Absolutely the best Nashville Hot style chicken, and Ive had the original in Nashville. Andrea is the best manager. My first time did not disappoint in any way. Subbed street corn for the fries on my 2-tender meal. Those are some generously-sized tenders!

The workers here are so rude and desperately need to be trained on customer service. I went to pick up an order at about 10pm (30 minutes before they close), and one female worker there was getting visibly upset cussing, and complaining about how people were coming in to order food so late. I just went to pick up an order again, but this time, a male worker was there and also being rude. When I asked him why he was having attitude not only with me, but with other customers too, he started yelling and cussing in my face. Will definitely not be going back and do not recommend just get your chicken from somewhere else.

The first time I had this place I was in awe. The chicken was crispy and fresh. The fries have the best seasoning BUT THE SAUCE to die for. I have to say this is the best fried chicken place in college station. The hot Cheeto Mac n cheese is my favorite thing on the menu. Brandon and Ray Ray (I m sorry if I spelled it wrong) have taken care of me since I first started coming here a month back. The atmosphere is inviting and just talking to them always makes my day. Brandon is one of my favorite people to come and visit when I m done with my shift and he always makes sure I leave happy and am taken care of. I m so excited to have tried a new place (AND LOVED IT) and gained new friends to talk to in the process. Will 100% recommend eating here to anyone who asks. Everything is always made fresh and the breading on the chicken is the perfect ratio. You never have to worry about your food not being hot when you come here. Kid-friendliness: The scenery in this place and the cute little booths will have your kid excited to eat here. They have high chairs and boosters on hand and your kids meal comes with a free ice cream!

I was pleasantly surprised to find this place was REALLY good! I was a little apprehensive after seeing the negative reviews but im glad I took a chance. Maybe theyre under better management? I dont know but the food was delicious and the service was stellar. We got 2 of the Sando combos which come with chicken on a brioche bun topped with slaw, sauce, and pickles. This was everything Id hoped for since I went with the extra hot (hella hot!) sauce with its nose-dripping effect but still tasty enough not to send me directly to the restroom. I think I could handle the hottest option (Will Burn You Twice), but as the title implies, you will not have a good after effect and this is something I dont particularly yearn for in my older age. I should also mention the chicken size it quite large and filling. The combo came with ridged fries that were seasoned and yummy. My children got kids meals which are $8.25 but they come with a small concrete dessert. They both thoroughly enjoyed getting a chicken and waffles but one of them could not eat it all. Now back to service, since this seems to be what everyone docks them on. I was greeted by a young man that was outgoing and held a smile the whole time. He was patient with us newcomers and out of almost the whole family that opted for non-spice options, he held a peculiar smirk when I was the only one that ordered extra hot sauce. I saw this glimmer in his eye like we had an imaginary fist bump. This I appreciated. Then when we needed the concretes later, there was a line forming but a woman was patient with me as we figured out what they needed. Inside the place was well decorated with a giant notable rooster that my kids forced me to sit next to. We had all around pleasant interactions that beg me to give this place 5-stars. I will surely be back when my wallet stops sweating. Parking: Parking is in the front and side of the building. Plenty of it. Kid-friendliness: They have kids menus at $8.25 that come with a good amount of food and a small concrete.

Tasha!!! Whoever you are I hope you see this. You have the most amazing customer service. Made sure my husband and I, had a great first experience. And trust, many more lol. Everyone in Brazos Co restaurant industry needs a class taught by Tasha on how to work in the hospitality industry. I understand it can be frustrating but you never know how much of an impact kindness can have. She has it, and it s so natural. Because of her, we will always be back. Food has potential when it s not cold. Staff is awful, the guy who took my order barely spoke at a volume that was audible and acted like he would rather be literally anywhere else. Still got our order wrong and food was cold. Never going back. Seriously DO NOT GO HERE. Go to Dave s hot chicken if you want a good meal.

The food was good. The management was horrible. Walked in and had what I assumed was the manger yelling at the customers. One of the employees was counting tips and ignoring the people in line to order, no one greeted the customers or was in any hurry to get our orders. It was a very unpleasant experience. The manger and the employee counting the tips got in an argument yelling and cussing in front of the customers. How anyone has the audacity to do so in a business in front of customers as well as arguing with a customer who intervened in the whole thing is beyond me. It didn t look like that was the first time either so I m sure they have these sort of issues a lot. I felt bad for the employees who did do their work and still tried to make it pleasant for the rest of us. Needs new management bad. I was glad to get out of there as soon as possible.

