We are a family-owned Vietnamese restaurant offering things such as Vietnamese eggrolls (Chả Giò), fresh spring rolls (Gỏi Cuốn), noodle soup (Phở), vermicelli and rice (Cơm & Bún), and much more! As immigrants from Vietnam, we found ourselves at home with hundreds of thousands of other Vietnamese and Asian Americans in Houston, TX. Like many other immigrants, we’re here to chase the American dream by pulling from our roots. We love to share our culture with others through our appetizing food made from our own family recipes.

Will tow your car immediately even if it s early in the morning and they haven t opened yet Thanks for the quick response, there has to be something that can be done, if a business is not open, what s the harm in parking for 5 minutes. Paying $350 for 5 minutes is just cruel. If your business doesn t get decide what times cars can park at your parking lot, sounds like new laws based on common sense are needed.

As a newbie to TAMU, I have decided to come to this place more frequently. I tried their pho and I really like it. But still there is something they can improve on, in my personal opinion. First, compared to the authentic pho, their broth tastes sweeter, which I can somewhat understand because of localization. Second, I think their noodles/pho are either overcooked or not drained through cold water. The noodles/pho are a bit too sticky and gooey. This can be easily avoided by draining them through running cold water quickly for about 5 seconds after they are taken out of the hot water. This technique honestly is very basic in Asian noodle cuisines. Nevertheless, this place is somewhere I will hit more in the future. I will try more dishes there.

And he started yelling saying dONT threatan me!!! Dont you threaten me and I could hardly get a word out he was yelling ... I said I gave an analogy and he hung up on my face. This place has nasty roaches and bugs. Do not eat here.

My wife and i were shocked as many Asians ate there when we were there as did. This was the most Americanized Vietnamese food Ive ever had. The service was good and the place was nice for a pho place. The food looked nice and everything but the flavors were nothing like Ive ever experienced at a Vietnamese restaurant. Very plain and American. I guess it shows that there is just no really authentic Vietnamese food in the area.

Service is fast and I am always a fan of places where you pay first so you can eat and go quickly. The pho is alright and the menu has some other unique items like the steak and eggs. The baos are not bad but they feel overpriced. The fresh spring rolls have are extremely dry and I would not recommend ever getting them. Overall, its not a bad Vietnamese restaurant especially when you dont have a lot of options in college stations.

Been ording online for this the resturant for year since 2020 when they were in need of business cause of covid Ive orders the same things every order multiple times a months for over 4 years and since the. Ive notice the decrease in quantity of food Ive been getting that Im paying extra for so Ive been getting 2 dollar refunds for the issues of not getting the quantity Ive been getting and its happen multiple time me ordering as much as I do and same order I would know and since then Ive been banned from ordering there due to them decreaseimg my quainty at times and me actually speaking up about it . Its crazy to me that Ive spend hundreds a month on this place to get treated like that when I guarantee no one orders pho as much as I do its crazy your rather lose hundreds a month from 4 to 6 bucks a month cause you cant fulfil your orders correctly I had people Ive sent Your way and there never coming back cause of how you treated me and the situation good thing I found a good pho place I can go to now and treats me well and values business and good customer who just want what they pay for. Dont go on a commercial and beg for help years ago and then treat them like this when they do try to be there for local businesses

Great food, only Pad Thai in College Station that is worth getting. Good Bao Buns but they charge EXTRA for choosing to-go as an option instead of dining in. There is still an automatic tip applied to why does me taking up less space and effort cost me more? Food is good and the parking is limited but the charge is weird and off-putting.

Overall a great eating experience. The good was delicious and freshly made. I wish the pho had a slightly deeper flavor and the vermicelli had a stronger flavor profile. Helping seemed nicely portioned for the price. The cashiers, servers of food and person cleaning up the table seemed attentive and friendly. The table had full siracha and hoisin bottles which is really nice. The bathrooms were down a very narrow hallway and small (1 person at a time) Parking lot is small.., about 10 slots so parking behind cars is common. I d recommend and would return.

