Sat at bar. Nobody else sitting there. Took bartender nearly 10 minutes to acknowledge us because she was too busy chatting with her server friends. Same when trying to pay out. Another server finally noticed us and sent her over. Not typically like this but management needs to work on her attentiveness.

I really liked this place a lot in terms of atmosphere, lovely service from the waiters, accommodating to our special dietary requirements as Muslims, being very informative, and lovely food cooked to perfection. This is the best seafood restaurant in BCS. Dietary restrictions: Just inform the waiters before hand that you have dietary restrictions such as Muslim friendly options and they will cater for all your needs.

Well first bartender was great but I guess she left and the new ones that came on didn t say a word, only hung out at the end of the bar and chatted amongst themselves. No one cleared plates. Food was descent but wrong side came out. Didn t ask them to make it right. So not bad food, but evening bartenders seem to have better gossip than service.

Talk about a fine dining experience? This is it. I have to say the steak was on the top five list of best steaks Ive had. We had the oreo cheesecake dessert to end the night and it was PHENOMENAL. The onion rings are huge! Service was excellent and everything was perfect. I highly recommend this place to anyone thats hungry!

Dont know about the food, I never got served. I was there for 5 minutes, got a menu, water and flat wear. 18 minutes later I finally got up and left. My server waited on another table, and never came back to my table to ask for my order. She was nice, but not seem to car le if I got served. Pretty sad to be forgot about, and sadly I left a restaurant for the first time. 58 years old and travel to TX weekly. So I decided to go down the road to Sodolaks, to eat where Ive had excellent service in the past. My hotel is at the Hilton, Fish Daddys 5 blocks down, I drove 4 miles to be served. My apologies if I did know what to eat, but I dont appreciate being ignored or even forgotten.

So we were greeted by hostess taken to our table given menus and no one ever came to our table to offer drinks, take any orders we were there 10 minutes. The place was not even half full at all. The menu was horrible. There were not alot of any selections at all and no way to tell what kind of drinks they have other then alcohol which is not what we wanted. We will never be going back to this place again. It was our first time and last time. Update called to the restaurant talked to someone name Mya the hostess. Told her about our experience. I personally do not feel she was sincere or that she would tell the manager of the restaurant at all since she was the one who sat us at our table and then watched us walked out.

Went for lunch when my friends order had a paper or wrapper or something in her food, gave to the waitress she told the kitchen manager and that was that. So we then asked to speak to the manager, she came over and went to rectify it came back and gave 3 dollars off and sent the waitress to give us our bill. Very unprofessional for someone in her position. Food was great, manager is questionable and very rude .

Great food, beautiful atmosphere (we sat next to the fish tank), service was superb. Drinks from the bar looked so good (we didnt have any). Our waitress was this sweet college senior studying kinesiology. She said she was the 1st one in her family to attend college. Ate here a few times over the years and always had a pleasant experience, food is super good and the seafood is high quality. Impressive size aquarium right as you walk in the door. Not sure if it is still on the menu, but the Cedar Plank Salmon was a very good pick, you could even take the plank of cedar home with you if you so please. Did notice it being consistently cold inside, but wasnt too cold to detract much from the overall experience.

Wow what an amazing place! Better than expected. I was visiting from Miami and wanted to try out the restaurant. The food was delicious just right, the service was professional and amazing, Amelia my server was top notch probably the best server I ever had always had a smile and also very attentive. All the family s food was great except my wife s steak. We sent it back and they brought the same steak back. Yikes after its been cut into. It looked tough as leather. A simple medium steak is hard to cook. The manager said that s what they do. We said any other restaurant will make a new one to that correct temperature. I called today to make reservations and I was told that it was no wait time for a party of 4. I told her we were 15mins away and she said no problem just come right in. When we arrived, they told me it was no tables available. I said I just called to make reservations for a party of 4 and was told to come right in. They looked at me like I was lying! I then showed them my phone log of a whole 1 minute conversation that was had 15mins ago to the restaurant and none of the 3 white women at the front would admit they spoke to me. They didn t care what I was saying and told me that I would have to go on the waitlist. I told them it was the principle of it for them to not care and to treat me like I was lying. I would ve left if it had not been for my dad wanting to eat there for Father s Day. I felt discriminated because of my skin color. I will never go back. The food was tasteless

I visited your establishment with a colleague the other day, and we both enjoyed our meals. I ordered the chicken sandwich, and my friend had the fried shrimp. The pricing was exceptional, and we were seated promptly by the front of house staff. Our server was slightly inattentive, but overall, the experience was positive. Ill be back next time i visit the area. Furthermore, I believe that adding a blackened chicken sandwich to your menu would be a successful addition.

