh, not frozen. My wife ordered the seafood pasta. She allowed me to taste it and it was delicious and fresh as well. We ended our dinner with tiramisu, which was delicious as well. It is important to note that I would have given the food five stars if it wasnt for the calamari. Great place to enjoy a special night out to dinner.

I am deeply disappointed to share my recent experience at the Italian restaurant we visited for my wifes birthday. The pasta was undercooked, the wine was warm, and despite the good reviews, it was, by far, the worst Italian food we have ever tasted. The service was equally disappointing as the server completely ignored us throughout the entire meal. Not only did we feel utterly disregarded, but we also sensed discrimination from the staff. The way the server interacted with other tables and continuously overlooked ours made us feel unwelcome and unwanted in the restaurant. This unfortunate experience not only ruined what was supposed to be a celebratory occasion for my wife but forced us to leave and find another place to dine.

One of the best Italian meals we have ever had. There were 4 of us and we all had something different, each one AMAZING! We decided that the Spaghetti alla Fransesco was at the top (creamy with the best homemade pasta) followed by Polpette di Mamma Lina with spaghetti. The Petralia Pizza was exactly what you would expect from this place.... perfect crust, just the right amount of sauce and Italian meat and cheese. My Vegan friend wasnt left out, her veggie dish was so full of flavor! Of course we were beyond full, but we had to try the Tiramisu and the Chocolate Mousse, they didnt disappoint . Our server was so knowledgeable and really delightful... wish I could recall his name! We cant wait to travel back to Corpus Christi and dine there again. Thanks for such a great time!

Smaller portion entrees but superb quality. We really were indifferent with the service as many of the wait staff seek out upsells. Bellino s will charge you for mediocre bread with olive oil and to split a salad for two. We wouldn t have minded this as much if this was prefaced to customers. Our dinner was wonderful! Highly recommend!! Our appetizers - the Burrata and Polp di Mamma Lina - were delicious. The Tuesday special Lasagna, Spaghetti Francesco and Petralia (pizza) were all amazing. The Tiramisu was excellent but the Crostata di Nutella was TO DIE FOR!!! Our server Isaac was great. Very nice Italian restaurant in Corpus Christi. I loved the atmosphere, super clean, modern, unlike a lot of other places that smell like old rug. Bad Service and just mediocre food. My girlfriend and I went in to the place empty with probably four servers. Only one other person in the establishment. We were rarely checked in on to the point where I had to physically get up to find someone to help us. Finally, an odd thing was the placement of aesthetic pipes right above us on the wall, when you try to stand up regularly they are directly above your head. My girlfriend hit it and it left a good bruise, we told the servers and they shrugged it off. Please avoid. A pizza made at home is better than theirs.

Vibrant upbeat Italian restaurant with options for those that don t eat pasta. They do have gluten free pasta and some vegetarian options. Great drink selection and we had a great time with our bartenders Nick and Tiffany who made sure we were happy with our drinks. I had the filet mignon and Angela Amora had the chicken Marsala, both were excellent. The chicken Marsala was very moist and delicious. Definitely worth a visit and don t be scared if you re gluten or dairy free they will accommodate you.

I was very disappointed last time I went to Bellino.I have always enjoyed taking my family to dine at this restaurant. Last time I was there Im not sure if they have a new chef but the food was not even close to my prior my experiences, but worst of it was when I ask for my bill. If I wanted to pay with a card I was going to get charge an extra $8 for me to use my card to pay. Anyone who has eaten in Bellino know this place is not cheap and I dont mind to pay for good food and service, but please an additional charge to pay with a card that to me is unbelievable for a place like Bellino. Include the charge in the price of the food if you have to. Charging the customer to use a card to pay in a place like Bellino is just tacky.

This place was AMAZING! The service was fantastic, the prices werent too bad, and the food... Absolutely out of this world. My group started with a deep fried calamari appetizer. I had just been telling my friends how you could tell good calamari from bad by how tender it is. Sure enough, the most tender fried calamari Ive ever had, and the Italian seasoning was a nice touch. Next up we had them bring us some of their fresh made bread (delicious!) After that, for the main course we ordered a variety of things. I couldnt decide between their fresh made house pasta with their take on alfredo, or the peppercorn filet, so I got the filet and a side of their pasta. Boy, was this food spectacular! The filet was tender, and the sauce over the top was a perfect addition. Never had full peppercorns on a steak before, but they were quite nice, and not crunchy, but soft and flavorful. The vegetables included with the dish were wonderful and fresh. Their house pasta is absolutely the best Ive ever had. Fresh made noodles and their house made sauce really knock it out of the park. We said so many compliments to our server, Nikki, that she brought chef Phoebe out so we could complent her directly. She gave us some background on their dishes and let us know that almost everything in the restaurant is made from scratch, fresh, with locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. They really put care and attention into each dish, and it shines through with wonderful flavor and presentation. I was here traveling for work. I would come back to Texas just to eat here again. Ive been forever ruined for Italian food, nothing else will ever compare. Parking: Huge shopping center lot with plenty of space.

