The service and atmosphere were great, the meat was not so great. The Picanha with sea salt had a liver taste, the Picanha with garlic sauce was tough and chewy, and the filet mignon tasted like something went wrong with the aging process.

We celebrated my beloved wifes birthday and we went to this Casa do Brasilian restaurant. The truth was that it was a very pleasant experience, the taste of the meat was tasty as it should be in Texas. The bar with the tasty salads was magnificent. But for us the best thing was the service. in our 2 languages Spanish and English. I hope we found our party venue for our Family. Thank you and Blessings.

The experience is of the charts excellent. Before this meal experience, my son and I LOVED the Taste Of Texas. Now they will have to take second place. The variety of perfection in the meat selections was next level amazing for taste and timely arrival. We were forced to flip our cards to take a break a couple times. The friendly staff were very attentive and personable. We will definitely be back many times.

I usually love Casa do Brasil, and my fiancé and I go there regularly because when their food is good, it s really good. However, we ve had two really disappointing experiences lately. The first time, I found hair in my food, and all I got was a simple sorry with no effort to make things right. Despite this, we decided to give them another chance. Unfortunately, the second time was even worse I left with food poisoning from a questionable piece of meat. When we called to report it, the hostess actually laughed at us and said we d be contacted by a manager. We never were. I m torn because we do enjoy their food when everything goes well, but these recent experiences have left a bad taste in our mouths literally and figuratively. We ll probably give them another shot, but they really need to step up their quality control and customer service. Update: the manager called and provided two free meals to me and my fiancé to make up for the experience. The food was good and clearly more done than before. I hope that the examples that by the higher management will trickle down throughout all the customer service staff.

Was at a meeting in College Station and the host offered to take our group to lunch at a Brazilian steakhouse called Casa do Brasil. Once at the location, I entered the establishment and was impressed with the salad bar and ambiance. The gauchos were impeccably dressed and the food was excellent. I only snapped a couple of photos near the end of the dining experience so visit Casa do Brasil to enjoy the food and service received. Vegetarian options: The salad and soup bar had delicious vegetarian options

We visited once again for my husband s birthday, and were seated quickly. The three wait staff we had were excellent overall (Omar, a young woman and a man whose names I wish I could remember, sorry!): quick to top up water, and realised after a while that there was so much ice in our drinks we couldn t sip without being hit in the face with ice. Omar did a great job ensuring the dessert was prepared as per my husband s preference, which we really appreciated. I found some of the meat servers too pushy, already cutting meat and at one point putting it the my plate before asking if you wanted it, despite us saying no to specific meats each time. It was a little annoying, and not something I ve noticed before. We had the lamb and filet mignon. The lamb ribs were, unfortunately, consistently overcooked despite requesting them as rare as possible. This was an issue across three services of the ribs, all with that request, and each was more well done than the last. The lamb sirloin was tough. The filet mignon was excellent, after the first serving which was overcooked - it melted in the mouth like butter, as it should be and was very tasty. Worth going just for this. We were enjoying a quiet lunch until two quite loud women were sat next to us, despite other tables further away being open, and I think it would have been prudent to seat them in a noisier part of the dining area. It ruined the environment, and we couldn t talk as they were so loud we couldn t hear each other due to their volume and the extreme proximity of their table. Their conversation was quite obnoxious, and it really did harm the ambience overall - a raised eyebrow and smile from by another diner when they left suggested we were not the only people disrupted by them and pleased when they left. Part of managing a dining experience is intelligent profiling and placement of guests, and it was disappointing this happened on this occasion. We left soon after this, as it really killed our conversation. I would love to have a Hannukah (or Shabbos) meal here in December/early January, I do wonder if doing a kosher night would work - especially as it would mean the food is halal too eg Kosher de Brazil in Hallandale Beach. Dietary restrictions: No Kosher options as far as we could tell

I have always had great experiences when dining at Casa do Brasil. Today I enjoyed lunch with friends and coworkers. We had the best server, Omar, who was very patient, kind, professional, knowledgeable and had a fun sense of humor! He attended to us very well, and made our experience amazing! My husband and I went here to celebrate our 7th wedding anniversary. Neither one of us have experienced Brazilian food; nor have we been to a fine dining restaurant. The host seated us (pulling out and in my chair for me ) and we were immediately served, helped and treated like valued customers. I had one glass of champagne and it was simply delightful, light and bubbly. The food was very well seasoned and cooked to please. The only bad experience for us was the gnats flying around my glass of champagne and over our heads. For desert; my husband and I tried the creme Brule (neither one of us have ever had it before), HOWEVER; we did not care for the texture of the top (it was almost as if chewing on shards of glass). Over all; the gorgeous atmosphere, impeccable service, delicious meats, salads and drinks, made us decide to return again in the future. I would give this restaurant a 4 out of 5 stars due to the gnats.

