We are a family of four (two kids two adults) We were welcomed right away at the front door and found the waitress to be friendly. We decided to eat on the patio and we did not have a reservation, however it was later Friday night and they had plenty of space to accommodate. The atmosphere is great for a date night. I enjoy wine and they have a lovely list. The food menu has lots of gluten free options, food was presented well, but honestly mediocre. Price point was fine. I was disappointed that the owners did not come by to check on our experience, despite doing so with every other table. Not only one owner but both owners. It felt like our presence wasnt acknowledged which left a bit of a sour taste in an otherwise decent meal. We are a casual family and I try to give people grace, but this book was definitely judged by its cover . Which is a shame since I have such a strong influence and following. I ll recommend for a date night. But we ve had better Italian and better overall experiences elsewhere.

A wonderful experience all around. Food was great, dessert was even better. I had the lemon cake for dessert and I highly recommend it. For appetizer we had Bruschetta Mista and I fell in love with the pesto ones. For dinner entrées we had the Cappelletti al Ragù and the Garganelli Vodka e Pancetta, which we found very pleasing and high quality. This will be my new go to Italian place as I work my way through the whole menu. The owners happened to be there and they make the place very inviting. I do recommend dressing up a little as it is on the nicer side with white table clothes. However, I think they would be just as inviting no matter how you dress but most were dressed very well.

This place is truly lovely and the food is fantastic. Great easy-going atmosphere. Wonderful wine selection, organized by region. Highly recommend mozzarella frita and burrata appetizers, the vodka e pancetta pasta dish, and finish with tiramisu and affogato. Simple dishes but simple done right! Flavorful and very satisfying. We will definitely be back!

We were really excited to try this place and went for my birthday. The ambience and staff were nice; the wine was good, and the fried mozzarella appetizer was really tasty. Unfortunately, both of our entrees were extremely disappointing. I ordered the scallops with risotto: there was absolutely no flavor to the dish at all. The texture of the risotto was fine except for the puddles of yellow liquid on the sides of the plate (I guess there was saffron in it? Never would have known from tasting it ), and the scallops, though warmed through, were barely seared at all. My fiancé ordered the penne, which was also totally bland; worse, the pasta was mushy, as if it had been sitting in sauce under a heat lamp for hours. There is much better Italian food in DFW, and I m more than happy to drive a little to get it. Don t waste your time here unless you just like sub-par suburban fine dining.

Had such an amazing time! Not only is the restaurant a vibe and perfect for a date night, but everyone was extremely kind and welcoming and the food was UNBELIEVABLE! Both owners were there and were really great people, our waitress Margo was also phenomenal and was the best service we d probably ever received. She was extremely knowledgeable about the different wines and made us feel right at home. Pasta and bruschetta were 11/10! Presentation was on point as well! Highly recommended to anyone thinking of going, if I didn t live so far I would become a regular here. Needless to say I ll be coming back very soon!

Branzino was delicious. Hang up was the calamari, should be a simple dish, lightly flash fried including tentacles, lemon wedge and marinara. Loverias calamari: no tentacles, no lemon wedge, and a thick panko like pre frozen onion ring batter that yielded a chewy product. Just a very sad version that should be a slam dunk for an Italian restaurant.

With the plethora of dining options, that are throughout the surrounding area, Im so thankful we settled on dinner reservations @ Loveria! The charm of this place alone is enough to make you want to become a regular at this haven. Beautifully decorated, open space, with expansive windows to connect the outdoors to your dining experience. The dining room was arranged thoughtfully and with vibrancy like that of being in an Italian restaurant in NYC or London. The food was impeccable and the selections were plentiful, while the wines and drink offerings did not disappoint. Definitely inspires you to look forward to returning to try more of the various options. We started with an Insalata Romana (Ceasar salad) that had great ingredients (Polenta and Parmesan croutons), and the Ceasar dressing was one of the most authentic dressings Ive had outside of Italy. My wife had the Tagliatelle al Brasato w/ a slowly braised Waygu beef, which was amazing, and I tried the Lobster Ravioli! Equally divine, with one of the best creamy Lobster sauces Ive ever had. We finished it off with the Limoncello Cake, which literally had us wanting to lick the plate. All in all, this was an incredible dining experience and a very welcome and pleasant surprise to find such quality, ambiance, and attention to detail in the Dallas metroplex. We will certainly be returning soon, again, and again!

