Lovely little Thai place. Atmosphere is what youd expect in a strip mall with floor to ceiling front window wall, comfortable and simply decorated. Food was very good. However not very spicy according to my dinner date. Well be visiting again to try other dishes.

I like this place! The ladies who run it are sweethearts who truly appreciate their customers. Their food is wonderful! I have a lot of restaurants to pick from in Bryan/ C.S. And when I want Thai or Oriental I always find myself here. I like the egg rolls the soup with lime and coconut milk their Thai Tea the clean floors and tables the genuine smiles of the employees. I have eaten there over 20 times and the consistency and flavor has not gotten old for me. Try it you will want to write a great review immediately!

Wow! We love this place. Great food and customer service. We keep bringing friends here. Everyone loves it. I like the Pad Kee Mao and Pad Cashew Nut the best (with chicken and no bell peppers and spiced level 4). Their calamari appetizer is very good. Cant wait to go again and maybe try something new.

This restaurant was quite interesting with gender discrimination. We were two women and were seated at a very tiny table, even though there were plenty of large tables available. When we asked to move to a bigger table, the server even asked, Are you planning to order a lot today? LoL. Meanwhile, other tables with just two people mostly men and women together were directly seated at large tables without any issue. It felt like clear gender discrimination. I really hope it wasn t a mix of gender and racial discrimination which even made us feel really bad.

We were visiting from out of town and wanted Thai food. I searched for Thai Restaurants in the area and Siam Iyara Thai was the 1st one that popped up. So glad we decided to give it a try! Delicious Thai Cuisine that was served piping hot. We had the Pad Thai with chicken for our entree and chicken satay for an appetizer. Service was great as well! Well definitely be back for more great Thai food when were in College Station!

This is more of upscale Americanized thai restaurant. Overall my experience is ok restaurant. Their spice levels are very low. I ordered max lvl 5 but was very mild, also their Tom Yum didn t taste like that and was very sour. Their basil fried rice had any basil in it. For the price, I felt it was not worth it and very few vegetarian options.

All of the food was delicious except for the soup which was too fishy (maybe too much fish sauce?). They also charged for a bowl of extra rice. The staff were friendly and attentive and the place was really nice. They have fancy dishes. We will definitely come back to try their other dishes.

Been to this restaurant 8 times as some of the dishes are good. Recently their taste getting different, not sure if they changed the chef/cook. Yesterday we had chicken sate which was not Thailand style at all. Thin sliced breast meat on pan to grill and peanut sauce was horrible. Not worth paying $7.99 for this dish. If you want to do Authentic Thailand dishes, then please do it properly & professionally, don t cook just for the sake of business which you wont be long in this business with this mentality words of mouth goes around remember that. I hope the owner takes this matter seriously and does the right thing. We will be back. Chef G

The atmosphere was calming and the music soothing due to the holiday season. I started with the Pad Kee Mao with chicken at the medium spicy level. I have had authentic Thai in larger cities and was happy to see that we finally have an authentic Thai restaurant in College Station. The chicken was tender and delicious with a savory flavor typical of the aromatic spice. Since I prefer spicy food I will definitely come back. Upon return I would like to try the highly recommended Massaman curry.

Food tastes bland, pad thai was so bad I was surprised. I have eaten pad thai about 300 times at least, Its my favorite thai dish. The pad see ew doesnt even use real chinese brocolli, they use regular brocolli but charged $14 which was way over priced for fake pad see ew. Customer service was great so I gave it 2 stars total, if service was bad this would have easily been a 1 star thai restaurant based on taste alone.

First impressions matter. Unfortunately, the owners of Siam Iyara Thai Restaurant skim on customer comfort, with air conditioner temperature settings at what felt like tropical temps. With regard to food, everything was presented well and tasted pretty good. I ordered an appetizer of fried spring rolls with fish sauce, a cup of Tom Yum soup, and Beef Pad Thai. The fried spring rolls were decent and would feed two easily. The amount of lettuce and fish sauce with the spring rolls were insufficient, but I managed. The Tom Yum soup was delicious and had lots of veggies & chicken. And for a small, the size was generous. The biggest disappointment was the Pad Thai, even though the dish tasted quite good. However, the amount of beef was woefully inadequate. Despite being spiced just right - I chose spicy, which was perfect for a Cajun like me - the lack of sufficient slices of beef was another indication this restaurant is stingy and doesnt have the customers interests at heart. It may be that the profit margins are too thin, but from a customers perspective, a good restaurant provides a great atmosphere, great food and great service at a decent price. This restaurant provides decent, authentic Thai dishes, but it doesnt quite measure up. If the restaurant had been cool, I might have had a different experience. I wouldnt write off this place. The food is decent. But they have a lot of work to do to put customers first...

I got the Pad Kee Mao straight up the first time and while it had good flavor it wasn t nearly spicy enough. We had been wanting to try this place, but had been struggling with the weird hours. Honestly, the food was terrible. We picked our order up to go. Restaurant and staff seemed nice enough. We LOVE Thai food, and this was just awful. The portions were tiny, and especially with the high price, we expected more. There was very little meat in the dishes and even the sides of rice were small. We got an order of fried spring rolls. It was 2 rolls cut into 6 pieces. Cutting them down made them absorb more grease, so when you bit into them, the only thing you tasted was grease. The food was equally bland. No spice or even pepper would have gone a long way. I had the Pad Pepper Steak, that didn t have any pepper in it. The meat had been boiled so long it just tasted like salty water. It didn t even have a meat taste to it anymore. It was bad enough it wasn t even worth the calories to keep eating it, and we definitely won t be saving it for later.

Wonderful service and delicious food! We ordered the spring rolls, pad see ew, pad woon sen, red curry, and green curry (mild, with tofu). All were so good! I was especially impressed by the flavor of the red curry and the amount of veggies in all the dishes. Everything was super fresh, still warm (even hot) when we got home with it half an hour later, and very flavorful. A little spicy for our littlest children (8 months and 2 years) but perfect for the adults and our 4 year old (the other two loved the spring rolls). Will definitely be back!

I ordered a pad Thai and a mango sticky rice for the lunch menu. The pad Thai was a good portion especially for the lunch special. You can tell the pad Thai was more authentic than some of the other restaurants in town. The other pad thai in town are too wet and you can tell they but prepackaged sauce. You get a nice hint of fish sauce in this pad thai here. It wasn t too heavy. The mango sticky rice was good. I loved the presentation. Wasn t too much coconut sauce. I wish the rice portion was a bit more but otherwise great visit. Would visit again.
