We actually had a chance to meet Amy herself the owner. She was very delightful very pleasant and wonderful to talk to. This restaurant was very nice even coming in close to closing time the food was fresh hot and very delicious. The portion sizes were wonderful. I had the combination fried rice the shrimp the chicken and the beef portions were very nice the shrimp had a wonderful flavor to it as did the rice carrots and peas. No complaints here the atmosphere was wonderful are waitress never let our glasses run empty it was true customer service. Vegetarian options: My wife is vegetarian she says her dish was wonderful very tasty and very fresh not too much salt or over seasoned. She had garlic broccoli and vegetable egg roll. At the end of the dinner we had a complimentary slice of cake.

Amazing food and atmosphere. Amy herself is very hands on and a hard worker, but always makes time to stop and say high to us. My and friends come every Thursday and they know the whole groups order by heart. The food is always steaming hot and full of flavor. The price is spot on if not cheeper than what I would expect for the portions and quality. The restaurant is clean and welcoming. Service is swift and the staff is always checking in and doing their best to provide the best experience possible.

Portions are family friendly and will want you going back for more. We usually have it take out, so I order extra sauce on the lo mein.

Its really too bad we use to go in and know Amy personally but its just no longer worth it.

This place exudes both sophistication and warmth. The atmosphere is both comfortable and spacious, while the staff is exceptionally friendly, always ahead of us with drink refills and checking in to ensure we were satisfied. As for the food, it was a delight. Each dish arrived hot and richly seasoned. I had the sesame chicken with fried rice and wonton soup. The soup s broth was warm and well-balanced, complementing the tender dumplings perfectly. The sesame chicken was perfectly coated in a crispy sauce, and the fried rice was a great accompaniment. The chefs, who have been with Amy s Cuisine for 15 years, clearly bring a deep passion for the restaurant and its owners, Amy and her husband. The love and dedication to Chinese cuisine are evident in every dish. I will definitely return and encourage everyone in the area to visit Amy and her team soon.

Food used to be amazing...mediocre now. They often bring food out cold and luke warm. Service (wait staff) used to be good...now they often forget items on you order, bring main courses well before appetizers....and then there is the infamous Amy.... the actual owner who has a chip on her shoulder so if your paths cross her during your dine in, brace yourself. Shes the stereotypical representation and encompassment of why Americans are nervous about to going to Chinese restaurants facing the fear of rude service!

Place is always empty because the dining room is horrible.. Tonight the beef in my takeout was rancid and I called to let them know and was treated with disrespect and called baby repeatedly and NOT offered a refund. Once waited half an hour in the store for my takeout after waiting 15min to drive there, asked for them to check repeatedly, asked to check the takeout table myself and told I could not. Eventually they realized it had been sitting there the whole time. Stopped getting food here a while ago because the prices keep going up ($60 for two people!). Started eating there again ordering cheaper food which is still more expensive than listed on the website. Will not return, Baby.

I have been ordering delivery from this restaurant on and off for about 10 years. The food has always been adequate but nothing special. The delivery drivers are very friendly and Im willing to overlook the occasional cold soup or whatever. But after trying to order food last night I think it is time for me to find a new source for Chinese food. When I placed an order for two for delivery I was told it would be 45 minutes to an hour. After an hour and 20 minutes I called back to inquire about the status of my order. I was told that it was with the delivery driver. After two hours (from when I placed the order) I called back again because the food still hadnt arrived. I asked to cancel the order thinking that if it had been with the delivery driver for 40 minutes or more I didnt really want it anyway. I was told that the driver had left the food at my front door. I told her that there was no food at my front door (I also walked out to the sidewalk to see if it had been left with one of my neighbors). She hung up on me. So I called back assuming the connection was lost for some reason. As I started to explain again the situation I was interrupted with, You said you wanted your money back. I said ok. And *click*. She hung up on me again. At this point it was almost 8:30 pm and we still hadnt eaten any dinner. We were already quite hungry, not sure what we should do instead at that point, and feeling quite jerked around. The absurd rudeness on top of it all was surprising and unwelcome. Im still waiting to see if I actually get my money refunded. Follow up: I did not receive the promised refund. I had to reverse the charge on the card.

Crab Rangoon was very tough, not crispy. Was like chewing cowhide, and cold. Broccoli in the General Tsos chicken was also tough and uncooked and huge pieces, impossible to bite off. Shrimp in shrimp lo mein was coated with uncooked batter. Shrimp were precooked before dumping into the veggies so edible but not correct. Wonton soup was also raw vegetables dumped into a broth. Soup vegetables were whole snow peas, not cut up and carrots in the wonton soup were raw and large pieces. This was a takeout order. When we called to complain, the manager was rude, butted in and we could never finish a sentence with her. She ended up telling us to basically get f....ed and if we didnt like the food to not come back. Then she hung up on us. Also found a piece of plastic polyethylene terepthalate (PET) wrapper in the shrimp lo mein, about 1 wide by 4 long. Beware of wasteing your money at Amys China Cuisine.

