Nice little restaurant away from the hustle. Interior outshines the exterior. Bar seating is minimal. The side salad portion was perfect while the entree was a little bland. More salt seasoning needed. Bar staff is great and decent wine selection.

We always have a great experience here. The steak and portobello dish was amazing and so tender. The saltimbocca alla romana was also amazing, great flavor, and so tender. The live music is always such a nice touch! Tonight it was a saxophonist and guitarist! They were amazing and deserved all the tips. Finally, our waitress, Peyton, was so kind, attentive, and personable! She had great recommendations and brought everything out in a timely manner. It s always a plus when our waitress is so personable! Thanks for a great third visit! We will be back.

We came here on a Sunday night and the place was hopping with a live band. The atmosphere inside is really unique and fun, like an outdoor patio but yet it is inside. I had the arrabiata with the bacon sauce and my son had the bolongnese farfala pasta. Everything was excellent and the band playing, good drinks, and friendly service made for a great experience. Edi: August 2024, had a great dinner here again but they need to do something about the menu. Im in my 40s with good eyes (no glasses) but the menu is unreadable. Looking around the restaurant there were so many people with their phone flashlights on trying to read the menu. Please fix this!

First of all, the atmosphere is beautiful and it felt I was taken to the country side of Italy. From the decor, to the ambiance, the atmosphere would be ideal for an anniversary and date. Overall, the service was not very personable. There were a couple of tables at the time while we at down. We ordered the Chef Salad and Shrimp Carbonara (lunch portion). However, the carbonara came with chicken instead which was not a huge deal. The salad was extremely watery. Possibly from the dressing or wilted lettuce and spring mix. The carbonara lacked any seasoning, barely any bacon bits in it. Overall, an average experience and in our opinion, the pricing of the menu items is not up to par with the level of service and quality of food.

I ve lived in the bcs area for 11yrs and I am just now about to move here in a few days. I finally decided to try Luigi s after never going. I came directly after work today at 6:30pm, and was greeted in a very timely manner. I informed the hostess I d be placing a to go order. The waitress came out and I asked for her recommendation. I had the Gnocchi in a pesto herb sauce with chicken. It was absolutely amazing. I m a bit saddened that I did not give them a try sooner. The gnocchi is soft while maintaining its form. The pesto herb sauce is very flavourful as well. I will definitely make it a point to come back to the area to try more of the menu.

Family of 4 of us went there at 6pm. The food was really ordinary. It was very bland and did not have any authenticity. The cocktail drinks were not good. The tables were plastic tables covered with table cloth. We were not served with bread ( usual thing in Italian restaurants) when we arrived, whereas the table next to us was. Will not recommend this place if you are looking for good food. The service was very good, though.

I thought from the quality of the food this was a chain restaurant. Horrible experience from start to finish. 1st waited 30minutes to be seated at our table that was reserved by my daughters boyfriend mother. Graduation gift from his family A&M-2024. Special reservations were made by them for a party 18-20 We showed up with 11 last minute adjustments and other engagements. This special reservation required the party of 20 to spend $500 adjusted for our party of 11 to $350. I didn t want to impose an expense on a family I ve never met, much less a $350-500 bill. My plan, have a quick salad lemonade and thank them for the gesture. 1. I was made to spend $350.00 wine to go bottles to meet the bill minimum. $.9.99 walmart wine being sold for $50 2. Stuff ravioli tasted like it was frozen then deep fried immediately while frozen. Not freshly made. Plus some had no cheese 3.Calamari gummy and cold over fried 4. Soups very thick, thought it was marinara sauce. 5. Sodas needed to be replace several times due to no carbonation. Olive garden has better authentic italian cuisine than this place. Nothing was authentic or tasty. Everything was bought from a food vendor for mass service. Many issues with the quality of our food. Our waitress was good and accommodating. Now, I understand why many long time restaurants have folded and closed. This place definitely push service and accommodation aside to meet its sales quota. I definitely will push this along with our network of friends and business partners to stay away from this place. My condolences to the residents of this area if this is what you consider authentic Italian cuisine. At the end I paid the $450 bill for the frozen food meal

