This place is wonderful! It is so cute, cozy, and welcoming. The food was wonderful and I can t wait to come back for more. It reminded me a bit of the pie shop from the show Pushing Daisies! I had a chicken salad sandwich on a croissant with a side of baked potato soup. It tasted like it was made with love!

Been coming here for years, and have always loved the atmosphere and food in the place. Food seems to be lacking the wow factor lately, specifically when it comes to flavor. Desserts are great as usual though. The service is where we found it to be lacking the most. Used to be counter service and while I don t usually prefer that, the table service had me wishing they d return to it. Our server was very friendly and sweet but didn t seem to have even decent menu knowledge, we never received one of our waters, and let our drinks go empty well before coming back to check on us. Felt like they could ve been more attentive, such as bringing us silverware that we were missing. All of these issues were never problems when they were counter service, as we would just get our silverware and waters ourselves and wouldn t have to be waiting on someone to do it for us.

Took my family for a late lunch yesterday, which was Sunday about an hour before they close walked in was greeted by the waitress. She cleaned the table for us, which was five of us and told us that our waitress would be with us in a few moments we waited for about 10 minutes, the lady that set us.ask the waitress that was assigned to our table if she was going to help us and she said no, she was busy talking to customers at another table. I feel bad for the other waitress. She said she was supposed to be off, but she went ahead and took her order anyways which is very nice but the other one I don t know how she can keep her job there. maybe she s the owners daughter. at that time we should ve got up and just left, but we re not that way. We wanted to try a new restaurant. Service like that I don t know how the management didn t come out and talk to that waitress she just sit there and talk to those customers almost the whole time we were eating our lunch good luck staying in business

Friends, If youre looking for one of the friendliest places to buy some sweet fresh pies, this is it! Weve come to this unique place a handful of times now. The cashiers are sweet and friendly. It feels like grandmas kitchen in a way. The atmosphere is wonderful ! On this particular day we were helped by Ms. Sydney. She exuded such genuine care in her greeting , making us feel like home while she fully answered our questions and also helping us check out. I highly recommend this place!

I called in 30 minutes ahead of time and ordered a side salad. When I arrived, on time, they tried to charge me full price for a full salad. I explained that I ordered a side salad and explained that to the gentleman that took my order. The lady at the register told me he was new and she told me they would give me the whole salad at the side salad price which I agreed was very nice of them. While I waited for them to give me my salad I text my co-worker that I had lunch for her since they made a mistake. After waiting almost 10 more minutes I asked the lady at the register were my salad was since I had ordered it over 30 minutes ago. She told me they were re-making it since it had sat there and got soggy. When they brought it to me it was the side salad. I have no problem with the order being remade but they should have told me. I had already told my co-worker I was bringing her a salad so I expected the larger one which they told me they would give me. They never said they were remaking it . I think this is bad customer service and they need to communicate with their customers since I was standing there waiting.

One of my favorite places to visit! We always take our family and friends who visit here. Great food and pie options. Very friendly staff and helpful. This place is always great, breakfast or lunch or cant go wrong. Nice little patio if you like to eat outside. UPDATE: I understand that not all food can be healthy BUT on my recent health journey I have discover the very big negative effects of processed oils on our health (all seed and margarine are heavily processed). It is not hard to make a switch to cooking with butter for things such as eggs and toast. This restaurant does not even have butter at all, and they cook with canola and soy oil. I will not be eating here again.

I don t think I d be back. The atmosphere was really nice but the food wasn t good. I wish they d tell me the coleslaw was sweet and mixed with apple slices. It was also really soupy, like I m eating cabbage and apple soup. The patty melt is inferior to whataburger s patty melt. It s baffling how whataburger s patty melt has better presentation than what I was given here. It was nothing to write home about. The cilantro lime chicken sandwich was also salty, my gf felt her blood pressure rising. Kinda disappointed. Food sucked but the coffee was good.

Came here for a cherry pie because of the reviews. Unfortunately, the pie was a 5 out of 10 and almost not a pie at all...more of a round cobbler. Paid around $30, and in hindsight the price plus the 45 minute drive to Conroe was totally not worth it. Sad and regret is all I can say.

