This is where my son and daughter-in-love were married. Angela did an amazing job! We went to many venues but thankfully my son and his bride chose The Lonesome Dove! This place is perfect from the brides cottage to the groomsmen hangout. The chapel is so pretty and the reception area is great too. Angela was such a great wedding coordinator! Lots of great places to take photos. The DJ did fantastic. Definitely recommend this place.

I just had my wedding over the weekend and I want to say how great it was having it here. Brittany was my coordinator and I loved her!! It was everything I wanted and it was stress free. I highly recommend this venue they gave me everything I wanted.

I was a bridesmaid in my best friends wedding that was held here.. we were treated so well by the staff. Her wedding coordinator was wonderful and so helpful, she made sure my bff didn t have to stress and could enjoy her day.. the little houses they had us in to get ready were beautiful and decorated so lovely. Where the reception is held is a good sized space with an area for small children to play. It was also decorated so nice. Overall we were so happy with our experience that day and thank you for helping make my bff s day perfect

I was the bride at a recent micro wedding, in the backyard of the Dovette. It s a beautiful rental home situated behind the main venue that was perfect for my intimate ceremony My makeup was recommended by my wedding coordinator that worked in sync with the venue to decorate my event beautifully. Her name is Britney, who I have known to be a great event/wedding planner for years. It was so personal. Afterward we served food (including crawfish) in the large kitchen/ outdoor space. I spent the night and enjoyed all it had to offer! I couldn t recommend a place that will care for your day more.

Excellent venue, with incredible staff. They think of everything and take care of whatever you need without hesitation. From decorating and ceremony details to a smooth transition of an epic reception, these folks are incredible. I would highly recommend everyone give this place a visit and let them WOW you with their experience and expertise you won t regret it!

Love love love it here!!! The ladies that work here were so nice! This was the second event I ve been to there, my kids were treated with kindness while there, the facilities were clean, police personnel are on staff so we all felt it was a safe environment just overall very pleased!!! Will absolutely be recommending them to friends in the area!

The venue is very nice. I recently went there to see a shades of hunks show. The stage is extremely small. The show itself was okay but the show didnt get started until after 7:30. The men were extremely hot. But the show they put on was very unorganized. It took forever for them to come out on stage. I could go on and on about the negative. But I wont.

My wife and I got married at the Lonesome Dove in March and would highly recommend it to any couple. We went with the silver package and were so relieved that so many of the details were taken care of for us. Their grounds are beautiful, though it ended up being a bit too cold for us, so we instead had our ceremony in their gorgeous chapel, and then danced the night away in their venue. The food was excellent (and the chef was so friendly!), and they even made us separate plates so we could eat before entering for our reception. The bridal & groom suites were fantastic, and our wedding co-ordinator made the whole day a breeze. Thank you so much to all the staff!

Had my daughters baby shower here yesterday. I highly recommend! I will never look at another location for any event. THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO!!!! Not only are they affordable but this location is so beautiful. Everyone was super impressed. Staff is wonderful also. I just dont believe 5 stars is enough to cover this place! 100 stars from us!!!! Will def be recommending to everyone I know!

Angela and Tonya absolutely killed it. The venue and accommodations they talked us through and helped us with throughout the process for our wedding was just perfect. They set everything up and managed the day for us fantastically. All very smooth and casual while at the same time extremely professional. Angela knows her stuff. I was in my best friend s wedding at this venue and was completely blown away by how much Angela and her team go completely above and beyond to give the most personal and memorable experience. The pictures on the website do not give this beautiful venue justice. It is GORGEOUS and so spacious with endless photo ops. Angela rolled out the red carpet at the bed and breakfast with the sweetest hospitality and that girl can cook!!! Every vendor from the wedding cake to photography did an amazing job , allowing our bride to have the dream day she dreamt of her whole life. When I say everyone went above and beyond, I mean EVERYONE! I would absolutely recommend this venue! Angela and her team truly make you feel like family rather than a client. Thank you so very much for going above and beyond! You are so amazing!

We just had our wedding here last weekend and it was amazing and I am not just saying that cause I am the groom, Angela was so helpful with questions and everything and on the day of our wedding she was our day of coordinator and made sure that our night didn t have any hiccups and the DJ was awesome he knows how to read the crowd and keep everyone having a great time and dancing

Beautiful place, Western Theme, but can be quickly formal. I spent two days there on the grounds for a teacher conference. The chairs were comfortable the views were amazing. The grounds were maintained beautifully. So cute with the decorations. Looking for a venue its perfect for your next planned event. Now I want to see a wedding in action. Beautiful venue. Angela was amazing! We had a few ups and downs and decided to downsize our wedding and she was so amazingly helpful and understanding, working with the money we had already paid in to give us exactly what we needed. She even acted as a day-of coordinator and decorated the hall for us so beautifully, giving me exactly what I had envisioned. She had a huge storage building full of options for us to choose from. It really was a wonderful day, totally worth the drive.

We were here for a Family Wedding. Beautiful scenic area with lots of trees in surrounding area. Quaint and charming church, rustic reception area with food serving area and bar area. Gazebo in the back. Rustic, country, laid back. It was perfect for a Country Wedding with Country music in playing in the background by the djs.

There aren t enough great things I can say about this venue! Angela and Jenna were both WONDERFUL! A family member had her wedding here, and both ladies were so sweet, helpful, and passionate about what they do. They executed the wedding perfectly to every last detail. Whether you know exactly what you want, or whether you need ideas and suggestions for your event, their ultimate goal is to make your dream wedding/event a reality, and as easy as possible. I loved the Lonesome Dove before yesterday. I had my wedding there in July as well as our rehearsal dinner. But after I went to my first post-wedding wedding at another venue (Tuscan Gardens), I am even more in love with The Lonesome Dove because I realize just how blessed I was to have my wedding there. I basically showed up with a few decorations and, with the package I purchased, when I came out for the ceremony and reception its as if the most magical of decoration ferries had gotten a hold of everything. (AKA Angela, the owner of The Lonesome Dove). I wouldnt be mistaken to say that TLD is the most polished, well maintained, friendliest and burden-free-for-the-bride venue in Houston. Angela has found her calling in this business and you wont find a host or venue that will give you a better experience. Truly worth every penny!