Everything we ate was phenomenal and reminded us of our honeymoon in Italy. We had the bruschetta, gnocchi bolognese, short rib ravioli, tiramisu, and a cannoli, and everything was perfectly portioned and delicious. The cocktails and wine were delightful as well. The restaurant has a wonderful ambiance (especially the patio) and the friendliest staff. You can see that the owners truly have a passion for food and for their business. My absolute favorite place in the whole area near our home. When my boyfriend asks where I want to go - this is it. Every time. I m Italian, so I have never enjoyed going out for Italian good . I can make that at home! But my gosh Andrea and his wife are amazing. They have brought traditional and special dishes to Texas. The wine list should be TRUSTED. Andrea knows what he is doing - let him pick for you if you cannot decide. The food is as authentic as I have ever had - bread was steaming, served with balsamic reduction and olive oil - Appetizers could be a meal of their own, try them all - the pasta is hand made, and you can tell. The number of sauces to choose from is going to be your biggest problem - I m a big cannoli connoisseur .. and it was perfect. End rolled in crushed pistachios, not too sweet, hint of lemon zest. It s JUST LIKE HOME! They are so kind and accommodating. The staff never let us go without service. Please tell them Cyndie says hi when you go!!! And if you just have to have Mexican, skip the Margarita and try this.

Great Italian restaurant!, very good service, lamb chops were tender - a little under seasoned but very good, the pollo amalfi was excellent, the gnocchi with bolognese was awesome, the gnocchi with Italian Gorgonzola with white cream reduction was spot on for me but my wife thought it was too pungent (it s Gorgonzola duh) The mixed bruschetta app was excellent, you may want to remove half the toppings and eat the excess with their yummy bread. The olive oil and reduced balsamic were very very good and on the house The Bellini and Aperol spritz were just like you d get in Italy -> underwhelming so go for the awesome selection of wines Update We ve eaten here several times now, and consistency is what I love about this place, the seafood meatballs are incredible and you can t get them anywhere else, the stuffed salmon is a party in your mouth with a delicate sauce that s memorable The lasagna bolognese made with spinach pasta is perfection Definitely a great place , now they have outdoor seating!!

Great little spot in Colleyville that we stumbled upon. The restaurant reminded me of another Italian spot we love from Napa with simple decor, very well lit and bright with all the tables not being on top of each other. I am not a fan of cramp and dark restaurants if you know what I mean. The service is great. Their staff is friendly and very attentive. It was not very busy during lunchtime for a Saturday afternoon which is a plus. They have a good selection of wines and the food was delicious. Great flavors and pasta cooked a perfect al dente. Just a small minus from my end because our clams dish was a bit overly salted. Aside from that, the pasta sauce is fantastic. Good seasoning and even better wiping the remaining with bread after. They also have a a good dessert menu because who doesn t like coffee and sweets after. The cake of the day is terrific. It s spongy and soft with the right amount of sweetness.

I love this place. They have an excellent vegan menu, the food for which is some of the best food Ive ever eaten (I recommend the ravioli and the gnocchi). The vegan raspberry cheesecake dessert is absolute perfection, even if youre not vegan (very fruity, summery, not heavy at all - even if youre full, you still have room for this dessert and its worth it). [Sorry my picture of it is already half-eaten.] The owners are so lovely. Last time I was there, one of the tables was celebrating a birthday (and they do a really cool dessert for birthdays) and youd think theyd see these celebrations so often, theyd think nothing of them anymore but they stopped what they were doing and just watched the celebration with smiles on their faces. I liked this place the first time I came, but I fell in love with it the second time. Come here once, and youll see how magical the food is and how lovely the owners are. No other Italian restaurant compares.

Last weekend was our 3rd and most likely our last visit to Loveria. We drive about 40 minutes to eat here. We sat without a waiter or water for about 10-15 minutes. The waiter seemed new and wasn t very helpful. After we finally got our bruschetta appetizer, which is the reason for the 3 stars, we realized everyone else had bread but us so we had to ask for it. Every entree we ve had has been okay at best. The bruschetta is delicious though. The music was also off putting. It was some EDM/techno music and instead of a romantic dinner, it felt like we were at a club. Definitely not the ambience we were wanting for date night. The dessert, panna cotta, was just okay as well.

Loveria continues to present a family atmosphere coupled with excellent quality, FRESH food, and unique Italian wines that you can not get at other restaurants that claim to be Italian. They do not over salt and spice the food like other Italian restaurants do and you can actually have a dining experience here, without loud music and TV s being the focus. Andrea actually knows the wines he serves right down to the terroir and will let you sample any of them. This is only a restaurant for people who appreciate the Italian culture so if you don t, please stick to the Olive Garden! Ciao.