It was our first time coming here and it can be a little overwhelming. There are a lot of food choices on the salad bar and soup bar. Be careful with the salad bar as its way too easy to fill up on here. I highly recommend focusing on the meat that the servers will bring to your table. Its a lot of meat at a fast pace. It is okay to flip your token over to take a break from the meat. Different cuts of beef, lamb, shrimp, and multiple forms of chicken are all served. The atmosphere is fun and fast paced. And the servers are friendly.

I eat here a lot. Almost once a week for lunch. One thing I ve noticed after eating today is that when there are a lot of people here the servers pay very little attention to smaller parties. I was sitting alone and ordered the full experience and I got a total of 6 meats brought to me. A few times I would literally watch them walk by with exactly what I wanted and had to have my server chase them down to get it. I understand that bigger parties mean bigger tips but I come here once a week and I think loyalty should also be rewarded with good service. The GM could see how upset I was about this and came over to try and speak to me about it but there were so many people there and around me that I didn t want to ruin the experience for someone else. I hope this is read and we can find a way to ensure this gets fixed. This isn t the first time it s happened but it s starting to get frustrating. When I order the full experience that means I want all cuts. I should have to beg for them to stop by my table.

Weve been going to Casa do Brazil for about 6 years now when we can afford it. Always have had a great experience. This time, our experience was amazing. David and Caesar waited on us, and we never have felt more taken care of. It was super busy at the beginning of our visit, yet they made sure my wife and two of our kids were good on everything. When it died down a bit, David even took a quick breather to chat. Its clear that CdB hires some quality people. So anyway - pricy - but good food, great people...Highly Recommend. Kid-friendliness: Our kids have always had a great time and our daughter said after this visit that it was so fun. David could have played a part in that because he spoke to them on their level and even cracked a few jokes that made them laugh.

Their website clearly states there is no Food and Beverage minimum to rent the room. When I called I was going to bring lots of guests for an event but Missy informed me the minimum was $1,600. Omar, Jarvis, Noah, & Cameron make for exceptional management and some of the best experience weve ever had. The happy hour cannot be beat and the back cigar lounge is our go-to for no kids get togethers. The drink selection is the best in SoCo and the prime beef is the best in town. This would be 6 stars if Google would let me. You know its a great place when 1600 reviewers give it a 4.8 (especially given this is a more expensive restaurant, a higher standard to achieve).

My girlfriend and I dined here the other night for our anniversary. We had a wonderful experience. The food was superb and one of the waiters, Mateo, made our extra night special. We went for our 54th anniversary. I have never been here before and checked it out on the internet. On the internet it said the Tuesday couple night was $130, at the restaurant they said it was $139. Exceptionally great service. $61 plus tax and tip gets you literally some of the best cuts of meat Ive ever had in this area. Every time I come, I make sure to load up on plenty of steak, picanhas, and beef ribs. The waiting staff are also very friendly and they very proactively make sure to check on you if you need extra pao de queijo or the other palate cleansers. Furthermore, I ordered a passionfruit cocktail, which I did not like, and they were very quick to refund that and get me a Brazilian lemonade, which is very refreshing and is refilled for free. Needless to say, this is one of the best fine dining restaurants east of Hill Country, and everytime I leave here, I end up like Man Ray in that one spongebob episode where he and plankton try stealing the krabby patty formula and he just keeps eating the krabby patties

I love this place! The food is excellent as is the service. Expensive, but totally worth it. Tried the grilled shrimp today and it was amazing. Might be my favorite 6 Oz of protein to add to the salad bar for a weekday lunch. Vegetarian options: The salad bar is huge and has loads of non-meat selections. Especially if you eat seafood. But even if you dont they always have lots of different types of salads, grilled vegetables, and hummus with carrots, cucumbers, and bell peppers.