EDIT 3 8/15/24: I went in today to get another order of fries. They did it again. Told me I couldn t get any extra seasonings on my fries. Even though I told the lady making them that I ve already spoke with upper management directly about this and was told I could get whatever spices on my fries I wanted. She became visibly upset after I explained this to her (I even got a free meal last time after I complained and was told that management would clear up the confusion with staff). I think I m done with this place EDIT 2: Almost immediately after leaving this review a higher up in management called me to clear up some confusion. I was very surprised by that, and very appreciative. Apparently theres been a breakdown in communication between corporate or upper management and this stores staff. You ARE allowed to put extra seasoning on the fries (hot, extra hot, etc.). So Ive changed my review back to 4 stars. If any of the employees try to tell you that you cant put extra on there, theyre wrong. _______________________________________________________________ Editing my review because of an experience I had coming in today. So I really do like the food here, even if it is overpriced! But something has been coming up lately every time I come in thats caused me to drop my review from 4 stars to 1 star. I always order the Tijuana fries, theyre my favorite item from this place. I always ask for them to sprinkle a little bit of the extra hot spice mix over the fries. For the past 2 times Ive came in they tell me they cant do it. When I ask them why the only answer I get is because the GM told us we cant. Ok??? But why does he say that? I know it doesnt have anything to do with cost... its not like they charge you extra for getting a hotter spice mix on the regular chicken. When I ask if they can just use the Extra Hot Chicken instead of the regular, they also tell me I cant do that. I truly cant wrap my head around WHY I cant just get a little sprinkle of spice on my fries. I even offer to pay for it, but they still say no. I like my **** HOT!!!! This is literally the equivalent of me asking for extra salt or extra pepper and being told no. The cashier always seems to be in a bad mood as well. Theres one lady in particular that you can tell doesnt want to be there.

worker on the register (bo) appeared to be on drugs and messed up genuinely every persons order, the other workers had to walk around asking the customers for their orders to correct them. every person in there walked up to the register to ask about their order or to fix it at some point. workers were also rude and cashier was trying to sell other items than what was being ordered and writing them in.

I m a very patient guy, however, I ordered chicken tenders from this place and waited an hour and a half without receiving my order. The staff didn t answer my phone calls after I placed my order. I also had confirmation from my delivery driver that the order was never processed. This place quite possibly has the WORST staff of any restaurant I ve ever ordered from. Don t go here. This place is ran very poorly and I would highly suggest that management does weekly drug tests here. This is also my one and only review that I ve ever done for a restaurant, ever. Thats how bad this place sucks. Anyways, I hope they get it fixed because the food looked good. Gig em baby

After having a place like daves hot in town for a while my expectations for this place were actually pretty high. I could not have been more disappointed. It took them a minimum of 5 minutes to come take each persons order. After taking said order the person would disappear into the back to do god knows what. The chicken sandwich was really good. The fries were great! The staff was rude, disinterested in helping us in any way. They were not busy at all but the girl in the back seemed bothered that we were there she was actually eating food off of the food line in front of us while we were placing our order. The table was absolutely disgusting and filthy! I asked for a few napkins to clean the dirty table the guy working the register just handed me a few napkins rather than saying let us clean the filthy table for you. I had to get water from the fountain machine for the napkins. Dead silent in the restaurant horrible vibe there. If you own this establishment or are in regional management, check the schedule for Sunday 4/14/24 and see who was working around 6-7pm. You have some SERIOUS training opportunities and some attitude problems to address. The crew working that shift will 100% cost your business money and cause customers to never return. It would be a shame to see another restaurant close in BCS.

I come here because Urban Bird has the best hot chicken in town, hands down. They can t be beat. I cannot resist them. Their sandwiches and entrees are made by angels, with love, and I always feel so welcomed and well taken care of, whenever I stop by. My first time here and I must say I was very impressed. I ordered the chicken sandwich with Nashville hot as my flavor and was recommended the Mac and cheese with hot cheeto dust. When my food came out the lady upfront had also gave me froed to try out with my order. The chicken sandwich was sooo good. The flavor and heat level were on point. The Mac and cheese by itself was perfect but adding that hot cheeto dust on top is the way to go. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft inside but did have a sweet flavor to them but it didnt bother me any. I also got the blueberry lemonade and it was pretty awesome. I will definitely be returning soon

This guys have one of the hottest chicken we have ever tried. Will Burn You Twice is something else. Fries were fine but the seasoning has some sugar on it. Not for my taste, but everyone has a different preference. Portions have a good size. If you are hungry try buffalo Mac Meal Fries, I think is enough for even two. We enjoyed eating here.