Loveria is a real gem! Our experience was truly superb! Memorable and lovely in every sense. We were having a small celebration (just my hubby and myself) to pay homage to 6 years since my heart transplant and going strong. Greeted by our young waiter, Andre, we were treated exceptionally well from the moment we walked through the doors. Andre made sure we were well taken care of. The food was absolutely outstanding and the wonderful Italian Cabernet I had was everything I love in a cab. Dessert and espresso and cappuccino were a treat to end the meal. One of the owners came by our table to check on us and thank us for coming in. Our pleasure! The atmosphere was very nice, everything clean and polished and a distinct good vibe ran through it all and stood out. The menu and extensive wine list were so thoughtfully put together, it was difficult to choose. Before leaving, my husband and I decided that this is our new special place! The good: The pork chop was amazing! Tender, juicy and the light maple glaze was outstanding. The place is very nice, well decorated. Loved how it is decorated with empty wine bottles and boxes. The bad: The service! Super slow, terribly slow. We got a free tiramisu to go to compensate for the terrible service. And then, the other food items we ordered. The octopus was tough, undercooked, supposedly had some pineapple but couldnt find anywhere. They offer bread with olive oil and a balsamic jelly to start, but neither stood out. The jelly was just weird, have had better olive oils and bread was dry. Cacio e Pepe was authentic but lacking some flavor, not bad but not great either. Tiramisu, huge disappointment, served on a cup, instead of a plate; could have used more bread and coffe, too much mascarpone and needed more balance.

Ive been to Italy so I can tell you this is one of the most authentic Italian food you could ever ask for. I am a fan of their lemon chicken & Cappelli. Id highly recommended this Italian Cafe. Also, their service is amazing and everyone there are so friendly, nice, and polite. Id love them to open another restaurant in Frisco or Prosper area. We need some good authentic Italian food.

Molto bene! This caffé brings a true Italian experience to the middle of Colleyville. The food menu is listed in the traditional Italian style of antipasti, insalate, primi, secondi, and contorni (appetizers, salads, pasta oriented dishes, meat oriented dishes, and vegetable oriented dishes). You can choose one to two dishes per person based on your interest. For example, the last time I was here, my mother-in-law and I had two contorni to share, a primo for me, and a secondo for her. We were both stuffed in the end. The food is wonderful. Some dishes like their Brussels sprouts are simple, made from delicious ingredients that shine by themselves and just the right amount of preparation. Others, like the Pollo Amalfi or Fettuccine al Nero (pictured), are more complex but still masterfully done. The dessert menu is fantastic as well, with many amazing chocolate options and some non-chocolate favorites like pannacotta and tiramisú. And, of course, their wine list is huge, featuring a number of hard-to-find Italian varietals. Another nice thing with this restaurant is the relaxed atmosphere. This isnt an Italian restaurant with plush red carpet and a piano player. Come dressed in your smart casual attire, bring your family or friends for some lively conversation, and be prepared to enjoy the real star of the show: the food. As it should be. Salute!

Excellent experience. This isnt your typical Italian restaurant with fifty variations of spaghetti. Their menu has a selection of Italian specialties. Dinner dishes are ample but not ginormous like so many places these days. The restaurant was able to spice up my husband dish and provide a lunch size portion for my 8 year old who ordered the ragu. However, the lunch portion was a mistake on our part as she inhaled her ragu and immediately asked if she could order another and when we could come back. My 10 year old preferred to order off of the childrens menu and said it was some of the best pasta she has eaten. Great wine selection. Tiramisu wasnt my favorite (seemed thrown together vice your traditional dish with espresso soaked lady fingers), but the affogato was delish! We will definitely be back.

After such a fantastic dining experience I feel obligated to leave the best possible review. From the moment we walked up, we knew we were in for a treat. The staff were kind, friendly and helpful. There was a fun atmosphere in the air. We split the eggplant appetizer and veal entree. Both dishes were phenomenal. I still cannot get over how delightful the sauce on the veal was. Im not going to try and remember what the actual spelling was, but for dessert we split the chocolate salami. Rolled like a tube of salami, it is actually a creamy, almost fudge like chocolate with bits of almond and cookie that is chilled and sliced. Overall, an amazing evening and we hope to return soon!

This restaurant was a bit of a drive from our home in Coppell, but they offered take out and we won t be dining in for the near future so we made the trek. My husband had the sausage and peppers; my son had the spaghetti and meatballs. Both enjoyed their meals. But the reason we ordered from this restaurant is because they offer a separate vegan menu which is difficult to find at an Italian restaurant. And since I have also eliminated gluten, corn, and soy from my diet for health reasons, my choices are non-existent or extremely limited at most restaurants. So I was very excited to see three options I could order! I tried a half order of vegan gnocchi and zucchini spaghetti. The gnocchi was good and the spaghetti was so flavorful! I am so happy that vegan and gluten free are clearly marked on their menu. Looking forward to trying the Melanzane next!!!
