I cant say enough about this place. We have been here a few times now and the food is delicious! We have never ordered something we dont absolutely enjoy. The service is great too! We visited Buldogies for a second time in a week! We drove 45 minutes one way and they did not disappoint! The gourmet hot dogs, loaded fries, corn dogs, and loaded funnel cake were amazing! We ordered about 6 different hot dogs because my husband and I couldn t decide. The owners are so sweet and attentive! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND EVERYONE TO TRY THEM OUT!

I love eating at Buldogies! The food is amazing and the owners are very welcoming and accommodating. The communication was on point from our server and the owner cooking my food. I love getting an El Churro at the end of my meal and was able to get one specially made with deep fried snickers because they were out of another ingredient to make the base. It was absolutely delicious! My daughter loves coming and getting a bottle of grape soda with her food. Fresh egg and thick cut bacon on my hot dog made for a savory meal and they have the yummiest fries and tots!

Hands down, best hot dog Ive ever had! I had the New York City Dog. Hubby had the Johnny Ringo Corndog, which was a peanut butter, raspberry jelly, and bacon dog. Sounds weird, but he said it was amazing! The NYC dog had mustard, kraut, and onion relish. So delish. And lets not forget the buns, which were soooo good! The tots were extremely tasty, as were the sweet potato fries. This is a place worth going, and we will certainly be back!! The owner was there, and shes a hoot! The other two that were part of the team were super fun and friendly! Thanks for putting out such great food!

This place is amazing. The food is fresh and delicious! The staff is very friendly and hospitable. They even inquired about if I had power at home after the recent hurricane. Dining area is a little small, but it s really not noticeable. Pricing is very fair as well! 9.5/10 for sure will be returning !

We stopped by on a roadtrip. Initially we chose it just because the name was so interesting, but this place far exceeded our expectations. It was a family friendly environment mixed with the dive atmosphere. We tried 3 different dogs and a Frito Pie and all were amazing. Stopped by for lunch and had an amazing meal. First time here, we had the Wyatt Earp Buldogie and it was so good we had to order 2 more to take home to the kiddos. Went here 3/21/2024 for dinner with my wife and son. The two founders were behind the counter and were both very kind the entire time we were there. They casually chatted, gave recommendations, and made sure we had everything we needed. Service we friendly and the type of sincerity I appreciate! We order a plain hotdog for our son, a Chicago dog, a North Carolina Dog, and an order of fries. All were incredible. Best hot dog I ever had. Additionally, we order the funnel cake with a scoop of ice cream on top. Seriously better than any funnel cake at any fair Ive been too. Sooooo good. Give this place a try!

We were in town for a wedding and made a point to try. It was a unique experience. We had the Sundance and Johnny Ringo. Im glad we gave it a try. We also had the loaded fries. For the price we paid it should have been atleast double the amount for the fries. I would have been disappointed if drove back an hour to try this place. Id try it again if in the area to try other selections but I dont agree with others stating its the best hot dog theyve ever had. But it is unique. We would have liked to tried deep fried sticky pudding but they did not have any. The employees were nice.

This place has the best hotdogs. I tried a funnel cake this time and it wasn t the best. The dough was pretty greasy well into the cake. Maybe the oil wasn t hot enough when it went in. I m not sure but it wasn t as good as my favorite funnel cake place. You pretty much serve yourself you write your own order and turn it in. Then you get your silverware etc. Don t show up for an early lunch because they don t open the doors until straight up noon!

I returned recently for some delicious hot dogs, and they still have great food and service! I tried to order ahead at lunch in a Saturday and they had so much business my plan has to change to dinner. Its a great small restaurant with a wild west vibe. Typically, if they dont answer the phone its busy and ordering in person is required. The family favorites are the Chicago Dog, chicken salad sandwich, and the tater tot trio. Great Hot Dogs and Fair treats Vegetarian options: Theres fried cheese on a stick and grilled cheese sandwich options along with a variety of fried potato options. We have eaten from here multiple times both pre and post COVID. I typically pick it up but I have eaten in person here twice & even had it delivered during the very very short time it was on one of the popular services. Here s the deal they are truly great hotdogs we also love, love the siracha fries. It is like a carnival food restaurant but if the carnival made their food with fresh ingredients when you place your order and if it was actually good. They are a bit pricy if you compare them to Sonic, but honestly there is NO comparison. Other reviewers are correct there is not a lot of seating in the restaurant during lunchtime as it is a very small space. Which doesn t suit me or my anxiety. It is disappointing to see how frequently they have to close due to being under staffed .

This husband and wife owned and operated restaurant is such a treat for Conroe, TX/Montgomery County. I had not been here in a couple years due to a change in work which changed my path of travel but I finally made it back in to let my cousin experience the great food, people and service. They were out of fries, which made me sad since the Siracha fries are my favorite, so instead, we opted for the loaded tots, and each of us had our own choice of dog. They have made some improvements since my last visit, which is the TVs tucked away in the back niche with the four small tables. I love how they use those to display items from their menu and the history of the name and construction of buldogies! I ll go out on a limb and say these are the best hot dogs I ever had. Just went there for the first time today and expected a run of the mill place. Any hot dog I have had anywhere is usually the same meat, maybe different bread and the same old same old (Chicago, chili cheese, etc.). Not these guys. The dog by itself is delicious and they have a huge menu with choices you don t see anywhere else. I love that everything is themed off my favorite westerns too. If I had to complain the place is pretty small and I really wish I could order a beer! Will definitely be coming back, almost wanna go back there for dinner too!

