DO NOT see John Clingan! Every time I have come to see him he has told me I shouldn t have come to see him and tries to refer me to someone else. First for a migraine then a medication issue. He is very unhelpful and makes you feel bad for coming to him for help. Don t see this man.

Dont go! My provider is no longer with them and I was given to Rose Solomon. I dont know what happened before I got there but she would ask me a question, then interrupt me after 2 words anticipating my response. Which wasnt correct, but I couldnt correct her without her interrupting. She didnt ask about previous medical history. She had decided that before she even met me that I was just in there for pills and she wasnt having it. Look I get not wanting to prescribe something that you arent comfortable with and I am taking less medication now than at any point in my life. She doesnt know that because she never let me finish. I had a list of questions for her that we never got to because I just got up and left. I dont know who hurt her before, but I clearly paid for it today. I have never met a ruder health provider in my life. Save your money and your heart...go to any place besides this one!!! ----Follow-Up:Cedar Park Regional Marketing reached out to me after my initial review and left a voicemail. Despite several attempts on my part to speak with someone in a position of authority, I was unable to resolve the situation and eventually gave up.I had a wonderful experience with my previous provider, Nicole Zenon, who genuinely cared about her patients and focused on providing the right treatment. She was attentive, listened, and never pushed unnecessary medications. Nicole was a valuable asset to CPPA, and it s unfortunate that she is no longer with them.I had been a loyal patient for many years, but today I received a certified letter informing me that I am no longer a patient of CPPA and advising me to seek care elsewhere. It s disappointing to see that instead of addressing concerns about the quality of service, CPPA has chosen to sever ties. I am grateful the women who, conveniently, said she had a positive experience with Ms. Solomon is happy and healthy.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This location has went downhill. I needed refills of a medication. I submitted it through my pharmacy, and it kept getting denied. I finally called Cedar Park Physician Associates, and was informed that my provider was no longer with them. They said they sent a letter informing me but I never received the letter. Then the lady said - oh, it seems that many patients of this provider did not get the letter. I am not sure why they didnt send something to through their portal. They scheduled me an appointment with Rose Solomon. I waited for 20 minutes for her to even see me (I had a 7am appointment), and then she walked in and couldnt find her badge (it was hanging on her shirt). She asked me the same question three times in a row. She acted like she was on something as she kept cutting me off and couldnt type on the computer correctly. She kept stumbling through her words and appeared frantic. She forgot her phone and said she couldnt get on the computer without it, so she walked out to get it - I waited about ten minutes and finally stepped out to find a nurse to see what was going on. She came back in and still had trouble getting on the computer. She said she had to talk a call from her manager. I told her I needed to leave for work in a few minutes and she told me she wouldnt be able to get me my refills because she needed more than a few minutes. She still couldnt log into the computer. She asked me to give her one minute and she could help me, but when that minute was up she was flustered that I was getting my stuff to leave. I am a teacher and had a class. She kept asking why someone couldnt cover my class (we dont have subs) and became very rude when she was not satisfied with the answer that there was no one to cover my class. This is no way to treat your patients. I am not at fault for her incompetence - not knowing where her badge was (hanging on her shirt), forgetting her phone, and becoming rude when I said I had to leave. Also, not sure why she kept asking me the same question - and kept stumbling through her words. I literally scheduled the 7am appointment so I could be at school on time for my class. I have never had an issue in the past with the 7am appointments. Rose Solomon is terrible.

I had the exact opposite experience (as a previous reviewer) with Rose Solomon, the new NP. She had never seen me before, asked questions to get to know me, thoroughly read notes from previous appts at the clinic, and checked my heart and lungs (which is more than previous NPs did for my annual checkup). She actually seems to care. Because this clinic makes you go back every six months to get a new rx (hate this about the clinic since most doctors write annual rxs), thats likely why many of Rose Solomons appts are for getting pills refilled and patients werent expecting to have a get-to-know-you chat.