Overrated and overpriced for what it is. They capitalize on the location. I remember when they were about to close for good during COVID and the owners published an emotional video on social media to request people to support their business and try their food. That s when I started going to this place every week instead of once every few month. However, as important as it is to have a Vietnamese restaurant in College Station, I believe it is also important to have a restaurant that serves good food at good prices, which this place simply fails to do. Over the years, the quality and quantity of the food has deteriorated. Not recommended. Instead, go a few extra blocks and try the Filipino restaurant (RR Pinoy) which is really authentic, well priced, and makes delicious food.

The only negative about this place is the parking. It s kind of a nightmare. Parking is very limited and because it s so popular people will park behind you. When you re trying to get out be mindful of the hundreds of college students walking/biking/skating. Now onto the restaurant. You order at the counter and they bring food out to you. I went in a large group so it was a bit chaotic and they didn t seem to know what went where BUT it eventually all got worked out. It was very busy because we went during the lunch hour. The food was extremely yummy. I had the rice/tofu. Kiddos had a variety of different things and they all enjoyed them. Would go again.

Ive been here a couple times now and the bowls seem to be the way to go. They pack so much food in there that youd better be hungry when you walk in (like I am). I got the pho spicy soup bowl. It was so hot I had to step away and blow my nose in the restroom because it was getting to me. I eat A LOT of spicey foods, so it really surprised me in a good way. I ate the whole thing and it didnt even jack up my stomach. Id like to try some of their other items that arent soup but its just too delicious. Ill be back for sure. I believe the bowl was $15 which is a bit high for lunch so ill need to hustle and bussle some greens before I make it back over here. Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options on this menu. I have been taking my students and mentees here for one on one lunches, at least once per week, if not twice, since the start of semester. And I wanted to like it ( I really did) because its convenient, fast service and somewhat healthy... but my experience today was awful. So then I thought, why am I doing this??? Today I ordered the lemon grass pork vermicelli bowl, and the chunks of pork(?), were ALL FAT! And because last week I ordered the Pad Thai, and it was also less than satisfactory...noodles in ketchup sauce with absolutely no resemblance to the amazing Thai dish (but I settled and said nothing), today I decided to complain. Well... they looked at me, when I complained, like...how dare she! And then I had to wait for a manager to acknowledge my complaint and request for something else... and then 20 minutes later, when my student had finished their meal, my replacement meal arrived. It was chicken pho. So tell me... what other pho soup place do you know that serves, sliced chicken luncheon meat as a chicken in pho soup? Enough! I will take my $34 per visit somewhere else! Thanks but no thanks.

Exquisitely delicious Vietnamese fare, definitely as good as the best restaurants in Houston and in the big, pretentious cities of the Left Coast. Huzzah!

The only negative thing I have to say about this place after my first visit is that there is very little parking, so keep that in mind when you come here. I had the Spicy Noodle Soup, which come with a side bowl of beans sprouts, jalapeno slices and a lime wedge. The soup itself has thick noodles, thinly sliced beef, cilantro, green onion, red cabbage and onion. I thought the soup was very good, Id definitely come back. The tables have chopsticks, spoons and forks on them and there is a station where you can get chili sauce, chili oil and other condiments also.

Nice place, not a cafe in European sense, good atmosphere, prices and kitchen. Could be a bit cleaner. I recommend this place.

Nam Cafe is good for pho, Bahn mi, and other Vietnamese dishes. Definitely on our go-to list in BCS. I prefer the original north location for its ambiance. One thing is the rice noodles feel plasticky; could use an upgrade.

Smell of recent fire in the back building still lingers I side when youre eating. Not sure why they never fixed the problem or did the proper reconstruction. Unhealthy atmosphere and food handling as usual. Save your receipt for future stomach problems
