70s party and I won best dressed! we even had a soul train line going Uptown 78 is always a good time. Great energy and good drinks. Theres even karaoke on Thursdays and an open mic event called Poetry in Motion every second Wednesday.

It seems like the powers that be arent trying to draw in patrons...I think the bar is running itself without any thought. I hope the owners step it up. Id hate to see it be the next thing on the strip that gets replaced.

Had a blast with my girls last night at the boots and blazer party hosted by a close friend Toy( aka Toy Box Ent) she did her big one.. Shout out to Uptown, the place was a vibe. As long as Toy is hosting there, you ll see me.. Those who want to chill and vibe check it out! The DJ did his big one also!

My experience at Uptown 78 Lounge was on Saturday night. I love the layout of the entertainment sections. The pool table is in a separate room from the music and dancing. The bartenders were great. The beverages were reasonably priced. My only dislike was the music played by the DJ. . He couldnt read the room. The crowd was older adults and he was playing profanity laced rap. We chose to leave due to the music. And others left as well.

Service at the bar was good and quick! We did attend the New Years Eve celebration and it was fun but the tables were so close together, it was very hard to move between tables. Would have been better if we were not so stacked together in the lounge.

I like this place overall but please please please fire the DJ from tonight 10/7/2023. He really thought he was working for himself and playing what he liked. Experimenting with tooooo many beats which I get time to time but sir no one wants to hear Neyo to techno! Sometimes we want to hear the originals. It happened for 5 or 6 straight songs in a row and I left. If it was up to my brother we would ve been left.

I had the best experience @this place I had my husband birthday party here @uptown 78 and it was amazing the I rented a spot , the price ,the place, the manager, the staff are very nice if I have to do it over again in the future to throw a party I will have it @uptown 78 my husband, friends and family was very pleased.. thank you so much I recommend this place for anyone who would have a party..

Nice place older crowd and my husband and I have visited 4 times already. The bartenders are really sweet and courteous this is our date night spot now the only thing I would change about this place is that the young people need to stay out 25 and up and the reason is because them young folks seem to start trouble and they just dont mix with an older crowd.

Fun club, much bigger inside than it looks on the outside. The Thursday Karaoke DJ was great. Mixed ages and races of customers, so its a fun place. Very friendly, clean and safe. The drinks were good and two large solo cup sized mixed drinks plus one very large beer was only $12,- total!!! Casual dress, everyone welcome. Cant wait to go back, l had a great time.