Update: The Office Manager gave me a call to address the issues below, was able to get me scheduled in a timely manner at a new location, and was genuinely apologetic for my experience. I appreciate the initiative in reaching out to make things right! Previous review: Sad to say this is probably the worst medical group I have communicated with. Providers are leaving left and right, yet none of the others are taking new patients. You cannot speak to anyone at the office, all calls are taken by a third party call center. I am required to have follow-up visits every 3 months to continue with my medication. Upon requesting my last refill, I was proactive and requested to go ahead and set up my follow-up appointment a month early. I was told I would need to establish care with a new provider, as the provider I was seeing at the time was leaving...no problem. Called and got that set up, but was not told I would need to go to a different location to see this new provider. Because of this, I showed up to my normal office (that I have been going to since 2019) only to find the office closed. I called the following day to see why I was scheduled for a time that was 30 minutes after they closed, and only then was I told that my appointment was at a different office. I called the following week to set up a new appointment and the woman I spoke to told me I would need to figure out what provider I wanted to see then call her back to schedule...I told her I am self pay, so I would not need to verify if any one of them would be in my network. Also- how am I supposed to know of any specific provider when I am having to establish care with someone new? After going back and forth with her and explaining the situation a few times, she then was suddenly able to see what providers were accepting new patients and scheduled me for August 15th. I asked if I could be put on a cancellation list because I would be running out of my prescription before then.. she said she would send a request to the office. Said thank you, that was that. Not even an hour later a different woman called me and said she was asked to reach out to me. She was calling from somewhere called Family First or Family Health (dont exactly remember). I was confused and trying to figure out where she was calling me from and why, then realized she is from the call center for Cedar Park Physicians. I told her I have an appointment on August 15th but just wanted to be placed on a cancellation list, if possible. She said we dont have one of those, but we do need to change your appointment because the provider she scheduled you with is leaving. I said so this appointment that just took me 30 minutes to make after going round and round with the woman I spoke with is not even a valid appointment...? She said correct. Of course I was frustrated, but was willing to find another provider to be scheduled with, which would be at a different and more out of the way location. The woman trying to re-schedule me could not even tell me where the locations were that she was trying to schedule me at... she kept going back and forth with someone else in the background about where the locations were, then telling me its here.... no, its here...no, its not that one... She went round and round with herself and her co worker before I could even get a word out as to which location I could make it to. Then she proceeds to tell me sorry Im not a scheduler thats why I dont know where these offices are... then have someone who schedules give me a call??? Incredibly unprofessional and waste of my time going back and forth with these people just trying to get in for a simple visit for nothing other than to continue receiving refills.. obsurd.

This office is completely unorganized! Ive tried to get them to switch over my number at least 5 times now and they are still calling the wrong number same with my email. Ive also tried to get my prescription sent to the pharmacy they said they were but then didnt and it took a week for them to see me again and they charged me for another visit. Ive been going here for 6 years and they cant keep a doctor for more than a few months so if you want 5 different doctors a year go here.

I was recommended this dr office by a family member. The original primary care physician I had booked with was leaving at the end of the month so I rescheduled with Zenon. She was amazing. I have been to other places and felt completely dismissed but with Zenon she heard me. She listened and we talked about all my concerns. She answered my questions with care and intelligence. It was so refreshing to be heard and most importantly be believed and supported. I am happy to have found a pcp home. I have recommended them to family members and a friend already since my visit. The office was clean and timely. All the different staff members I interacted with were kind and patient. I highly recommend.

Disappointed that the health forms we brought in for completion were not filled in completely, specifically the immunization record. No rhyme or reason to it just haphazardly filled in dates here and there. Thank goodness we were offered a copy of immunization hx. More disappointed, however, that careful review of immunizations was not done and the doctor failed to recommend the immunizations required to keep my child up to date as required by his school.

I went for my wellness exam with Dr. Patel. The check in people are always very helpful and kind. The wait time is pretty quick. The doctor is always helpful in answering my concerns and is very thorough with my exam. All the workers there are always very courteous. I always feel comfortable and quite satisfied after my visits.

