Best barbecue in town. There manager Bill is the best, he always has a friendly attitude makes me sure that our order is correct always stops and says hello and treats my family like we re family, he s on top of his stuff. The first couple of times I tried Rudys it was amazing. They are not cheap theyre brisket is about I believe $12 for 8 oz. Their sides for a small coleslaw etc I believe were $2.59 and $5 something for a large. Place is immaculate people are friendly. I buy what they call the lean biscuit which is only a little bit of fat on the edges they also have the not lean lol, . I cant remember what they call it juicy brisket or something but it has a high percentage of fat and on the weekends they have prime rib which I havent tried its a little out of my budget. However last week I drove all the way over there which is about 15 or 16 mi for me I was craving their brisket and I bought 3/4 of a pound and a larger coleslaw. And they also have amazing brownies for a little over $3 a piece. As I said theyre not cheap. I never buy a drink so I dont recall what they are. To continue on this past week the brisket was absolutely terrible. It was so salty it was burning my mouth I was even afraid to give any to my dog because shes old and I didnt want her to have kidney problems. However I believe it was just an anomaly. I certainly hope so because I love their brisket. I gave them a four stars because even though theyre not inexpensive their food was awesome until last week the coleslaw was great. You also have a bar where you can get little round pickled peppers, onion slices , dill pickle slices, etc. If you like good beef hopefully the next batch wont be so salty and I think you will be very pleased. They also serve beer they have all kinds of beer in the coolers on ice and they have soft drinks again I dont buy either one I get mine to go always. But if you like these Id recommend giving them a try.

Tony, who is one of the employees there, dont know his position, came to check on me while my family and I were eating. He looked pretty handsome so I just had to leave a feedback. The other employees were handsome and or beautiful. They all had uniform on and did I say they were lovely too? Well yes, they is. If you go to this specific Rudys, anything you order from here is top notch, cooked to perfection. I liked my experience there and I go to different Rudys. Parking: Go with the times where it is not packed and it works out great where you will find the free parking. Place is great, dont miss out.

Went on 7/3/24 around 4 something the big dude with the glasses on was digging in his ear with no gloves on he did it twice ,a few weeks ago he took his hat off and scratched his head, when working around peoples food you should not be doing anything like this you should have on gloves and a hairnet. It s so nasty and unprofessional.

Ordered delivery on a Sunday. Ordered Moist Brisket, potato salad, beans and banana pudding. Everything was outstanding! Brisket was pull apart tender and juicy; potato salad was tangy and creamy and the beans were the best I have ever had. Pudding was yummy with cookies, chunks of banana and not too sweet. Will definitely be going back!

It was pretty good and a great place for a company meeting. Which we had. Only critique is the sliced beef was kinda... meh. Everyone was very polite and helpful and it was rather laid back which is perfect. The brisket lacked pizzazz. Give it some attitude, give it some character, give it something exciting or be boring. Its up to somebody. Somebody motivate the people who make important decisions and produce a better brisket for your own good

The food was OK- small amounts. I had to spread a napkin on the table to make my sandwich. I expected a plate but they dont give you one or even a tray to fix your sandwich on. They just give you a cup of pork and 2 slices of bread for you to fix your sandwich.

I absolutely love this place and have for years. Their breakfast tacos are by far my favorite. I always get the one that has sausage, spicy chopped, eggs, cheese and sometimes potatoes. Their banana pudding is also the best I ve ever had. Portion size is definitely good. The atmosphere is pretty cool too! If you see one of these on a map it s definitely worth stopping by for breakfast.

Im not sure what was going on today. We frequently eat at this Rudys and, until today, have always loved their food. Today, my husband ordered the jalapeño sausage. It looked and tasted like it had been prepared a long time before being served. The color was very dark and it tasted old. My chicken was okay but extremely dry. The green chili stew (my favorite) consisted mostly of tomato chunks and had an off flavor. I had two bites and threw it away. We dined a little late for lunch, 1:30, so perhaps our timing was part of the problem. We will try again, hoping today was an outlier.

Went to lunch there with my wife on 12/12/2023. Ordered brisket and ribs. The brisket was just so so. It was not up to expectations, but the ribs were the worst. Obviously they had been sitting somewhere for a long time. They were hard and dry. I attempted to salvage one by tearing the meat from the top of it, but it was like eating rope. The longer I chewed, the bigger it got. I am really disappointed. I expected more from Rudys.

I recently visited Rudys Barbecue and had an amazing experience. I ordered the turkey sandwich, and my wife had the sliced brisket sandwich. When I made it up to the counter, they gave us a sample of brisket and turkey (both incredible) before we started ordering. After finishing up, Alex came by and helped us get our tray taken care of, asked how everything was, and what our favorites were. Unfortunately today was the 2nd time I have been to Rudy s and for us the brisket was not good and the baked potato tasted like it had been pre heated since this AM and the corn wasn t that great either. The ppl in the front were wonder with greeting and saying goodbye. The main guy who helped me was great as well. This new location does not disappoint. The girl at the counter was so friendly and two stuffed potatoes were out in less than 5 minutes. Sides accessible to everyone were clean and organized. Loved it here, will def return with more of my family. Parking: There is alot of parking and the spots are large enough where others most likely wont ding your door.

We used to go to the Rudys in College Station it was wonderful. Then we moved to the Conroe area and we were excited when this one opened. We even came to the grand opening. The staff used to be very friendly, with wonderful customer service. The food was delicious and was served in good sized portions. Now it seems that theyre being bothered when you come in to order something. The food doesnt even taste fresh... corn is mushy as if it has been there for too many hours, the turkey tastes like a frozen turkey that you bought thats been cooked already. Like the thaw and heat variety. Also, the customer service is not very helpful, especially when you order on curbside, even when you give them plenty of time, over the time that they say it will be ready. They will tell you that it will be ready in 10 minutes yet when you arrive there, you call and they say your order hasnt been started yet...So you wait and wait and you call again and the staff member says weve been busy so you look around and there are hardly any cars? On another occasion when I ordered curbside, someone came out and said to me...Well, we have to cook more potatoes, so its gonna be even longer and I said Well, I cant really wait. So the staff member then said to me Its okay if you want to leave. I said Sure, Ill leave alright! His response showed complete lack of consideration. This has happened too many times and upon notifying the manager he was so nonchalant about it, that we decided not to come back. Parking: Handicap parking should be in front of a building.

Never been to Rudys and decided to try it today. The decor was nice and very country ..kind of like a barn set up for a huge family meal lol really enjoyed the vibe..I arrived to the counter and the gentleman that took my order wasnt unpleasant but very robotic in his delivery of how things work ..I get it he probably does this a hundred times a day..the few employees I saw in and out of the back seem disinterested and not very happy. I chose to try the brisket sandwhich and the choped and sauced ..the brisket was a bit on the dry side but had a ton of flavor and was very good with a bit of bbq sauce on it ..the chopped and sauced was kind of bitter, not sure what was up with that. The potatoes salad was awesome. The turkey sample I yried was super moist and flavorful and I will be getting some of that at a later date.. my roommate had the pork tenderloin, I tried a piece and besides very salty it was super moist and the flavor seemed to be great except for the salt.. overall Ill definatly try it again none of the things I didnt care for were bad enough to give them another try

Took grandpa to Rudy s for his Birthday ! He loved it. If he not disappointed being a retired meat cutter. We did not walk way hungry from Rudy s.

I asked them to not put a lot of meat on my sandwich but apparently they don t understand plain English I will not eat there again the so called barbecue was not that good really bad smoke taste so I don t recommend this place to anyone they need to learn how to follow instructions and do what the customer ask