It s as if they had zero of their usual staff and everyone was a new employee.. came here for Mother s Day, took a chance on a new place for us and will not be back. The girl taking orders didn t know the menu, they were out of bacon and feta. They told me that the menu was old and there wouldn t be a $3 up charge for adding meat to the biscuits and gravy, and then there clearly was. The food took more than 30 minutes to come out and all they did was make excuses that it was Mother s Day and they had a lot of Door Dash Orders. Here s a bit of advice. Put your best foot forward on a holiday, because someone new walked in, and we ll never be back. Biscuits and Gravy was good. Waffle was awful. You could give me 10 free trips here and I wouldn t step foot in this place again. Thanks for putting a dent in my wife s Mother s Day.

Heads up to all out there who do not consume pork, their side salad has bacon in it. When we discovered it, they fixed our salads and were very sweet about it. Went on a Saturday about 1:30. It was not busy. The atmosphere was very appealing. There was a lady playing some music. I had the chicken salad on crossient and Waldorf salad as well as a piece of pie cant remember the name of it but was like a brownie. It was all delicious and would definitely come back. I got the west coast wrap, which is supposed to be a turkey wrap with bacon and avocado. I spent 12.50 on a huge wrap filled with lettuce, with barely a teaspoon of tiny diced turkey bits. There was more bacon than turkey. I complained and the girl said oh usually its filled with turkey. Ill get you some she came back with 2 tablespoons of diced bits. They used to take orders at table side but now require customers to order at counter then they bring your order ok fine, but my biggest beeef was when I paid and their little machine asked if I wanted a printed receipt and I clicked yes the cashier said oh, we can t print receipts but you can put your email address in and get one that way.. businesses do this so they can SELL your email (trust me it has happened to me) so I said no way . So basically I paid but didn t get a receipt never again!!

I recently went to pie in the Sky to get a slice of their coconut cream pie , but when I got inside I could smell breakfast so I asked if they even serve breakfast and they said yes ......I dont think I need to say but I am a repeat offender and anytime Im near exit 84A on 45 I will by for my egg, ham, cheese lettuce and tomato breakfast sandwich, tell them we want our sandwiches like the one Sheree got pictured below and a cup of grits and butter I like sugar on mine they are cooked to perfection definitely a 10 .......Shout out to the server on my first visit Nicole , server my third visit Magan, SO POLITE SERVICE WITH A SMILE and the cook that was terrified to duplicate the sandwich from my 1st visit Treasure.. Magical thinking, or tossing out the name brand of something that should have been in stock but wasnt, is not going to change it.

We ve been going here for years but today was our last. Still a beautiful place with good food but customer service is non-existent. They have gone from being a nice sit down resturant to an order your food at the window place like MacDonalds. Also, no biscuits and gravy for breakfast when it s one of your staple menu items? This is an un-forgivable sin .!

My friend & I ordered the Half Chicken Salad and Cup of Baked Potato Soup. She chose the croissant and I had mine on wheat bread. Mine was so much bigger than hers (regular size of a sliced piece of bread). There was NO flavor, just mayo & chicken with barely any mayo, only lettuce (no tomato or pickle), the bread wasnt toasted, and it was SO dry! I couldnt even swallow it unless I took a drink. I ended up eating it without the bread. For the menu to say it was their Famous Chicken Salad perplexed me and the only reason I didnt ask for my money back was because of the soup. Their Potato Soup was flavorful, cheesy, it had fresh green onions, and was just plain delicious. They admittedly forgot to bring my friend her pie and we waited forever because we didnt want to be rude. Plus, they tried to bring us someone elses Chicken Salad on Lettuce, set it down right in front of my friend, we said it wasnt ours, she picked it up, and set it down in front of the lady who DID order it. I wouldnt care but the person who did order it was elderly and its flu season. The whole meal was not worth the money in my opinion. My friends pie was almost $7....for one slice of pie? I gave it two stars instead of one only because the restaurant was nice and the soup was delicious.