I was just at the establishment . I asked the waitress if they had shredded Parmesan she went to the kitchen and they said no. So I order something else shrimp n grits but my friend order an entree lo and behold it had Parmesan cheese. I asked the manager Mackayla she said oh she thought you meant the block to shred it like Olive Garden. I never ever mention this but I asked for shrimp pasta with Parmesan cheese . She brought it back and the broccoli was sitting on the side of the dish instead of being spread through out the entree . I told the manager I don t want this because it looked rushed and thrown together she kept making excuses after excuses I asked her to leave my table because she never once apologize and she said if you going to act like this don t come back. Born and raised in the Bryan College Station area I still have never had the time to come over to Fish Daddys to eat. Tonight was that night. Out on a break from caring for an elderly parent at the Scott & White hospital I was lucky enough to have a moment by myself to give this an opportunity. My server, Sophia, was friendly, helpful, and very proactive in recommending choices once she knew that I was a newbie. I tried the gumbo and having come from the coast I can say I was impressed. The tilapia was lackluster but thats because I didnt get the Alexander topping on it which I had requested. All in all this has been a very enjoyable meal and greatly needed time out from my very stressful family requirements. I will be back!

If your waiter does come to your table and check to see if you need anything, YOU CAN NOT go to the bar and order a drink . You can only go to the bar and order a drink if you are waiting on a table or eating at the bar .we sat down he took our order and never came back to our table someone else delivered our food and I had to stop a different waiter to get ketchup and get our water refilled I went to the bar and ordered a drink our waiter came out with the bill and wasnt happy I got a drink from the bar I told him if he had came back to check on us I would have order it with him .

This was such a fun place! The food was phenomenal. We had the Atchafalaya, Blackened Shrimp Scampi, Fried Calamari (off the menu) and the Banana Pudding, and it was all delicious. We ate every single bite of it all. The waitresses were great, and food came out quickly. Also the place is really nice and the vibes were nice! The atmosphere is always very nice and the servers we have are outstanding. Weve never ordered anything we didnt love and the prices are reasonable. We eat here every six weeks when we pass through College Station on our way to and from family visits and to attend scheduled medical appointments in the San Antonio area. The fried shrimp dinner, fish and chips, hamburgers, salmon salad, loaded baked potato, fresh broccoli, and red beans and rice are just a few of our favorites. Overall the food was just warm not hot and our rice was cold. No salt/pepper anything on the table so have to ask. Its a gorgeous establishment, for sure. We went on a Wednesday evening. We were seated promptly. Our server took our drink and appetizer order right away. She was a great server, and I hate that I didnt get her name. We went here because I love hush puppies, and we were told that the ones they serve here were awesome. To each their own. They were odd. They were stick shaped with very little flavor and heavy grease. They came with a side of butter. Why? I have no idea. The fried green tomatoes were mediocre. Again, not a lot of flavor and very heavily soaked in grease. It made me sad because I love both of those things, and neither one lived up to the hype, unfortunately. The salad was ok. I didnt care for the lemon dressing with it at all. Its just too bitter for my personal taste. Maybe a honey mustard would be great with it. My ribs were falling off of the bone, no doubt, but they were dry! I will say, though, I did go to a seafood place and not order seafood. Its not a place that Ill be revisiting, personally. Its not terrible. It just isnt for me.

Very good and consistently prepared seafood. Ive eaten here at least 8 times and have never had a bad meal. I usually order the Fish Daddy Combo which consists of 3 protein items and 2 side dishes. The fried shrimp is among the best Ive had anywhere, including restaurants on the coast. The grilled shrimp is very flavorable as well. I usually get the crawfish creole as my third protein, it has just the right amount of heat and spice. They have several choices for side dishes on the menu and sometimes have special daily side items, just ask your waiter. One of favorite places to eat in College Station and one of the few places I rate as 5 stars.

DONT EAT HERE!!! I applied for a job here as a server a month or so ago, now mind you I have over 25 years experience in the restaurant industry, and was interviewed by a lady by the name I think was Meg, anyway I feel like she was in a way racist because even with the help they needed there, she told me shed call me in a few days, but I never heard from her. I even called there about a week after my interview and spoke again with her and she still said shed call later. So I check out indeed job site this morning and low and behold it said Fish Daddys is hiring servers and it was a new post. I really believe this place hires people according to their race and not their experience. This place should be investigated for discrimination. I have definitely spread the word about the discrimination I have received here, and Im sure word will get around and the truth will find its way to the light! They dont even deserve a person of my experience and personality to work there or even eat there. Please beware!!!