Customer service is not impressive. We ordered food from the website, and our order was messed up. When we called to talk to someone about the mess up, they were very rude and unprofessional. We talked to Andrea and she was not willing to correct the problem because we are not able to return right now to fix the problem. They told us to not order on the website to order on the app through the phone. In our building at work, phones do not work very well, therefore we order on the website online.

I visited Urban Bird in College Station for the first time today. I want to give a shout out to Andrea and Heaven for providing outstanding service and making it a welcoming environment, you ladies really were great. I ordered the sandwich and the Urban Fries (half order). Both of these dishes were fantastic. They were fresh, flavorful, and the perfect amount for me. Customer service was amazing very friendly and helpful. Food came out fast and did not disappoint. The BBQ tenders had so much flavor and very juicy. Best waffle frys I have had in a while, crispy yet soft. The bird sauce is also a must! I suggest to give this place a try! So many options and amazing flavors.

Just Went here and ordered 4 things. Not only was it expensive but they completely forgot two of my items. Check the bag before you leave no matter how simple your order is. If you can t remember 4 simple items that you are more than willing to charge 35 bucks for, then you clearly don t care.

This place lives up to its name! I had the Tijuana Street Fries and it tasted exactly like it sounds plus obviously it was delicious. Food portion is just right, but I was struggling to finish my meal cause it was so much. Their Mango Lemonade was pretty good and dessert was the cherry on the top! Everything tasted amazing!! Will definitely be coming back for round two!

For $6, I would have expected more than a single cup of hot Cheeto macaroni cheese. I get that it was on the sides menu, but youd expect more than a single cup for the larger order for that price. I cant even imagine how much they give out for the $4 smaller portion, but its definitely not worth the money. $1.50-$2 would be a more reasonable price point for the amount they give for the large portion of a single cup.

The food was amazing and the staff was even better! We were greeted and checked on throughout our meal. Andrea is great and made our experience wonderful. Everything we ordered was so good, but their street corn was extra tasty. Kids meal came with a custard, which our littles really enjoyed! I love places that treat customers like family and I can tell they really care. Attention to details is everything!

Ordered a tender basket, hot Cheeto mac and a sandwich during lunch. Chicken came out hot, tasted great, very juicy. On the sandwich, it was a bit heavy on the slaw, but otherwise awesome with mild heat. Tender basket in Nashville hot was great, however, they placed the chicken on top of the bread, so the oil dripped down making the bread a soggy mess. Cheeto Mac was nothing to write home about, but overall the food was good, priced a bit higher than I would like, especially looking at the kids menu, which is $8 (entire menu was more expensive in store than listed online). We will be back, and look forward to trying some different offerings.

I am a hot head and a chicken sandwich lover. I typically find that some hot chicken places will lack heat or flavor but this place had it all! The sandwich was so juicy, especially spicy, and super filling. I got the fire in the hole and had a whole life experience!! Sweat, tears, watery nose, I was in heaven! Strongly recommend this place

Delish! We had the buffalo Mac fries and it was delicious!! The fries had a yummy seasoning to them, the chicken was awesome and Im picky about my chicken, I can taste when its old. The Mac and buffalo and ranch were all really good. I tried a side of slaw and didnt know it was kale slaw. It wasnt good and I eat kale salads. Coke was superb as well. The staff was a little spacey except one super sweet lady. Tables and dining area was super clean.

Sadly disappointed in this place. My husband and I have been eagerly waiting for this place to open and it did not meet any expectations. The open sign was off, and there were employees standing against the doors on their phones so we werent even sure if the place was open. We ordered our food and didnt have to wait long, but the food came out and was missing the sauce and pickles which are supposed to come with the tender baskets. We notified the cashier and she said she thinks those have to be paid for extra, we read the menu and it was wrong. We sat to eat our food and everything was cold. We couldnt even tell which were the naked tenders and which were mild. The sauce was also rather bland. There was an employee on her break talking on the phone arguing with someone loudly while we were eating. Overall, not a pleasant experience and for the price I would not return. With other options in town such as Daves Hot chicken, I dont think this place is on par.

We have been anticipating this place for so long and we finally got to try it today. Cashier was kind enough, but doesn t know the menu! The other employees were the same. My food came out cold and I mean cold. $30 for 2 baskets is a little much especially when the food is so sub par. There are many options in this area for fried chicken and with this location falling short, I don t see it lasting long! I would also like to mention 2 employee were just leaning up against the soda machines laughing and texting also, who I m assuming was a lead of some sort was sitting in the dining area having a loud heated argument with Simone on her phone. Anyways, it s safe to say we will not be going back.