Placed an order 2 weeks ago, pre-paid and I have the confirmation email, for pickup Thanksgiving morning 9:15AM. Arrived early, no one is here. Great food. Friendly waitstaff. Management however could use an attitude check. We went to the line and then the manager waved us over to take our order at the 2nd register, she asked if she could assign us to a table even though we had already selected a table as clearly instructed on the sign as we walked in. She then asked what we would like but the phone rang before we could respond. She rolled her eyes and took the call (I ve never been to an establishment that prioritized phone calls over the paying customer standing directly in front of you but ok). We waited patiently til she finally tagged in a member of her waitstaff who kindly asked us to go back to the first register where our order was finally taken. It may seem like a small thing but the whole interaction was awkward and unnecessary. I see other reviews here that mention a former rearrangement of the dining experience that maybe they should go back to.

I read service was bad but wanted to give it a try anyway. We waited ONE HOUR for 2 slices of pie. It was not busy. Got there at 3:50 and got our pie at 4:55 after having to ask about it. People that ordered sandwiches after us had their food before we had TWO SLICES of pie. The bad service reviews are no joke!! As for the pie when we finally got it, key lime was just okay, pecan was not good and neither was chocolate cream. To the owner, the dark, curly short hair lady was very sassy.

We went there to get the peaches and cream pie. We were told they discontinued it and replaced with the peach cobble. At $25.00 this was by far the worst cobbler I have every had. I have never had anything bad to say about this establishment, but why would you discontinue your unique, peaches and cream for cobbler? The cobble was, runny, grainy and bland. Sorry to say, there is no need to drive so far to get something special when we could do better at any other bakery. Sorry, I was a fan.

Pie in the Sky used to have good food, good vibes, and good service. Not anymore. They ve gone to a order at the front, and your food will be delivered to the table format. In reality, they aren t getting the food out in a timely manner and spend more time yelling through a mask Sorry there are no tables available . They can t match the food with the tables, and the order is wrong when they do. I had to fill the menu basket, and I saw another patron bussing a table. At least the pie is still good.

It was our first time to visit the Pie in the Sky. The chicken salad was wonderful. The French Dip sandwich was excellent. The potato soup was the best I have had. The staff was extremely friendly and the restaurant was clean and decorated neat. We will be back when we are back that way. I would recommend them to anyone want good food!!

Horrible! We werent greeted when we walked in, we had never been there before and will never be back. So we ordered our food and the young lady behind the counter was totally not there, the food itself wasnt good at all! Very disappointed in our visit today. Ordered oatmeal and berries and didn t get hardly any berries. If you offer toast have a toaster not grilled bread. Ordered a macchiato with caramel and got half a cup of coffee and the americano was not an americano. Bought a sugar free berry pie last time and it was a gelatinous mass. Stopped in here for desserts the restaurant is cute. We looked at all of the pies had a question about one, my husband asked the young lady working and she just walked away. Maybe she didn t hear him I ll let that one go. After we paid for our goodies he asked the lady behind the counter what s the best way to eat these? Do they need to be reheated? She huffed at him like that was the most bizarre question she s ever been asked. Told him to put it in the microwave if he wanted to. We just moved here and heard great things about this place and after going in there we won t be going back. They don t need out money. love the food but a major concern for us today as we watched the gentleman with the long hair stroke his hair constantly between bringing people their food and silver. final blow was watching him untie and flip it around like a lasso behind the pastry counter before tying it up again. just please fix this! i believe more upsetting was seeing all the staff observe this over and over, and say nothing.

What a great little place to have a bite to eat! When you first walk in, you will find menus in a basket on a table by the door on the left. You can check out what they offer on the way to the register. Everything I have tried there has been good! There is usually a line, but it moves along quickly. They will bring your food out to your table once youve ordered. My favorite lunch is their club sandwich with a cup of potato soup. The portions are generous, so either be hungry or plan to share the sandwich. The desserts that I have tried are all delicious. My favorite is the Lemon icebox pie. Also, not to be missed are their yummy cake balls. Strawberry and Triple Chocolate are very tasty! Do yourself a favor and try lunch at Pie in the Sky one afternoon.

Stopped by Pie in the Sky to get two chicken salad sandwiches to go. Was really looking forward to eating it when we got home. But when we got home there was hardly any chicken salad on the sandwich, just mostly bread! So for $21 we had mostly bread sandwiches for lunch What a deal - Not! I make pretty good chicken salad myself so next time Ill just make my own.
