Hands down the best pad thai Ive ever had. The spice level is just perfect and the dish is so flavorful and delicious. We ate here earlier this week and I had to come back ASAP because Ive been dreaming about this pad thai ever since, no joke. You can really tell its made from scratch. It has such a rich, balanced and complex flavor. My husband ordered the fried shrimp and crawfish tails, and that too was heavenly! The breading is light and crispy and the shrimp tasted fresh, sweet and savory. The crawfish tails were the biggest Ive ever seen. Even the fries that came with it were delicious. Everything was perfectly seasoned as well. The thai iced tea really hit the spot as well. And the egg rolls are great! The service was awesome as well. Zero complaints, this is my new favorite place to eat in all of Houston. This place deserves a Michelin star!

We ordered from the dinner menu. The jumbo shrimp were GIGANTIC, Hot, crispy and fresh! I had a stuffed baked potato and a salad. The potato was nice and hot and was stuffed well. Salad was cold, crisp and fresh. I like that they put an assortment of crackers on the table too. Hubby said the fish was delicious as well. Everything was fresh and tasty and the large portions gave us leftovers. (I can eat my weight in Shrimp!) The owners are really sweet folks. The service was excellent. Its a very casual place with good food and great prices. They have Thai food as well, so there is a little something for everyone. Cannot wait to try more menu items... If I can stay away from the Fried Shrimp!

The food was great! I have picky eaters, and theyre already asking to go back. The customer service was good too. They made sure we had everything we needed. Portions are huge, so bring an appetite. The breading on the fried fish is delicious. The only thing I wished they had is dessert. Otherwise, no complaints. Kid-friendliness: Corn dogs chicken nuggets catfish nuggets. All kid meals came with fries.

Came here to try something new and was not dissapointed. You could tell the food was made fresh. The portions were huge! There are plenty of choices on the menu. So definitely a place you can take a variety of people. Will definitely make this a usual spot. Only thing I think they could add is a dessert section to the menu. Kid-friendliness: Kid menu had things like catfish nighets, corndogs, chicken nuggets, shrimp. All included fries.

We loved the original Baytown and were so disappointed when it closed. Just found out last week it was reopened and had to try. The food was terrific! We had fried shrimp and fried oysters. Both were as great as previously, maybe slightly better. The fries are different than before, almost kinda battered? House salad is very basic, coleslaw has a different seasoning that I didnt quite figure out. Were intrigued by the Thai aspect which has been added to the menu, but were just so happy to see it favorites back again that we werent tempted to try this time. Service was great and friendly. Cant wait to go back! Parking: The restaurant isnt big, parking seems to equate number of people it works home. The Thai style red curry with prawn shrimp and white rice was delicious. My friend ordered the Thai shrimp fried rice, which we both thought was delicious. We enjoyed fresh raw oysters and large boiled shrimp as appetizers. We were treated very well by the staff and look forward to coming back for boiled crawfish next time. It is a clean and neat restaurant including the rest rooms. There is plenty of seating with both booths and tables. They have a private room that accommodates around 40 people for private group events.

Just Sad. Baytown went from great food and customer service... To poor everything. I went in today to the newly remodeled Baytown. The place smelled bad. They LITERALLY rushed me and daughter to order food when theres only one other person was there (I truly did not understand what was the rush ABOUT) while ordering my food I was told that I can only have whats was on page for my side dishes ; she didnt even try to give me an option. Just take it!!! After redirecting my waitress and letting her know ... that I am ordering off the side menu and I understand that the price b******! We were uncomfortable, harassed, and of course NEVER going back. I wanted to LEAVE at drinks. Thats how rude and a professional. Side* the table behind us left at drink lol

but the shrimp and sausage was put in last minute because they were hard and had no flavor at all. Ordered the two piece catfish and six shrimp. The catfish and shrimp seemed fresh and have a nice crispy thin coating, but not a lot of flavor. French fries came on the plate, but there wasn t very many French fries at all. Condiments might be homemade but not sure could be store bought as well. That s my two cents.

