Excellent food. Staff does a good job. Just dont feel safe . Bathroom behind the building doesnt feel safe. Needs a an over due make over with seating. Not comfortable. The food is really good. Drive is good. Parking is a challenge at times with busy streets.

The food here is great! A definite must visit in Conroe. The dining room is dated and small and the bathroom needs some serious overhaul. That being said we had an outstanding meal here and highly recommend it.

I have to be disappointed. Everything is cooked fresh when you order. The atmosphere is not all great but its those type of burger joints you would definitely want to go to for the best tasting food. The chain restaurants dont know what it is to have this great food. OK, Whataburger is 3rd with Big Burger Vs in second. Stop by Burger Boy and judge for yourself!!

We ordered burgers, nuggets and fried fish. It was all fresh, hot and flavorful. The staff was wonderful and polite. Honestly, I m willing to make the drive from Tomball to Conroe to eat there again. Oh and Whataburger take notes. When someone asks for extra fkn jalapeños that means extra mother fkn jalapeños. I asked for jalapeños on my burger and the person making my burger must ve dumped a whole can on it. That alone got them 5 stars.

It was my first time coming in to get a chili cheese burger but when I got back to my job to eat it look I was going to eat a chili soup as I tried to pick the burger up pieces of the meat came out as I looked the cook slice my meat into 3 pieces I tried to eat it n was so upset I had to throw it away in the trash and I was messing some stuff I ordered. Im never going back the worse experience they made me realize McDonalds wasnt so bad after all. If I could I wouldnt give them a star at all Im very upset with this experience.

Burger was wrong from start with my pickup order. After I arrived home the burger was not close to the order I had placed. When I seen it was wrong I called first and they were going to give me a credit. After tasting the burger I went back to the restaurant to get it replaced. They did replace it but left out the onion rings in the bag from my original order. When I received my correct order and returned to my house the order was correct but was not worth the hassle. You could tell the Patti in the burger was not fresh and was frozen. A mediocre hamburger at best. You would think from a place called Burger boy that the burger would actually be fresh meat. I did have one onion ring, which was also mediocre and probably frozen as well. Additionally, I ordered steak fingers which Was better than most places in the area. Comparable to Dairy Queen but not over priced. I would ve preferred more gravy but at the price they charge I will not complain. The french fries are also frozen and mediocre. In my opinion, burger boy has okay burgers with a comparable price. That is if don t have to return for a correct order. You will have to make your own judgment. I will not be recommending this place to anyone except if you are on a budget!

I dont know exactly what I was expecting. I think everyone hyped it up so much I was expecting more. Thats what I get for expecting. The burger was good but not as described. I ordered porkchops, and I got fried I dont know what kinda meat I got. The shake was thin. Maybe I just need to try this place a gain. The Texas toast was too buttery for me. I was sad when I left. I see such great reviews on the place, which is why I wanted to go. My husband, children, and I finally got to go, and it was not all its hyped up to be. The buger and fries are just plain burgers and fries. The bathroom is outside almost in an outhouse kind of area. Ate here for the first time. It was hot and delicious. The burger was juicy and the fries were HOT! Told them my husband missed out and would be back!!! Nothing fancy just plain good! This is your neighborhood burger spot where you can see people fixing your food. Folks speak to you when you come in and if they dont they are probably busy managing the make-shift drive thru, calling orders, answering the phone, making homemade shakes, and taking orders to tables because all food is made fresh to order. This is the spot where folks still write the daily specials on colored paper and masking tape them to the walls. Its where you order the onion rings and the curly fries. The cheeseburger is fresh and delicious with crisp veggies and the combos are easy on the pocket. Our fries are always hot. Their shake and malt flavors are both a combination of classic like strawberry or oreo and unique like butterscotch!! There are about 4 or 5 booths and the same number of tables. The bathroom is outdoors and around the corner. There is some give and take but every time we bring friends to Conroe, we make sure to include Burger Boy as a stop. I hope you will too. Kid-friendliness: Kids will enjoy fries and shake and burgers.

This place doesn t look like much on the outside, but after all, it has been here in this same building since the 70 s. The food here however is delightful. You won t find food like this in the franchise places! I ve ate here semi regularly since they first opened, through several owners, and the food still tastes the same as it did decades ago. First time eating here. Food was phenomenal. Giant burger meal was worth the price. Hamburger was hot and made to order. Fries were crispy and hot. Place was very warm as we dined in but the Texas heat may have played a part in this too. Not enough parking spaces but they do have a drive up window. I would return to try out other items on their menu. This hole in the wall has been around since the late 80s and worth the trip to try out if youre ever in the Conroe area.

What a fantastic 1950s style burger joint! But it s not just burgers they have fantastic catfish and chicken fried steak and the tons of other stuff. They also have outstanding shakes!

It was okay. Not great, not bad, but I ordered the giant hamburger and had the same size burger as my friend who ordered just a regular burger. The only difference was more vegetables on mine. Our patties werent very seasoned, and since they were exactly the same I am leaning towards frozen patties. The staff didnt smile the whole time we were there. So that could be better. If youre hungry. Go for it, but I would rather just go to Wendys or Whataburger. Seems about the same level, but those have better atmospheres and bigger burgers.