My Physician Dr. Patel has been great but the Billing Department is a mess. I have been trying to get a response regarding my questions but no staff can answer my questions. They promised to call back but still no response. Beware, they also charge higher rates for Lab work since they use Cedar Park Medical Center rather than Quest, Labcord, or CPL.

(The review at the bottom of this review is 2 years old.) My experience has changed with The Office / Schedule/ Administration It appears Cedar Park Physician Associates don t want to be involved in Covid cases. They don t want to test you for Covid and I don t believe they offer testing by their office. Why? My experience today 2/7/24 was a joke. I home tested positive for Covid. I immediately went into the portal and sent an urgent message with a photo of the positive test and requested a prescription for Paxlovid. Hours later I received notification Nicole was out. I was informed I would need to seen before any treatment or prescription . I called and was informed I could only be seen the next day. As a patient I am 72 yrs. old and have several pre-existing conditions that qualify for high risk of death or serious illness with a positive test for Covid. None of these conditions seem to matter to Cedar Park Physicians. No sense of urgency at all. If Nicole Zenon had been there I feel certain I would have my requested Paxlovid prescription. Her absence should not have been a factor in my care but obviously it doesn t. Absolutely stunned to be treated like this by Cedar Park Physicians. I have been a patient with these guys from the beginning when it was just Dr.Ann Hathcock and she was doing mandatory physicals for my son in Pop Warner Football 20+ years ago. But today I am primarily reviewing the Cedar Park Physician Associates Scheduling Staff. Danielle went above and beyond trying to help with a solution to my scheduling problem.She listened to me and my problem and explained what the difficulties were in this instance. It took 3 calls back and forth with me and Danielle but we were able to arrive at a suitable decision. I must commend Nicole Zenon and her ability to assist in this resolution. Thank you Danielle and Nicole.

My office visit begins with a friendly greeting from the office staff. Then I take a seat in the pleasant waiting room. I am provided forms to complete and shortly am called to an examination room where the nurse takes care of the pre-exam details. After a short wait, Dr. Patel enters and in a pleasant relaxed manner does the exam while asking pertinent questions regarding my past and current health. He enters important information on a computer and shortly bids me a friendly goodbye and sends me to the in-house lab. The lab technicians are very considerate and efficient and I am soon on my way. Later in the day, the lab results are texted to me. All in all, my visit to Dr. Patel and the Cedar Park Physicians Office was very pleasant. Robert L. Fulmer

I have been a patient at this clinic since 2017, and until recently, my experiences were generally positive. I want to highlight the excellent care provided by former physicians Dr. Akins, Dr. Stoeckel, Dr. Hulburt, as well as the clear communication and friendly demeanor of the staff during that time. Nicole Zenon has been a genuine and caring provider as well. However, my recent interactions with the clinic have left me frustrated, particularly due to a noticeable decline in communication. On different occasions, I encountered difficulties in obtaining straight answers from the staff. Its disheartening to share that I often found myself being bounced around on calls, speaking to different individuals who provided conflicting information. Even when I tried to reference information quoted to me previously, there was a reluctance to acknowledge it, with attempts to shift blame or make it seem like I was mistaken. Additionally, I must express that my experiences with Dr. Patel and his staff have not been optimal. Although these issues have occurred only twice, the lack of transparency and consistency in their responses has significantly impacted my confidence in the clinic. Regrettably, I cannot currently recommend this clinic to others, especially considering the plethora of other reputable doctors and clinics in the area. Its disheartening to witness a decline in the quality and standards that were once a hallmark of this establishment. I sincerely hope these issues can be addressed for the benefit of both current and future patients.