Here is what you need to know before coming here: Restrooms where clean and well kept with separate stall and restrooms for men and women. Plenty of tables and our server went above and beyond to make sure our table was taken care of (Mallory). Was seated, got orders, and served within a reasonable time. I had the Human Lamb (lamb in black bean flavorful sauce with mushrooms and squash) which was a plus. (Was served a little to warm for my taste and had them Heat it up on the wok which came out hot and fresh and added to flavor, not very big portions though so keep that in mind) Had the mouse cake shared at table and was delicious, and Boba tea if you like the tapioca balls to your palet :) Everyone at a table (8 of us enjoying each others company) enjoyed They serve beer, wine, and have a bar area with tv showing local Spectrum news. Despite limited shared parking was worth the trouble to get here and meet my friends coming out of the Cinemark theater. Overall not the worst but definitely not the best Chinese I have had in Cedar Park or Central Texas, but grateful nonetheless and even got to meet Amy, the owner, friendly professional woman who went above and beyond to make sure everyone here left full and satisfied. Keep in mind this place your going to pay more for less. I did appreciate not having loud music blasting me, especially since it echoes here. Also we all got Chinese fortune cookies (advice cookies I call them) and left full and satisfied. Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of accessibility to navigate and ramp accessible

You cant hold orders for ransom it is a violation of Ubers contract with you. Once a driver swipes and completes the pickup after theyve already confirmed it for you it starts the trip. You cannot do this and I have reported your restaurant to Uber for doing so.

Where do I start? Extraordinary food and tremendous service. Im picky about what I eat. And when I looked at the pictures. It looked like cheap, not organic food. Dont think that because its not. Everything is perfect, well, not exactly. You see, the decorative umbrellas on the felling arent exactly there for that purpose, I think. The air thing on top of the ceiling kept dripping water. You might think, Okay, thats fine. well, only if you like consistent water dropping on you. It was raining, and that could have been a factor in that. But it was noticeable. However, it may not matter to you. Because the food is fantastic, and for its price, maybe it added flavor. Overall, go here. It may seem like your classic 2000 Chinese buffet corner restaurant (its not buffet). However, it is incredible Chinese food. Vegetarian options: A whole section for it.

The only lemon taste was where 3 very small lemon slices touched the chicken. Crispy noodle combination; finally lots of veggies but it was SO fishy it was gross. It has shrimp but thats not the fish taste. $50 completely wasted. Dont waste your money. Theyve gone down hill. So disappointing.

Ive been a long time customer, weve always loved the food and service. Recently its gone way down hill. We were served 2 dishes at lunch today with hair in our food! We informed our server of this and he went to the kitchen and talked to Any the owner who then had him remove the cost of our appetizer only off the check! Our server did inform us that the cook wasnt wearing a hair net also. Absolutely rediculous and disgusting! Will not return! I hope the health department gets you after I call them for this!

I have been to Amy s many many times over the years and this is the first time, I have to honestly say, that it was not good. I had it delivered through Uber Eats, and when I received it, it was lukewarm (who s ever fault that is), but more importantly, the eggroll is over cook. I got a half a portion of fried rice and a hot and sour soup had an off flavor to it. Plus there were no utensils. Very disappointed

Ordered food in past for the convenience of delivery. For an order for one it was $32 plus tax and a $5 delivery fee. I live less than quarter mile away. Because of previously poor service, I said no to a tip, especially since there was already a delivery charge. I was called back after placing the order and told I either needed to include a tip or pick up the food myself. I thought a tip was for service well received! The owner told me she only pays the delivery people $5/hr and the fee was to cover their gas. Even if you get 20 mi to the gal, that fee would cover their gas for 25 miles. I was then told not to order from them again. DONT WORRY, I WONT. THERES BETTER OUT THERE. You wont be in business much longer when you treat your customers like dirt.

We order takeout from Amys on a regular basis. Over the last few months the quality of the food has declined while the prices keep going up. Last night the food was nearly inedible. The crab rangoons are more chewy/hard dough than filling. The kids chicken was like little hard bits of over fried leather. My chicken and vegetables came with sauce that was rancid. Time to find a new go-to Chinese restaurant.

As me and friends keep eating she gave us our checks making it seem as she wanted us to leave. As i pay for my food i was gonna give her a tip but she came to the table mad at me and my friends for not tipping. And ask us to tip i found that disrespectful and unprofessional, and once we were gonna leave she ask for a tip and i respectfully told her no . And explain to hear the problem. As we were stepping outside she told 2 of her coworkers to talk to us for not tipping and told us to not come back. And thats beyond unprofessional. As my first time at this location i was expecting a great service and a good food but by been hit with 3 rude servers i lost the passion to come back to this location. Our server name is wan.

