Park is well maintained by the county. Trail is about 6 miles and is pretty flat. Trail is well paved and you would see forest, falls, lakes along the trail. Trail is bike friendly, dog friendly. Picnic spots available for families to enjoy. Good parking space available at both ends of the trailhead.

Very nice trails but you have to watch out because more and more fast motorized electric bikes are using these trails now. I saw signs that said No Motorized Vehicles allowed but it seems no one is imposing the law. These fast and heavy electric bikes are pretty much like motor cycles and they belong on our road ways and not zipping through next to kids, strollers, pedestrians and slow moving ordinary bicycles on the trails. Because of their weight and speed if these electric bikes hit someone it can do a lot of damage.

The bike trail was great! Well maintained. The bathrooms at the trail head at Little Elm were AWFUL. So nasty. They need to be cleaned more often.

Beautiful, well-kept trails! People please mind the paths and keep your kids and yourselves off the trail if youre just going to stand literally in oncoming bicycle and pedestrian traffic. Just pay attention to your surroundings, no one wants to hurt someone standing in the path or themselves swerving or braking to avoid hitting someone.

By far my favorite trail in Round Rock. So beautiful and very quiet in the mornings just wish people would stop throwing their trash on the ground.

Fantastic trail to walk, run and bike! Please keep in mind when you go that this is a SHARED TRAIL! Lots of people on it. Lots of bikes. If youre walking with someone or with headphones do everyone a favor and occasionally check your tail. Move to the right as bikes come racing by. Most of them announce, but many times a pedestrian cant hear them or see them (glare from sunset, high winds, cyclist is out of breath).

I do not live in the Austin area but was in town for a wedding and this trail was suggested as a great place to run. Let me just tell you it was awesome!!!!!!!!!! The trail is a mixed trail of crushed rock and concrete. There are parks along the trail with nice facilities, restrooms, picnic tables, pavilions and even a skateboard park. This trail definitely made it in my top 5 urban trails!!

Great Trail. The sidewalk portion is well maintained and is mostly uncovered. If you take some of the other trail options you will find some really great over looks and hiking along the creek.

Really an incredible trail, and Im so thankful to Williamson County for putting forth the resources to develop and maintain it. We dont live in Williamson County--and its a bit of a drive for us--but its worth it. Approx 6 miles in its current form, it starts at Twin Lakes YMCA just off the old 183 and currently ends (because of construction) at Brushy Creek Lake Park. With an impressive design, the trail is extra wide and winds through beautiful exposed limestone cliffs, across bridges, next to sweeping fields, and most of the time -- has you right next to Brushy Creek. Perfect for joggers, bikers, or those wanting a casual walk. Plenty of space for everyone, and also lots of cool off road options that take you down closer to the creek and up past the limestone cliffs. Youll see lots of folks fishing in various areas, ALWAYS folks taking family/senior/wedding photos, and people with hammocks relaxing. We always feel completely safe, even when it starts to get dark.

Great park to visit with little ones. The splash pad is great and the park has a little lake for the kids to look at or fish in. Also on the weekends you can rent paddle boards and canoes to get on the lake.

Great, long regional trail. Right now the part crossing over the dam is closed but they built a bypass along brushy Creek road. Try the canoe shop at the lake or head into Breakaway neighborhood and check out some small planes. Lots of geocaching available as well!

My favorite place to go trail running! The trails that veer off the main trails are awesome. Various types of terrain and trail lengths, kayaking rentals and restrooms make up an amazing park that stretches from round rock to cedar park.
