We recently choose this restaurant for lunch. Before deciding to visit, we took some time to discuss our options, as we had already been to nearly every other Indian restaurant in the area but hadn t tried this one yet. Upon our visit, we chose a six-seater table and to get a sense of their specials we asked to bring us their best vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. After a while, our order was served at the table with RR Special Chicken Biryani, Gobi Manchurian Biryani and crispy corn. The biryani was way too spicy, making it difficult to enjoy. It didn t feel worth the price we paid, as both the taste and quality left much far from pleasant. My friends and I experienced an unfortunate aftermath. We dined two days ago, and since then, all of us have been dealing with diarrhea. Overall, it felt like a waste of time and money, and I wouldn t recommend this restaurant based on our experience.

We bought snacks today the qusllry of masala worst ever had in my life , they used old flour and smells like fungus , this restaurant was very nice earlier even though pricy . This is response to restaurant reply : Hello , please find the transaction details attached , I don t have need to put fake review , I drove 8.5 miles to came your restaurant and regular customer, when I was asked masala vada they gave this one if you don t have masala vada your staff must said don t have . Why don t accept the honest review and correct next time I m not saying all food just this one caused stomach upset

Yesterday I have placed a catering order at peacock. I have ordered chicken maskali biryani full tray, Gobi talvi biryani half tray, chicken 555 full tray, and gobi 555 half tray. I have picked my order around 6:50pm and reached home in 50 mins and we have placed all the food in the oven. Appetizer were good, both biryani s had an unpleasant smell when we tried to serve them, This made us very disappointed among the guests

It s very disappointing to share this incident happened with us yesterday. We got biryani yesterday with clear instructions of asking for less spicy. My kid was not able have it because Yesterday biryani s were very very hot spicy n called restaurant to tell about it, the receptionist didn t acknowledge what we were trying tell. We called twice n reported the same but she was saying the same. We were regularly getting biryani from Peacock. From now onwards peacock restaurant is a big no. Even star one is also not required for this kind of food n staff response.

This place has one of the best and the most authentic Apollo fish. I always try this dish in every restaurant I go, and this was only the second place in the US that got it right. First was Tamarind indian cuisine in Sterling, VA. This place has good Mandis too. The staff are very friendly and the place offers real dine in experience, not like any other random Indian restaurants in DFW these days where you cant really have that dine in experience.

Have ordered to-go from this restaurant several times and have always been satisfied with the flavors of the food and the promptness of the order being ready for pickup. The biryani is not an authentic dum biryani but their version is pretty good. I continue to order from them. Their gravies and curries are good too. The restaurant has a bar and the interiors look quite nice. Plenty of parking is available. Pricing : Moderate Will I return? : Absolutely!

I recently visited Peacock and had a very disappointing experience. The food was terrible, and the meat was not even cooked properly. It was undercooked and practically inedible. To make matters worse, the salt containers on the table were rusty, which is completely unacceptable for any restaurant. Overall, I would not recommend dining here. There are much better options available in the area.

This is one of my favorite places!! When you first go in, youll notice how clean the inside is and how welcoming the staff are. Crispy corn, konasema fish fry, Gongora fry piece chicken, Military mutton cry, Tangdi biryani and the fry pieces biryani are among our favorites. The cuisine is of extremely high quality. Depending on appetite, a portion can feed two or even three people. I appreciated the authentic Indian cuisine with just the appropriate amount of spicy. Everything was hot and fresh when it served. Highly recommended. Must try is Tangdi biryani !! Just loved it !!

What a waste of time, please don t open the doors to business if you want people to wait 40 minutes for a simple food order or lie to them. Asked for a refund and guess what, obviously it will take time because the bank needs processing time. Terrible customer service. They should be ashamed that is very disgusting, it definitely got me thinking about all the 1000 s of times I ve eaten there. Update: they were very kind on handling the situation, they refunded me and offered to deliver me some more food. Unfortunately I declined the food I mean why would I eat there again. Thanks for the quick response and handling the situation with such kindness.

JUICY MUTTON MANDI REVIEW ========================== This mandi has potential, and if they get a few things right it might even be right up there with its competitors. Positives ======== The mutton was excellent and the gravy was also on par with the meat. Opportunities ============ The quantity of rice is not enough. We ordered a 4 people mandi and it will hardly satiate 3 people. The flavor of the rice is still leaning more towards biryani or pulao rice rather than mandi rice. PLEASE DONT USE CURRY LEAVES IN MANDI IT JUST SPOILS THE FEEL. I will try it again in a few weeks but if there is no improvement, I will try to continue this thread accordingly.

A Culinary Delight in a Banana Leaf, Peacock Restaurant I recently had the pleasure of dining at Peacock Restaurant, and I must say, it was a memorable experience. Located in Coppell Dallas, this restaurant offers a unique twist on traditional South Indian cuisine, serving its dishes in authentic banana leaves. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the Ambur Biryani. The moment it arrived at the table, I was greeted by the rich aroma of spices that immediately whetted my appetite. The biryani was flavorful, aromatic, and had the perfect blend of spices. The tender pieces of meat, were cooked to perfection and paired wonderfully with the fragrant chitti muthyala rice. Serving the biryani in a banana leaf added a rustic charm to the experience. It not only looked visually appealing but also enhanced the overall taste. The traditional presentation made me appreciate the cultural significance of this dish even more. The restaurants ambiance was cozy and welcoming, making it an ideal spot for a family dinner or a casual gathering with friends. The staff was courteous and attentive, ensuring that we had a pleasant dining experience. Peacock Restaurant offers a delightful culinary journey, with its Ambur Biryani served in banana leaves stealing the show. If youre a fan of South Indian cuisine and appreciate unique dining experiences, this restaurant is worth a visit. Just remember to arrive hungry, as the biryani is a true feast for the senses.

Reason of single star is because the place is infested with rats. I have seen rats walking on pipes above on the ceiling.

Their Veggie Hakka Noodles contains Egg & Chicken. Hats off to the chef and the management. My kid who have egg allergy, luckily he saw it right before he took a bite. I was so close to suing the management. He was hungry and I had to keep him on the table waiting and rush to exchange the order. This is the 3rd consecutive time they messed up my order. I can clearly see their future how close to shutting down their business.

Their food is very bad and too spicy. Also without asking they keep water bottles on the table and charge you for it. No other restaurant does that, completely unethical.

We had veg paneer biyani, hakka noodles and veg Manchurian . The food was food though, biryani was super spicy. We asked them to keep it very mild, but they ended it up making spicy. I would recommend all the Indian veg food run hy Andhra cuisine to not make it spicy. Everybody cannot handle it .

I got paneer biryani here and their version of biryani is to make paneer curry and mix it with flavored rice. The quality of food has become below par and not worth the price. They provided us water bottles without asking and charged us 50c each without disclosing. There are other Indian restaurants with better quality of food and service.

The experience was never that good. Vijaywada boneless chicken biryani is the only good part about this restaurant. If you ask the waiter what starter is good he will say chicken majestic. Thats a really stupid starter imho. They also charge 10$ BYOB fees per person, while they do not write it in the poster. This is just a good cloud kitchen to order mutton biryani and vijaywada chicken.