We had dinner here around 7:30 on 7/17. The staff welcomed us warmly and had us seated within minutes of our arrival. The beers were refreshing, and the colossal onion rings were delicious. My entree of blackened shrimp, bacon-wrapped scallops and grits was fantastic. Our group really enjoyed our time and meals at this establishment.

On Friday night, 6/16/23, we went out for fish and Fish Daddys was really good! Our server, Hayden, was very attentive and courteous. The food was top notch and we were served pretty fast! I had the Mahi Mahi bourbon glazed, red beans & rice and sweet potato fries. I left full and happy

The food is always good here This is my go to place! My husband and I are always amazed that their isnt a wait. This place is the absolute truth! I highly highly recommend the cracker shrimp that stuff is addictive. In this photo is my go to, firecracker shrimp and a side of fries. I believe they are priced fairly for what you get. But be prepared for a good size bill haha I am certainly not complaining, again. Atmosphere, portions, and taste really does speak for the restaurant. Definitely worth it Kid-friendliness: Kid menu, fish tank for viewing, different options for children, even the pickiest of eaters! They have pizza, chicken nuggets, fish and lots more! Wheelchair accessibility: They offer handicap accessibility parking, along with a wheelchair ramp.

After sitting at the table for 15 minutes before first contact, I was sat and watched as wait staff walked right past me. I ordered the bacon wrapped scallops, balckened shrimp and grits. When the food arrived it was room tempurature. The grits were solid. I told my waiter that the food was luke warm and he was less than concerned. Not a great experience for poor start to cold ending. Never saw nor got a visit from a manager. After eating here for years, and bringing guests while bragging about the restaurant, this experience has me.questioning if I would come back.

This is the first experience my family and I had here and probably the last. We got seated promptly. There was no wait time like Roadhouse, which was an hour, and decided to try this place. Our waitress came and took our drink order, which my daughter-n-law both asked for sweet tea with lemon. The drinks arrived with no lemon, we asked a second time. After patiently waiting, still no lemon. So we asked another waitress who immediately brought it to us. We placed our order, which I specifically asked for Ranch that she wrote down. The waitress who brought our lemon actually brought our food and was very gracious and got the Ranch. Our original waitress came by stating she would get us more drinks. Again, the second waitress brought our drinks and got us more lemons. The original waitress came removed our plates and finally asked if wed like dessert, which was ordered. We asked for to go boxes, which she finally brought, and the check. Before I continue as an ex restaurant manager, this was one of the worst experiences I have had. I can only hope the other waitress received the tip my son left. Now to continue. My daughter-n-law took my grandbaby of 4 to the bathroom and stated that their was a worker in the bathroom. She told the girls at the front about the worker and that there was no soap to wash their hands. The girls stated, Oh yeah, were out. Sorry. My daughter-n-law said, But you have a worker in there who cant wash their hands. You might want to go to the store and get some. The girls just snarked and laughed. The business wouldnt know this if it werent for reviewing on here. The last part I take very seriously in the food industry. Having hand soap for customers and especially workers is a must!! Its not something to laugh at!! So will we be going back? I think not!

Im giving this 3 stars because every time I order food here to go, no matter if I order online or in person, they always forget to give me all of my food. For instance, my husband ordered me a baked potato with everything on the side and I received a plain baked potato with nothing on it or on the side. Also, we usually get a lot of tarter sauce but we only received 1 container of cocktail sauce. The last several times, there was always something missing or wrong with our order. I love the taste of the food and the atmosphere when I eat here, but when you order your food to go, it is always missing something.

After considering the many restaurants here in college station, I decided to go to Fish Daddys. I ordered a patron margarita and the muscles with fettuccine. I have to say, it is NOT worth the price and wait. The margarita took over 15 minutes to arrive. The service was horrible. Its as if she had a bad personal experience and was taking it out on the customer. The main course was even worse than the service. The dish had more water than the accompanying tasteless noodles and muscles. I had heard so many good things about this establishment and was surprised at the very disappointing experience. Update: 2 hours after the horrible tasteless meal, I found my self feeling nauseous. I ended up having to physically dispose the disgusting food, aka...vomiting! I will never return to this location, nor will I ever recommend anyone else to go there.

Tried to order take out for family. Found out there are certain plates on the menu that cannot be ordered to go due to being House Specialties. Had to cancel our order and go elsewhere. We were advised to come to the restaurant and order the item togo from the bar. So they will do it just have to come and wait. Absolutely ridiculous. Wouldnt have minded paying more or some kind of take out charge. What I wanted was the convenience of calling in and picking up when ready. Better options exist that can capitalize on this flawed practice. I really hope management can address this.