What a wonderful surprise!! I was impressed with the food, the service, and the overall ambiance of Bellinos . Walking up to the restaurant , located in a shopping center, and seeing the location set my expectations low. I could not have been more incorrect. Once we opened the door we saw the charm and friendly greeting and atmosphere inside Bellino. My linguini pescatore was perfect with the linguine al dente! I got to taste our guest s bolognese and it was wonderful. My wife asked for and the chef prepared a pasta dish with garlic and capers that was perfect. For dessert the tiramisu was my favorite with just the right amount and balance of cream and alcohol flavoring. Nikki, our waitress , was pleasant, knowledgable, engaging but not an over talker, and humorous! She truly made our evening a delight and unforgettable. An example was with 4 of us at the table, when she severed the dessert expresso martini, and I saw it decorated with 3 coffee beans, I jokingly said we needed 4 beans for our table. She laughed and went on to serve another table. A short time later she returned to our table and with a big smile on her facing and in her hand a small container with a dozen or so of coffee beans, saying to me in a fun way these are special for you ! Nikki I wish you the best in your career and can see you as a future successful restaurateur! See you again on our next trip to Corpus.

Eating at Bellino is like a cozy dinner at your best friend s house, except your best friend is a top notch Italian chef. Everything is home made and you can taste the freshness in every bite. From the olive oil and bread, to the burrata on the pinsa, to the special order butter sage sauce we asked for with our gnocchi - this was one of those meals that slows down time. Our waitress Nikki brought smiles and good laughs the whole night and even brought Chef Phoebe out to meet us. Chef is clearly passionate about her craft and leading a top notch kitchen. This is some serious quality Italian here in Corpus and the whole vibe, music, and genuinely happy staff leave you joy FULL I ll be back soon!

Chef Phoebe and our waitress Nicki were awesome! I travel a lot for work and am always on the look out for homemade Italian food what luck to find the best homemade pasta in Corpus Christi where I visit my parents. Ambience was perfect for a special family dinner, cocktails delicious (loved my aviation) and amazing food. Pasta was to die for and I will be thinking about it when I return home. Truly can t wait for my next meal here! Compliments to the chef and the staff! This place was a beautiful find. We felt welcomed even though we thought we were under dressed. The ambiance was amazing. Our waitress was top notch , very attentive, we came in at a weird time around three o clock on a Saturday, it ended up being perfect timing. We started with a cocktail, my husband thought he would try an old fashioned, I told him how I used to make it with the cherry and orange , bitters and SS, but the restaurant has evolved and it was a new recipe, he could not drink it due to the strong nature so we had it remade to the OG old fashioned. We loved our pastas! We loved all the options on the menu. We had the pesto and the bolognese pasta and they tasted great! I had chicken added to my pesto pasta which was a little over cooked. There weren t a lot of dessert options which is sad because we would ve totally gotten a dessert if there was something like an ice cream coupe. I do think it s a pretty expensive restaurant. We didn t order drinks, had two pastas and we had water. We came out to 50 dollars. They had a man restroom and this one.. Stopped here for dinner on a Thursday afternoon. The daily special was farm-to-table . Service was great. As an appetizer I tried the assorted marinated olives. For the main course I ordered the Spaghetti alla Francesco. Spaghetti in a creamy mascarpone, parmesan cheese and Gorgonzola sauce with a pinch of garlic. I am not a fan of Alfredo sauce, but loved this. Came with bread and olive oil dip. For dessert I got the Crosta Di Nutella. Everything was delicious. Definitely on my repeat list.

This afternoon we tried out this quiet, quaint restaurant. The staff was so friendly, and pleasant. And the food... my God the food was AMAZING! We started with tomato-basil soup, then David had a chicken/spaghetti dish, and I had salmon with potatoes and wilted spinach. It was the best salmon, Ive ever had. I debated with myself on whether I should post this but decided to post. Thought we would give this place another try and we were very disappointed with the food. My wife ordered the lunch Rigatoni, an Italian margarita mixed drink which was way too expensive and I ordered meatballs and spaghetti. The Rigatoni tasted like moist grainy flour with no flavor whatsoever. My wife could not eat it. My spaghetti had what was to be marinara sauce but looked more orange in color than traditional red marinara color, and it did not taste like marinara. I at least ate the meatballs. The bread was not fresh, tasted like dry day old bread. So we had a bust on both of our dishes and we were very disappointed. Please note that we could have, but didnt mentioned our disappointment to our server because we didnt want to wait again for our meal nor did we want to come across as just wanting something for free.

After reading all the great reviews I sadly I did not find this restaurant to be anything but poor as far as the food is concerned. The burrata was slightly curdled in the middle, better prosciutto can be found at HEB, the salad, while had fresh greens was over seasoned with dressing, the bread was stale and the pasta was so overcooked that after every single bite I needed to pull the pasta off my teeth so my date would be staring a gobs of dough between my teeth. I ended up only eating 4-5 bites. After all that teeth sucking I just claimed to be so full from a late lunch not to embarrass my date. The ambiance is nice though loud and the tables for 2 a bit small. If you are looking for real Italian dont come here. Our bill was $127 before tip and it was the worst money Ive ever spent on a meal in recent memory. The staff was very kind and everyone said hello and was attentive but that cant make up for not an inexpensive poor executed meal. Beware just because they make their own pasta doesnt mean its good. We both had pasta so I can remark on the meat dishes. But, both of our pastas were overcooked and doughy to the point of inedible. Sorry for the poor review- I was really hoping to have an great experience.

We are traveling for work and tried to come to your restaurant for dinner last night (Monday 9-12-22). There were 2 of us, we came in and noticed your 4% Customer service upcharge posted. That should have been a sign for us that this was not where we wanted to spend our money. But we stayed and were seated...there was only one other couple in the restaurant. We began looking over the menu and after nearly 10 minutes, no one had even asked us about drinks. The waitress came out and spoke to the other couple about their order... but did not speak to us. After a few more minutes, we got up to leave. The lady behind the bar told us thank you for coming....nice except we left hungry. We found another Italian place and had a great dinner someplace else. Yall were recommended by the people we were training with, very disappointed and we wont be back.