This was such an underwhelming experience, and the food was so overpriced. You may as well go eat at Olive Garden. Youll at least get what you pay for. The duck breast was tiny, overcooked, and dry. The scalloped potatoes were undercooked, and bruised potatoes were used. The veal was pretty good, and the polenta wasnt bad, either, but it definitely was not worth the price. And then there were the chefs vegetables... Broccoli and carrots? Seriously? With prices like these, they ought to be able to afford more of an assortment that actually pairs with each dish. What a lackadaisical choice of vegetables. Then there was the Tiramisu. Covered in powdered sugar which made it overly sweet, and it had way too much cream icing, with hardly any espresso flavor. Really just an overall dull experience for such a hefty bill. Not to mention the service was milquetoast as hell. He was nice, but his demeanor was subpar for the price of the dining experience. Then, right before we left, the live music started up... And it was some dude mumbling country music over some poorly played guitar. We couldnt wait to get out of there.

Food was just so so. I got a margarita pizza and ceasar salad. The salad wasnt worth the $12. Not much lettuce to it and the dressing was very watery and had a lemon taste to it. I was expecting something creamy. As for pizza.....about time I found a place that uses fresh mozzarella BUT the rest of the pizza was just meh. The crust was thinner than I was expecting and had a pepper flavor to it. Besides the cheese, there wasnt much other than tomatos which seemed like canned stewed tomatoes. The basil was a good amount so that helped but I ended up just eating the cheese and nothing else after 2 pieces. Maybe their other dishes are worth it. Im here for business so might try it again.

I drive through Starbucks regularly and have seen this restaurant as I sit waiting for my coffee and Ive wanted to try it. Today I had the opportunity to take a moment away from caring for my father next door at Scott and White hospital to have lunch with my friend Michelle here. I ordered the tuna and the waiter asked how I would like it cooked, he recommended medium rare which I agreed with. Unfortunately when it arrived it was very dry and overcooked. The orzo was tasteless and really required a huge amount of herbs and spices in order to make it palatable. I asked for chili flake but unfortunately it never arrived. Based on this one trip in I cannot honestly recommend this restaurant to anybody but it was really nice to be able to catch up with my friend Michelle whose mom is also in the hospital! I did order and thoroughly enjoyed the calamari. That is the only dish at this point that I can recommend.

A night filled with disappointment. We came in with a party of 13 unannounced with no reservation. I expected to be turned away, we were accepted with open arms and sat at two separate tables. Perfect, a place for the children and a place for the adults. We ordered appetizers. They were all fine, albeit sub-par with places like 1860 in town I expected better calamari. Our waitress took our orders and asked us early if we d prefer the children ordered first. They did and their food came out about the time the appetizers came, however some of them were incorrect and weren t corrected till late in the evening when all the other meals had been finished. The adults ordered and eagerly awaited their meals. Only to be met with a disappointing array. Two of the orders came back completely incorrect a filet mignon in place of an ahi tuna steak. I would usually prefer the fillet however this evening I wanted the tuna I requested the meal I actually ordered and my sister took the filet. It was cooked medium rare, however poorly seasoned and it tasted as if the grill marks weren t from the marks of the grill itself but from leftover filth upon the grill, the mash it came with was completely unseasoned and seemed as if it came from a bag(y all know the one). Another meal had come out incorrectly and a new was requested. My brothers spaghetti and meatballs tasted as if the meatballs had come from a bag and were frozen. By the time everyone was finished with their meals the tuna steak had still not arrived and the replacement pasta meal for my sister that had come out incorrectly never arrived. Having been their an hour or so by the time our food arrived we opted to cancel our orders now that we were nearly two hours in and pay so we could get home. When a cancellation was requested the server gave an attitude and said she d have to ok that with a manager. The manager came to the table expressing that we had had some issues with our night and we explained the dilemma he was respectful and took the items we had not received off of our tab. Our waitress came and attempted to properly split the order but had no idea how to do it and was constantly mistaking whose items went where. So we opted to just split it. Then another 30minutes later of not seeing our waitress we finally decided to get up and find a way to pay so we could leave. After payment and two of us never actually receiving our food in timely manner the greatest experience of the night was leaving this establishment.

