If the food didnt cost $35.00 + $5.00 tip for two Id rate it much higher. They are known and won awards for their burgers. I thought their burgers were mediocre at best. Service was below avg. Atmosphere is great. Overall disappointed. The burger 1/3 pound with cheese jalapenos was $13.00. it was $10.49+ .40 cents to add the cheese and jalapenos (which I didnt get)... It was a wopping $2.50 to SUBSTITUTE the fries for onion rings which SERVICE didnt reiterate. There werent any prices on their beers. I think a bottled blue moon was like $4.00. Their ice machine on the self-service soda machine has black mold in it. Sweet Tea no ice was good. So burger onion rings + chicken fries + sweet tea + beer = $34.00. Restrooms and the location itself was kept clean. I dont think Ill be back. Overall 3.8/6

Fun atmosphere near the Texas A&M campus, just a mile or 2 south of Kyle Field. Order and pick up at the counter service. The bugers were good. Higher end eatery on a college budget, but overall affordable for the average patron. Great place to eat with the kiddo(s) on drop-off/ pick-up weekends. The only small complaint, it was a little warm in the restaurant (visited during the middle of August).

I wanted a good burger while in CSTAT, and Koppe did not disappoint. The only reason for the lower service score is because it is basically self-serve, order from counter, fill your own drinks, etc.

This place is Texas. From the vibe down to the food, Texas. Burger was excellent, very traditional and not overpowering with regular salt and pepper seasoning for zest. I really enjoyed the French fries that were clearly made in house and not frozen from a bag. Will definitely go back.

This place was highly recommended by a friend. I really wasnt impressed. The menu said the burger basket was 11.99 and that was all I ordered and my total was 16.89 not sure how we came to that but I didnt comlain as the woman who took my order seemed impatient enough. The burger patty was dry the bun was soggy and the fries were bland. The tables were mostly dirty and there were greasy finger prints and ketchup on the paper towel rolls on the table. I didnt hate it. I was just very disappointed.

We have been going to Koppe Bridge for about 20 years. It has always been superb. Unfortunately, last Friday evening it was not the case. We ordered a burger which was ok, the bun was not heated but otherwise it was ok. We then ordered a fish basket and 2 kids chicken strip baskets. EVERYTHING that was fried was HORRIBLE. The fries were so hard they crumbled and broke in your fingers. The kids chicken strips and the fried fish were the same hard and just broke into pieces. They were not even edible. We spent $60 on a meal that was basically inedible. We showed it to them and they just looked at us with no response.

Great hangout spot. They did a lot to get the atmosphere, and an awesome outdoor space which was enjoyable. Staff was very friendly. Food was about average for a college burger place. Tasty and filling but nothing too special or over the top. I would go again if I got the urge for a good burger. Parking: It s in a dirt lot that surrounds the establishment. Could get crowded on a busy Sat. night. Easy on a weekday after the lunch rush. Wheelchair accessibility: They have ramps

Apps were great, and the wings were fresh and hot! The only major issue was the cold and super dry 1/2 burgers. My wife and I ordered 2 bacon burgers since we used to come to Koppe back in our A&M days, and we were so disappointed at how bad the burgers were. I hope it was just an off night.

Koppel Bridge has been a family tradition since 2000, when our children started at Texas A&M. The beer is cold, burgers are large, and home cut fries are served in large portions. The hot wings were meaty and flavorful. It can sometimes get really crowded really quickly. We came with our granddaughters volleyball team and parents and were fortunate enough to have enough space in the back room. We had a good time ate our fill and enjoyed the visit. We will return on our next visit to Aggieland.

My coworkers and I come here often and every single time has been great. The chicken fried chicken/steak are both delicious and the Koppe Bridge Burger is good as well. Portion sizes are generous and pricing is fair. Update 10/05: I am upset to report they no longer have chicken fried chicken and the chicken fried steak I ordered instead was mostly batter. I ordered onion rings to sub for fries and only received 5 rings for an extra $4. Flavor is still good but value seems to be on the decline.