Go hungry! This place is a carnivors dream. Delicious meats. The salad bar is spectacular. You could be very satisfied with just that. Various cheeses, salads, marinated mushrooms, everything I tried was delicious. Be careful not to fill up at the salad bar because the best is yet to come. The meats are delivered to your table. Beef, pork, chicken, and lamb arrive on skewers. You can choose how you like yours cooked and it is sliced onto your plate. The beef cuts were melt in your mouth good. The bacon wrapped chicken was the best Ive ever had, with the bacon and chicken both cooked perfectly. There was also a grilled cheese with a drizzle of honey that was indescribably delicious. And a grilled pineapple that I loved. I definitely recommend you try everything. The only problem I had was I was too full for desert. If the desert is half as good as everything else, its great, too. Dietary restrictions: Two members of our party had gluten sensitivity. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful with dietary restrictions.

The food was overpriced, overcooked, and the service was lacking in transparency. This was our first (and only) visit and we were unfamiliar with the menu. The waiter told us only about the various plans . Later, we asked if there was an a la carte menu at which point he produced one. The steaks we ordered medium rare on the rare side came solidly medium and had to be recooked. Overall, not impressed. The price was also very high.

Came in for a birthday dinner, food was good, but the service was impeccable. Hands down the most attentive service I ve ever received, with multiple servers not only checking to make sure everything was good, but also seeing if our table had any requests of items that we particularly wanted. The flambéed cheesecake was an awesome way to round out an excellent meal! Will definitely be returning!

Husband and I went for the very first time last night. The salad bar was phenomenal, but that was about it. The first piece of meat we tried was not tender and had no flavor. It was like jerky. The rest of the meats were just OKAY and didnt make us say oh my gosh this is amazing the lamb tasted terrible and we skipped dessert because we were so disappointed. Definitely not worth the price we paid.

The salad bar isnt a bar, its an oval with no clear entry or exit point. Confusing and a poor experience for customers. Im sure its no big deal when it isnt very busy but that was not the case when I visited. The food was good, but Ive had better at other churascarias. Did not feel like a $200 experience for 3 of us to eat.

A bit underwhelmed by the full experience . We kept wondering where the 15 cuts of meat were. Bet I only saw about a half dozen varieties. The meat servers were very much hurried - maybe because of not having enough meat to go around with? Those of you carnivores out there who havent yet tried the Brasilian steakhouse dining experience... I highly recommend it, & say with confidence that you will not be disappointed. To the contrary, I believe you will be impressed; with all things considered. This is a great place. Very upscale, cultural, & just damn good. Perfect for any special occasion. Took my Mom & Mrs. this year for Mothers Day, & last week had our Anniversary dinner there... Love it! 5 stars! Just back recently, this time for a Valentines day dinner... This place still is still firing on ALL cylinders & is as good as ever! It was a great meal, & a great experience all around! The food was excellent & so was the staff! I hate to be this guy. I really do. But after waiting 30 minutes for just waters and the appetizer bread, while every table around us has gotten 2 rounds in the same time frame, I have no choice. My fiancé and I come here every year for the past 3 years and never had experienced such terrible service. When asking our server for a manager to make him aware of the situation, he told us well he s busy, we all are. And I completely understand. But the amount of auxiliary staff I saw should have at least delivered our waters. Not to mention, we made the reservation almost 1 month prior. Not sure if we will continue the Valentine s Day tradition next year, considering we didn t even eat our meal.

Hands down my favorite restaurant in town. Extremely Delicious food in abundance! (We normally fast before going there). Every visit has been a wonderful experience. The salad bar is incredible. But the full experience is the one to go for. Expect to pay more than you would at any other restaurant; because of that , we normally go on really special occasions. Awful food. I have been to many Brazilian steak houses and they aren t this bad. No salt on the steaks?. The smoked salmon on the bar was probably the grossest thing I ve eatin in a while. More than likely spoiled. The garlic mash was gross. I liked the bacon from the bar , good job on that bread was good.. but man, why is the chicken out performing the beef? My father liked the fried bananas but it was garbage food other than that use salt.. geezzz

My family and I are regular customers of Casa do Brasil in College Station, and always the food and service have been really good. We have always considered that Casa do Brasil is a serious and respectfully business. That is why we felt comfortable buying gift cards for our friends during December 2023. During that time you had the Bonus Card offer and we were benefited by this offer getting five $25 bonus cards. Today (Sunday February 4th) we went to have lunch at your restaurant and when we wanted to pay with those bonus cards they told us that it was not valid to use them all to pay the receipt. The manager justified that decision by referring to the note at the back of the card No other promotion can be combined with this offer, and it is not valid on holidays . This quote is misleading and it didn t apply to our case as we were not using other promotion (we were paying the full retail price). For us, this is an unacceptable conduct with loyal clients and we have decided to take our business somewhere else.