Trash, that s all I can say about my experience tonight. Three of the five adults who actually ordered dinner didn t receive their right order or did not receive their meal AT ALL. The meals that did come out were not correct or they were missing items. The kids meals came out one was missing items and one wrong completely. When the issues were brought up it was hinted that it was our fault and in order to have the items WE STILL did not have taken off the ticket we had to speak with the manager, we didn t even state anything regarding not having any refills on waters and all the issues we were having we just wanted the food we did not have canceled and taken off the bill. The manager was rude and dismissive but canceled the items we didn t receive. After all said and done we asked to pay it took forever and we had to go find the waiters. We were charged 20% for tip due to a large party, when over half the party did not receive the correct order or food at all.

We came to Luigi s from next door at azure, we had a large party- 5 kids and 6 adults- and unfortunately azure couldn t handle our party. Luigi s was wonderful in making sure we were seated and able to receive dinner. We were sat apart, which was okay. So we had 2 tables with two parties. The restaurant was mid level, but by the end of our supper they were packed. We only had one server in the entire section however- and she was really busy. We were missing quite a few items, a few adults dinners- but the kids food came out relatively quickly! Which was amazing. Unfortunately even the kids items were wrong or missing things. The downside was that the missing items never really came for the kids, when they did/ the kids were finished. Three adults were missing their food or were wrong when they came out, 2 kids had the wrong or missing items, and eventually after two hours the kids were done eating and we really needed to get going. We asked for the checks, but somehow our waitress had miscalculated who had what and who ordered where, so she was asking individually and cross referencing who ordered what- so we asked for the bill to be split into 4th to make her life easier. However, she would not bring our check until we made sure with the manager the food that was still not here could be taken off the bill. She wanted us to make sure with the manager first. the manager came, and was incredibly abrasive. He personally took an order that was wrong when it came out. The order was never taken back and still left on the table. It sat at the table for the entire event and my sister never received what she actually ordered. The food was subpar, the vegetables weren t seasonal they were from a frozen bag, and the steak was burnt. The manager did not accommodate the fact that three adults never actually got to eat supper, and we had to come and track the bills down so we could leave. We never even received refills on water or any other drink.

Negatives: The culinary experience fell short. The Margherita pizzas crust appeared store-bought, lacking the authenticity expected. The Fettuccine Alfredo tasted like a commercial sauce, and the pasta was overcooked. In comparison, Ive had better better fettucine at Olive Garden. This place was nice and the food was good but the service was not good. The server forgot to ask one of our party for their order which was done quickly after being pointed out, but they didnt bring that persons food with the rest of ours. We couldnt find the server and asked another server to find them please. I watched the server play on the phone for several minutes after being asked to come to our table as there was an issue. We were finally able to notify them about the missing food for one of our party. All of us were politely waiting for the last persons food to arrive and by the time they got it out to us everyones food was cold. This was lunch so maybe the service at dinner is better.

Without going into every disastrous detail, it was horrible. Will never go back. Our visitors from out of town were very upset at the total amount of the meal and someone needs to learn how to make bread pudding. It was bitter, hard and cold. Had to go back twice for putting 2 adult orders thrown in 1 plastic container.

I ordered the seafood crepes and my husband ordered the fish. I tasted his and did not like the scauce on it. My seafood crepes was dry and tasted like fishy tuna. I didnt enjoy this meal at all. The waitress did come and check on us, but we didnt complain. I also noticed that several tables got served bread. We did not, but then again we didnt know if it was complimentary or not. The first time we went there it wasnt busy but the food was excellent. Very dissatisfied on this last trip. We even were celebrating our 38th wedding anniversary.

I m here waiting on truck repairs so I went to Luigi s to eat. The staff was great from the young lady that greeted me to the lady that served me. I ordered the Lasagna and I have to say for $19 I was not impressed. They do not serve any salad or bread with your order unless you add it. The lasagna was decent but not as good as the price charged for it. Overall because of the staff it was a positive experience but it would be a five star restaurant if they worked on their food.