Ordered a bowl of chili. The menu says it comes with onion and cheese. What I got was a dark brown, almost black, bowl of meat swimming in grease (no onion and no cheese). I was taking the grease out by the spoonful. The chili was sweet and hardly had any flavor. I mentioned it to the front desk and was told there were no refunds and they let me put it back on the beer side of the counter. Worse chili in town but the onion rings were decent.

The lady behind the counter stated youre more than welcome to take a look at your burger before you leave and it looked fine. The burger was super messy, super soggy bun. The bacon WAS NOT COOKED all the way. Fries were even soggy. I dont know if this was just the location or what but I wouldnt recommend the burger basket at this location. And for me, I would rather go to Burger House in Bryan than to Koppe Bridge on Welborn. Sorry, not sorry.

I had high expectations. Everyone in College Station raves about Koppe Bridge. I had seen awards for their burger, so I figured I d try it can you say overrated ? The best thing I could equate it to is a burger from Whataburger. It was dry, clearly overcooked, and completely under seasoned. However, their fries are very crispy, chips are wonderful, and salsa is flavorful. The thing they win awards for though, my least favorite food of the meal.

We had the famous burger. It was good, but not award winning or fantastic. Much better burgers all around college station and the rest of Texas. Very cool atmosphere, sitting at a former President s favorite table was a cool experience. Very cool vibe and a cool place to be. Overall, they deserve a 3.5 star rating. Definitely worth a visit, the food is good. Also, the burger and fries were a very nice portion. Parking: Weird spot to get to, but there is definitely enough free parking. We came here a lot before the COVID-19 pandemic because they had the best burgers in town, no doubt. Their fries are also really good and have a nice crispiness to them. However, something changed after 2020 with their burgers, and I guess I get it, money got tight. The burgers may have been frozen or I dont know what. We stopped coming. But then we gave it another shot after over 2 years of nothing, and I am glad to report they have returned to the fresh burger patties from before! This is awful for my wallet but so good for my belly. I ordered the 1/2 pound burger with cheese and fries and it was the heavenly beef I once knew. My wife got the same and couldnt finish hers. My kids got the grilled cheese with fries, which drives me crazy because I could make that at home in less then 2 minutes and for WAY cheaper. But kids will be kids. We all got drinks (no beer) as well and it came out to around $55. The girls at the front werent particularly friendly but the cooks in the back are always extremely helpful and polite. Any dumb questions I throw their way and they always answer promptly with a smile. Like, Where is the ketchup? To which I found out they have about 15 FULL containers right there near the cash registers. Whoops! This place also has pool tables in the back but weve never played here. We always sit outside when the weather is nice like it was last weekend. They have plenty of tables out there and the kids can run around and get some energy out. They have a speaker outside so you can still hear your order. This place is great and we will be back --- just waiting on my paycheck!

I have placed phone to-go orders with both Koppe Bridge locations for years. While their website does say that they dont take phone orders on football weekends due to the volume of business, at least at the Wellborn location, that seems to have been extended to whenever they randomly deem lunch hour is too busy. I was told I couldnt place a phone order today as they were just too busy, but I could walk in and place it. That kind of defeats the purpose for calling in an order.

I had not been to Koppe Bridge in a long time, but still one of the best burgers in College Station. Highly recommend!

Koppe Bridge is an old favorite in B/CS. It s anti-atmosphere of barn aesthetic compliments the old-fashioned, no nonsense menu. The burgers are great. Fries are hand cut. If it is burger and beer night KBBG is the local pick. The pool tables are good too.

Great atmosphere, cold beer ,fair food. Had a burger basket, good hand cut fries, meat severely over cooked , seamed like the meat may have been cooked prior to my arrival and waiting in a roaster oven ?? bun was not toasted just a bad burger!!
