I am from New Orleans & I came out here for the Hurricane. I am just leaving this location, I purchased a half of pound of shrimp from THIS LOCATION, the shrimp was spoiled and bad!! I called the store spoke with the manager & told him what was going on & HE STATED THAT IN ORDER FOR ME TO GET A REFUND , he would need to wash the shrimp off & smell it. OTHERWISE I WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO GET A REFUND! I explained to him that I will be going back to LA in the am & wont come all the way to the store just for HIM TO SMELL IT when it shouldn t have been sold in the first place! This is by far the worst customer service I have ever dealt with! Never again

We decided to try someplace new and The Catch did not disappoint. I had The Big Easy and it was so good. I got it with blackened catfish and blackened shrimp. The green beans were fresh and cooked perfectly, not mush but not still raw. The seasoning on them was really good too. Hubby got the Captain s Combo. He said it was really good too. He got it with fried catfish and shrimp. The breading on the catfish was cornmeal and cooked so a crisp crust but the catfish was perfectly cooked on the inside. The hush puppies have a hint of sweet and were crispy on the outside and completely cooked in the inside, but not dry. And the food wasn t enough of a draw to come back again (it is!!!), the offer complimentary beer and margaritas. We would come back without the complimentaries but that s just the icing on the cake! There were many families there with no alcohol so the food is the real draw. $46.41 for both of us with a tip.

Wow. Stopped here on a whim to try something new and was blown away by the food! Fried catfish breading is light and crispy cornmeal, absolutely perfection. The tartar sauce was just the perfect zappiness and the fried shrimp were a delight. Boudin Balls were delicious. To top it off, complimentary beer and margaritas with refills as desired. Wifeypoo even said the food was good enough to come back without the free margaritas. WOWZERS! 1,000% will be back! Already planning the next time.

I used to order The Catch Boil, full house medium. The spices levels and the seasoning were on point. But recently ordered the same, I was very disappointed. No flavor, no spice, and I didnt even see any seasoning. It seems like they just put crab boil oil in the bag and called it good. And even it seems like they changed the shrimp. I was very disappointed with the price for what I got.

I eat here every couple of months. Most of the time from the drive thru. I have always enjoyed their food. This time it was terrible. I had fried oysters, fried crawfish tails and a side salad. I couldn t eat my food. The grease tasted old and the oysters tasted bad. The salad had the same taste. I believe it was from being tied up in the same bag.

Stopped here on a whim because I had a taste for oysters. Got there right after opening and ordered an oyster po-boy, red beans and rice and a banana pudding. It was a whopping $30+. I was hungry, so I decided to eat on the parking lot. My oysters were NOT good. Tasted like they were fried in old grease and the oysters weren t fresh. Same thing with the French fries, old grease. Since I got there around 11:00 a.m., I don t know why old grease would be a problem. Not to mention I ordered and paid for red beans, which I didn t get. Disappointed. Gave the food to my dog. Let me start by saying the food was great but the service was horrible. I took my wife and middle child there today for lunch, about the 3rd time Ive been there. I get to the door my wife and daughter are right behind me, there is an elderly couple coming up on the sidewalk and a lady coming up behind my wife and daughter. I open the door to hold it like any man should do in this situation. As soon as I open the door all the way and my wife is about to step in the lady working the lobby yells at me saying Sir the air is on... I would hope so the heat index is 106° but that doesnt change the fact that you have 6 customers walking in as you essentially yell out to shut the door. We get to the counter and I ask the lady working the counter how many pieces come with the biggest catfish basket to which she snapped Its a large and did not answer my question. As we ate the lady who was in the lobby yelling about the door told one of the other customers to hang on while she deals with these difficult people (talking about the customers in front of her). We will not return here.

I had to peel the shrimp which was cool I guess but they also weren t deveined. It was so much poo it was hard to even get through a few of them. The sauce is okay you can tell they boiled the shrimp and THEN stuck them in the sauce you have to almost drench it in the sauce to get any flavor. Very unimpressed