This is one of the fancy Italian places in Town. They have many options of foods and drinks. They have live music and spacious dining rooms. I liked the spaghetti pesto and the moscato super sweet wine. I also loved the cheese cake. The staffs were attentive and super nice. The only thing I did not like about the place is that it is way more expensive than many other places providing the same or perhaps more services. The sea foods corner of the menu doesnt seem to be reasonable especially for students like me. I dont think I would come back here, unless I get some sponsors.

Luigi s is the best restaurant in the world and I will 100% recommend it to everyone. The waitresses are amazing and are the nicest people you d meet anywhere in the world. The food is out of this world. I literally had foodgasms . The pasta was so good I thought I was in Italy. They serve the most authentic Italian cuisine you can find anywhere on the planet. The atmosphere in the evening is so bubbly and fun. I ate there on a Thursday night and there was an ongoing good ol country music performance. My experience began with making a reservation online. It was done seamlessly through their website in less than two minutes. I wanted to ask my date to be my girlfriend and did had an idea in mind but did not know how I was gonna execute that. The online reservation page had a box to make special requests. I took advantage of that and told them I was gonna ask my date out. When we got to the restaurant, we were met by the amazing waitresses and let to our table. We were introduced to our waitress for the night, Madyson. Madyson is the GOAT (Greatest of ALL TIME) waitress. She was very professional and provided the best service I have ever received anywhere. She was really helpful when we asked about food recommendations. The wine I had was perfect. The bread we had was just the right texture. It felt so good in the mouth and the sauce blended in perfectly with the bread. After making our choice for the meal with expert advice from Madyson, we had our meal in no time. It was a really wonderful meal of pasta with beef sauce and chicken. I do not recall the exact name of the meal. Excuse my Italian lingo. However it was a perfect meal. After we were done having our dinner, the GOAT waitress and the best wingman ever brought out a plate with a cake that had Will you be my girlfriend spelt out in the most beautiful handwriting ever in chocolate. I was enthralled and my date, now my girlfriend could not hide her excitement. She says she s never gonna forget this gesture. I am also never gonna forget the kindness of all the amazing people at Luigi s who worked so hard to pull up this beautiful gesture. The waitresses who had a competition on seeing who could write out the most beautiful note with chocolate. Now, I am gonna take my girlfriend to Luigi s every year to celebrate our anniversary. They are indeed amazing and very wonderful people. You are gonna have an amazing time having good food, amazing music and the kindness people in the world serve you. Parking: Right outside the restaurant with many spots to park. Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly

My online order included 2 sides of bread, but I only received one of them in my to-go bag. I didnt know this until long after I left because I was in a hurry to leave (due to the order not being ready until 15 minutes after it was promised, even tho they were only serving about 5 tables at the time). I suspect that the person preparing the order didnt see the 2 in the quantity column for that line item on the ticket. So.. If you decide to place an online order from Luigis and you want more than 1 of any one thing in your to-go order, I suggest you add each one individually to the order rather than increasing the quantity before adding. I dont know this for sure, but maybe that way, each one you order will get its own line item on the ticket, thereby making it easier for the staff at Luigis to understand that you actually want more than one of those in your bag. Oh, and also give yourself a little extra time, if possible, in case your order isnt ready at the time you were told it would be.

My husband and I visited Luigis for an early Valentines dinner recently. We ordered salad, entrees, and dessert. We ordered lasagna, which was mushy, and not all that great, as well as picatta chicken, which had a thin sauce without much flavor. The chocolate tiramisu was dry and crumbly. While we were still finishing up our dessert and drinks, our waiter asked us to give up the table because of another reservation. I have never been asked to give up a table before. I was shocked. After what the meal cost, the fact that we had made our own reservation, and that we were still trying to enjoy our meal, there is no excuse for treating customers this way. What a shameful way to treat your guests. We will not return.

Unfortunately, our dinner took quite some time even though it wasnt busy on a Tuesday night. When our dinner did arrive, it looked great but tasted quite bland.