The seafood gumbo is amazingly good, you can taste all the ingredients. The fried shrimp was also amazing. I will return really soon, I dont have to go into Houston to get good seafood and gumbo. An old favorite has been resurrected; thoroughly cleaned, ceiling fans removed, ceiling repaired and painted, new lights and walls also painted. The table tops were clean as well as the floors. The same delicious fried shrimp, fresh and hot with minimal crust. New owner was very friendly and visited each table after she had finished the cooking. Every Friday and Saturday is 11.99 shrimp dinner the shrimp are comes perfectly they are always big and juicy. Ive been going there a while now and the shrimp have been conned the same way each time. So just left this place here been once before and walked out cuz the food was horrible, but I figure lets give em another try 3 years later. Well we ordered food and the first thing they brought to the table was some sad, brown,slimy salads. I ask for the manager and he came to the table and as he walks up I explain the situation with his seaweed salad. Well he says ITS BECAUSE OUR COOLER WASNT ON LAST NIGHT .......... 3/7/20- its 3:42pm and there is only 1 other table in the entire restaurant. Ive waited 45 minutes and still havent gotten my food. There is one lady working the floor and has told us that the crawfish takes longer to make. Ive worked in a cajun restaurant and know exactly how to make the crawfish and how long it takes. What are they doing back there???? This is the first and last time here.

We ordered our food, and saw our waitress once in the 40 min it took to get our food. I ordered the Bacon wrapped shrimp stuffed with cheese and jalapeño, there was basically no cheese, and a slice of jalapeño about a centimeter in width. The shrimp was so over cooked it was like chewing on gum, My husband ordered 2lbs of crawfish which was bland and flavorless, the only satisfied member of our party was my daughter who got a bacon cheeseburger. Table was sticky, honestly I wanted really badly to like this place but it was no good, Overpriced for bad food.

The food was mediocre at best. Ive visited several Baytown Seafood restaurants and this one in Conroe didnt seem to stack up to the others. I ordered the catfish poboy with fries. Although I must say the food was hot and fresh, portion seem to dramatically drop off compared to my favorite Baytown Seafood restaurant in Pearland. All an all, the price was cheaper also at this Conroe location. Guess u get what you pay for

We were in town visiting family & this is where they wanted to go for lunch. Food was good. Being from New Orleans I tend to critique seafood a little more. The special for the day was, 2 pieces of fish, 3 fried shrimp, 2 crab cakes. UNFORTUNATELY, our waitress who was Caucasian & spoke English well, did NOT use her words & explain to use how the special worked. My husband, my son & I love shrimp & asked if we could have the special but add a few more shrimp. Waitress said yes, but DID NOT TELL US that we would NOT GET the crab cakes!!!! Our food came. Fish fillets were LARGE and seasoned well and fried. Shrimp were nice size, maybe 20-25 count! They were battered and fried. UNFORTUNATELY, where we come from you peel the ENTIRE shrimp before you batter and fry it. Here they left part of the tail on. And the batter on the shrimp had no seasoning, no flavor (Zatarains Fish Fry people) or salt & pepper! When the bill came I was upset because we were charged EXTRA money for the couple shrimp but was NOT reimbursed for the 6 crab cakes we did NOT RECEIVE!! I didnt want to make a scene at the restaurant because we had just left from visiting a family member in ICU at the Conroe Hospital and I didnt want to upset our elderly Aunt that was with us (it is her husband still in ICU). For a small restaurant that only towners know about, I DO RECOMMEND stopping in for some seafood if youre in the Conroe, Texas area! Just be SURE to CLARIFY what you are getting & paying for! The chicken breast is really juicy it is a plateful so come hungry.The fish is mouthwatering and it will melt in your mouth. Whenever we come back to Conroe this place is in our have to go eat list Fantastic restaurant

Normally weve had a good experience eating here. Not tonight though. The service was friendly but it took forever to receive our food and when we did it was cold. If I wasnt worried it would take another 30+ minutes to receive hotter food I would have sent it back but after already waiting as long as we did I wasnt in the mood to keep waiting. We ordered 3 grilled seafood plates.

Done with it! Thought it was just me till I read the other reviews. Been our go to place for many years. Wife got chicken fried steak the other day and it was unrecognizable. Not tenderized way overcooked, tough as a boot. Nothing like Ive ever seen! Showed waitress, she spoke to manager, no response. Wife didnt want to take it home for the dog. Noticed the place is not kept up well but overlooked it. Not taking a chance eating bad food. Sorry, Bye!

Id give a 0 star review if I could. The salads that came out with our meal had brown lettuce and rotten tomatoes in it. Ive been there off and on throughout the last 12 years and service has usually been good and the food used to he good about 7 years ago but the food has become horrible as of late. I would recommend going somewhere else to eat unless you want your next trip following it to be the restroom to get sick. I will never be back and I recommend that they have someone go through and clean house in the back and get some better qualified individuals in back running things.

Rotten tomatoes in the salad!!! Left before the seafood could be served... We were too scared of being served rotten shrimp or scallops. Owners brother acted like it was no big deal and that it wasnt his problem if the restaurant was running properly or not... Sorry to see it go downhill...wont be back again.