Cedar park physicians associates and my doctor I see there have been amazing over the last 6-7 years I ve been a patient there. They always stay on top of medications and any changes that may be made to appointments, referrals, or other important information. The staff and doctors are easy to contact via the portal, which is also blind friendly, works with a Braille Display which I appreciate as a disabled client. Went here for an annual exam. I showed early and completed all questionnaires online but the receptionist was unable to see any of that and had me do it all over again on paper. Dr had to follow up with me due to routine blood work being done, they said this counted as an additional visit and billed me and my insurance and additional 192$ for the 5 min phone call on top of what they charged for the annual exam. Update - called them based on the response I got to this review. They thanked me for my feedback but said this was their policy. My insurance company says the charge is coded like I had some illness or needed a prescription. Seems like a total scam to me.

After the Lago Vista office of Cedar Park Physician s Associates lost our excellent physician Elizabeth Neal, MD and made no attempt to keep her here in Lago Vista, we were forced to find another physician in the network. Dr. M. Patel and the medical staff at Cypress Creek are very good providers, excellent care, available for appointments and they answer on the portal quickly. Unfortunately it s a long distance to their office from our home but we are satisfied with the care from Dr. Patel and the Nurse Practitioners we have seen. The complete lab at the location is a welcome addition. PS, After a promise of a replacement physician in the Lago Vista office within six months, it s been 2 years and the position is still vacant.

Had a case of vertigo so couldn t drive for an in-person appointment. I opted for telehealth thinking that would be quick. Six days was the first available to see my doctor. On the day of the appointment I waited in the virtual waiting room for an hour. It kept saying we re running late. Please be patient. I hung up and called in. Spoke to the screener and she had no idea what my appointment was for even though I had told the scheduler earlier. Frustrated I said just put my doctor on the line so I can talk to him for all of 5-10 minutes and be done. She wouldn t, insisting that I tell her the whole story which, of course, I ended up repeating to the doctor anyway when he finally got on. WHY IS THIS SO DIFFICULT?! Nothing against my doctor. I like him but this place s way of doing business is poor.

If I could give a negative rating I would. The doctors are nice but the supporting staff is horrible. Can refill the most basic of prescriptions properly I sent in a request for a prescription refill via their portal and I was only able to request part of it (had only one line for my 5 mg out of my usual 15 mg). Called up and explain my situation and requested an additional prescription for 10 mg. They said they will send it but never did. As I was going out of the country for a month I waited till I was almost out of the 5 mg to send a new request for a refill. I sent a request for 15 mg and finally got a person with a brain that I explained what happened and she sent a request to a doctor. I got a reply via the portal saying that the doctor the request was sent to is no longer working with them so I need to book an appointment with a new doctor. I called them up for the 5th time and told them to send it over to another doctor I saw previously. Finally I got the prescription sent to the pharmacy. But the pharmacy wont release the 5 mg out of the 15 mg prescription (one for 10 and one for 5 cause there is no one pill for 15 ) as according to their records i was on day 63 out of 90. The pharmacy told me to request the doctor the call the pharmacy and request them to release the prescription early. So I called the doctors office again and the request was sent to a doctor. Obviously they didnt do it and told me I can get the prescription and pay for it fully . Naturally Im not going back to them and already booked an appointment somewhere else.

Ive been a patient at CPPA for several years, however, my previous PC had to relocate and I saw Dr. Patel for the first time. He was very standoffish to the point of being rude. He did not take my issue seriously. I drove home in tears. I wound up in the ER later that evening. I never had this issue with my previous PC or with the nurse practitioner Ive been to once or twice. I rarely leave bad reviews but because I tend to give a person the benefit of the doubt, however, this appointment didnt have to go this direction.

She has made a BIG impact on our health. 5 stars for Tasha Norman as well. One family member experienced an unusual health situation one weekend that was concerning -- seen by an urgent care physician, an ER physician, and another specialist physician. Two gave different diagnoses (both wrong) and the third had no idea. We went to see Tasha the next day -- she gave her opinion and a specialist referral, which turned out to be the correct diagnosis and the correct specialist to resolve the issue. We were impressed. We highly recommend this practice!