This place sucks, mainly due to their management. Ive had decent food here, but its hit or miss. The bigger issue is my last order. I asked for no spice on my Mongolian beef and when I got home and tried it, it was really spicy. I called and told them about the issue. After basically accusing me of trying to scam them for another few order, they finally told me to come back and pick up another order. But make sure to bring the first order back of course! When I arrived, they looked at the original order I brought back and told me that it wasnt spicy because their were no chilis in it, and refused to give me the new order they had already promised me!! Last time I checked there are many spices besides chilis you can put in food! Bottom line, horrible service and they lost me, my extended family, and friends as customers over a $10 order. Their owner needs to look at the big picture.horrible business!! I see others with identical experience. Avoid!

First let me say that one of the big reasons we go there is that their music is very low. I can t stand going into a restaurant and the music is so loud you d think you re in a night club. Also, my father is hard-of-hearing and Amy s offers an ambience where he can actually hear. Of course the food is really good. My dad always orders a big bowl of hot and sour soup, even though it very much upsets his 86-year-old stomach. I told him that he doesn t learn, and he says that indeed he will not learn. I always order the vegetarian lo mein and it is amazing. My mom loves the cashew chicken. For my dad we order beef and vegetables with sauce on the side because gluten doesn t make him feel well. Mind you, the hot and sour soup I mentioned above. Friendly and attentive staff are a bonus. Amy herself usually goes around to the tables and says hello, and it seems that most of the clientele know her because of it.

First of all SUPER NICE PEOPLE, the place looked clean but this is just my opinion only. Ordered a margarita and a sweet tea, margarita was a mix not sure if it had any tequila in it at all or if it was a wine-a-rita but tasted like a lemonade. My husband ordered a sweet tea he said it smelled a bit like the ice and shrimp were kept together. My husband ordered the spicy house chicken it came with rice and veggies. He said it was ok but did lack a bit on flavor/spices. The fried rice was good. I had the spicy house shrimp and I did like it, I agree with lacking in spices and I did add a a splash of soy sauce. The best part of the meal were the crab rangoons tasted really fresh!

We ordered a large takeout for my moms 75th birthday and we called just a few minutes after they opened for dinner service. The food was mostly fine, but the service was terrible - we were told it would be 20-25 minutes when I ordered on the phone, I was a little incredulous so I asked the lady on the other side to confirm the time frame, so we left and promptly sat in the restaurant for an hour before our food was given to us and all the while we were told our order was next out and should only be a few minutes. In the mean time, no fewer than 4 other to-go orders just as large as ours came out (with later order times when I checked the tickets on the bags while looking for ours) and were picked up. When our food was finally delivered after 6:30, I asked to speak with the manager to explain they need to train their staff in setting better expectations for large orders (no, Im not that much of a jerk and demand for free food) and it was none other than the owner (Amy). Now, I work in a customer-service role in the tech industry and deal with escalations when the ball is dropped all the time. Things happen and usually some polite feedback lets someone address it so it doesnt happen any further. I had been doing business with Amys for many years, and just wanted to give feedback so they could correct the issue before it happened to someone else. Good companies should welcome this feedback. Except, the owner didnt this time. She less than polite and when I tried to provide the feedback she cut me off, Were f****** busy because its Chinese New Years, I dont want to hear it. Just tell me what you want. Amy, I meant what I said - I WONT do business with you again since you couldnt be bothered to spare one minute for a simple conversation and instead cursed and assumed I was after money.

My wife and I use to frequent this place years ago, when Amy use to be there daily (not sure if she still is or owns it) and we stopped about 7 years ago because the food quality took a dive. Tonight I took the family to give it another shot after years of not eating here. Well, I m sorry, but the waitress Hoa, rushed us while ordering and didn t take down the order correctly and gave us pork egg rolls after clarifying veggie, she still gave us pork. I don t eat pork and haven t for 10 years. I was told they would be taken off the ticket, well hoa came back with more egg rolls although we didn t ask for them. Our food was weird tasting and mostly fried flavored batter. Just an all around meh experience with someone that shared how tired she was at the end they didn t take the egg rolls off the ticket and she wanted to argue with me about it and I just didn t want to deal with it, so I paid for the gross food we received. We will not return just remember that when you place your orders that it s correct, if it s not, they still make you pay for it.

Its really annoying to go to a restaurant and learn that while other orders are coming out, DoorDash orders seem to be pushed to the back of the line... That both waste the dashers time waiting for food that could have been ready if it was made when the order was processed and the customers time having to wait longer for food that had they ordered it for self pickup.. order would have been ready ...What seems to be far more quickly.

It tasted burnt. I asked him to take it back. The manager came out and told me it had to be that way to bring out the orange flavor in the chicken. I told her the only flavor was burnt tastes. She asked me what I would like to switch with. I said the sweet and sour chicken, which was 2 dollars cheaper. However, when I got my ticket, they charged the same. I asked why, and the waiter said the menus are old and the chicken dishes all cost the same. I ordered pork egg rolls, but they served us vegetable egg rolls. I will not be back.