The staff were super sweet and helpful and the restaurant kept very clean. My order taker told me about the special on crawfish so I indulged. There was no flavor to any of the crawfish, like at all, despite that they look coated in coloring. When I could start to see the bottom of the pan I saw the sauce. Upon dipping my tails and claws into the sauce, that where all the flavor was hiding. I just wish Id known the sauce was down there or I wouldve asked that the bugs be rolled in it similar to how BB Tex Orleans (our fams favorite) does it. The tails were also so over cooked it was hard as ever to crack them open, even for an expert shucker like me. Ill try them out again and ask about the sauce to be rolled into the crawdads or put on the side for dipping. Worth going again for the staff and friendly environment! The food here was absolutely outstanding, I got the Jumbo Shrimp and finished it all in less than ten minutes, that was how amazing it was! I felt myself rising to the beautiful gates of Heaven when I tried the fries with their tartar sauce, my soul left my body. I don t remember anything after taking the first bite, it was breathtaking. The food left me full and very satisfied, I barely had room left in me for the beignets that were the best dessert I ve ever had. The service was absolutely incredible, I ve never felt so welcome in a restaurant before, everyone was in an amazing mood, not to mention how nice the atmosphere in the restaurant was. Ok the wife wanted snow crab,so here we are. Honestly Im not impressed. She got snow crab boil, I got the large shrimp basket. As pictured. Look I think the prices are to much for the caliber of food you recieve. The snow crab seemed to be empty and very hard to get to inside. The shrimp was tough and not easy to peel. I think its maybe not fresh and it was over cooked. Anyway the inside is ok, its not a place to bring someone your wanting to impress. Better of going to joes crab shack or another known seafood restaurant. We spent 48dollars for the pictured plates. This is a fast food joint trying to charge restraunt prices. I found the overall quality of the food to be good; however, the crawfish was a significant disappointment. We ordered the lemon pepper with a side of garlic butter. Unfortunately, the flavor was lacking, and the crawfish was overcooked, making it difficult to peel without the shell sticking to the meat or tearing off pieces. In the future, Ill be sticking to Buffalo Run off Rayford. Its a shame there isnt a better option closer to home.

Pleasantly surprised by this place. Quality of food, and quick service was well above what I expected to lie in the middle of Conroe, TX.. Has a unique fast food vibe atmosphere, but food hit home for satisfying cravings. I got the Big Easy blackened with pictured sides. Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. Bad, terrible, no recommend for anyone! Today I buy 2 to go orders and one of my orders was incomplete they only served the 8 shrimps and missed the corn. I didnt found out till I got home, I called them and reported the problem, told them I will go back later because the traffic was so bad and took me 45 minutes just to get home. Then started raining, I eat the shrimp since I was hungry and called them back to tell them I will pick up the corn tomorrow due to is been raining. The manager literally told me I needed to bring the food because people lie to get free food. I told him I already eat the shrimp and cant take it for him to see it, then he when on and told me that I am the manager and can give you free food since I work in inventory. He said I personally pack your food and remember serving the corn. I told him Really, I pay for the food already, but is ok you can enjoy the corn on my name since you working on inventory and enjoy the lost of a customer and gained this bad review. This food is fabulous. I really enjoyed my catfish and shrimp. Everything is fresh and well prepared and seasoned. I will definitely be back many times!

This is my first time ever eating at The Catch. Ill be honest. I did not expect it to be that good. It exceeded all my expectations!!! The fish was seasoned well and fried to perfection. The portions were good. The hush puppies were mid but hey they cant do everything right. But that etouffee... MY GOD!!! That was the BEST etouffee Ive had in a LONG time. It had flavor!!! The only thing that disappointed me was they didnt give me that much rice. But Ill take the large portion of shrimp over the rice any day. 10 outta 10... I will try again!

Ive tried this place twice, food tasted freezer burnt then the other time was chewy and salty. Service was awful, gave unnecessary attitude and were very unprofessional. I am also a Dasher and they refused to acknowledge Dasher policy even after showing them proof. Never again will I eat here or take an order from here.

I dont give them any in fact Im here right now 12:07 pm. The cashier, Summer, was rude, annoying, she only spoke English, but her body expressions and gestures when addressing her were angry, racist, not at all friendly. It has disappointed me. Oct.16/23

I didnt like the idea when you paid for your food which you havent eaten yet and the non - existing service it was virtually order at counter and pay then they bring you your food . When you pay before anything they ask for a tip on the receipt , I hadnt eaten and the service was non - existent . I wasnt impressed ...

We had the Budain balls, fried catfish, fry shrimp, and french fries. The fried shrimp had a fishy taste. To the extent where we were not able to finish them past the first one. The fries may have sat in the grease too soon and too long. The fish had good seasoning it was just overcooked.

Carrie failed to make this customer happy. Ordered big easy, they left out the Etoufee. She wanted ME to come pick up the bowl of Etoufee even after I said that Im a teacher and only get a limited amount of time to eat. She said she will not comp this meal bc all I was missing was that and nothing else. But this is majority of the reason why I ordered this $20 plate? Ok so at the end she got angry with me, raised her voice at me, and hung up on me twice, she would not solve my issue and had me wait for Julie to come in to work, who is the GM according to carrie just to see if Julie would have the decency to take care of Carries shift mistake. What makes The Catch different then everyone else around? It isnt the urgency to make every customer happy thats for sure!