I took my granddaughters here as they talked about this place for my whole visit. Its a small place close to Lake Conroe. The food was fabulous and the service was excellent. They have struggled to survive though Covid, an injury of the owner and rising costs of food as well as a change in the local highway pattern. I highly recommend this small family owned business. Give them a try. The hot dog was the best Ive had in years and the sweet potato tots and homemade lemonade were excellent.

Its not a big place but it gives you a sense of comfort eating inside. Mainly because the staff are so friendly and personable. Honestly one of the best restaurants in the greater Houston area. Easily some of the best food I ve ever had. It is incredible, I can t recommend Buldoggies highly enough, they are true artists. They take hot dogs to an entirely new level.

My family and I absolutely love this place! We have been coming here ever since they first opened. The owners are so sweet and always so welcoming and friendly. The food is by far the best carnival food I ve ever had! Their siracha fries are to die for as well as their fully loaded hot dogs! Can t forget the funnel cake either. (Ps: get the funnel cake fully loaded you won t regret that decision!) we 10/10 recommend

I ate here for the first time with my good friend for a late lunch today. The owner and staff are very friendly the restaurant is clean. But I have to tell you the hot dogs are Gourmet I have the Chicago dog and the North Carolina dog both delicious I cant believe how delicious the chili and coleslaw were and the Buns were delicious. I never imagined to do so much with the hotdog. They took Americas past time backyard, standard hotdog, and turned into something amazing. I saw the Johnny Ringo had peanut butter and jelly on it and thought it might be good for kids, but it came recommended by others in the restaurant so we tried it. Wow, dont be afraid.

Buldogies is by far one of my favorites! Choice of hot dog brand and the buns are absolutely divine! Tons of topping choices but my go to has always been the bacon mac and cheese! Went to Buldogies tonight for the first time ever for dinner and literally had the best hot dog I ve ever had in my life! I had The Pale Rider with regular mayo instead of horseradish mayo, and it was AMAZING!!! The folks were awesome as well! Great customer service! They made my son a frito pie corn doggie (cause he couldn t decide if he wanted a corn dog or a frito pie). My boyfriend had a Wyatt Earp and said it was so delicious it made him want to go have a shoot out with someone in the street (he was kidding, of course!) We all shared trio fries which not surprisingly we re also awesome! Super yummy funnel cake for dessert, and we all were very happily stuffed! I have no doubt that no matter what you choose to get from here, you will not be disappointed. If I could give them 10 stars, I would. We will definitely be back! Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly place.

These are the best hot dogs around, no comparisons. The buns are perfectly toasted, the hot dogs are big and quality, and lots of variety too. You can customize your hot dog or choose from the set combinations. The fries, including the loaded fries, are thick (sidewinder?) style and really fresh and tasty. All the food is delicious. I like writing down your own order on the ticket. Its a cool touch and I have ordering anxiety and it makes me feel much more at ease. For feedback, I wish this awesome restaurant felt a little more welcoming. To clarify, Ive never had a negative experience.

We had a great meal here. The hotdogs were creative and tasty. My sons Chicken and Funnel Cake waffle looked and smelled fantastic. He really enjoyed it. The cheese dog was good and brought memories of my youth getting a cheese dog in the mall, ages ago. The loaded fries were a little pricey but the effort, quality and taste made up for it. This was our second time to enjoy Buldogies and I honestly believe they have the best chili cheese dog ever! The bun is amazing and fresh. While sitting at Twisted Angels Art Studio getting a tattoo we wanted something to eat. We decided to come here to Bulldoggies and get us a hot dog. What hotdog?? Its a masterpiece. You MUST eat here! I happened across Buldogies at random because I was craving a hotdog, but lets explain something first... If you want a Hot dog, go to Sonic or snag an Oscar Meyer at Kroger. If you want a masterpiece on a killer bun that not only is satisfying, but will rock your world, stop reading this review and check them out. The menu is HUGE and everything looks awesome, the atmosphere is totally relaxed and friendly, but theres also a cool little quirk to it. You gotta sit yourself and fill out your own food ticket. Once its ready, simply hand it to the staff. I did the Chicago Style (We have lots of Chicagoans in the family and its the best interpretation Ive seen around here. They nail it.), the Jesse James, the fries, root beer (I forget their special brand) and a soft pretzel. AMAZING!

Best hotdogs Ive ever had! Their sweet relish, sauerkraut, and picked onions are the bomb! Im more of a corndog gal and theyll make any style hotdog into a corndog! Heaven! Didnt get to try the fried deserts because they were sold out at 7pm which should attest to how great this place is! This was an excellent find! We went in to give it a try and were not disappointed at all. The Wyatt Earp was a delicious choice and the burnt ends really made it. The New York City was definitely well thought out and had a delicious balance of sour and sweet. Their corn dogs are a tasty treat and can be done up like the hot dogs which was really cool. And not only was the food excellent, but the service and decor pushed it over the top. If I could give ten stars, I would!

Amazing. A friend and I decided to get crazy after an event and try this place out. We wanted to give the whole menu a try but chose wisely. All I can say is we will be back to try more items. I ordered the Wyatt Earp dog, a plain corn dog, Mac n cheese. My friend ordered the North Carolina dog, Mac Wild corn dog, and we split the sampler fries that have a little of everything. All the food was so good. When we thought we were done and had boxed up our leftovers, we got ballsy and ordered the sticky toffee pudding and omg!!! We couldnt stop. The white chocolate raspberry ice cream was so creamy and tasted perfect with the toffee pudding and caramel sauce. I love this place and if you see it you must try it. They make everything fresh for you and its flavor in every bite.
